My wife and I could not have had a better experience. Nick, his mom, and Memphis the doggie were all great. The breakfast was superb and so were the drinks at the bar in the evening. The inn is very warm and inviting and the personality Nick and his mom bring to the inn is hard to beat. We will be back!

So grateful we found this little gem in the White Mountains. The hosts, room and breakfasts where amazing! Can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a more intimate experience.

Wonderful. The rooms were very nice very clean spacious. The owners were just wonderful and I would recommend this place to anybody thank you for a great time.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days to celebrate our 35 wedding anniversary. I am glad that I chose the Bernerhof. From the moment we entered the inn, we felt right at home! The inn is stunningly beautiful and immaculately clean. The breakfasts were scrumptious and the owner Nick and his mom, Kelly were the perfect hosts. Their dogs, Jack and Memphis are very sweet. They made this inn feel like a home. I loved the decor of the inn. Everything was placed so appealingly. One last thing, the jetted tub was phenomenal. I did not want to get out of it! Thank you Nick and Kelly! You have become our new friends. We will see you again, very soon.

We stayed here on our last day in NH, a spontaneous last minute decision to stay one more night. We chose this place. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Margaret and a beautiful friendly dog. Margaret was so friendly and showed us to our room. The charm that this place has is unreal. We put our bags in our room and ended up mingling in the bar area where there is a fireplace, comfy couches and a bar. This is where we met Kelly. I felt like family and everyone was so friendly we had such an amazing time. We ended up migrating to the fire pit outside where Nick started a fire for us. We were chatting with the other guests and spent hours laughing and talking. Our new favorite place where we made friends. The rooms are beautiful, jacuzzi and shower, comfy king bed. We will be back. Thank you Margaret Kelly and Nick. We'll see you soon.

My girlfriend and I do not know where to begin. The hospitality at this Inn is absolutely amazing. Nick has an amazing attention to detail and what his guests want he delivers. He will go above and beyond for anyone. We hadn't been at the inn for 24 hours and we didn't want to leave. We hadn't even left yet and we booked a stay in August. The inn is beautiful in the winter, with a snowfall cascading down alone the inn. We are excited to see the amazing gardens that summer time has to offer. The breakfasts that were prepared for us every morning were delicious no matter which staff member cooked for us. The staff is incredibly professional and made us feel as tho we were invited to a family gathering. We cannot wait to return for more amazing memories to be made.

Staying at the Bernerhof is always one of the highlights of my trips north. Extremely clean, friendly helpful staff, comfortable plush and spacious rooms. I can’t say enough positive things about my stay here. My boyfriend and I were there last weekend for my birthday and Nick so sweetly included a little welcome treat! Breakfast is always amazing (I had THE best biscuit I’ve ever had in my life)! We will be back soon!

From the moment we arrived, I knew immediately this place was amazing. Nick, the Innkeeper, greeted us with a smile & showed us around this gorgeous B&B. Our room, Fryeburg Village, was amazing. The bed was beyond comfy, the jacuzzi tub was to die for, and it’s the perfect mix of classic & modern all in one.
Breakfasts each morning were phenomenal. Kelly was so great and the food was perfect.
We can not wait to return to this is an absolute gem of a place nestled into the White Mountains! Thank you again, Nick & Kelly for an amazing experience. Until next time!

What a beautiful building from the late 1700’s it’s beautiful inside and out, management is second to none.

Such a great place to visit. This B&B has a great owner who does a great job making his guests feel welcome. This place is full of history, built the 1700’s. At the end of your day you can enjoy a glass of beer/wine with your loved one, at the bar. Breakfast is delicious, the owners mother is such a great cook. I know my girlfriend and I will be back soon!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Inn, my first time at a bed and breakfast and what a delight. Very clean common rooms and bedroom, and the owner was outstanding, made sure we were well taken care of. And the breakfast he out out was nothing short of fantastic. We will definitely be returning soon.

My husband and I stayed here for a delayed honeymoon a few years ago. It was one of the nicest B&Bs we stayed at during our trip. Everyone was very nice and helpful and we ended up hanging out with owner and some brothers I believe at the bar area and having a blast. Food was amazing and room (bretton woods) was top notch. Cant wait to get back up there and stay again!

I had a fabulous time at the Inn. The Innkeeper and his mother were such nice people and extremely helpful. The rooms are immaculate and nicely decorated. Nick was simply amazing from the moment we arrived where he waited until 9pm for us to arrive to our last day, offering us a couple of extra nights due to a cancellation! This place is a gem! My fiancé and I stayed here for a little birthday getaway, from the cute little spa, to drinks at their in house bar and a delicious breakfast the next morning, we couldn’t of asked for a better weekend! The Inn is beautifully kept and soo cozy, it truly feels at home. Nick goes above and beyond, making sure your stay is perfect! He even went as far as finding me, my necklace I left behind and mailing it to me! Thank you, thank you!

What could be better? An old and beautiful inn in the heart of the White Mountains where guests who are strangers enact a murder mystery that leaves them all shrieking with laughter and enjoying every last moment of a fabulous weekend! (And some of us formed wonderful new friendships too! )

My husband took me here for two nights on Labor Day Weekend, and it was the best B&B experience of our lives! The Inn is very classic and beautiful, and every corner is immaculately clean. We had a suite with a separate sitting room, which was very spacious and helpful for spreading out all our hiking gear. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom is AMAZING. So spacious, the hot water never runs out, and there's a waterfall shower head so you can just take a regular shower. The room has it's own a/c unit, which is awesome at making the room cool for sleeping. Wi-Fi was very fast. Breakfast was amazing both mornings! It's served 8-9:30, and I highly recommend NOT skipping it to leave early or something… you'll really miss out! The Black Bear Pub on the first floor was our favorite little spot to hang out. They have a wide range of craft beers and excellent wines… there's something for everyone. Jeremiah and Lisseth, who run the Inn, are the most generous, kind, hospitable people. And they are so interesting! The place would not be the same without them. I think a weekend here is well worth a drive from any part of the country. We will make every effort to be back soon! This was an excellent B&B. The host (Jeremiah) knew us by name when we walked in, was very helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was originally built as a B&B around 150 years ago so the setup is perfect with no shared walls between rooms and separate bathrooms. There is a separate pub area and sitting room with TV as well as many common areas. I would highly recommend this B&B.

This Inn is outstanding! It has a beautiful spotless rooms that would rival the best hotels, The Inn keepers are top notch and greet you like you're part of there family. The common areas are warm and inviting, I wish we had time to try the food they cook on the spot for you. We'll be staying here any time we are in the area.

We desperately needed rest and we found it. Hope to return someday.

The managers, Jeremiah and Lisseth, are wonderful. They we're genuine, kind people that are passionate about what they do. The bed and breakfast had a cozy atmosphere and the room was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed our breakfast as well as bonding with Paco the gold retriever. We would definitely stay there again.

It is impossible to state just how wonderful this Inn is, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. It is an older Inn with tons of character, clean and well maintained. There are simply no words to express how wonderful the staff is! They do all in their power to make your stay excellent. You will be made to feel truly at home in every way! The food is absolutely wonderful and the dining atmosphere beyond comfortable. I can almost promise you that if you visit, you WILL go back again — I certainly plan to!

Stayed in the Glen Junction room. Beautiful room. Jeremiah and Lisseth were excellent hosts. Lisseth cooked breakfast and dinner for us, and the food was phenomenal, especially the pulled pollo with the Peruvian yellow pepper sauce. Jeremiah was always available if we needed anything, and was a very friendly host, making sure everyone at the Inn was having a good time. And of course, Paco, their dog was quick friends with everyone who walked in the door.

Best weekend ever! I spent last weekend at this wonderful inn with my beautiful new bride and we had a wonderful time! We had never stayied at a bed and breakfast style place before but I have already referred this place to several people! Jeremiah, Lisseth and Paco are the perfect trio to run this comfy little piece of paradise! Scamp at the bar is the organic cherry on the sugar free cake My wife and I felt welcome and very comfortable, the Jackson village suite was spotless and absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be back to celebrate for many years to come and we hope to see all of these wonderful people again, plus Paco owes us a tour on the nature trail.

First time ever doing a B&B, and I am so glad we chose this one for our first experience. The property is very nice, the building is quite cozy and clean (could probably use some touchup work here and there, but it's very minor). We stayed in the Bretton Woods suite and absolutely LOVED IT. Breakfast was delicious — they served biscuits and gravy our last morning. You have no idea how big that is to a couple of southerners living in Yankee-land! Roberta and Carla do a fantastic job running the inn, and were very kind and accommodating to us the whole time. We had a wonderful time and want to come back. Seriously, my wife cried when we left.

We were pretty late for check in but Roberta was so gracious and friendly. The interior of the house is just as charming. It felt really romantic. Our room was on the main floor and we were only there from about 9pm to checkout the next day so we didn't do much exploring, but I loved what I saw: a cute little dining room which we were invited to eat our late night take out dinner at, and there's a little sitting room off of the dining area that looked cozy. The next morning, there were some amazing blueberry muffins available on your way to the dining room. We were greeted by Roberta's daughter Carla who told us about the breakfast options and started us out with a delicious yogurt/fruit parfait. I really liked the restaurant setting rather than sharing a big table with all of the guests like other B&B's. And you can come get breakfast anytime between 8-10. No set time! The entire meal was flawless. I'm in the food industry and I can be critical, but I couldn't say anything but praise about all of the food. As we said our goodbye's we were presented with a tote bag containing some treats (including muffins! ) and that was just the cherry on top of our visit. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The Bernerhof Inn has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast and baked goods, yard games, fire pit, walking trail and wrap around porch. Roberta and Carla made the experience that much better.

Absolutely brilliant. Clean, comfortable and just beautiful. Kudos to the inn keepers, Roberta and Carla for creating a fabulous experience. Everything was top of the line. The food, the accommodations and service are all outstanding. Home cooked gourmet meals. We participated in a Murder Mystery weekend event. Outstanding weekend. Never thought we could have so much fun with 16 strangers. Great location lots of options: biking, hiking, lakes, shopping, affordable and good food locally while out and about. We will definitely come back. Awesome all around. Wish I could give it 6 stars.

Bernerhof Inn is such a great B&B! The innkeeper, Steve, made our stay so memorable, and their dog, Holly, made a great stay even better. Steve is a great cook in his own right, and I would not hesitate to go back just so I can have breakfast there. Highly recommended if you're looking for a B&B in the area.

How can I add to these reviews!? Great place to stay, Rooms are very nice, dining room and bar is a perfect fit for the B&B. Nice, North Conway location, away from the hustle of the shopping area. Steve and his wife are great people. Friendly, helpful, everything you could ask for of 'InnKeepers'. You can tell Steve enjoys what he does. Steve made some adjustments for us that was 'above and beyond'. Great folks, great B&B… you would not be disappointed.

We stayed just one night but I wish it could've been longer. The room was clean, comfortable, and adorable, and Steve was so kind and basically the best host ever. Such a great inn and if we ever return to NH we'll stay here!

My husband and I never been to a B&B before. But last December, we decided we wanted to take a trip up North and stay at a cute, relaxing, comfortable B&B. After much research we decided on booking a long weekend at The Bernerhof, in Glen, NH. Just minutes from North Conway. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, we were greated by Holly, the mascot and dog! We walked into the Inn and Steve, one of the Inn Keepers was so welcoming, warm and friendly! We new we were going to love our stay here. Breakfast is yummy. Steve is a great cook. His daughter is a sweet waitress. His wife Katy, the other Inn Keeper, is fun, sweet and kind. From the moment you arrive til the moment you leave you are treated like family, not guests. The room was super cozy and quaint. Relaxing and perfect for snuggling up next to the fireplace. There is absolutely nothing I can say negative about the Bernerhof — — it was an amazing, positive getaway. We loved it so much, we decided to go back this past July! Same great hospitality. Now, we consider Steve and his family friends, not just our Inn Keepers. Before we left our mini-vacation, we booked a returning trip for the murder mystery weekend in November. We are really looking forward to it! So if youre looking at stay somewhere in the North Conway area, check out the Bernerhof! Steve and his family will become your family soon after visiting.

My husband and I chose this nook in the beautiful White Mountains to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. I thought we'd have a nice quiet getaway for a few days and come home, like any other short trip. I was instantly blown away by the superior service when I walked through the front door. A tastefully appointed sitting room, finely decorated halls, large yet intimate breakfast nook, and quaint pub awaited me. In the decor of each guest room on the tour I could see that there was something for every taste offered. Breakfast was incredible and varied each day with choices to try new things or have some good old comfort food. The coziness and welcoming nature of the building itself is second only to the service we received EVERY day we stayed, from Steve and Katey. This truly is a place where the owners set the tone, attending to every detail seamlessly. Our most fun adventure at this escape was snow-shoeing (for the first time) through the trails provided there, with the help of the house mascot/trail guide, Holly. This experience was so much more than a short getaway, we have wanted to spend every moment since leaving back at The Bernerhof.

Absolutely fantastic experience here! The innkeeper was incredibly nice and made you feel right at home. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was phenomenal. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

A wonderful stay, where breakfast was delicious and great innkeepers who are extremely knowledgeable go out of their way to help. Also don't leave without a massage at the Serenity Wellness Studio downstairs.

One Word: AMAZING! I can't even describe how wonderful the Bernerhof is! It's cozy, warm, inviting, and the breakfast is to die for! By far the best breakfast food I've ever tasted! I highly recommend staying here. It is 10 minutes from the center of North Conway, and less than 15 mintues from a few different ski resorts. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each one being unique. Mike, the Inn Keeper, makes you feel right at home. Not to mention AGAIN the fact that his cooking is AWESOME. a must stay.

If you're on the fence about a place to stay and this is one of them, I highly recommend this place for your stay! Its under new ownership and management which according to some dated reviews has breathed some life into this quaint, full of history B&B. It has all the old charm you'd want but with some high tech amenities! Mike the manager is a local thats travelled all over, knows the area like the back of his hand and can help recommend some great places to visit and eat! The only bad side is you'll enjoy your stay so much you just have to go back again and again.
