Kind of a lower feeling hotel. Definitely 2 star hotel. I stayed for 2 nights and whole it was perfectly fine, the shower was leaky, toilet had some problems flushing, but worked after awhile. You can tell it was an old studio apartment. Owner was very quick and efficient, very kind. Don't expect a holiday inn, or anything high end, but for $80 a night, it was passable. Five Guys right next door.

Days Inn & Suites initial score would be much higher. Advertising itself as near the casinos… even by name… and advising that it has a shuttle. Once we got there the attendant was quite pleasant until we asked if there was a shuttle to the casino. He replaced with a snarky no. The room we had was of a decent size however there was a damaged door to the bathroom and some of the outlets did not hold the cords in the walls. The mattresses are pretty hard and uncomfortable. Their cable selection however was extremely good for the price. An additional tip to be known is an uber from this location to the to the casinos is roughly $22 to $24 before tip. The trip will take roughly 20 minutes. If your reason to use this inn is to do something else or you are able to travel to the casino yourself… you may have a better experience.

Dont think you getting a pool, total lie. Gate is always locked. Pool looked like use it for a toilet. Never Again, kids were crying.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We arrived and immediately were concerned, as the lobby was tiny and the walls and floors worn. Cracking in the walls. Decided to see what the room looked like. The room: Queen bedroom and living area, their suites. Filthy. Crumbs on counter, chipped and worn furniture. Unknown sticky substances caked into stained and faded couch (see photo). Windows even streaked and handprints all over. Coffee pot obviously not clean, with dried coffee in bottom. Door patched over in a spot (? Punched through). We asked for another room, and were told there was only one left, so we agreed to switch. 2nd room: Not the "suite" we paid for. New bed was only a double. Front desk told us it was a standard queen, I own one and can assure you it is not. The sofa was clean, but again furniture worn and chipped. Another patched door. Very stale smell for a non-smoking room. Called the front desk, and he told us we were welcome to a refund and to go elsewhere if we weren't happy. While he maintained a polite demeanor, he seemed completely uninterested in seeing the photos of the filthy rooms. He seemed to be well aware, and didn't care about it, either. We wound up calling the Hilton Garden Inn, which is 0.2mi down the road. Really, you could walk there. A little bit more expensive, but exponentially better. Staff is attentive, pleasant, and made sure we were comfortable. Go there instead.

You get what you pay for. The photos must be from when the place was new. The place is dirty, stinks, doesn't even have a printer with the computer in the lobby. Breakfast is a joke. Found hair in the drain of the tub. Suspect bed sheets might not have been changed. The place seems to have a few unsavory characters hanging around so keep an eye on your belongings. On the plus side it only cost $57.00 a night.

The bed had bugs and ants on it it was nasty as hell would neva go back and the people are rude idk why.

The room was clean and the service was hospitable. Breakfast was decent. However, they should have a maintenance person on the premises because our toilet was broken. My husband is a maintenance man so he fixed it.

Bathroom is a bit small and no where to fill up a water bottle, but good for a night.

I was here for about 2-3 days-? I thought this place was nice for the price! Continental Breakfast was good/Staff very nice/Accommodations were good-but, The kitchenette didn't have a stove/oven-? — It showed having one! The pool was closed in November! Overall, I had a very nice time & everything worked!

Good choice to stay near Mystic… comfortable room and breakfast included correct.

I stayed 5 nights and don't have any major complaints. The hotel could definitely use a major remodel but overall it is nice. At 10am every morning, house keeping would come and ask if I needed anything. It's really odd, they dont have some one at the desk during the day. When I went to check out they had a box for you to put your room keys in as your way of checking out. Good price and nice staff. It is fairly close to the Naval Base.

Absolute dump. We booked a double for starters, double meant 1 room with a bed one with a pull out couch. No sheets or anything extra for pull out. When we asked for them we were told "there were no more". Huge nasty stain on the pull out as well. Tv in pull out side sucked and the picture was all fuzzy. One heater was updated one wasn't. Bathroom door looked like it was broken into and patched up but in a rush. Looked very poor. Found someone elses dirty sock in the room as well… Definately DON'T stay here.

Cheap rate for the area. Perfectly adequate for sleeping. In dire need of renovations.

Great service room service is excellent clean daily easy access to other locations from highway.

Very poor customer service… I had found out I left important documents on the counter in front of him. I waited till the morning to come down. Because all of the staff here live here. I called down to ask him about my personal information binder was downstairs. He said he didn't know anything about that. He had to of because I was at the front desk it was on the front desk in front of him, then he said when he wakes up he will see about it. If he is working the overnight into the morning shift he shouldn't be sleeping. I really think that who ever runs the corporate off for days inn they need to address the major problems in this hotel. Ive never seen such poor customer service. Do not recommend this place to anyone. As I will be calling the corporate office, if my documents are not returned.

Price was ok. Gentleman at desk who checked us in was friendly and courteous. The room though… The room was awkward and very uninviting. Incredibly dated and an odd layout. The kitchen that time forgot was just a bunch of empty cabinets and a leftover vent hood from where a stove used to be. The refrigerator had obvious fist dents in it from who knows how many people punching it. Seriously, who does that in a hotel? Since it was basically one odd room, the refrigerator was too close to the bed and the sound of the compressor going on and off made sleep very difficult. This was only compounded by the fact that the pillows might as well have been empty cases, and the fact that there seemed to be some kind of mechanical room behind a locked door in the closet area that also sounded like a lawnmower running all night. We had booked and paid for two nights, but the awful night of sleep has us out the door at 5 the next morning and not going back for seconds. We knew there was no chance of getting some money back for the room, but we asked anyway and the man at the desk said we should have told him earlier and he would have put us in another room. Yeah. That's what we wanted to be doing at 2 or 3 am when we already haven't slept well. We would love to have dragged ourselves down to the desk to talk to you, get another room, and then move all our stuff somewhere else and try again. No thanks. There were other hotels that could be seen from the parking lot of this one.

There was just a king sized bed… No chairs or desk… Very uncomfortable. There was a microwave, coffee maker and a fridge, but only two plugs. The receptacle was torn away from the wall, and seemed to be a fire hazard. Not nice.

Very nice people! Worn building and room, but clean. Needs a major refurb.

Our room was very dirty. There were food crumbs on the floor, greasy handprints on the windows, trash in the trash can that was stuck on the bottom, some kind of yellow sticky stuff on the bathroom sink and dirt/ mold on the bathroom wall. On the up side, the room was spacious with a nice television. There was an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer in the room. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it.

Place was dump. Bathroom had hair everywhere and the tiolet handle was loose so I had to play mr maintaince man so my wife could use the tiolet.

The hotel is a bit dated. The staff was cordial, the rooms were adequate. The breakfast was just OK, but the coffee was colored water. The price was good for comparable hotels in the area, but you need to understand that this is not a 5 star hotel. Would probably look slayers if we returned.

My wife and I were here to visit the water and see a concert at Foxwoods. The area is very safe and quiet. Getting here is easy, and the parking lot is well lit. Our room was clean and fine for the associated price tag. The TVs were good quality, the bed was reasonable, and the AC worked well. The tub and bathroom faucet were a bit worn and the bathroom fan was broken. The only real negative that I would point out, is that the water pressure is really poor. We have an old home, which also has bad water pressure, so one of the things I look forward to is a blasting hotel shower with super hot water. The water was plenty hot, but barely rolled out of the shower head. Other than that, this place is an example of an older hotel with ownership slowly trying to upgrade things as they go along. One more thing, although I didn't swim, the pool looked pretty nice actually.

Loved it great hospitality very comfortable I got it with the jacuzi and stove lovin it (navy).

Very nice clean hotel, I got free up gradation to suite room which was awesome. we thankful to the staff, great customer services. Good enough breakfast. We love it. we recommend to everyone stay here in Groton CT.
