WORST customer service ever. Stay FAR away. Came with two small kids in the rain, accidentally didn’t put that I was bringing my kids. MY bad. Lady was the RUDEST I’ve ever come across. Told me I’d have to pay an extra 200 on top of the 468 I already paid to upgrade. Would not work with me AT ALL. Stay far away from this dump of a place. Never experienced anything like it.

Great mini vacation for us! We had an amazing time. Very good location, clean rooms, and nice indoor pool. Definitely would recommend. Thank you for a wonderful few days.

Hyannis Inn allowed me to use a credit from a 2020 cancellation towards a 2021 trip. Staff turned out very helpful in the end — much appreciated. My parents will be staying for a trip… I'll make sure to review the stay after the fact! Thanks Hyannis Inn.

Sure, wouldn't give us our money back. But the place was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The Grands had a wonderful time and we stayed socially distant from everyone. My grands were the only 2 in the pool. It was a nice change of pace after all these months.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! So VERY DIFFICULT to deal with during this nationwide pandemic. Refused to offer a credit voucher for a safer time & said would charge additional $70.00 if we came since we disputed the charge with American Express. Miserable management and unsafe to go here!

A great place to spend the weekend. Great service, friendly people, clean rooms and a great complimentary brunch each morning. It is located right on Main Street, Hyannis, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and ferries.

We unfortunately had a very bad experience with Hyannis Inn. I don’t recommend this hotel to others based off their customer service, or rather lack there of. My fiancé planned a surprise mini weekend getaway and booked this hotel. It was unfortunate that there was a family emergency and we were unable to go. We cancelled well in advance (before 48 hours) and was told that it was non refundable by the hotel. I were told that if we booked directly through the hotel we would get our $785 back but because it was through Expedia I would have to speak to them. The hotel staff I spoke to went on to say Expedia does this to people all the time and they are really difficult. I spoke to Expedia and got a totally different story! Expedia had to open a case and management of Expedia had to speak to Hyannis hotel directly, came to learn that they denied our request for money’s back. The fact of the matter is it was a weekend during a busy time and we called 4 days in advance to cancel. They are cheapskates who obviously had no problem filling that room, so basically they made double the money, instead of just being decent people not to mention lying putting it on Expedia whom I’ve never had an issue with, ever. This is a rotten small family owned business, if this was a chain such as the Hilton, or the Marriott it would not have been an issue. So much for ma and pa business, never again.

Great Handicap room stayed in 2018 for my 50th B Day but this year I booked it but have to have Emergency Surgery they would not refund me or let me book for another date. This is Not good customer service. We will not go back.

Such a great location! Located near many shops and restaurants! The inn is very clean and room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and kind! We will definitely be visiting again!

We came here for our honeymoon and I just can’t say enough about how wonderful the entire staff is! When we mentioned to the owner that it was our honeymoon, he hand delivered fresh berries and champagne to our room. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and hot, and the pool is clean and warm. We will definitely be back for our next (few! ) anniversaries!

I had reservations for this weekend and called to speak with the manager because I was inquiring about a credit to use at another time and even if I had to pay the difference due to a family emergency. I didn’t want to cancel my reservation, just change the date of stay. The manager Julia told me that my father should’ve planned his heart attack better. Horrible customer service! So rude it is unbelievable. Do not stay here!

Staff is really friendly and nice. Our room was cleaned and comfortable. This motel is located on main street in Hyannis. Great location. We had a wonderful time.

Room clean-ish, and quiet. Breakfast was nice and so was the pool. Would give a better review but the beds were awful. Rock hard, the floor might have been more comfortable, basically couldn't sleep. Very high prices for very low comfort.

The room was neat and the wood floors was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and the room was touched up every day. AC was working well and the rooms were quiet. Plenty of parking on the lot. The restaurant wasn't great. Had no water one day and they could not make coffee or tea. Really?!? How about going out and grabbing a bag of ice to melt down. Don't think the. Chief was interested in out of box thinking that day. Also the 2 free drinks were non-alcoholic drinks that came with the room. No biggy, since it's a state law thing. Over all good place and close to the beaches. I would make plans to stay again next year.

Very easy checkin / checkout. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and pillows were fine. I wished the AC was on in the room before we arrived as it was almost hotter than outside when we first got it. Within walking distance of almost everything in town which was amazing. Didn't try the pool but it seemed nice when we walked by.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The hardwood floors in the rooms are such a nice change to the common carpet most hotels offer. Pretty comfortable beds with clean linens and fluffy pillows. Very close to many shops, restaurants (and of course ice cream). This is our second stay here and I couldn't be happier!

New renovation, nice new floors, weird creepy breakfast cook.

This place has new owners that just bought this place a couple months ago and was recently renovated. We stayed here for the first time this weekend and had a pleasant experience. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and nice. Her name was Judy. Easy check in. Very clean motel. The new owners are working fast to improve everything about this place. It's been renovated There are two small buildings called four points tavern and compas cafe with this motel and they offer breakfast and lunch and dinner. And the other building is more of a bar and tapas and small plates. We tried both on two different days. Both reasonable prices and way more affordable than other places around. Great food and drinks and They are building outdoor patios with fire pits! The pool in the motel is very large. We can't wait to go back. It was very nice. We stayed in the queen room with Jacuzzi.

I went in for breakfast at the compass Cafe the food was delicious it was served in a good amount of time quickly and it's a nice place.

Stayed here last year for same Columbus Day weekend. AC in room was perfect. Great stay. This year no AC in our room. Owners response was "If I reinstall Windows ac in your room, I'll have to reinstall for all rooms. I could refund your money and you could go somewhere else. " 10 other rooms had ac installed… Normally a great stay. This time the ownership was lacking in integrity. Very uncomfortable stay… : (

Location couldn't be better. Clean! Friendly service! Best price comparatively for what you get. Super, heated pool! Be back next fall definitely!

I highly recommend this Motel! It is a great place to stay at. It is located on Main Street to all the restaurants, stores and museums too. They are very friendly there. The place is clean. The pool is awesome because it is heated. I would go back in a heartbeat. Everyone was so nice. I loved the room that we stayed at.

Clean rooms, Helpful staff, very close by to all the resturaunts and shops. Great indoor heated pool! They offer coffee or tea from 6am to 10am as well.

Clean room, jetted tub was dirty in the tubes could use bleaching. Coffee & tea was nice in the morning, but a continental would be nice for the price. Pool was fantastic.

I really hate writing bad reviews but if I can save you money then I'm glad you read this. We stayed for one night in a queen room with whirlpool. The website at the time said that these rooms came with a deck in two chairs this was not the case. The bathroom door had a hole in it and the bottom of the bathroom door was completely rotted through. When filling the whirlpool full of water it was extremely rusty and overly heavily smelled of chlorine. The rooms are completely outdated looking back to the seventies. The worst part was that when I raised some concerns neither the staff nor the manager the next day cared at all. For the amount of money that they charge there are far better rooms and hotels elsewhere. If I could have given this a minus rating I would have. Please save your money and save your time with this place and go somewhere else.

There was an issue with the number of guests staying in the hotel so we were turned away at the office. I completely understand this point but the owner of the inn was incredibly rude and wouldn't even give us 5 minutes to figure out what to do. He practically shoved us out the door. Zero class. Only stay here if you must. There a cheaper and nicer hotels nearby.

Came with my family for a night on the cape. The rooms were generously sized, comfortably furnished, and extremely clean. I don't think I've ever been into a cleaner hotel/motel bathroom before in my life. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about restaurants and the surrounding area. Wonderfully central location to all that you need. 5 stars all around.

I walked in ready to book a room for me and my friend, who are visiting from Boston, for Sunday until Tuesday. The woman working the front desk, Judy, saw that we had a friend in the car and asked if she would be staying as well. Our friend, a local, was not going to be staying with us but just helped us find the motel. We explained this to Judy who decided that we were apparently untrustworthy and were going to try to sneak in other guests and refused to rent the room to us. She had no basis to make this assumption, as my friend and I who wanted the room are 30 and 25 year old gainfully employed adults who would have simply payed for a third guest if we had one. I explained that this was absurd and that she had no reason to make this assumption so I asked her if she treats all guests this way which she insisted she did. Obviously she does not as they would be refusing the rent rooms to anyone. My friend and our local friend are of ethnic decent and based upon her unjustified accusations with no basis for the argument I am sure that we were refused a room based on the racial views of this 70 year old desk clerk. I will NEVER give this place any further business and discourage anyone who is not racist to avoid this location as well. Judy's outlandish behavior and accusations should see her terminated from the position. The motel definitely owes me, and my friends an apology for the unacceptable behavior of their staff.

This was our second year here, and it was as good as the first. the location is perfect. We parked our car and never touched it again until we left. Restaurants of all kinds nearby, and the Harbor and docks are within five minute walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms were neat, tidy, and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We found the staff to be very friendly.

Booked a room for a trip that had to unfortunately be cancelled soon after booking. The reservation was cancelled 6 weeks prior to the actual arrival. Their policy says that they charge a $20 cancellation fee if the reservation is cancelled 7 days or less of date of arrival. They charged me a total of $105 for the cancellation. I called them and nicely asked for my money back and they said ok. They credited my card back $85 and said they were keeping the $20 because it was the policy of the booking agency. It says on my receipt under their cancellation terms that the Hyannis Inn Motel sets their own policies and handles all cancellation charges and to call them directly for any questions. Needless to say that I will never stay here on future trips and the only question I have for them has to do with their honesty. I would have had no problem giving them a $100 if I cancelled a week before but 6 weeks notice?! Summary: I paid $20 for a reservation that I had for less than 24 hrs! Just a sleazy way to make $20!

Great Motel reasonable prices. Right in town with parking. Walking to a variety of restutants and shops. Great pools. In door pool has a hoyer lift for individuals with disabilities to get in and out of the pool. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.

My wife and I had a really big problem with another hotel and had to find somewhere else to stay. This place was wonderful they did everything they could to help us we stayed 5 days with them and couldn't have been happier. Very clean and comfortable staff was great we will be back again next year. Highly recommend this place.

Another great week at this well-kept secret! Everything about our stay here was great — the staff, the cleanliness and size of the room, the pool and of course the location. I can't imagine staying anywhere else for the price and all you get. Thanks again. See you next year!

August 22, 2014 — Had a reservation for my son and I, then a friend of his wanted to come along, so I figured no problem — right? Wrong. Because we were 3 people over the age of 18, we would have had to have 2 rooms. Be careful if you plan to book there, if you are a family with two or even one child over 18, you better plan on two rooms. They need lessons in business etiquette and how to deal with the public. The guy behind the desk was rude and then someone else came in equally as rude. Will NEVER entertain staying there even if it were free. Oh yeah — because of them, we called the place that we stayed at last year (which showed up as sold out on the internet) and got a room for 4 of us (a 4th person came out too) and saved $10 a person per night. So if you feel I owe them a thank you for being rude and disrespectful, then a big thank you.

The room was great! We stayed for one night in July and had a wonderful time in a whirlpool room, which featured a large bathtub with massage jets. The motel is very centrally located in Hyannis and accommodated us on short notice. The only slight complaint I have is that the room had a hotel-ey smell. The place features a large swimming pool which we didn't find time to check out, but seems very large and well-maintained.
