4 stars for customer service. My car broke down as soon as I got here they were so helpful I had to have my car towed away and stay an extra two days at the last minute they were so accommodating I was just so stressed out, because I was vacationing alone this is a great place to stay just far enough from town to be peaceful. Not to mention you have a nice quiet beach and pool. The owners could not be more accommodating if they tried! Can’t wait to come back a few more times before the season ends.

They only have one person in the reception. She works from 9am to 10pm… and despite of her willingness to help. She's always busy. The sheets were no changed, room is ordinary and he beach close by is worthless. The pool is closed with a locker at night and mornings …

Unattended hammer on the roof, both ball smell, mold odor.

Was a nice view. However for the price it was very run down. Had a very musty mold smell everything was very dated. The outside lights to the facility turned off around 11 which made it very dark and unsafe and rather sketchy.

Grate value for the location very comfortable grate staff.

Terrible place to stay Its like the Bates motel parts of the building are not finished the worst hosts awful room service DON'T STAY THERE.

Location is great however it's very dirty and Old Fashioned.

Clean, easy beach access, nice owners, good price.

The main problem is that it is overpriced. All amenities are second-rate, there is no internet access, and the room does not include shampoo or conditioner. It is next to the beach, though.

This motel it's close, we when through there twice and it's just close. No notice or anything saying why it's close.

I tried to call and cancel a reservation outside of their policy and they offered me a room voucher.

False advertising and totally misrepresented! the rooms were very musty smelling. There was a very large patch of black colored mold above the shower. Opened up the door wall and the door fell off the track and yes, I also saw the loose dogs running around, and their remains were clearly in the sand outside the door for all to see. The dogs were not on leashes. The grounds were NOT kept up, as there were weeds every where. We als were lucky enough to find a room at the EAST HARBOUR MOTEL AND COTTAGES, down the street. NOW this is what we were expecting. Renter beware. The only thing this place has going for it is the location, which has plenty of other places to stay that are much nicer! STAY AWAY.

READ ALL THE POSTS, not just the first page — like I originally did! This motel is a joke! I made a reservation 2 months out for a wedding we would be attending, received a confirmation e-mail, and called 4 days prior to make sure we were still on the books (per the recommendation of the confirmation e-mail). After waiting for 5 minutes for them “to bring up the computer”, I was told that they had canceled my reservation because mine was for 1 night and they could get others to stay for 2 nights. When we discussed the fact that their site did not mention this, they agreed and gave me the option to pay for 2 nights, even thought I was only staying one, and they could work me in — but would not allow me to stay 1 night or make a reservation for a single night. Again-the website said nothing about a two night minumum at the time my reservation was made and they sent confirmation that my single night was booked — and then they cancled my reservation without notification. (Looks like this is common practice per some of the other posts) These motel owners have no idea how to run a business. After reading the numerous reviews that consistently mention terrible service, mold, urine smells and dirty sheets, I called back to cancel my 2 night reservation and was hung up on. THANK GOD WE FOUND A NEW PLACE TO STAY, because when we drove by this shack… I would have to agree with the majority of the posts… DO NOT STAY HERE. I question who even wrote the few positive posts there are.
