The staff is wonderful! The view is gorgeous! The rooms and nice. Comfortable beds, clean, smell nice. We will return!

I can’t believe we were lucky enough to score a last minute room at this awesome place, during a snow storm on a holiday week and only a stones throw from the mountain! Seriously the lift line parking lot is the next driveway over. Incredible value and wonderful local owners. This is a 5 star deal in my single mom price range. We had a blast and stayed safely off the roads that night :D thank you!

We spent the weekend with our grandchildren. The little ones enjoyed the playsets and pool. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. If your planning a trip to Storyland, Santas Village or another NH attraction North Colony Motel and Cottages is your place. I highly recommend!

We stayed over last weekend and visited storyland. This place was fantastic! The pool was warm and relaxing and my son LOVED the playground. We enjoyed a nice camp fire with other the people staying here. It was overall a great experience. The rooms were freshly clean, quiet and had enough space to set up our 1 year olds bed. I recommend this place to anyone. We have been telling all our friends and family about this place for when they come down.
We already can't wait to come back and do it again. Such a great experience for our first family vacation!

We just got back from our vacation staying here! We were very pleased! We had a great time. The playground is amazing and the pool was great! Our 2 year old had a blast! Thank you for everything guys! We will be back in the future!

We only stayed one evening on our road trip but we were very pleased! Clean rooms, comfortable beds and close to shops and restaurants! We loved the front porch/wind barrier area as it was cold and snowy; it blocked a good bit of the unpleasant weather from coming in and even had lawn chairs to sit out. For the price you just can't beat it!

I stayed here with my Daughter & Granddaughter for 2 nights, my granddaughter absolutely loved the playground and didn’t want to leave! Excellent amenities, we stayed in the 2 bed queen room & it had everything we needed. We plan to come back & hopefully be able to stay longer! We would love to try a Cottage next time, The smell of a family grilling supper smelt delicious! I highly recommend this place, especially if you have young children. Clean, Comfy & everyone was so nice. I will definitely stay here again and I almost forgot about the very nice & clean swimming pool!

Great family friendly, family owned motel. We love how peaceful and quiet it is here. We also love all the playscapes for the kids! They would be just as happy playing at the motel as they would be at one of the amusement parks!

Is a nice quiet place with a big playground for children and a decent-sized pool. The couple that own and run this place is very friendly and kind I would recommend this to anybody looking for a place to stay with their family.

This was our 3rd stay at the North Colony. We love it there! So much for the kiddos to do plus clean, comfy rooms. Great theme park packages too.

We have been coming here for years with our two sons and have never even looked at another place. The North Colony Motel is awesome! We stay when we take the kids to Story Land, which is a 10 minute drive. When we get back the kids use the play area til it's dark. They also have a pool outside, volleyball/badminton net, and a basketball hoop with all the stuff needed right inside the office. After we checked in this year and were settling into our room my six year old said "I didn't remember this place until I saw it, then my stomach got excited because I really love this place! " So, kid approved. Also, you have everything you need within a 5 minute drive. NH Liquor Store, with a general store next to that for beer, and plenty of good places to eat out or pick up and bring back.

Very kid friendly. Clean and quiet. Repeat stays and plan to come back.

Great place. Extremely Clean. Great playground. Our 4 and 7 year old loved it! They wanted to stay longer and asked if we could live there. We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage for 3 nights with 2 adults and 2 children and 1 teenager. It was perfect for us. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook simple meals. Stove, microwave, full fridge, and coffee maker. Motel is 7 minutes from Story Land. The hosts were extremely accommodating while also respecting our privacy. I highly recommend staying here. Very family friendly. We had a blast and are very likely to return.

The most comfortable, clean and spacious motel in Barlett, NH. The owners are so friendly and very helpful.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and spotless! The front enclosed area is a great place to sit and chill in the evening. They have a nice children's play area and a wonderful swimming pool. The owners are there every day and are the nicest people in the world. We will definitely be staying there again!

Very clean and comfortable accommodations. The room was one of the cleanest we've ever had at any hotel regardless of cost. The kids loved the playground.

We have been staying at North Colony almost annually for at least eighteen years. In that time we can think of nothing at all that we could have anything to complain about. Joe and Nancy are perfect hosts and the rooms and grounds are well maintained The pool is a bonus, and the location central to all that the White Mountain area has to offer. Our family has gone up the last two years and absolutely loved our stay. They are welcoming and friendly. All the rooms and property are well maintained. We have gone up with children ages 3-8 and they enjoy all the play equipment and the pool. It's definitely a place we will continue to stay at.

We stayed here once, many years ago. I enjoyed the Conway Scenic RR train going by directly behind the motel. There was a nice playground for the kids.

Nancy was a great host and very helpful with telling us about attractions around. The hotel was nice.

Amazing! Great rooms, great service, great location, great owners! The only thing I didn't like was 10am check out. Most places are either 11 or 12. Otherwise very nice! This was my two sons and I's 1st vacation ever and this place was great. We will be returning next year! Give it a try you won't be let down, promise! They have little cottages too! Side note: Stay clear of Bart's Deli down the street. Their pizza is very good but the cashier WOMEN IS EXTREMELY MEAN! Don't bring children in! Your best bet is to head East on 302. See you next year North Colony.

Stayed for 3 nights with our 2 year-old with autism as well as 3 other families. Comfy and cozy. Tons of fun play structures for the kids. Only issue is the play structures are close to the road so if your child is a runner it could be an issue.

On our New England tour we stopped here in the White Mountains. It is a simple motel, but very clean and inexpensive. Also the location we found better than Central in North Conway or Lincoln, which was something to us comercial and Wuselig. We were particularly positive about the very warm and helpful owner family who helped us with every problem class.
