Good rooms, nice location.

The worst Motel on Martha’s Vineyard, try the Mansion House Inn or anywhere else instead! They canceled my two night reservation after I called and said I was unable to arrive for the first night due to a Ferry breakdown but would still pay for both evenings to hold my room for the 2nd night. When I went to check in at 7 PM on the 2nd day of my reservation I found out that the Receptionist gave away my room. The other receptionist I spoke to was apologetic about the error and offered to find a room for me at a bed-and-breakfast nearby. I was traveling alone for work and felt out of place at a B&B. I will never stay at this location again and would recommend the Mansion House in Vineyard Haven for only 20 or 30 bucks more a day.

Location is great, affordable, the on site restaurant Grill on Main is fantastic.

I stayed at the Clarion Inn from monday till thursday of this week. Tilmon was there to help with everything. There was some complications with my reservation and he fixed everything and I was able to get into a room. He recommended many great places for me to visit, all the dining locations. He help me with getting a taxi. He's just a very helpful and great person and the type of service he provides is what makes people want to stay at this inn over and over again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, location perfect for walking.

Spacious rooms and clean. Breakfast was a bit let down, and regular coffee had ran out when I got to the breakfast area and it was only 7 am. But it is conveniently close to a supermarket.

The Clarion MV was such a fabulous choice! Close to town, next to a super market to put some fav's in the room's fridge… and a much needed "proper" coffee maker! Most importantly it was spotless and the staff and Dyanne were all so professional and friendly. Dyanne is a Phenomenol Massage Therapist on site! Thanks All!

Poor internet, expensive rates, average accommodations, lethargic staff.

Rooms are fine and this is the nicest "chain" hotel on the island. Second floor has no elevator and the breakfast is horrendous. All packaged foods and they ran out of spoons.

Expensive for the time we went, but closeness and staff can't be beat!

Breakfast was ok but everything else was excellent including the room and staff.

We returned mid-day to find 2 strangers (carpet installers) in our room and all our tech, valuables and clothes stacked in the middle of the room. Not the installer's fault, they were very nice. But management failed to notify us of this intrusion. If we'd known, we could have secured our stuff and even taken some things with us in the car during that time. They comp'ed the room for the night, but I would have preferred less drama. This affected our entire vacation. Big mistake by management. Really dumb.

Great location, can walk downtown. But it is a very basic Clarion. Staff was wonderful and very friendly. But, we checked in, got our room key and found that the room hasn't been cleaned since the last guest. Tracked down housekeeping and, thankfully, my husband stayed in the room because they were starting to make the bed with the old sheets and food used towels. Had to go to front desk to resolve. Room was comfortable but overlooked construction. For over $500 a night, we expected more. This room and hotel should be around $100/150 but Edgartown can get crazy prices. Then, breakfast was included but it was a small array of prepackaged pastry, rubber bagels and hard boiled eggs. For the price we paid, we expected a more substantial breakfast. Will probably stay elsewhere on our next visit.

My experience at this hotel was TERRIBLE! After my husband and I checked in to the hotel, that we were told when making the reservation was pet friendly, we were treated so disrespectfully by the manager (a dark haired mid thirties man). We checked in, got settled in our room and set out to take our two, three pound tea cup Yorkies for a walk. Apparently when one of the hotel workers saw one of the dogs, she bolted downstairs to tell the manager who quickly came upstairs and proceeded to speak to us in an unbelievably disrespectful tone. After my husband explained to him that during the reservation process we Were told that the hotel was pet friendly, he continued to be rude and told us we could not stay at the hotel. (Considering this hotel actually turned out to be a PET FRIENDLY hotel, I was shocked that the manager was behaving as if we had wild boars in the hotel and still can't understand why he was so rude… I can only imagine) I immediately began pulling the suitcases out of the room. The Manager continued to be rude as we were attempting to check out of the hotel, when I told him to stop speaking to me in a rude manner, he picked up the phone almost it in an attempt to intimidate me by threatening to call the police, which I believed was because I am an Black woman.

Friendliest hotel staff! Gorgeous rooms! Beautiful view! Perfect location! The End!

Amazing staff, very accommodating for a spiritual retreat we had over the summer. God should bless Wes & Evelyn and all the staff with much success and happiness in the new year. Beautiful rooms. Fresh surroundings. And, again, quite accommodating and helpful.

Great location and quaint room near beautiful downtown Edgartown. Would come back!

I can not explain how happy I am with everything this hotel with a cell phone. I need a computer for this one. Our room… Perfect… The staff. Perfect… Our location… Perfect… Everything is simply perfect! There will be a more detailed review posted shortly.

Great place to stay. Staff was outstanding.

Very affordable and very accommodating staff. Our room was clean, it had a good a/c, and is across the street from a Dairy Queen. Not to mention that stop and shop is right next door and the rooms had a microwave plus a refrigerator. It's a easy 15 min walk into the downtown area of Edgartown and there is a bike shop close by. If you rather drive, then it's about 4 min into town. A 4 min walk up the street takes you to another shopping area with a bank of america, pharmacy, post office and other places you might want to get a few min last things from. To be honest, it was worth every penny.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I was content to just keep my terrible experience to myself. Then, I opened my credit card statement to find that I was charged for something that I didn't use. To start, the staff at the front desk, when checking in, was rude and completely unhelpful. We had reserved two rooms at the same time, but were put at opposite ends of the hall. We were forced to give a credit card, even though the rooms were already paid for. This was, as explained to us, for "incidentals". When we said we didn't want to put a credit card on file, we were told that it was "company policy" and had no choice (what could we do, we were already on the island). We had to sign a statement saying that we would be charged $250 if we brought a bicycle in the room and $250 if we smoked in the room (the entire hotel was SUPPOSED to be smoke-free). The smoking statement will be relevant in a minute. The room was nice. Spacious and clean. I will give them that. However, not long after we got settled, we could smell cigarette smoke. We couldn't find the source. It wasn't coming from outside and it wasn't in the hall. The only thing we could come up with was that someone was smoking in an adjoining room and blowing the smoke into the bathroom vent. We were told that we couldn't move rooms because the hotel was almost full. No attempts were made to help us get another room other than we were told there "was nothing they could do".

Very clean and pleasànt. Good breakfast.

I was pretty content … the beds were so comfortable and a stop n shop next door was convenient. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops!
