The room was clean and reasonably priced. The owners were polite and the continental breakfast was good.

Horrible experience. Rooms booked had 2 double beds and a fold out couch for 3 of us to stay for the weekend. When we got there we were forced to get another room because we were told it was a maximum occupancy 2 for this weekend. Staff was very rude. The continental breakfast was awful the milk was spoiled. Would never stay again.

Not a lot to say about this place. It's quiet, and the bed was comfortable, but the room had no refrigerator or microwave, and the continental breakfast was about the saddest I've ever seen. The only protein on the table was the tiny containers of peanut butter. It's a good place to sleep, but that's about it.

Rooms were spacious and the breakfast was just what we needed and still simple. Location is close to everything and the transit station is even closer.

Continental breakfast consists of pastry and cereal, rooms in main building pretty nice, owners friendly and helpful with area info.

Enjoyed staying at Colonial Inn. Quiet. Peaceful. Clean. Would definitely stay again if we have opportunity.

Excellent accommodations. Excellent customer service. Need to check this little gem out. Clean clean clean. Super friendly. Lovely pool. Owner was very nice. Even went and bought new swimming pool noodles for my friend and I because he noticed we used the pool a lot. The location is excellent. Not on the strip and secluded. Felt very safe. We were not bothered by staff. They asked if we needed anything and got us more towels, and left us alone. Could have used a mini fridge, but we made due. I have read other reviews and did not feel like I was under surveillance during my stay. If I were the owner and felt like something was going on on my property, I would come round and see what was going on as well. Not being rude, he's just protecting is property. We enjoyed being On the back side of the back building. Will request room below next time, simply because we both have bad knees and the stairs are hard on these old girls. Thank you Dave for taking such great care of us during our stay.

Did not get what we paid for and neither did the couple traveling with us. Our room was supposed to be a double room with sitting area. We had double beds but not sitting area. The couple we traveled with was supposed to get a king suite with a patio. They got a king bed. Not a suite and absolutely no patio. They paid a lot and didn't get what they paid for at all. The owner only asked if we had his keys to his room upon check out. Nothing about how our stay was or anything. We will not be returning. Ever.

The Colonial Inn located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas was a decent hotel but the management was horrible. The man running it was very controlling and watched every move we made. We had family come see us at the hotel and he questioned them and watched every move they made. We asked for more towels and they told us we had plenty and didn't need anymore, we had two towels. I will never stay there again.

Rooms are pretty, Wi-Fi is easy to get on to but isn't quite strong enough of a signal in the outer rooms to get much data through. A very big flat screen TV in the room, much better than other hotels I have stayed in. AC works well, can freeze you up in the night.

The owner is very meticulous and always visible making sure everything is as it should be. The rooms our group stayed in were clean and well maintained. The next time we come down for Eureka Springs Corvette weekend we will stay here again.

The owner is a horrible person and the rooms are very disgusting I would like to warn people from staying in this dump.

We came here for VW car show. Place was very peaceful, clean, and the owners very nice. Pool was clean and heated… kid loved it! Would stay here again!

My husband and I spent the weekend here and it was very peaceful and it was very neat and clean and the owners of this establishment was very sweet and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Where to begin. We're a small-time band, in the middle of a two-week tour of the Midwest. We have six members: five of us are college students, and our bass player is a gentle, bearded man is in his early 30's. We are honest, hard-working folks just to set the record straight, but I digress. Chris had booked a room through travelocity for a room with two queen beds and a couch. That's TWO QUEEN-SIZED BEDS AND A PULL-OUT FUTON COUCH, just to be totally clear about the occupancy capabilities of the room. Five of us arrived at the hotel mid-afternoon. We were greeted by an elderly lady with a European accent, and though she was surprised by the five of us expecting to stay in one room, (a room with TWO QUEEN-SIZED BEDS AND A FUTON), we agreed to pay an extra fee for housing more than two residents in the room, and after that bit of business she was very kind and helpful. It is important to admit that we planned on rooming our sixth member, but we figured it should be no problem since we'd payed the, "extra-resident fee, " and the room had TWO QUEEN-SIZED BEDS AND A FUTON COUCH. Such a room would safely and comfortably sleep six individuals, in our opinions. The initial group of five brought in our instruments and luggage and ventured forth to enjoy some fine dining at the local Pizza Hut. After dinner we returned to the hotel, brought in our sixth resident, and began to enjoy some choice cinema — The Pick of Destiny.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were nice. Very clean. Continental breakfast was okay, but could have been presented better. I would stay again.

We had made reservations for 3 nights and we got to the hotel at 9:45 pm with little kids. The owner told us that we have to pay $10 more per night more than what the quote was when I made the reservation. He was rude to us and told us that we had tricked the other person when I made the reservation. He told us that he will not give us rooms because we are "causing trouble" and that we will have to leave and find some other place to stay. We had already agreed to pay $10 more for staying with kids and $10 more for 2 queen beds when we made the reservations. He wanted us to pay more money. He said that he is the owner and he has the right to make changes in the rates. We had to leave and find another place to stay that late at night. I will not recommend this place to anyone. The owner does not know how to deal with customers. He will tell you to leave the place if you try to reason with him.

I was planning my trip through Eureka Springs this year and came across this review. I stayed here in May 2007. The couple who were running the place had a strong eastern European accent, but were very friendly. Even though English was their second language they gave excellent service. It isn't a 5 star hotel, but clean roomy and friendly. It was mid week and $40/night. They had cold cereal and coffee for breakfast, which was just fine. They had free Wi-Fi. I plan on staying here again this year if it works out.
