Beautiful property and the room was perfect!

Upon arrival the staff was extremely friendly and as helpful as they could be. The house was beautiful and has a gorgeous view. The pools and hot tubs were wonderful. The downside,
1) the house was extremely hot! Staff alerted me upon arrival that they had gone in the house and it was extremely hot so they turned on all of the bedroom air conditioners and closed the doors. That worked well, for the bedrooms. The rest of the house was hotter than outdoors and it was 90°+ the whole weekend. Staff was able to bring 3 fans but that did not cool down the house, only circulate hot air. 2) We were alerted again, upon arrival that there is an apartment on the lower section of the house. Had I known this prior to renting I most likely would have rented elsewhere. Although the staff were friendly and greeted us as they came and went we were renting the house for privacy. 3) While we were gone maintenance had entered our rental because apparently there is an issue with the downstairs shower leaking into the downstairs apartment if the curtain is not closed fully. Even when shower is off because shower head leaks. We were not informed that this is a normal occurrence and it was due to the way it was built (words of the maintenance man) With that said we had returned from our day (A group of 6 women) to a man leaving our rental. Mind you I had alerted staff prior to arrival as well as check in that we were there for a bachelorette party. 4) For the most part it was clean.

We had a wonderful long weekend here. Very clean, friendly staff, pool and hot tub was great and caught a beautiful sunrise from the deck. We will be back.

Clean, spacious, beautiful view of the marsh! Gorgeous flower beds. Close to town, Indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub… outdoor pool has walk in access for people who have trouble with stairs! Highly recommend!

The friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff was remarkable. The grounds and landscaping, flowers, bushes, etc. Were almost storybook in their presentation. … The 2 pools, and spa, hot tub were impecablr… and the ocean view absolutely awesome.

Clean, spacious rooms. Nice balconies that are well lit. Indoor heated pool and outdoor pool and hot tub. Buffet breakfast included. Nice view of waterways and ocean! Near to lots! Staff helpful, friendly and courteous!

Great management. A wonderful cool weather getaway with their indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Free breakfast and a fitness room with just the right amount of equipment.

We have been coming for 15 years usually twice a season. This is privately owned with the owner on premises. It is impeccably maintained and they have recently remodeled most of not all the rooms. It is always a pleasant experience when we come.

For a last-minute trip, I don't think I could have found a better place to stay! We were visiting for our first wedding anniversary, and the staff very kindly left us a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers with a card to congratulate us. The room was clean, comfortable, had a lovely view, and more than enough space for my husband and I to spread out and call it our home base for the weekend. The trolley stop is right across the street making it a snap to get just about anywhere, but Footbridge beach was easily within walking distance. We loaded up a wagon and walked down for the day after enjoying a fantastic breakfast on the lawn. Everything you could ever want or need right at your fingertips, thank you for the great stay and memorable anniversary!

What a lovely home-spun place! Just came back from a relaxed three day stay. Very clean rooms with a good continental breakfast. My only issue was the poor Wi-Fi but otherwise Nick and his family were great hosts! We'll be back!

Family motel, clean comfortable rooms. No activities or concierge services like you'd expect from a resort. Breakfast has NO protein of any kind. Good sized refrigerator in the room. Beautiful landscaping and view of the river. Good Wi-Fi.

I have been going here for almost 20 years. It is meticulously clean and they are a wonderful family that owns it. Their prices remain reasonable and if you have questions or need something they are always accommodating.

Very nice and welcoming accommodation. Clean rooms and well appointed. Breakfast is a bit basic but not bad by any means. Two nice pools and hot tub available.

The Mariner was a nice place to stay for a night. They include a Continental breakfast. The rooms were clean. This is a motel style place where your door and window open to the outside. Plenty of free parking on site. It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach.

Great place to vacation. Have been going there for years. Clean. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Coffee available all day and good breakfast. See you soon.

We have been coming here for years. Always very clean and great service. We stayed here for our Anniversary and when we got to our room there were flowers and a card waiting for us.

Great location older but well kept. Breakfast starts too late 8am to 10am better if started at 7am.

This place is absolutely beautiful, just got here and I can't wait to see the rest of this area. The locals are friendly and helpful, the staff can't do enough for you. The rooms are very clean and well kept up. We got here at 930 pm and have only been here 4 hrs and I am already writing a review before I know what what anything around here is like in the daylight, LOL!

The amenities were very nice. Indoor and outdoor pools were great, so was the hot tub. Great views, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms could do with a facelift but were serviceable and clean.

I have been coming to Ogunquit Maine for years on vacation and the Mariner is by far the best hotel that I have stayed at in Ogunquit. It is a short walk to Footbridge beach, and all the facilities at the Mariner (such as the pool and hot tub) are great. Awesome free continental breakfast every morning at 8 am. I definitely recommend the Mariner to anyone who wants to vacation in Ogunquit. Another added bonus is the Ogunquit House of Pizza and a trolley stop are right across the street!

This is a great place to stay… large clean up to date rooms. The sink area is separate from the shower/toilet area which is a big plus in our book. A larger than usual fridge with a separate freezer (you could easily fit a couple of containers of ice cream and then some… and microwave. Our king size bed was very comfy with a decent sized flat screen TV on the opposite wall. The hotel has a very good "continental breakfast" which they call light but honestly its more than that… fresh fruits, yogurts, hot and cold cereals and the usual array of breads, muffins, pastries and coffee & OJ make it way above average! The pools and hot tub are very clean and well maintained… and there are lots of chairs and lounges and tables to use. If you don't need to be right in downtown Ogunquit or Wells this is a great in between spot! We were only there for an overnight but could easily spent a week there!

This place does not have all the bells and whistles of the fancier places. And its not waterfront. With that said the folks that run it are fantastic, breafast is free and very good. Some homade baked goods. Rooms are clean. Outdoor pool is not heated bu very nice.

Excellent place to stay. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. A very good continental breakfast. Oh and the view isn't sore upon the eyes.

Every year I shop for several days with old friends. We use the Mariner as our base for 2 nights because it has several suites with 3 beds and an ocean view (granted it is in the distance but still beautiful). Staff is very helpful, breakfast on site is delicious and the accommodations are very clean and comfortable. There is always an abundance of clean towels and washcloths, pillows. Along with a refrigerator, microwave, and table and chairs.
