Husband and I went through an adoption and did not know at all what to expect. Ended up staying here for about 2 1/2 weeks! Ryan, the manager, along with his assistant manager Charles, has both assisted so much in everything and all the struggles and surprises that came our way. Their team and staff was also tremendously helpful! They made our stay the best it can be — before baby arrived, and especially and definitely when baby arrived! Thanks guys for everything!

Probably my favorite Hampton Inn of all the locations I've stayed at. Great staff caters to your needs while staying there and the front desk helps you out when your reservation has problems. Quiet rooms and great breakfast, make sure you add it to your package while staying there. Highly recommend this location… right next to a Chili's restaurant too.

The room was very large, clean and very comfortable. The staff was polite and efficient. The free breakfast was much better than standard hotel breakfast fare — not over the top, but substantial and quite tasty. I will definitely choose Hampton next time I have the opportunity.

Conveniently located. The rooms were fantastic, clean, and well prepped. The staff was exceptionally outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. I would not hesitate to stay there again and I would recommend others to do so as well.

Room was very clean and neat. The staff was very professional and exceptionally courteous and friendly. Any requests were acknowledged and accomodated almost immediately with big smiles and a great attitude. Breakfast was delicious, ac was cold and coffee was always hot and fresh. My stay here was better than some of the more expensive hotels I've stayed in and I will DEFINITELY return.

Clean great staff the pool and rooms were nice and clean with beautiful views. The free breakfast was great. They also served coffee and snacks all day long in the lobby. The water in the pool was a great temperature. The hot tub was great too. The price was great for all the amenities it has. This hotel is 5 star…

Very nice hotel, we stay every time we visit family in New Milford. It's a quick drive from town. Danbury is nice also, visit the mall while in town. The hotel is clean and modern, and the staff is probably the most friendly Hampton staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Very accommodating and made us feel right at home. Thanks Hampton!

Easy on and off the highway. Located just behind 2 restaurants which is convenient for tired lazy travellers like us. Hotel was quiet — no road noise.

Dece place, a bit of a third home. Enjoy the beds, but not being about to open the window for air is a weakness. As is the quality of the shower, plus quite hard water. Cheers,

Staff was friendly, but their bridal suites are really small. Rooms are okay. They also do free breakfast. There are better options in the area for the same price.

It was a place where we did a thing. Times were had as a result. It was a time that was neither worth remembering or forgetting, but rather left to the aether of existence. Waffles were good.

Pretty on par with this level of Hilton hotel. Nothing too crazy to shout about, but also no complaining. Staff is friendly, breakfast is adequate (pretty standard) and room was clean.

Room was nice, staff was friendly, and hot tub warm and welcoming… but the pool itself was unheated, and the continental breakfast was poorly organized.

The hotel was recently renovated, so we found it to be relaxing. Nice room, comfortable bed and a ginormous bathroom, which we loved. The breakfast was a big cut above most chain hotels. They had a delicious quiche made with cheese, spinach, shredded carrot and zucchini + potatoes and kielbasa+ delicious coffee.

Good location. Hotel is clean and pleasant atmosphere. Enjoy the complimentary beverages all day and the morning breakfast.

Excellent place to stay. Stated as a 2 star hotel, but far more like a 4 star! Excellent staff, choice of smoking or nonsmoking rooms, gorgeous, clean, beautiful rooms and bathrooms! This place is a gem! This is def going to be my new getaway spot!

This is a very solid brand with extremely comfortable bedding and a decent breakfast set-up. We always stay here when visiting family. I'm pretty sure that all of the rooms have fridges now and they do have microwaves available, which is very convenient. The pool area can get very crowded if the hotel is on the full side; the pool itself is tiny and shallow and the hot tub gets "intimate" quickly. I didn't ask what happened to the afternoon cookies that they used to set out. At least there are always hot beverages available in the lobby.

We have stayed at this Hotel several times. The room was very clean, the staff are awesome and breakfast is always great!

Love this place. I stay here every time I visit. The staff is wonderfully hospitable. The breakfast buffet is 'over the top'rooms are freshly redecorated.

Feels like a newer Hampton. Great rooms with several restaurants within walking distance. Definitely a great choice if you're staying near Danbury!

The hotel is great. Lots of places to eat and nice mall nearby. Like the fact they had a lounge chaise in room so I can be comfortable while doing my work on the computer.

Everything was clean, but very few amenities. Location is decent with easy access to restaurants and stores. Wi-fi was horrible. Stayed for 3 nights, staff was helpful, but I couldn't get work done because of the internet connection being so poor.

Jordan at the front desk is super nice and professional. The Houseman was also very helpful. I think his name was Juan.

Very friendly service upon arrival, clean room, pool and hot tub was clean area, breakfast in the morning was good. Defiantly will be staying here again. Stayed here while was visiting the Elephant Trunk Flea Market.

Our room was clean, neat and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and worked hard to make the guests stay pleasant, especially the poor woman who was attempting to keep the breakfast lobby stocked and clean seemingly by herself — a Herculean task! She did a wonderful job, but the breakfast area can best be described as 'controlled chaos'. They have both ends of the alcove open without any indications that one way should be 'in' and the other 'out', leading to people piling in from both directions and crowding in the middle where the single waffle iron is located. The whole thing is terribly laid out. Aside from that my own real complaints are that there is no mini-fridge in the room, and the complimentary Wi-Fi is basically dial-up speed. They obviously want you to pay for the REAL Wi-Fi, but it's seriously bush-league to advertise complimentary Wi-Fi and then intentionally cap it so it's almost unusable while advertising decent Wi-Fi for extra $$$. Having said all the above, we will most likely stay here again the next time we're in Danbury.

My stay was a total disaster. In the last 12 years, I have spent from one to two weeks each year in Danbury visiting family. While I was not dissatisfied with the other properties I stayed at over the last several years my son recommended this property since it was closer to his home in Danbury. • Friday morning: The breakfast bar was not useable. There were so many people with “tour or youth groups” present the young lady taking care of the bar could not keep up. She was working as hard as possible; however, it appears management did not adequately staff for the number of people using the bar. • Saturday morning: My wife and I went to the Denney’s nearby for breakfast. • Sunday morning: Before Church we could not even get in the door. After Church we waiting for a table to open before we went through the line. Again, the single attendee could not keep up with the demand. • Monday morning: Tired to exchange towels and wash clothes with housekeeping to support the “green effort;” however, she could not understand our request. Finally handed her two towels and two wash clothes and she replaced. • Monday night: Mentioned to my wife it appeared a landscaping crew had spread mulch during the day between the sidewalk and parking lot. • Tuesday morning: At 5:15 a large truck was making deliveries. The hydraulic lift made a very loud crashing sound as it contacted the pavement. This noise occurred several times. • Tuesday morning: My vehicle was covered with mulch and dirt.

Very pleasant to stay her the staff was great rooms were very clean breakfast was wonderful I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Of all of the Hampton Inns where we have stayed in all of our travels this inn ranked with some of the worst. Our room was small in comparison with others but satisfactory for a one night stay. The gym was excellent in comparison and breakfast was fine except for the watered down orange juice. What follows is a list of our complaints: The room was crowded with a lounging chair that was too big for the space allowed. The shower/tub filled with water while showering with the drain open. The heating unit, while being one of the quietest, blew cold air on the bed closest to the unit. The extra blanket provided was not properly stowed and not folded. Also, it would have been nice to have two blankets available. Particularly, because the duvets were much to heavy for the temperature at the time. In summary, this was one of our most disappointed inns of all of the many Hampton Inns that we have patronized.

I was travelling thru town and spend the night. The staff was courteous and attentive. The room was clean with a complimentary newspaper in the morning. The breakfast was enough to get me started and overall I had a nice stay.

I would have rated this hotel as marginal, except towards the end, my experience became quite unpleasant, especially after check out. Overall, the facility was somewhat clean, my room could have been cleaner. The laundry facility had poor ventilation and any time a dryer was in use, the entire room steamed up, it was absolutely disgusting. The front desk staff was often times less than helpful. However, the biggest problem I had with Hampton and staff came after I had checked out. I travel quite frequently for work, and in this particular case, was staying at the Hapton in Danbury for work. Whenever our work group travels, the hotel arrangements are made ahead of time and PRE PAID by our company. The room reservation, all charges, all taken care of by our company and finalized before check in. I arrived at The Hampton Inn, checked in, made sure they knew the company name and who I was, and seemed to have no issues as far as arrangements. I checked out roughly two weeks later. At check out, I handed the morning desk clerk my room key and asked if there was anything the hotel required of me. I received a "no, you're all set. ". One day later, I see the hotel, unbeknownst to me, charged me nearly $1000 dollars that was supposed to be billed directly to our company. I immediately called the hotel and the clerk on duty was less than helpful, and very dissmissive. I informed her that there was a major mistake and that Hampton needed to double check the arrangements.

02-23-12-I was at this hotel for 3 nights and had the most wonderfull stay. The rooms was spotless, breakfast was amazing and the staff was great. The front desk staff was so great allways helpfull and went out of their way to make my stay a great one. The best CS I have experienced in a long time I will be staying there on all my trips to the danbury area from now on A-1 hotel! Jim A. My stay date-02-20-12.

BED BUGS! BED BUGS! BED BUGS! I stayed here in January of 2011 and had bed bugs in my bed. In all I had over 70 bites. My big problem with the incident was that the managers and owners did not abide by the 100% Hampton Guarantee and have tried to minimize the problem ever since. To this day they still refuse to refund the unsatisfactory, and deeply traumatizing stay saying that the fact that they paid for dry cleaning was compensation enough. But what about the clothes and bags that I had to replace? What about the time replacing them? Not to mention, the sleepless nights afterward? I've been dealing with the management and ownership (this is apparently a franchised Hampton) ever since and they have dragged their feet and been extremely unpleasant and have felt no remorse. Because I didn't want to harm their reputation, I have held off reporting them (as you should with any establishment that has bed bugs). But after the rigmarole I've been through, I no longer feel any sympathy and am writing the truth. The sad thing is that this was not the first incident of bed bugs I had heard of at the hotel. 5 or 6 of my coworkers who had stayed here refused to come back after getting bitten a few times. I regret not believing them.
