We booked our room several weeks a head but when we showed up we had to cancel. The lady at the front desk let us know that the hotel's cable/ phone/ Wi-Fi was out and had been all week. For the price we were going to pay for the hotel room I wasn't willing to accept sub-par accommodations. However, the lady at the front desk handled the situation very professionally and let us cancel with no fees which is why I am leaving a 4 star review. That professional employee turned what could have been a negative situation into a positive one. I would absolutely book here again in the future.

Hotel is great! There is potential. The women at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good. Hotel was going through some refurbishing. The breakfast was very basic eggs and biscuits every day, not much selection. All and all good experience and I would stay there again.

I guess this a good place if u want to pick u up a sack or something.

Super friendly and helpful receptionist, neat, tidy, clean rooms, and a great over all experience.

Considering the hotel was having renovations done the hotel was very nice and we felt very welcome and had a great stay.

I believe it's good value for the price of $73 a night booked online. Quiet, bathroom could use more attention far as shine. Definitely beat super8.

This was a great hotel they are in the middle of an upgrade and the place is only getting nicer by the time there done it will be the nicest place in Jonesboro and they take corporate lodging which makes they rates a steal.

Looks as though the hotel has been a number of different names and could really use some NEW and updated towels, furniture, bedding, pictures etc. It wasn't "nasty" by any means, but would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Ian at front desk is fantastic. He noticed a problem with reservation and went the extra mile to accommodate. Fantastic staff.

Have stayed here before. Going downhill. Ceiling light bulb burned out. Toilet and shower were stained. Remodeling was cosmetic to outside only. Staff was nice feel sorry for them. Was ashamed that I brought friends to stay here. Maybe it should be torn down and start again. Door would only lock sometime. Had to check several times every time I left to make sure it worked. Seemed there was more food for breakfast right before they closed for the morning and then we saw the staff eating leftovers. Room smelled bad when we checked in. Air conditioning filter was dirty. They were kind enough to clean it and spray. I was born in this town and am ashamed of this hotel.

Infested with bedbugs. I checked in late and wen into room dropped my bag on the chair and went to dinner. Came back and started to set things out for the next day. Turned down top corner of bed and saw a bug on the side of mattress. Lifted the corner of the mattress and it was black with bedbugs crawling everywhere. I was mortified. Management won't return my calls. This place could never be decontaminated without a flamethrower. Sickened beyond belief.

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and nice. The manager and the woman who served breakfast in the AM were two of the sweetest ladies ever! To be critical though, it was not the most aesthetic place from the outside, however rooms were pretty clean and had enough space. I will certainly be staying here again if I come back to Jonesboro.

First of all I checked in on August 6, 2017 and I'm extremely disappointed with this hotel. The prices is extremely high for a hotel that's under renovations. The rooms smell moldy and mushy (carpet), when you sit on the bed it goes up on one side, my nephew scratched his leg on the bed rail, the microwave doesn't work, there was no phone in my room, the pool is out of service which I see has been out of service for a long while according to previous reviews, the desk staff act as if she knows nothing. I'm discussed and piss off. I come with my church for our convocation and they should not have took on this big task of servicing us without the proper tools to satisfy your guest. Now my children along with the other kids can't get in the pool for there summer vacation. This is by far the worst hotel that I have either been in. The staff should let the guest know before booking it that they are under construction. They did not tell us anything. I will not come here again. I would like some of my money back. I feel it's false advertisement. So what is going to be done about the matter! I give this hotel 0 stars. Sincerely, upset guest. Tracy.

Good for the price. Looks nice… Night person wasn't helpful. We asked for new sheets because some of the sheets were stained. We called ahead to ask about the pool, they said it was working… it was not and it was filthy. Morning ladies were awesome, super helpful and nice. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

It was OKAY. The southern hospitality was nice, but most of the people were fake. We complained to management that there were issues in the bathroom, they said they would send someone to look at it. No one did. The breakfast sucked. Here is what the menu was: Styrofoam eggs, tiny biscuits, sausages, bacon, bottled milk, bagel and cream cheese, instant oatmeal packets, tea, coffee, and water downed apple and orange juice. The bed was decent, but there is no mini fridge or microwave.

Building is older and the rooms are worn down. No longer an IHG club member.

Best place for the money. Morning Breakfast ok. Clean, hosts were american.

This hotel is extremely tired. On the positive side, the customer — facing staff was friendly enough. Access to a real, off-site gym was excellent. The in room Wi-Fi was also fast. On the negative, the rooms are dumpy and dirty. There's no real privacy room to room or hallway. All of the obvious stuff is clean, but nothing beyond that. The water temperature was adequate, but wouldn't get any warmer. Everything is just beyond worn out; even the sheets are old. Management couldn't care about Spire members. If you're loyal to the brand, good luck. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.

The only redeeming quality is the complimentary gym pass (gym is across the parking lot). I think I would have felt cleaner sleeping at the gym. Hope you're not looking forward to a hot shower after work. Candlewood up the street next tume.

Very well maintained and all staff were very polite and cordial as well as helpful.

Typical Holiday Inn Express. Friendly service and clean rooms.

The room was great the building is somewhat in need of repair. The hot water supply was low in the morning. But overall it's actually one of the better hotels I have stayed in this year.

I wish we could give a lower rating. This was the only hotel in town with rooms available at 9 pm on a Saturday, and for good reason. We W were wary due to the horrible ratings but thought it can't be THAT bad, can it? Front desk tenant hung up on me. I called to inquire about rooms and said we'd book one and be there in 20 minutes and then click, she hung up. Stench of cleaning solution burned your eyes in the lobby. First room we entered had a giant dead beetle that the last occupant had smashed and housekeeping didn't vacuum. We were moved to the 2nd floor which had the strongest smell of urine in the hallway. Our toilet was very unstable and will probably eventually tip over. Our bed fell off the frame and left pieces of broken wood on the floor. We called the front desk with the issue (which is apparently a frequent issue as the neighboring room had same problem). He said he'd be up, but we fixed it ourselves and called back to let him know. He picked up the phone and continued talking to someone he was helping and never acknowledged us so we gave up. He called back — 30 minutes later at 12:55 am when we had just fallen asleep. We ran out of toilet paper and kleenex and there wasn't even a spare roll. Needless to to say we were refunded and left a 7 inch hunk of wood from our bed on the desk when we left.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Our ball team booked rooms here for a tournament. We each called the hotel direct to put rooms in our name and I personally asked about cancelation policy. I was told we had till 4:00 each day's stay to cancel. I then asked if we needed to cancel Saturday due to being at tournament that might rain out or might loose out early could we cancel room. I was told yes mam as long as by 4:00. Then we recieved conformation email and it said by 6:00. We arrived Friday at 5:15 and the manager said she did not care what email said or person on phone said we had to pay two nights and if we don't she will just charge our credit card. We asked to speak to someone above her she said there is nobody and would not give us a contact number. The room itself had black mold looking spots all over ceiling and wet places on ceiling. The bed would fall off rails if we did not sit or lay in the middle of bed. My husband had to fix bed several times. The toilet made flushing noises by itself about every 30 min. The pool was not clean. After staying here over the weekend we have three children who have become sick and had to go to dr today (monday). The health department should close this place and they should loose their license for false advertising and stealing money from families making them pay for something they did not need. Please if you are thinking about staying here GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Average motel stupid expensive. Fake friendly.

Ac was noisy. Horrible customer service. Rooms are fine. There are many hotels in thus area. I suggest you investigate another.

Way overpriced and for what it is. Out dated and old musty rooms. Holiday inn is not what it used to be. I will stay with their competition.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn-Jonesboro 9/19-9/'21 for an ASU football game. Upon arriving home sunday afternoon, I realized I had left my Bluetooth iPad keyboard and a paper notebook at the hotel. When I called, the receptionist confirmed that they had it, but refused to ship it (yes I offered to pay for it), saying they would hold it "indefinitely" for me. I called this am and spoke to the hotel manager who confirmed that is the policy of this hotel (not a corporate policy). I live 5 hours away, nonstop driving. I have sent an e-mail to IHG-corporate regarding this, but what an amazing example of poor customer service. My error for leaving it, but theirs for a complete unwillingness to help.

Price is too high for the condition its in. AM I slept very good the shower had very good water pressure and was really hot the highway is right outside the window and I never heard anything all night.

This is an old place an shows it. A/C is very musty smelling. Gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and accomodating. I would not recommend.
