Hotel manager was extremely rude. Room had ants in it, and hotel manager called us a liar when we reported it to him. Made very rude comments and told us to never come back.

Awesome staff! Everything was great! No complaints. Would be better if this covid was not so rampid. But the sack breakfast was not bad at all. Enough to fill ya up!

We found an empty half gallon milk jug and a dirty phone case. When I brought it to the front desks attention, I was told I’d be refunded and could leave. I explained I didn’t necessarily want to leave. I just wanted it brought to their attention, especially with the COVID. I was then told I didn’t have an option. We were being kicked out. All because I nicely told them there was a dirty milk jug and phone case under our bed. When asked if he kicks everyone out that complains he said yes. I have contacted the news and plan to get the word out. We were treated very unfairly.

Hotel was out of power and we drove over 9.5 hours to our scheduled room, I feel we shouldn’t have been charged the full price of the first night since they were without power. And no AC at all. We were told it was partial power but I don’t know. Motel 6 next door had power. Wish we would have been giving a partial refund. We were extremely tired and got charged $240.90 for two nights with our two dogs. The hotel was good other than that first day inconvenience. We stayed this past Friday-Sunday morning.

It’s a great place to recharge after a long day of driving. It sits just at the right crossroads.

All in all it was good a group of 9 of us had reserved a total of 4 rooms total and requested we have them close to each other. 2 of the 3 rooms we needed firsot were ready and we were offered another room on a different floor at the same time as the other check in we declined and there was a room ready in the 20 minutes. No big deal on that as we were offered a room we chose to wait. Pool was nice, water was a little hotter than expected but not unbearable. Rooms seem updated and we're good. No complaints at all, just nothing that made staying at a 2star hotel a 5 star experience. Would I stay at this location again most likely price felt a little high but seems comparable to others in the area.

Not the best Best Western I've been in but not the worst either. Oldish decor, fitness center needs some help and there's no hot tub but the man at the front desk is super helpful… sorry, I didn't get your name. I didn't get in the pool, no bathing suit, but I did feel the water temp and was wishing I had brought a suit! I'm hoping for a decent breakfast in the morning. It looks like it's going to be pancakes, eggs and sausage with the usual assorted breads but I can't attest to that… yet.

If I could give this hotel NO STARS I would! We booked our family reunion here & it was a TERRIBLE experience! The first thing we noticed when we arrived was the air being out in the lobby. Several of the rooms were not cleaned during our stay, the air was stuffy & it made it hard to get the temperature correct in the rooms, & several of my family members had odors in their room. The breakfast was broken down 30 minutes prior to the actual posted time which resulted in us leaving to eat elsewhere. That wouldn't have been so bad if the staff over breakfast wasn't so rude about it. Overall, my entire family was disappointed with the stay. Dirty rooms, towels not changed, beds not done… just awful! We will not be returning. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Usually stop here during our trips to Illinois. Beds are comfortable. Curtains do not close all the way, always have a slight gap. We use one of their coat hangers to clip it closed. Staff is always friendly, especially the woman supervising the dining area. Breakfast is always great.

Wonderful stay for our family of four! Breakfast was outstanding with eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, pastries, yogurt, cereal, and more! Rooms were very spacious with really comfortable beds. Staff was professional & very friendly. Excellent place! **** UPDATE**** staying again and even better the second time around. These people know how to make a guest welcome. I am not sure why this says 2 star hotel because it is WAY more. Excellent place to stay for my family and I.

Hotel was dirty. Receptionist was rude. I asked him where our room was and he said at the other end and pointed. So I went to ask if there was a door down there and before I could finish my question he said in a rude and condescending tone "the door is down there! " So I grabbed my room key and we moved the car down to the other side. Apparently there is only 1 older elevator on the opposite side of where we were and no luggage carts so we had to carry all our stuff back across the hotel. Nomally it wouldn't be an issue but we are a family of 5 and had just traveled from the Gulf of Mexico so we were bringing up our car top luggage bag with all our stuff. Every other Best Western I have stayed at always tells you where your room is, where breakfast is served, and where the elevators are located. I am a Best Western Rewards member and I have never had an issue staying at a Best Western before this. Would not recommend this particular Best Western.

Clean place and the staff was very nice! Beds are an ok comfy level… A little firm for me, but not for my hub. We've never had a bad experience at any Best Western we've stayed at. We are former Embassy Suits peeps and only started staying with Best Western over the past 2 years because we now travel with our aging dog of which they are very accepting.

We stayed a few nights while in town visiting family and friends. I would give them a 5 but there were a few cosmetic things in the room that need attention. But it was well worth the value. I would have no problems staying for multiple days again. Great breakfast, had a sign up stating they offered gluten free and non dairy choices as well! Staff were all friendly and made sure our stay was good!

Served its purpose. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We traveled with our two boys 5 and 11 who are both mildly autistic. Had a wonderful time at the pool with them. Several places to eat near by and some convenient stores to pick up a couple of things.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Average, typical hotel breakfast. Not all exterior common area doors lock where your electronic room card would normally be required. I hope they fix that. Lobby and hallways could use some updating. Staff was friendly and efficient.

This hotel was great for an overnight stay while traveling. Our room was spacious and clean, and my daughter was able to swim in the late evening, following our arrival.

Night personnel very polite, day desk personnel, NO PR skills at all. Found an additional $15.00 fee for pets on my bill, asked about that because night desk gave me price with pet that was less. Day desk pointed and said there is s sign over there on the wall showing fee. Asked if suppose to be hair dryer in room because not one her answer, “a shipment came in yesterday I guess they just did not get to your room. ” No offer for adjustment of any kind for SUPPOSED misquote by night desk or for no hair dryer. Just traveled cross country from Georgia, to New York, to Canada, now to Missouri and in comparison to other hotel room cost this one has been the poorest, towels and bedding rough to touch, however it was clean to all appearances.

Very nice hotel especially for the money. The night attendant was awesome. I called and told him we wouldn’t be there until 4 am. When we arrived he had everything ready and check in was quick! The hotel room was nice and very quiet.

We needed a last minute place to stay and called ahead looking for the right hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with a great room, well kept indoor pool and a great breakfast in the morning! Great location right off of I 55.

Special touches: make up remover, bagged "clean" TV remote, nice size refrigerator in room, two complimentary water bottles, best breakfast at this location (waffles w/ fruit toppings, two types of eggs, sausage, yogurts, gluten/dairy free soy milk option, oatmeal, walnut and brown suger toppings, juices, coffee, tea variety, pool, small workout room but w/ two Samsung TV's. Great staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We stopped to break up our 19 hour trip. Thankful we chose this place last minute. 4.5/5.0 for a 3 Star Hotel.

Got here late parking lot was full and I'm in a 24 ft box truck. Manager came out told me were to park very helpful. Place is very clean.

I was traveling from Alabama to North Dakota and me and my children loved our stay. From the room, pool, and breakfast bar everything was awesome… We will be coming again if we are in the area…

Place is just OK. Unlikely that I would return here. Bathroom is dated and worn. Decor looks cheap and tired. Certainly nothing special. I will say that our king room with sofabed was quite large, though I believe it was an accessible room.

The recent renovation makes this an affordable place to stay overnight that has quality. The rooms are much better, renovated with hardwood floors after they scrapped the carpet. The rooms are huge… with almost no furniture. No dresser was in the room. No refrigerator or microwave which is becoming somewhat of a standard in motels these days. The nightstand looked like it was bought at a Hobbit sale. However, the manager was great and even friendly at check-in, the cleanliness was welcome, and the Internet worked great and was free. For the low cost of the rooms, I would definitely tell anyone to go there, as there is no better value to be had in the area for a place to stay overnight.

Friendly staff, nice rooms and a fairly decent pool/area. I was a little disappointed when I confronted the clerk that we were supposed to have two queen beds and the ones they provided were clearly not. Maybe (twins) I asked her and they said that's what the Queen's are. Overall a decent stay on our six night stay in Best Western's going state to state.

The location is just off interstate 55 and convenient. We had a room with a king bed. It was comfortable but the sheets were not soft, at all. The breakfast bar was nice. The staff was friendly and anxious to meet our needs. It's an older building and recently under new management. They seem to be working hard to make it a nice place.

Room was clean, coffee was fresh, heater worked, bed wasn’t mine so I can’t rank it fair, staff were great! No complaints from me!

We were on the second floor. The pool was very nice according to the kids. We had one issue with our neighbors complaining about my PTSD service dog barking while we were gone to eat. The staff in the front handled it very well and professionally. Breakfast was very hot and delicious every morning. The staff who handled it was always working hard to help everyone.

We have stayed at this hotel twice in the same week. Both times the rooms were clean and the breakfast was above average. I would definitely stay here again!

It is an ok property. I was expecting more from a BW "Plus" as I have stayed at others that were much more upscale. This is a simply a regular Best Western with a "Plus" added to the name. No real issues (other than the front desk employee being far less-than-cordial at check-in) — I was simply under-whelmed.

Great hotel … clean, safe and looks new; good breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee is always brewing and fresh. Hotel right off the I-55 however your GPS will get you there the long way. I'm booking there again in the near future.

This property was a convenient location for us. We travel on business in an RV and there was parking available for the RV which was great. The staff was friendly.

Very convenient location. Big refrigerator in room. Extremely helpful staff and a good breakfast. The previous night I had been in an extremely expensive fancy-name hotel in a different town; but the room wasn't any better than at this Best Western. In fact, the fancy hotel had some mechanical problems with plumbing, etc. And they changed extra for everything, even the water. Seeing a couple of complimentary bottles sitting on the desk when I came in the room at Sikeston put me in an instant good mood. Will rebook here in the future.

Exterior of the hotel was nice… looked to be very well maintained. The desk clerk indicated that the hotel hab been renovated in the last 2 or 3 years. The room wa comfortable, however, the workmanship in the bathroom was a bit careless. Floor molding was falling off and the shower head was small. Water pressure was EXCELLENT! Overall we would stay there again if we were stopping in Sikeston again.

In the big scheme of things this hotel is just average. Not the nicest in town, but not the worst. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. It has an indoor pool and a decent workout area, free breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Non-smoking, and they even allow pets, if that's something you need. Unfortunately, the hallway perpetually smelled like wet towels, and one night, the air conditioning seemed to cut out, causing my room to also smell musty and damp. The real problem here is that for $20 more, you can stay at the Drury Inn across the highway, where dinner and three alcoholic beverages are included with your stay. They even have soda and popcorn available on check in, and the carpet definitely. Didn't smell one bit musty. The hotel is overall a better value. Highly recommended.

We stayed here after our house burned and they all were nothing but great to us! The breakfast each morning they offer is great, the place was kept clean and the staff is wonderful! Highly recommend.

The staff at the hotel were great! Fun & met all of needs. We had a large rowdy group & they handled us well! The beds were comfy & the breakfast was good.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside. The lobby to the breakfast area to the rooms. The paint and everything is so beautiful. The new front desk employee was great and polite with the help of the front desk supervisor. I feel the rate was right on point. Only thing I can say since I am a GM for a Best Western in Fallschurch VA, but moving to Colorado is that the housekeepers need to focus on more details. The stuff that gets used mostly. Door handles, the fridge, bathroom area. The room was beautiful and clean, but the fridge was dirty on the inside with something sticky and it had pee on the side of the toilet. The bed skirt was ripped and there was a stain on the ceiling. Needless to say, I don't mind it because it obviously shows the owner values this place and puts the money into this establishment. I understand hsk has a set time to clean a room etc. People make mistakes but reviews help these mistakes because without a review, they wouldn't know how to fix it before the next guest sees it. The room smelled clean. No mildew or smoke smell. Loved how the lobby didn't smell like smoke and was bright and cheerful/inviting. Only thing in the hallways that I would say that would be helpful in the stairwells is A/C because it's hot. Also door stoppers in the doors because they shut hard and loud at night. Overall, I would definitely stay again and recommend this place to anyone with kids or without.

Great Hotel! We always stop in Sikeston on our return trip from Michigan to Louisiana as its a good stopping point. Pleased to see BW Plus is every bit as good as this locations predecessor HI Express. Rooms were clean, staff was pleasant and breakfast was awesome. And price was best in Sikeston for the value.

I am giving this location a 5 star rating not on the physical property or location (although is was good) but on the customer service. I interacted with many of the hotel staff during our stay and everyone of them from Renae & Jason at the front desk to the housekeeping staff were extremely helpful and made sure we had the best stay would could have. The entire hotel was very clean and presented nicely. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The breakfast biscuits an gravy were very tasty. The eggs as most hotel eggs do left a bit to be desired, but overall for a breakfast that is included with the room it did the trick. Its an older property but they have taken care of it and it shows. If in this area again we would stay here.

This is a very comfortable hotel for the price. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and competent. Note that the AC requires a very low setting to get a cool night's sleep. I recommend 62 deg. To get an actual 70 deg. Temperature. A hot breakfast with good coffee is included. The Wi-Fi works fine in the room or common areas. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The decor is standard hotel fare with a bedspread and not down comforters. I find those comforters too hot for the summer anyway. It is convenient to the interstate for travelers.

Removing a star, because the picture on Google is NOT what the hotel actually looks like. I have stayed here twice and have had good experiences both times. The front desk staff is always incredibly friendly. They have a good breakfast selection. They are pet friendly, which is a huge bonus. They have grass all around the building, so plenty of places for your dog to take a walk. The rooms were clean and nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Sikeston.

When we got there out room was not even cleaned. There was a note on the bed that said bed is clean but needs a bed skirt. All of our pillows were tossed in the chair in the room and so was the bed skirt. I went to make coffee and the inside of the coffee maker wasn't clean so I cleaned it. Then made coffee only to find the lids were to small. I then got in the shower and that was not clean either! It was like one thing after the next. The room was 85$ on sale and I wouldn't have paid half that.

The first room we checked into was filthy and had a used condom behind the bed. We were goven another room that was adequate for the night, but I wouldn't have stayed beyond that. The shower/tub in our second room was moldy and the drain was dirty. The breakfast left much to be desired. The woman running the breakfast was very friendly though and chatted with everyone in the dining area. I felt a little guilty for not enjoying it more because she was attentive and seemed to take pride in her work.

Did a nice remodel a couple years ago. Clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. Breakfast is great. Pool also a plus. Staff have been extremely nice each and every time we have stayed. Great value for the moderate price.

I stopped here the Monday before Thanksgiving. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very friendly and responsive. The only issue for me was the king size bed was hard. I will stay there again when I'm in the area!

We arrived after midnight, the front desk was ready for us signed us right in and gave us our keys. The room was clean. Sheets nice and crisp, pillows nice and fluffy. The breakfast was normal for a hotel… cereal, yogurt, fruit. Make your own waffles. Eggs bacon bagels. Coffee milk and juice, something for everyone. Check out was a breeze, and the receipt was slid under the door early. The cleaning staff was out and cleaning open rooms all were super friendly and took pride in their work. Would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was clean the the personnel was wonderful They went above and beyond normal hotel service as we needed to put our mom in the hospital. Thanks to all who works there.

Despite the high rating, our room had stains on the bed skirt and grout on the bathroom show tile looked like it was moldy. We didn't stay.

It was actually cleaner than I thought it'd be. A few random hairs on the shower wall that definitely weren't mine, to be expected of a 3 star establishment. I have no idea how they can claim it's a non smoking facility when u can clearly smell smoke wafting out from various rooms. Also, there are reeking ashtrays right beside every exterior door and seems pretty much every employee smokes cuz u have to run thru a gauntlet of smoke every time u leave or enter! The bed and bedding was very comfy, tons of pillows. The furniture is useful. Even a microwave and fridge, which is great! Coffee and tea service in room, plenty of towels and toiletries. But no peephole cover and my slide lock didn't work at all! I tried several times to test and attempt to engage it but it was slightly off center from the opposing part it was supposed to connect with, rendering it completely useless. It just slid apart as soon as the door opened. As if this weren't concerning enough, the check-in clerk had mentioned they'd had problems with the exterior back door not working and that it was probably just locked. I tried the door several times, even had to go out to my car at 1 am and every single time it was freely open. It didn't require a key card or anything to enter the building! It was completely open to anyone coming or going. Aside from the safety violations, I probably would have given a higher rating, but as a woman traveling alone or with my child, that's pretty high on my list.

The have a really good breakfast selection. The rooms were really clean and the pool was phenomenal.

Myra who is working tonight, Jan 28th, 2016 at this Best Western is not very helpful and has got the 'I DON'T KNOW' answers to your questions instead of 'hang on and let me find out for you' which should be the appropriate response. My husband travels from Louisiana to Illinois quiet frequently and that is always he's first stop for the evening but tonight thanks to 'I DON'T KNOW', he will be staying at the Drury Motel/Hotel across the interstate and maybe not just tonight but from now on! We usually get GREAT service but not tonight.

I was there November 25, 2015 and the hotel staff was very professional, the rooms were nice and very clean. The heated indoor pool was nice and relaxing. Owe and kudos to Mr. Katarious for making our stay pleasant. I will definitely be going back. Thanks again! S. Smith.

Its a good stop over but not a good area for hoiladays or eating out.

This was a clean hotel with friendly service. It was newly renovated, which was great.

I stay here about once a month or so. I won't go anywhere else. Staff is always very friendly. Rooms are nice, and breakfast is perfect for traveling. I highly recommend this hotel. And Lamberts cafe is right down the road.

Renovated! Great staff! Room was nice. This place has made me rethink staying at Holiday Inn Express. I'll come back any time I'm in the area.
