My honest opinion on the Hilton Garden Inn and the Windsor police department is that they are beyond INCOMPETENT. They are completely useless at protecting their guests; if you want to be robbed and have no one take responsibility definitely come here. Coming back to this hotel or any of its chain locations are never getting my business.

Always a welcoming staff on my frequent visits.

Staff was amazing! Russ checked me in and explained everything with me in detail. All the charges and all possible charges. No surprises here! Also, I am a smoker who doesn't smoke in her house or car so smoking outside is a must. Well the weather was freezing and Sandy at the front desk informed me of a seperate smoking section outside in which she turned a heat lamp on for me in said section! Amazing! Also, I refused housekeeping because I like to sleep late and I had a few bags of garbage that I wanted out of my room so I was going to bring the bags to the dumpster and Sandy said don't worry about it I'll take it for you! On my second night I met housekeeping outside my door to request more towels and toiletries. I was given exactly that without being questioned! I've stayed at plenty of hotels however none have done as well as this! Thank you guys for an amazing stay!

I had the king bed room. This room was spacious and offered an equal amount of storage and countertops. The room was updated and pretty, and the view from the fifth floor was beautiful. I went downstairs for dinner, and was a little surprised at the prices, but ate nonetheless. The food was well worth the price. Breakfast was a buffet of equally tasty food, even the coffee had a smooth flavor. Checkout was quick, and the staff was friendly. I really couldn’t have wished for a better stay.

Bar… restaurant and room service was phenomenal.

This is one of my favorite and best hotel. The service that the staff provides overide anything that I might have had a problem with. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff gets an A+. I was there 2 time in the last two weeks. Both times I was not feeling well. The first time a lady came to my room to fix the sink that had a broken faucet. She noticed I was stuffed up and not feeling. When my husband return to the room from being at the swimming pool he had tea for me that the staff had sent up in hopes that it would help me feel better. I thought that was thoughtful and kind of her. Two weeks later I returned and once again was not feeling well. When I checked in I mentioned to the lady that I was not feeling well. Actually I had stomach problems and was in so much discomfort it was written all over my face. She immediately went to the little store in the lobby and looked for soup and gave me ginger ale. Hours later I received a phone call asking me how I was doing. She brought me some tums and offered me anything else I think I needed. I think her name was Susan/ Sandra. I have not seen this level of customer service in a longtime especially in the hotel industry. I travel on a daily basis and stay at lots of hotels all over the world and this is by far the best customer service and stay. Never once did I ask for anything. They were thoughtful and kind. I appreciate them very much. I was so sick and scared to be by myself. Thank You, Thank You.

Ole Duphus stayed here on my most recent business trip. A very nice place to stay w a bar and restaurant. Good service and clean. But for some reason I had no alarm clock in my room. First time that has happened.

This is my second review and it is still a three star after talking to someone behind the desk who was absolutely wonderful. Purchased a Dunkin Donuts coffee (5 dollars each) and one was expired. Had maid service come in and they failed to replace an empty roll of toilet paper, provide extra soap, replace used bedsheets, provide floor mat for shower. The front desk has improved but the room clean services are poor.

This place has a good feel upon walking in the door. The restaurant and bar are decorated nice. The front desk crew were nice except one little black girl on Saturday night. The rooms are comfortable a bit compact. I didn't understand why the long shelf across the room. A desk would be more appropriate. The office chairs were also weird.

Great location, comfortable rooms. The staff has been super friendly. Breakfast was good. Indoor pool is on the small side.

We just arrived and the entry towards the front desk has large green plants. Real ones. I have asthma and I can feel the air quality was clear. It might be insignificant for some, but for me, feeling I can breath properly means I can enjoy my stay at The Hilton Garden Inn. Natasha at the reception desk was helpful and accommodating, since my arrival was earlier than the check-in time.

Great place to stay. Well maintained and staff was very friendly. Hilton quality clean rooms and nicely located off the beaten path but next to everything. Shopping centers not far and plenty to do within minutes. Would stay again if we were in the area for sure.

It's a nice small entry area. Clean. Cozy small 3-4 people seating area. Down fall is that the beer was warm.

Conveniently located off of the highway / near other hotels in the vicinity and so far, staff has been very nice. Room we have is obviously dirty though — everything smells foul and the bed shows signs of being slept in / stained / not cleaned prior to us arriving. Hair in the sink and an unkept bathroom / poor cleaning was done in this room. Wouldn’t recommend this location based on the room experience and will likely try another area hotel if we come back in the area.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple times. I like it a lot. The staff is very nice and the buffet in the morning is fine. Room has always been comfortable and not noisy at all.

What a fantastic breakfast. The set up is exceptional. As you go through the line for breakfast the short order cook is right there attending to the food. The food was always hot and the omlette order was taken as you walked through the line and brought out to you in a few minutes. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. More than enough places to plug in your electronics and reliable and fast internet.

If there were an option to put no stars, that would be great. My friends and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend for a birthday trip. We went to a local winery and didn't want to have to worry about driving home afterward. When we were checking out in the morning we realized the keys to our vehicle were missing. Someone had stolen our twenty thousand dollar car. Not only did the hotel not have any cameras and lack compassion in the serious situation but they charged our room an extra 100 dollars for smoking in the room. We did not smoke in the room and on top of it the room had a balcony! Why would we smoke in the room if there was an option to go outside 2 feet away?! When we called about the charge the manager who is very unprofessional and lacks compassion for guest stated she found cigarette butts and refused to refund the charge. Are you kidding?! So not only did we get our car stolen out of your parking lot you then accuse us of smoking in the hotel and decide you want to charge us even more for our stay from hell. We will NEVER be back. Word of mouth is a powerful thing I will make sure no one I know will ever be staying at this hotel.

Great place, rooms very clean & comfortable. Hotel is modern & has good amenities albeit somewhat expensive, $11.95 for breakfast. Staff were very nice & accommodating. Overall a great experience & off the beaten path from Rt. 75. Customer service was very understanding of our service dogs.

Would have given 4 stars if we were not woken up at 3:30am to the sound of a fire alarm and rushed outside to evacuate in — 1 degree weather. Now we are all sitting in the lobby and none of us have any idea what’s going on, are freezing cold, and are not receiving any kind of explanation as to what the problem is. Hoping that they grant us a full refund. All we want to do is go back to sleep!

The staff are super thoughtful. For example: it was cold, so to help people warm up, there was a hot chocolate bar by check-in. They could have gotten away with just mixing some Swiss Miss and leaving some marshmallows, and people would have been pleased just to be able to warm up… but that wasn't enough for these guys. The hot chocolate was hand mixed from steamed milk and real cocoa, and each batch was subtly flavored a little different from the last — one was lightly cinnamoned, another had a hint of vanilla, a third was a rich German chocolate. Little things like that take an experience from "good enough" to "memorable. " We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful hotel. Front staff seems to genuinely care and welcome guests like they are family. Rooms are great, clean, up dated. Love the facilities. The breakfast restaurant is great. The made to order items come out fresh, well prepared and super tasty. Not a huge fan of the coffee… But the wonderful reelection of juices and such made me forget about it. Great place to spend some time.

Got a room for one night before an early departure out of Bradly the next morning. The hotel is very well decorated and modern looking. Friendly and helpful service at the front desk. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully updated. I was actually shocked at how many channels the TV got also. Delicious cookies and coffee in the lobby and a restaurant downstairs. Kudos to the Hilton Garden for a great experience albeit short stay. I honestly wanted to stay another night p. S. Right down the road was Tunxis Grill & Pizza. Great spot for a pizza and some beer. Everything that I saw come out looked really good.

The beds are comfortable but very small for two adults. Hotel is super loud and unfortunately our AC unit was loud too. Hotel is clean and front desk staff is nice.

Decent, but I had expected more from a brand tied to the Hilton name. No sheets on the pull out bed, despite specific calls to ensure so.

Location is right off the interstate and close to the airport. Room is nice, clean and has everything but a kitchen. Haven't used room service but the barstaff were very nice.

The hotel is so clean and well maintained. The staff is so courteous and helpful. The rooms AMAZING. I would definitely come back.

Very friendly, clean and easy place to commute to and from. Located right off of Interstate 91just north of Hartford and 15 drive from Springfield. Great for travers and business ppl.

Comfortable bed with a variety of different pillows, flat, full so one can choose which one fits best. Did have so noisy people on this floor with someone leaving an empty beer bottle outside my door, kicked it over when I left for day. They were not loud all night but did wake me up three times. Wish restaurant and bar opened earlier both A. M. And P. M.

I recently attended a training session in one of the conference rooms. The hotel was very easy to locate, right off the highway. The hotel was clean and the staff was very attentive. The trainers even had good comments about the hotel staff and the hotel food. My only comment is that the tile in the men's room was somewhat slippery.

Very poor, booked a room with 2 double beds, beds are barely 46" wide. Double beds are 54 " wide. Front desk said they would speak to manager in morning. Great, after one of us sleeps on floor and we've left.

Clean and comfortable. Extremely helpful front desk staff. Rooms were clean and well kept. Close to the airport and downtown. Excellent value.

Great staff. Shuttle will take you almost anywhere within a short distance of the hotel at a moment's notice. Restaurant is good with ok prices.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Room service was quick and the food was satisfying. The hotel shuttle is always late! DO NOT DEPEND on the hotel shuttle it is unreliable, They were late or completely forgot to pick me twice and we were 30 minutes late leaving for the airport because they couldn't find the driver.

Everything was really nice. Breakfast is a bit pricey though.

Spacious king size room and great customer service.

The room was nice and comfortable the pool refreshing and the hot tub soothing my only complaint is the coffee station in the room the napkin stir stick and only 1 sugar packet was insufficient.

I love this hotel great place to get away my family held their reunion there in 2014 and the hotel staff did an awesome outstanding job. I have come back 3 times since then just for a relaxing getaways. The food is awesome the price is great and the rooms /beds are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Didn't find the bed pillows very comfortable. Everything else was great.

A great hotel with clean rooms, a nice restaurant downstairs, and wonderful service from the hotel staff. It's located near the airport which was helpful for me since I had an early AM flight. I worked in West Hartford and it took me about 20-30 minutes to go into work daily but definitely worth it considering how nice the property is. I will definitely stay there again.
