Lovely “boutique” property. My second stay. Close to much to do. Yes — a Corporate hotel — and yet — a small, intimate feel in the heart of St Louis, literally in the shadow of the Arch. Many agreeable places walking distance.
Decent sized regular rooms. Full buffet breakfast. Former bank with Historic charm.

Brendan provided exceptional hospitality when I checked in. He was really helpful explaining parking and recommend great restaurants.
My room was clean and nice. The waitress in the restaurant was super sweet and the food was very good.

Comfortable downtown hotel close to the arch, great service.

I would stat here again. It is good as long as you don't expect the typical good American service. The girl at the bar was excellent! Everyone else — okay or ordinary.
The hotel was very cheap for a 4 star hotel in St Louis but the restaurant was closed, room service menu only (at the bar or in the room). There is a Thai restaurant across the road and an Irish restaurant up the road.

Front desk staff is very unhelpful. Soda machine on my floor has a sign that it'll be operational on the 20th today's the 22nd still doesn't work. I remember when you booked at the Hilton they treated you like you were somebody now they treat me like scum.

We called to let them know we would be arriving after 12am and when we got there all the doors were locked and no one was downstairs to let us in the hotel. We rang the bell twice and then proceeded to wait on the street with 8 other people who were also trying to get in to get their room. We finally got inside when someone left the hotel and opened the door for us. It then took 25 minutes to check us in and we didn’t get a parking card and had to come back in and ask after the nice security guard helped us with instructions. The room was comfy but there was black mold on the shower curtain. Needless to say at 1 am we were tired and annoyed and the service was terrible. I felt bad for the group of airline attendants that were trying to check in after us. Not what I usually expect from a Hilton.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is great and the bar is a nice ace for a drink or dinner. Getting to the hotel can be a pain with traffic and parking l, even using valet can be tricky. The only negative comment about the hotel is the key card access. You need to use it for the elevator, which isn't so bad, however your key card doesn't open the doors back into the hotel from the stairwell. I was stuck in the stairwell for a few minutes until the staff could come let me back in. Overall it's a great hotel with great rooms.

I am surprised by the number of positive reviews of this hotel. The rooms are dirty with the carpet being plain filthy. The room itself is very small and dated. The air conditioning did not keep room as cool as it should have. The positives were it was relatively inexpensive, good location, and we only stayed there 1 night. Hilton is usually a much better stay than this particular hotel.

Hotel is pleasant and clean. Air conditioner does not work well in my room. 75 constant but set to 65. Rooms are spacious (this is my second stay) and beds comfy. The restaurant is pretty poor. I don't expect much from hotel restaurants but this one is definitely not worth it. Hummus plate came with three tiny strips of carrot, celery that was browning and a pile of pita bread. Beer cheese was fake cheese (not above fake cheese just didn't expect it) and pretzels were very poor excuses. Long logs of poorly cooked pretzel. I was so hungry and had a long day training so I ate anyway. Hotel pantry does not have any healthy options either. So stay for the hotel but skip the food.

Located close to The Arch! If staying in downtown St Louis, I Recommend staying in this hotel. Valet, room service, hospitable, and clean rooms! We enjoyed our stay in summer ‘18. Front desk was very helpful. Loved our stay!

My Fiancée and I stayed there last weekend. We payed for parking that we couldn’t use. (The lot was full). We had to park at Stadium west and pay for parking there. We payed 40 dollars to park there Friday and Saturday night and got charged 54 dollars to park in a lot we couldn’t use. We also didn’t get the room we booked. They were “all booked for the night” so we got put in a room and was charged more than we booked it for. The room we were sent to had a toilet that leaked all over the floor. Needless to say it wasn’t worth the price we payed for it. I don’t think we will ever stay at another Hilton again.

Overpriced and you pay $25 for parking. Plus, I wasn't made aware of a $50 pet fee until I arrived. When I said I'd find somewhere else to stay, I was threatened that I'd still be charged for my stay. I've been a Hilton Honors member for several years and have never paid a pet fee. Some loyalty program for the customer. I'm traveling for the next two weeks and will be staying at La Quintas or Holiday Inns… where the facilities are nice, parking and pets are free, and a good breakfast is included.

It's beautiful and the rooms are nice and clean. My husband and I visited here for our anniversary and everyone was so nice and helpful, we even got free drinks at the bar to celebrate. The bartender was very friendly. Didn't get a chance to try the food but I saw plenty of people eating and raving about. We were told we would have a room with a view but we didn't get that one which is fine because it was very nice and quiet. We slept almost the whole time. They have a parking garage right across from the hotel which is very convenient. You drive over park your car then you can just take the elevator down front the garage and boom you're right at the door to walk across back into the hotel. It was never to busy to cross or park. We were there for presidents day weekend and it was very mellow and beautiful. It was only about a 10 minute walk to the arch from the hotel. Thanks again Hilton St. Louis downtown at the arch!

A nice hotel with good and clean rooms. The breakfast buffet was very pleasant and plentiful. We felt comfortable here. Parking was only possible in the neighboring building was with the luggage was uncomfortable.

Overall the place is REALLY good. I was there for business, but this is a great location for the arch and baseball field. The rooms are modern, but not fully renovated. There is a constant humnonbtheb8th floor, but most don't stay up there. The parking is across the street but they have valet. It's an old bank building and that makes it super interesting. I have been there about 4 times and will be back.

Got a very good price on a room, so we decided to stay in one with a tub, which was excellent. Only complaint is that the TV could have been bigger and newer — I'm getting spoiled by being able to screenshare with smart TVs and the like. Location is very good, but bizarrely almost every restaurant in walking distance aside from the hotel one was closed at 7 on a Saturday? Not the hotel's fault, just a quirk of the area. I wouldn't stay again for the full price, but if I can get another deal I'll be here. The bed was excellent.

We had a room booked this past Saturday night downtown. (We booked this location because it was my birthday & we wanted to be downtown. ) We were there at 3:00 sharp to check in, only to find out they were having A/C problems & did not have a room for us. (We even told them we would stay in the room with no air! ) We also found out they had known about this issue for some time! They sent us to the Hampton at the airport which was over 20 mins away! After all of the hassle & driving, we did not get to go downtown & my birthday was ruined. I WILL NEVER BOOK HERE AGAIN! I highly recommend the HYATT if you are wanting to stay somewhere nice downtown!

Nice! No pool, but hot tub is huge. Clean and comfy. Great location. It's older but still very sharp. We visited the Arch and staying here was easy access.

Beautiful rooms! Loved the tall ceiling! Everyone we encountered was very helpful and super friendly. We especially enjoyed talking with Zach who was making omelettes in the morning.

Closed for renovations until July BUT I know from experience that the arch and the arch museum offer a wonderful historical experience for the whole family. The ride to the top is also lots of fun and you get to meet lots of new interesting people from around the world. We will continue to visit the arch every time we are in Saint Louis!

Great location. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Food is fantastic, had breakfast and dinner. This is the second time I've stayed here. I'll stay here again in the future and have recommended it to others.

I stayed here for a personal trip to explore St. Louis. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I felt very well taken care of and would stay here again the next time I'm in St. Louis. Our room was clean, organized, and well stocked. I got the garden burger from room service and my partner ordered the adult grilled cheese. Both were absolutely delicious and service was fast. I would recommend staying here!

This place is the worst, gave us a discounted rate and then when we got there they told us they would not honor the price and try to make us pay full price. After we declined the full price someone behind us said they would pay the full price when they were full and gave the guy a full price room. We were told we would have to pay for the full night's price when we made the hotel reservation for the discounted price not even 24 hours before hand. We had initially been given a discounted rate for two rooms for two nights, we found out later after we turned down the full price rate that they were charging us for full rate for two rooms. After they had already given the room in front of us to a different group of people. This left me with a pending transaction fee over the weekend of more then 200 dollars, which left me unable to charge anything on to my debit card for the rest of the weekend. When this was the first day of vacation. I am a Hilton points loyalty person and will never be staying at a Hilton again. Also I will be in contact with the better business bureau and have heard from other hotels in the St Louis area that they are known for telling patrons they will give a discounted price and then once the patron checks in they no longer will honor the discounted price offered so they can get the full price for the room. This is terrible customer service and will hinder people from coming back to St Louis for vacations again.

This is a beautiful hotel. I think it was a bank at one time. The room are a little small but that is to be expected in an older building. The linens on my bed were so soft I was in heaven. Really enjoyed my stay. Update* 2.9.18 I stayed again and it was great. The staff is super friendly. Get the room with the giant tub. Its nice.

Cleanliness of the rooms was good. Bathrooms clean and stocked. Check in was easy. The bar was nice, drinks priced about right, the atmosphere was good. The employees were very respectful and helpful. All was well for a day stay.

We stayed for 1 night. It was terrible! The "Manager" doesn't have a freaking clue on what that job title means! Our bed was dirty and had to have new sheets put on at 1:30 am when we got in and ready for bed. I thought cleaning was done at 11 when people check out. Floors are dirty. Corners are nasty. Just a dirty room. This place was top 3 of my worst places I have stayed! Never again.

Rooms were very nice and clean, Not a good view of the Arch as it said on the internet but still a very nice hotel. 1 1/2 walk able distance from the Arch. Close to all the stores and plenty restaurant's wit a indoor 24hr store and banking area. Only thing was if you are driving like most people do, The parking is paid parking like most downtown area parking is. I paid like $30-$50 for 2 nights. Not as bad as Chicago but still. Nice get away. And sorry it's St. Louis so if you are looking for things to do in the area this is not the place for you. The only thing to see is the Arch and a Budweiser factory tour that was awesome.

Hotel lobby is decorative art style, pick high, very beautiful, next to the bar a lot of people in the chat, room has two double beds, windows outside no scenery, is the next building, clean, soap is also made into granular can massage, looks really advanced, very good a restaurant, bed is very comfortable, location is very close to the city!

I forgot to take pictures to show the decor but I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very welcoming and the location was great. Only a block away from Washington Ave and you can see Arch from hotel.

Located in the heart of downtown. Interesting and pretty Lobby looks like it used to be an old bank with the original vault. Clean room and very comfortable bed with excellent pillows. Parking ridiculously high right across the street but not included in the price of the hotel.

Guess I should've read this Facebook page before making our reservations. I prepaid for two premier city view rooms months in advance. The clerk Ali gave us both rooms looking directing into a city parking lot. When questioned about the rooms were informed the hotel was sold out. What lies the lobby, restaurant and hallways were very empty. This was a Monday night. Even in the morning the hotel was empty. He tossed a few water bottles at us. Never check us in properly and double charged us for valet parking. Contacted Hilton Honors customer service. Was told the manager would be in touch with us. Never have heard from him. When checking out both clerks were just as rude. They don't wear name tags so they don't get reported for LOUSY customer service. The only polite employees were the wait staff at the restaurant and valet attendant. During this vacation we stayed at two other Hilton hotels and Marriott. Customer service was top notch. They know how to treat their customers. This hotel we will not be returning and never will recommend them.

Great hotel to go to when you're visiting for work. The room was a little too small for me if I'd book it for vacation. But hey, it was minutes from the ARCH and the lobby food was delicious. The waitresses there are so nice. Shoutout to the Omelet guy!

The location was right downtown, which was great. I wish the parking was at the same location, or that there was a bridge to connect the hotel to the garage to make moving or belongings easier. Otherwise, the experience was great. Our room was right off the elevator, and everything was in working order. Unfortunately, breakfast was not included.

Our experience was exceptional, the staff so friendly. Sherrie was our waitress and she was attentive, kind and helpful… went the extra mile simply because she could. Harold helped us pack our car and again was as kind as can be! Thank you for your service to our country Harold (U. S. Navy)! Charles the manager was equally as wonderful! All the staff along the was whose name I didn't get were pleasant and very friendly. Thank you to all who made our experience what it was!

Sucks… only Hilton I've stayed in with no pool… 300+ Per night. No pool? … no micro wave.?. The fridge was hot… not Coming back… staff was great… brought two boys that wanted to swim…

As much as we paid to stay. The least they could do is offer a continental breakfast. Other than that it was a great place to stay! Walking distance to everything.

Hilton was great! Waitress for breakfast was so accommodating. St. Louis is a scary place. We were stalked by two men walking back to the hotel from the blues festival. Need more police presence!

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. It was somewhat noisy. The are several room doors in the hallway that are close together so we could hear people coming and going from their rooms. Also could hear jets flying over. There was no fan in the bathroom. Location is great. Easily walked to Busch Stadium and the Old Courthouse. Parking was secure.

Quiet, beautiful old building with high ceilings, breakfast buffet is good. It is an old bank building and the vaults are now the convenience shop and business center. Helpful staff too.

Our experience was HORRIBLE! The very first day we checked in… we asked to pay cash since we had taken out the cash for the room. The guy, Al, said that they have to have our card to hold our room and we can pay cash the day we check out. We never thought anything else about it… until we checked out and we paid $501.88 cash and kept copy of detail receipt. When we get home and were checking our bank account, and it is showing us negative $334.09. WHAT?!?! So we get to looking at the charges because we did not use the debit card at all on the trip, that is why we took the cash out for the room and for all our purchases while on the trip. Mind you when I got confirmation after reserving our room, it showed the price as being $378, so where all these other charges are coming from, is beyond me, and they actually charged our debit card $573.88. When we got our things to our room and settled in and I got in the shower to get ready to go out on the town. As I was getting out of the shower and drying off, someone busted through our door. No knock, no warning they were coming in or anything, just busted up in our room as if it were theirs. All I could do is scream as loud as I could. Whoever it was just calmly shut the door. My husband immediately got up and opened the door to see if he saw anyone… nope, nobody in sight anywhere. So, I didn't even put my makeup on or dress up, went straight down stairs and spoke to a nice lady and told her what happened.

Decent location. It says "at the Arch" but… I had a room with a "view of the Arch" and the view was about 20% of the arch only. Also, and I found this odd… visiting in December, on a night that was 32 degrees when I landed, I found the room to be incredibly chilly. The in-room thermostat would only go up to 75 degrees. There was absolutely no way my room was 75 degrees. I keep my own home 72 and this room was definitely 69 degrees at best and I remained chilly any time I was out of bed. All in all, a decent hotel, decent location, well appointed. Not a 5 star though.

I work for the Hilton at 400 Olive it's very historic the rooms are nice the food I give discount on since I work there but other hands it's pretty expensive and plus I love to talk with nice people make you feel welcome.

Very friendly staff although could use more check in staff. Very poor sound insulation — not a quiet hotel in the least. Nice rooms (except for hearing everything). Clean. Decent location if you don't mind walking a little.

Service and rooms were very nice. Overall was a good experience staying here and would happily stay again. Only areas they could improve is parking and showers could use more pressure. TV remote didn't work well but only used it when I woke up the next morning.

They will take care of you. The female bartender is very slow.

Excellent service, prompt valet, though, I asked for extra towels and they never came. I still enjoyed my stay PETERTHOMASROTH Shampoo and Conditioner.

I'm at this hotel now trying to sleep. They gave us a room with no windows and it's next to the elevators. I can actually feel and hear banging and booms from the elevators running. I can't believe they use this room! Use every space available $. I'm thinking about sleeping in my car!

Spent 3 days last weekend and enjoyed the stay. I found the staff very friendly, personable and helpful.

Convenient location and central to major downtown sights. Easy to use check in via app. Room 802 with great room views of the Arch. Lobby restaurant and bar.

The hotel was very nice. The first room I had a loud noise coming from the vent so I asked to receive a new room. My next room was fine, but I had a lot of trouble with the key cards. A few times I had to slide the card multiple times to get in. Parking was a hassle especially when my card to get into the parking garage didn't work.

Great location for lumiere and Busch stadium.

I am currently staying at this hotel for my Bachelorette party. Needless to say, I wish we were staying somewhere else. Since we drove up to the hotel, the 2 staff members at the front desk have been rude every single time I have interacted with them. They act like they could care less about their customers and we are just a nuisance. My family has stayed in Hilton hotels for a very long time. In fact, my mother works for Hilton. We love Hilton, but I did not appreciate this service. I will never stay at this hotel again. This is not how Hilton should do business.

For being a Hilton, it's just ok. We stayed here for Valentines Day, paid extra for the Jacuzzi room, and it is NOT worth it. Jacuzzi tub jets are on the sides of the tub, not the backs, so you don't even feel them. The bathroom was nice and spacious, room was decent and modern. Very clean, quiet. Bar downstairs is in the lobby and there was nothing going on. Unfortunately there was a blizzard the night we were there so we couldn't go out and explore Downtown, so we didn't have a lot to do. It is in a great location, lobby is beautiful, ok fitness room with modern equipment, and a huge whirlpool, the size of small pool. No indoor pool, which is stupid for a Hilton. Overall it was ok, but won't get the jacuzzi tub room again. Maybe a regular room if the price is right.

Though the lobby is phenomenal and the restaurant is beautifully nestled in, but the servers are non-attentive. Most of the time they are busy talking with each other. Our room was located at the front of the hotel giving us a great view of the Arch. However, the room was dusty, the heating unit blew constantly throughout the night at a lower temperature then set! We also encountered a disgruntle room attendant. We asked for needed items, change of bedding, etc thoughout our 8-day stay. She took our tip but didn't complete her cleaning properly. The front desk will do their best to accommodate you but you'll have to stay on top of things.

I stayed here Saturday and they billed me for parking, without my authorization. I had already paid the attendant at the garage when I left the hotel, then saw an additional $19.95 on my credit card. They never even mentioned this or told me they were taking this charge off my card! Mind you the garage only charged me $11.00. This hotel is scamming people right out of their money. When I called I got transferred 3 times to reservations, I got placed on hold for long periods. Front Desk transferred me to Accounting which didn't answer so I had to leave a voice mail. A couple hours later I told them about the charge, accounting stated that I had no proof that I paid for parking in the garage (even though they don't even own the garage). I then had to request to be transferred to a manager, which also did not answer and I had to leave a voice mail. After finally getting another call back, I spoke with the Manager who simply said he would refund my money and speak with the accounting. After everything I went through he didn't seem to care one bit or say anything else. He did NOT even comment on how the charge was never mentioned and just thrown on the bill, and didn't mention how they overcharge for parking and scam the customers. Completely unsatisfied and will NEVER stay at this Hilton location again. Wasted my entire day playing phone tag.

I had my wedding reception in the Laclede ballroom at the Hilton downtown St. Louis last night and it was aaaaamazing! The food was great! The service was fabulous! They made me feel so special and everyone had such a good time! The room was gorgeous and I loved the chandeliers! I'm not boasting guys. It was seriously very, very nice. I definitely recommend this hotel and their services to anyone! Thank you so much for your services Hilton.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Bartenders and servers are great, but this hotel is run down. Reported that the ice machine on my floor wasnt working, but it never got fixed (in 2 weeks). My Coke machine on my floor was out of Diet and Coke Zero for 2 weeks. Any trash that was in my room that wasn't specifically placed in the trash can wasn't thrown away (drycleaning plastic, coke cans, etc). One elevator requires a card and one doesn't (that's reeeeaaallllly annoying after 2 weeks of sometime having to swipe in). $8 service charge on room service (not including tip). Oh and laundry was outragous (a couple hundred bucks). I'm considering switching to another company or at least non-hilton proper after this. Worste hilton experience I've had. Oh, and my coworker had his bathroom flood from the sink 3 times (which he reported), but didn't get fixed. This place is not worth the money. I am a Hilton fan, but it has really been that bad.

For being a Hilton Honors Gold member and staying at many hotels within the system, this was one of the worst experiences. Valet had gone home, we were approached by two homeless men within seconds of pulling up in front of the hotel who were very aggressive, front desk clerk said "just leave your car, I'll park it". Gave us a terrible room because we had a pet — air conditioning poor, room smelled, charged $75 a night for the dog and then $26 to "park". Horrible, Horrible, Horrible — stay somewhere else in St. Louis.
