I don’t like musty smelling rooms. Pretty sure AC filters haven’t been changed in a while. It’s probably fine for some but I travel a lot and like full service hotels and well stocked amenities. This had neither. And the location is definitely not walking distance to the great food eats and drinks of downtown. Not because of distance but for safety would not recommend walking downtown from here in the evening. Will be Ubering. Fitness center is really a room. Three aerobic machines and a bench with free weights. Not ideal if there is more than one person trying to do anything. Rooms are clean enough staff is ok and helpful enough but I won’t be booking here again. Like I said probably fine for most people.

Hotel is exactly what you would think of a Courtyard — is clean and was quiet and pretty good location. Good pool and friendly staff. Bistro was actually better then I expected for breakfast. Was a good stay.

Beautiful lobby and room. Very clean and staff was very polite. Had a great time.

Needed a one night lodging with easy access to highway and specific area in St Louis. The hotel is easy to find with plenty of parking. For a small hotel, I was very pleased with the room and lobby. Staff was attentive and friendly. The Market Grill had a good array of food and drink available. The setting encouraged guests to be friendly or have privacy if they needed it.

The Marriott had great rooms, friendly employees, and ample parking. I only stayed one night, so I didn't get to take advantage of many of the hotel features, but the location was great. We booked a block for our wedding and never got the rewards we should have received from it.

This was a beautiful hotel with a great location. It has a pretty courtyard and an indoor pool. I would have liked to see free parking, but that's pretty much my only complaint.

Very convenient location with access to local attractions. The hotel is close to a freeway allowing quick travel all over the city. The staff is fantastic, and really go above and beyond.

We booked our room through Marriott rewards. We clearly stated our need to accommodate 5 guests. 1 grandma, 1 mom, and 3 children (2 boys and 1 girl). With phone confirmation of two beds and a sofa couch, we trusted that we were good to go. We arrived late in the evening to stay at the courtyard Marriott to find that our reservation had been made for one King size bed. Unfortunately no other rooms were available. We felt it was necessary to find other accommodations. Although we were extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with reservations, Athalie, the sweet lady at the front desk, went above and beyond to help get us into a different hotel for the evening. She made many phone calls to local hotels. She found a room that accommodated us all and smiled the entire time she helped. She most certainly offered wonderful hospitality and is a true asset to this hotel. We appreciated you Miss Athalie!

I stayed in this hotel for seven days while on a recent business trip. The room was clean and there were no issues while staying at the hotel. I rarely eat at hotel restaurants, but I tried dinner at the hotel bistro and was very surprised. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with an arugula and feta cheese salad. The burger was excellent and the salad was very good. If you stay at this hotel, the bistro offers better food than many of the nearby restaurants.

Spent three nights here while at a work conference. The hotel room I was first given had a moldy smell but after informing the front desk, I was promptly moved to another room. Their method for getting breakfast was a bit weird but it was something along the lines of a $15 credit a day but I never utilized that. A continental would have been simpler and better. The location is convenient as it is downtown about a $10 taxi ride from convention center so it sufficed.

Room was pretty basic, but clean. We came in from a wedding at 10:45 p. M. And there must have been a very inconsiderate family with several children next to us. Fighting, crying, yelling, and even hitting the wall somehow. I was about to call down and complain, but it stopped right at midnight. Since the rates aren't cheap, we were looking forward to relaxing, having breakfast, and checking out late. Nope, family started back up early, we realized not even a continental breakfast was complimentary, no prices on Bistro menu, nor even lobby coffee. We showered and left. I had intended to constructively mention perhaps if not at full capacity not to book rooms at either side of families, but was not even asked how our stay was. Expected more from a Marriott than an expensive short sleep/shower.

I love courtyards in general. Upscale without being overdone, with very nice accommodations and amenities. I always love the bistro. Definitely pricey, but everything is delicious, well made and there are tons of great healthy options. The avocado toast is a personal favorite of mine but the banana french toast is also amazing. This courtyard had a nice indoor pool area and a big, clean hot tub. Decent but small fitness center, laundry, friendly staff, and an overpriced but very convenient market. Front desk was happy to send things up to the room when we needed them and the room itself was beautiful. Outside balcony and since we got upgraded to a suite it had a really nice living area and a separate vanity in the bathroom. Very enjoyable stay.

The staff was very accommodating when we booked a last minute room. The rooms were very clean and exactly what we expected. I don't think the a/c was working properly though. I am a hot sleeper so it was a mild annoyance but not a huge deal. We did not bug the staff about it since we were only staying one night. Overall was very happy with our stay!

We decided to stay overnight in St. Louis on a whim. This place was exactly what we needed: Easy to find and convenient location, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. The staff was accommodating and friendly. My only complaint is the rooms were on the warmer side and the a/c wouldn't cool to what we set it at, but it wasn't unbearable. I would recommend to others.

I only stayed here a night for business and found the staff very nice (limited interaction) and the bed comfortable. I had a good sized king suite, which was spacious and nicely laid out, other than that location in the bedroom (not at foot of bed at all). The hotel layout is annoying in that the front desk is as far away as it possibly can be from the rooms. A long walk coming in from the front door. Location was very good for being near downtown attractions and they had a nice (free) parking lot. The property overall seems older and dated and Marriott is losing me with the quality of toiletries in the rooms. But, if you need to be in the area and/or get a good room rate, this is a good option.

This Courtyard isn't far from Ballpark Village so it's very convenient. Rooms were clean and quiet, staff was helpful and Ron, the GM, was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is really nice, really spread out so you have to park by the right door. The pool was kept very nice very spacious, and open late. The hotel staff was friendly. One of the most overpriced little convenience store areas of any hotel I've ever been at$10 for a dollar microwave meal? Way too much, but very nice rooms!

I've spent over 60 nights at this hotel over the last two years. (2016-2017) It's been like my second home… and there are many things that are great about this hotel. There are also some things that haven't seemed to improve. First off, the hotel staff is fantastic. They really are great people and provide excellent service to their guests. From the front desk to the bistro to the maintenance and security staff… they are fantastic. The problem with this hotel that is keeping me from giving them a higher rating is an ongoing mold and mildew problem that affects almost every room in this property. I thought the issue was with the wall air conditioner units… maybe they needed to be cleaned? However, I'm starting to think there is something else wrong with this building… maybe a leaky roof? (Just speculating) If you are sensitive to mold/mildew like I am, you may want to stay elsewhere. I really hope they can get this issue fixed because the location is awesome and you won't find a nicer staff at any hotel in the area.

My wife and I woke up to our car being broken into which appears to be the norm as other cars were also broken into on the same night. The hotel staff showed no compassion for the events that occurred and as stated above made it sound like was something that happens often. While there is a sign saying "not our responsibility" you do have one as a company to protect your guests. I can pick from dozens of other hotel chains but I am loyal to Marriott, for now. The police officer that showed up to review our car and another group said this is the norm. In addition Marriott stated they have a security guard on site, where was he! Also our room had a terrible odor which according to yelp reviews is common. Marriott has reached out regarding the issue in a timely manner.

Nice clean urban hotel. Spacious rooms and good parking. The service was good but the rooms only come with one person’s free breakfast — the other has to pay.

Room entrance is very narrow, but the room is clean and the bed is big. Staff is super friendly. The enclosed court yard is a major bonus. It has good seating and is spacious.

This property was very easy to find about a mile from the arch. The property was clean and the staff very friendly. I had messed up my reservation and they quickly provided us a room. We asked for a good place for St Louis BBQ and they immediately prividesd two places to choose from. Was very pleased and would stay there again, given the opportunity.

Excellent service. The staff are extremely welcoming and happy to help. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Nice, clean hotel with comfortable beds. The cafe has good food at reasonable prices. A little over a mile's walk to the Arch and ballpark, but not bad.

It is a bit older than the other Courtyards I have stayed at but the staff was extremely friendly It was well taken care of and clean. (pool area needs an update) and it is just a 6 dollar uber ride to anywhere downtown St. Louis. Would DEFINITELY stay again.

I've started staying here for work travel recently and have definitely made it my choice hotel. Friendly staff and excellent customer service… particularly the Bistro staff!

Room was clean. Cold A/C on a 104 degree day. Odd smell in hall by room and in room first evening. No mini fridge. Friendly staff. Other then after checkout. After check out at approx 5am was followed outside buy a man that appeared to be security. He stood and stared at me as I got myself and car ready for a 7 hour drive. Made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I will never stay at this location again.

Then though, the hot tub was out of order. Obviously that's not a fault of the employees or anything. Then one of the outlets in our room wouldn't work right, we didn't have the microwave we requested. Then we got a phone call around 1AM saying how it was our FINAL warning to quiet down. Given the time we understood completely and quieted down (we didn't realize the time before they called). What aggravated us though was that they made a point to say it was our final warning, when we had not received any warnings prior. We didn't realize we were being so loud. Also. The sofa bed mattress wasn't all that comfy.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The room smelled like someone died in it and then sat there for a month! The staff was extraordinarily rude, unhelpful, and ignorant. I was told one price and then charged 70 dollars more upon checkout. The air conditioner did not work, and the room was hot and humid. We were told that Busch Stadium was less than a mile away, and when we got there, it was 3 miles away. I would strongly recommend that no one stays at this hotel. This certain hotel should be shutdown for sanitation. I will be reaching out to the corporate Marriott Courtyard about this experience.
