I had booked a room on Wednesday July 25th for a one night stay for that Saturday. My husband, our 11 month daughter and myself drove 16 hours to Maine. Finally arrived at the hotel gathered our things and walked in to check in. The lady at the desk was rude. We had planned on paying with cash because for 1 we NEVER use our card out of state unless we need to and 2 we only had so much in our bank due to the fact that we had all cash with us. She said there was nothing she could do. So obviously we left and went somewhere else. She then called me shortly after that to ask if we were still coming. I then told her we were just there and turned away because we were paying with cash. She claimed we should of been informed that they don’t take cash when I called to book a room. Clearly I wasn’t otherwise we would of had the money in the account. Anyways so she said that our card wouldn’t be charged. The next day before leaving we stopped at a store to get a few things and went to use our card. Declined. They pulled the little bit of money we left in our account. Went to the hotel and talked to a different lady who told us that they do take cash and that she is so sorry that the other lady was rude to us and that the charge wasn’t on their side so it was probably just the pre authorization and that it would fall off of our account but that she would pass a message onto the manager and have him call me on Monday. Still haven’t gotten a phone call.

This had to be the worst vacation I have ever had. I used to love the Ramada. My kids and I have spent the past two weeks here and I have had to move my room 3 times. All for serious things. First one was I found a empty pill capsule on the floor that my baby was about to put in his mouth. Second time the outlets are not safe and got electrocuted from it and caused a burn on my finger, third time was from finding cockroaches in my bathroom in the middle of the night… I no longer want to be here but they have already charged my debit card and I have no other place to go. I have spent over 1200 dollars on hotel fees and for that amount of money I should not have to deal with what I have had to go through. A hotel should be for relaxing and its far from that. I was wondering why they are renovating this place and that is why. Worst experience ever.

Love this place. This trip was luck to have the Executive Suite, which had a new king bed, new sofa bed, new furniture and great staff. Thank for a great time.

Terrible place to stay! Years ago this place was beautiful and well taken care of, now it’s a dump. Besides the need for a complete update and renovation, it is disgusting! Stains on everything, rotting walls and bathrooms, constantly smells like weed, hair and filth everywhere! Never staying here again!

Tired of paying outrageous prices for hotels with terrible service, I decided to switch things up for my birthday this year, so I booked a room at the Ramada. It was a HUGE MISTAKE! I originally called to reserve a room A MONTH in advance. I booked a suite for $30 more then the regular rooms and was told that I would have a king size bed and a pull out couch. When I arrived however, they gave me one of their regular room which was tiny and had two full size beds. They switched me around a bit but none of the rooms were as promised. I wasn’t able to resolve this issue because apparently when I called to reserve the room, they didn’t actually reserve a room number for me so I was left with whatever was available at that time… That didn’t stop them from charging me the full price of the suite I was supposed to receive. The beds are beat! They look like they needed to be replaced 10 years ago. Thank god I didn’t end up staying because sleeping on those things would have been an absolute nightmare. I also made a point when I called to reserve and again when I checked in, that I was only there to enjoy the hot tub and I asked several times if their hot tub was up and running. I was told it was. Shortly after checking in, I went to check out the hot tub… it was half empty and it was cold. I called the front desk to complain and they said they were having maintenance go fix it and they would call my room when it was finished. The issue never got fixed.

We stayed here at the Ramada on a whim, at a really bad time in our lives. My Mother had a stroke and we needed to be close to cmmc, Hospital. After a very long pm and am came back for a hot tub, sauna and a swim, hit the spot! We had supper tonight at the fusion! The waitress was more than GREAT! She accommodated us to a T! We also met the Manager, he also was very ready to meet out needs. The food was delicious and comforting! The art through the place is very nice and all done locally! Have u enjoy the pictures! Thank you the Wallace-Kennison Family! We shall be back, but under better circumstances!

The doors are really thin and for some reason the hot water didn't work really late at night (worked fine in the morning). Rooms were clean and otherwise it was an alright stay.

So expensive for what you get. Weekends are outrageously expensive. Great pool hot tub was more of a lukewarm tub. The sauna was not so hot but wonderful that they have those facilities. The restaurant, Fusion, is so expensive and not very good food for the price. They have a buffet but the food is not consistently good. I stayed there for a while and they definitely did not compensate me for my extended stay in fact they really overcharged and the owner was not easy to work with in fact I felt he was quite abrasive. Most of the other staff we're very kind but definitely overworked and underpaid. Most of the people I worked with were great but you can tell they were burnt out it seems no one has an easy time talking to that owner: (

Clean place. Friendly staff. Affordable prices. Wi-Fi is usable, but not incredibly fast. If you need a basic place to stay, with no real concerns, the Lewiston Ramada has been totally acceptable the handful of times I've stayed there over the past several years.

Absolutely terrible! Would never recommend or stay there again. Customer service was terrible, they lost my original reservation which resulted in me paying double the price! I also ended up with two double beds, when I paid for a queen bed. The manager was not helpful whatsoever, just kept saying call customer service, I can't help you (he had very poor english)! The swimming pool was cold and the hot tub was dirty (piles of dirt). The toilet stopped working in my friends room, who was staying there before her Wedding day. She also paid for two queen beds, and ended up with two twin beds. We were told must have been a "misprint online" and can't help you. The thing that topped of our visit was the ONE bartender on St. Patricks day, who was not experienced at all. It took a minimum of an hour to get a beer (no exaggeration). Needless to say I would highly recommend booking at another hotel! I should have read the reviews prior to booking a second time, lesson learned! The Ramada in Lewiston, Maine gives the rest a bad reputation!

Great service. Love the staff! Great drinks and food. Very clean and nice atmosphere…

My boyfriend brought our girls to the Father/daughter dance held here and I was able to sit at the bar and have a couple of drinks with a friend during the event. It was convenient for me to be so close in case our youngest daughter needed me. The location is also conveniently located minutes from our house.

Houskeeping is very good. Their restaurant, Fusion, needs help. Cold vegetables and dinner rolls. Twice the server ignored me sitting there waiting for service… even thought there were only two of us in the whole restaurant. I've walked out twice and will never go back. The front desk staff told me to sit at the bar if I wanted better service… really?

Called to reserve a room for tonight and was told that I could pay cash upon checking in. That was a complete lie. Not only did the front desk manager Deedra tell me to get back in my car and drive to a store, but insisted that I was SOL. I don't have a car and I live 2 hours away. Great customer care.

Convenient to restaurants and shops. Well priced. The pool was open which was nice. We were there around Christmas, though, so the restaurant there was closed and no complimentary breakfast.

We attended a wedding. The room was decorated beautifully. The staff was very attentive. A good time was had by all.

It was good. The rooms were super clean and the front desk clerk was very nice. There was a lot of construction so it was messy and the pool and hot tub were closed, but it's necessary for improvement. No complaints.

Not good. Travelling on business. I had my client book the room with his CC card since he paid the expenses for my trip. (Client thought he was pre-paying the room, turns out he only guaranteed it. ) Franchise owner wouldn't use that card to pay for the room. I offered my CC as a backup, but he was rather rude, told me he would charge that card as a "no show" if I went someplace else. I was standing in front of him, but would NOT charge that card to pay for room. Makes no sense to me. I decided to go to the Hampton Inn down the road, where they were very nice to me, gave me an upgraded room (free), since at both places it was a slow night (Wed). Owner not customer service oriented, and would rather charge someone for a no-show (on a card he wouldn't take for the actual stay). He would have two forms of payment, both of which were good for the small amount (one night). Seemed like a decent place, very poor understanding of customer service. Poor attitude of the owner. IF you have any issues, don't expect him to do anything to assist you, even if he can. There are far better options in town, start at the other places if you can.

This place is great. It has the best food, it has a pool and a hot tub, and I bet everyone will love this place. Everyone should stay here. I had my sweet 16 here and all my friends stayed here and it was the best. The new owner is the best and he is very good at his job. So I give this hotel 5 stars. (i am a hard grader)

I was a vendor at the Diva Dash event and the conference room was clean and beautiful! The bathrooms wer also very clean and we'll maintained.

The Ramada is a great place and the service is amazing I highly recommend it.

Pool and hot tub. Reasonable rates for the quality. Amazing breakfast buffet.

Stayed here nice place very clean. There was on problem. We rented a room that was suppose to sleep 4. The room we got only had one bed. We had our daughter with us. So when my husband addressed this issue. The best they could do was give us a cot for her. They also charged for the cot. They said it was their screw up. So we were charged another 30 on top of what we already spent to stay there.

Conference room was very nice, staff was very pleasant and quick. Very easy to find.

The room was nice as well as the pool and hot tub. The brick wall in the room with poster bed were nice touches. The hallways and doors to the rooms are really nice. Very clean with really nice staff.

Hi Everyone, Ramada Hotel and Conference Center is scheduled to be updated in this winter. Management have planned to add King size bed in some rooms and other will be 2 queens and 2 doubles. Management have also planned to update and modernized Lobby area, Banquet and meeting rooms. These changes will help to build our nonrecognition back with our valued guests. Property will be continuing serving our guests during renovation.

I will have to say we chose this hotel because of it's access to the highway and the availability of truck parking. We spent no more than $110 for a suit and it was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in for that value! Spotless, tasteful and comfortable! Wish there was more like it out there!

The atmosphere of this hotel is adorable. I love the brick look. The courtyard is also so welcoming — I could spend all day out there! The bed in our executive studio was too firm for my liking, however. Also, the bathroom was small and awkward, making maneuvering difficult.

Great hotel, loved the good services. Would definitely go again. Room was nice and clean, had no issues with maintenance. Staff was great and friendly. Amenities were amazing, pool was clean and our family had a great time.

The rooms were clean and cozy I was bummed that the vending machine wasn't working and that there was no elevator.

The room that we recently stayed smelled like wet rug and mold. Awful! People at the front desk weren't that friendly, mostly the ladies than the only guy there. You have to pay for breakfast, it's not complimentary! Even though it's a reasonable price, you end up paying more for your stay. Pool is nice at least.

Meal was ok at best. Good deal. Horrible waitress who had almost no tables besides ours seemed more focused on hanging at the bar with her "family" than doing her job. Front of the house lady very nice and accommodating though.

Easy to get to the hotel, Rooms are nice and comfortable beds. Service was good but not very sociable.

The ballroom was where we had the fundraising event. It was a craft and vendor fair that had up to 70 vendors. It was clean, we'll maintained. The bathroom did not have a changing table for me to change my newborn on however.

The rooms are very outdated. Bathrooms are tiny. The conference rooms and bar are nice though.

Basic but adequate accommodations. Indoor pool and hot tub. Friendly staff.

Had a okay stay, great location everyone was friendly and helpful, no hairdryer but when I called sent someone right up, only odd thing he wanted to look in bathroom guess he didn't believe me but brought one, otherwise would stay again! Great location but I could not find any breakfast in the morning.

Was there for a Confrence not a stay. Confrence room was nice.

Very clean and friendly. Indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Reasonably priced. Stayed here 3 times and they were consistent.

Very nice hotel. We had a single night stay. The decor in the hotel is above average. Will definitely recommend.
