Great Resort that is very kid friendly while not looking like a kids resort. New pool is excellent with lots of sun chairs and cabanas that you can book. Lots of little details on the property like a giant life size chess set, large lawn with volleyball nets. Shuttles into Edgartown are nice and run regularly. It is close to the beach but can be a bit of a hike if you are hauling a bunch of stuff on a hot day. There is also a big activity center for kids (with a second pool) with daily programs put on by the staff. The restaurant was very nice with great views from the patio. Concierge was very helpful with planning our days as we were new to Marthas Vineyard. Will return again.

The resort is a nice play to stay, not too far from South Beach. It is literally right down the street from the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there are shuttles that can take you to the more active area of Oaks Bluff if necessary. There are also shuttles that run from the resort to downtown Edgarstown. I would recommend Winnetu if you want to spend most of your time resting and relaxing on the island, as opposed to an area such as Oaks Bluff which is louder with more people, more activity. Lizzie, the front desk rep at Winnetu, is super helpful and friendly. You will be well taken care of at this resort.
