Rooms were very clean and service was excellent.

When we booked we where told it was a king bed in the room. We got there it was 2 queen. The mattresses where as had as cement and the shower did not work. We will never stay there again.

It was a good hotel for the price. If you're looking for a basic hotel room this is great. Nothing fancy. It was quiet at night. Convenient from the highway. If you're looking for all the amenities this probably isn't it but if you just need a convenient stopover this is fine.

Overall, a good hotel. Happy that we could bring our dog! No problems at all.

The beds were nice. But for the price I wouldn't stay again. The walls are paper thin. I got woken up by a screaming family with a sick child. The diner across the street was busy but not good. Burnt our omelets. If its an emergency, stay. Otherwise, move on.

Was doing an extended stay was there for a month or so there were Bedbugs in room 107 and they told us to leave when we said something and accused us of bringing them. We didnt have bedbugs and still don't a year later! we called board of health and they have several complaints about it The days inn across the street isnt much better Spend the extra $ and stay at the hampton inn in danbury.

Office & cleaning people where very nice & accommodating.

Place doesn't even deserve 1 on ratings. Breakfast is not alot of choice. Mold smelling & all around. Last but not least. Bed bugs. 2 of my family members are covered in bites from them. Started 1st nite stay @ this dump. Dr's knew it was some kinda bug bite. I researched the Web like mad for answers. All the signs added up. Sure enough board of health even confirmed them from call made & going to see them upon request. Head boards in room had old / new fecal matter & bugs all over em. We got told we brought them in. Also we had to leave due to complaining.

Nothing. They got a case of bed bugs.

Only issues: safe batteries needed replacing, they got right on it, alarm clock died completely, they gave brand new one, you can hear the person above you. But otherwise I think it is because they're stomping. They will give you extra pillows, towels, coffee for your in room coffee maker, don't be afraid to ask! They do make the beds and put fresh towels daily!

Excellent cleaning, very comfortable bed, clean towels these pillows mmmmm … very safe area and close to a target and mexican food. What you need to rest and be able to carry out your plans.

Stayed here for one night, and I have no complaints. The first room we were put in smelled moldy / musty, but we were moved to a room upstairs that was much much nicer. The sink fixture in the bathroom needed repair and the air conditioner controls were a little goofy, but the room was comfortable and clean. The front-desk staff was super friendly and accommodating, so some points are won there! Not perfect, but for $75 / night I feel it was a good value.

The hotel is absolutely the worst I have ever seen. When you get inside of the hotel, you feel like it was in the18th century ganster-infested wild open west. The persons in the front desk were rude, filthy, making you wonder whether these are the ugliest creatures dumped on earth to punish human-beings. They acted as if they were doing some kinds of favors to the customers to let them stay in their filthy hotel. The front room is small, filthy, smelly, and moldy. The ugly woman in the front desk threatened to deny us a room because we booked online rather than through her hotel to pay a higher price. She demanded that we had to wait outside of the hotel at mid night in a very cold early spring day. We were so upset that we cancelled the reservation and drove 2 blocks further to stay in Microtel, a very nice friendly hotel.

If there is a hotel or hotel location I would avoid, it is this one. Now I've stayed in some pretty terrible hotels in my time, but honestly, my stay in room 117 at the Howard Johnson in Bethel, CT on April 5th takes the cake. 1. There was no iron in the room (but an ironing board) as promised. 2. The liner in the ice bucket did not fit 3. Temperature controls did not work. 4. Room was almost ice cold. 5. Bed was rock hard to the point where the ground outside would be softer. 6. "Blanket" was essentially just a second sheet made of paper thin wool or something. 7. No additional blankets. 8. No additional information for food. I got no dinner. 9. Website and chain promises breakfast. None is available. 10. Front desk promises juice in the morning but access to juice machines in office, but office is locked so you can't get to them (at least by 8am when I checked out). 11. No vending machines on site beyond a single pepsi machine. In fact the only positive thing in my experience was the presence as promised of Wi-Fi. I actually WAS able to turn on my laptop at 2am (since I was ice cold and had no blanket to speak of and the bed was rock hard, sleeping was impossible) and check my email. So for over $80 what did I get? Wi-fi! But was cold and hungary and didn't get any sleep. This despite the fact that my job is extremely busy and I came to the Howard Johnson EXHAUSTED. I should have been able to sleep under almost any condition.
