The hotel was very comfortable, good location in front of the Fremont Street. I had a wonderful time at the area, very magical, and entertaining. Very recommended!

Bad service, 1st a tourist city that guests like this can't accept, waiting for check-in more than 1 hour with many people queuing.

The Plaza Hotel has Amazing, clean and good size rooms. Family friendly, Awesome staff! Right on Fremont st. With awesome views. We're going to stay at the plaza more often.

My Daughter and I had a GREAT time staying at the Plaza. When we checked in we asked for a view and Will said he had one for us… said wait until it gets dark. The view was awesome! Thanks Will… Everyone of the employees always smiled and where very helpful. We will be back!

Most horrible experience, go somewhere else! Booked a last minute stay with my friend as our flight got cancelled. They gave us a NON SMOKING roo, however when we went up to the room, there was a cigarette wrap in the garbage Can. Disgusted As 1. There was trash on a “clean room” 2. The manager was completely unsympathetic and s liar. As he stated only the resort fee was going to be charged, when in fact he charged for the whole stay. His suggestion was to send housekeeping to “clean” the room that is supposed to be clean if you are just checking in. Marc Shaberg you lied to us and took our money in such a non fair way!

I loved our room and I felt like it was my second home. Love the coffee shop ground level and I love the coffee shop’s wall paper but MOSTLY I love the RFWA during NFR it is the best shopping experience with more makers than big corporate and Everyone involved in that show is amazing!

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Even the manager was rude. I booked for the “old
School” special but forgot to click a box to include the special so management told me even though I booked ahead online through the ad they refused to honor it. Rooms are outdated, empty, and smell old. Left almost immediately after seeing the room and will never return.

Stayedat the plaza for a couple nights had a great time there staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean.

They have the best pickleball instructor and clinic.

Its a bit dated but comfortable. Prices are ok. Right now its a bit odd due to covid 19. No valet no bell hops nothing to carry luggage to rooms etc. Self parking is free but my truck doesn't clear. My truck isn't lifted. Its stock and won't clear. Thankfully a employee let us park by side entrance.

One of my favorite hotels downtown Las Vegas! The friendliest staff, great rooms, and the pool is one of my favorite places to relax! Great drinks that aren't overly expensive! I also love that you can walk right on to Freemont Street!

The Plaza Hotel and Casino is an amazing place to stay! ridiculously clean rooms, staff is awesome and friendly. The venues are awesome as well. I stayed there this past December, and I'm looking forward to staying there again soon!

I love this place I stayed there the first time I went to Vegas and had a great experience with the staff and the rooms were very nice and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodations in Vegas and on Fremont Street.

This is the BEST place I’ve ever stayed and I go to Vegas 2-4 times a year! First time there and I won’t ever go back. The entire staff treated us like family!

Great location if you want experience Fremont. We won a little, slot attendants were fast and efficient. Overall customer service is really lacking. Stopped to ask a question at the front desk and got an attitude, but check out was great. McDonalds employee just hated her job and was rude just getting us coffee, but the young lady at Subway was very pleasant when we ordered coffee. Brightside was a waste, cashiers unfriendly when answering questions, no greeting, no reply to my thank you or reply to me saying have a good day. Hash House had great food, great service. First bar by the tables, bartender was just angry, yelling at customers. Then told us we couldn’t sit at the bar and gamble with our drinks because we had our bags. Do not get a smoking room, no ventilation. A little to many unhappy employee experiences for me.

I have used this hotel twice and the front desk is very unfriendly. No smile, no hey how are you… nothing. Then they put me in a smoking room and I was told that is just a preference. I have asthma so that was horrible. I now have no voice from coughing all night. My service the previous time at this hotel was horrible so not a shock. That time it included alarms going off in the middle of the night, no room service and no movies. At the pool a cc machine also was down and you could not charge anything back to your room. What a mess. Bell desk this trip was also unfriendly and did not offer to help with the luggage. Overall I would recommend staying anywhere else.

Been to Vegas probably 200 times and never had I been to the Plaza. My cousin was staying there so we did also. What an amazing hotel. Staff was so friendly. Rooms are great. Loved the amount of visible security. Great mix of slots. Will definitely be back. The Plaza is now my go to in Vegas.

So, we go to Vegas at the end of October. We decided to stay at the Plaza because it’s on Fremont and seemed really cool from the pictures. Also super cheap. I wish I would have just paid the extra money to stay somewhere else. I spent next to no time in my room the one night we were there. Just left my stuff there. Fast forward to a week later at my house, I see these little weird looking bugs on my kitchen counter. Killed them, no big deal. I had a sneaking suspicion that …they were roaches but didn’t know. I had never seen one before. They were underneath my dish mat on my counter and I found them while I was wiping the counters down. Fast forward again, to last night, I walk into my kitchen and go to move my paper towel holder and see several German cockroaches scatter. So here I am in a panic, wondering where the hell these things came from. We haven’t brought anything new home, haven’t ordered any packages, our home is clean. When I thought to maybe check the reviews for the plaza. Sure enough, others have had complaints about cockroaches. So now I have this disgusting infestation which will likely cause me to spend a stupid amount of money because my house is huge. I called a GM, name of Drew, who was incredibly rude and condescending. Asked me if I had seen roaches there. No, I didn’t. I was literally in my room for about 3 hours and I was asleep. My luggage was in there for nearly a day, and it seems that we picked up some hitchhikers in there. Fantastic.

This hotel is literal garbage. Let me tell you a story of how my room got broken into.
Me and all my roomates left for work around 7:30 am. When we arrived back at 7:30 pm our room door was wide open. Our beds were made and various trash items thrown away, so it was clear the maid had been in there. However, all the cash in my wallet and my roommates cash was all missing ($150ish). So I go down to the front desk, frantic and freaked out and explain my story. They call security who doesn't come for over 10 minutes. While I am down there, a coworker comes down to the front desk and complains her key keeps demagnatizing and shes had to come back to the lobby 9 times to get a new key. They give her 5 free drink tickets for her trouble. Meanwhile, I am emotionally freaked out by strangers going into my room and no one is consoling me with bells and whistles. So I finally speak to security, which treated me very coldly too and I wrote a statement. They told me an investigation would be underway and they would contact me in 24 to 48 days. Well a week goes by so I give them a call. The "investigator " on the case tells me even though they have footage of the maid going in and out of the room, and multiple hotel guests going in and out of the room before we get back, because theres no "gross negligence" (which there is by her leaving the door open) and with a safe in the room, that theyre not liable.

This was my 2nd time staying at the plaza and maybe my last if they don’t do some room renovations. Check in and out was a breeze, used the kiosk and didn’t have to wait on line. The rooms don’t have a fridge and the only light is on the nightstand by the beds and the bathroom so the room is very dark which may have a hidden agenda. The hotel is directly across the street from Fremont street so you honestly can’t get any better with location. The casino is clean and if you like pizza you have to check out pop up pizza downstairs. It’s unbelievable! The vegan pizza was the best I’ve ever had. The pool is small but still a clean friendly environment and most importantly relaxing. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone but it would be really great if they added a fridge and another light and cleaned up the rooms.

I keep seeing people say you get what you pay for,,, I paid for the 1 bedroom suite for weekend getaway for my husband's 40th birthday. And I did get what I paid for. We stayed in one of the oldest coolest hotel/casino in Vegas and loved it. Room was nice, bed comfy, pool was great. We had some friends over for some drinks in the suite and made our way to Fremont for some drinking, dancing, and fun. No complaints. Great room, fun gambling, husband had a great 40th. We would definetly stay again. I suggest maybe go for a large room like we did, and NOT the cheapest ones. Just saying,

Our room was dated, but clean and comfortable. They need to add some charging station areas to the rooms, the outlets are very hard to get to two plug-in Chargers. The casino was clean and had full pay video poker that we enjoyed playing. The bartender who served us was friendly and efficient. We joined the slot Club and were given a few perks after playing for a short time. We liked that the casino was near the Fremont Street Experience, but at the end of it so as not to be in the middle of all of the noise and hubbub.

Beautiful hotel. Great location across from where the Fremont Street experience starts. Valet and ride share set up is easy, pick up and drop off right out front. Lower level of casino seemed small, but maybe there where more somewhere we didn't see? We just went inside to check it out. Great atmosphere.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff, clean, and lots to do both in the hotel itself and in the surrounding area. Prices are very affordable for Vegas too, and some of the in-hotel restaurants are TO DIE for. My only complaint is that it’s unfortunate that non-smoking families have to walk through the smoke filled casino area to get to their rooms, which means bringing kids and babies through it all too. Overall an amazing experience though, and we plan to return for our next Vegas trip!

My wife and I stayed here for a few days. We decided to upgrade our room upon arrival. The room we received was in no way an upgrade. The window faced a large air conditioning unit. We called the front desk and they changed our rooms. That was no problem. When we got to the second room, I decided to shower and found that there was no hot water. We called the front desk again, they offered to switch rooms or we could wait a few hours to see if the water would heat up. The front desk also put in a service request with maintenance. We waited, but didn't receive a response. We called back to the front desk to let them know the water was still cold and would need to change to another room. We got the other room and everything was cool. Overall, it turned out to be a great experience. I just hated that we had to change rooms a few times. We did the whole Fremont Street thing and had a good time. If you are thinking about staying here, know that it is just okay.

Don’t let other’s reviews steer you away, we are glad we didn’t. The Plaza is older but affordable and they take care of this place. Our room was as average as any other with no complaints. At one point our blow dryer stopped working and within 10 minutes I was brought a new one. The pool was fantastic, an affordable cabana, and not overcrowded. We will definitely be returning!

Our room was clean. I loved the view of the mountains. The front desk lady was a bit rude and impatient with our questions. There are no microwaves or refrigerators. (I think you can request one). Watch out for the “TLC Resort” promoters if you aren’t interested in going to a 90 min (we stayed 3 hours) meeting. They will try to get you by claiming they’ll give you money or free stuff so BEWARE! Their McDonald’s doesn’t have a dollar menu. The bar. Their drinks aren’t as good as 4 Queens. Housekeeping was nice and friendly so were security and Bellmans.

The actual Hotel interior is nice I like the carpet. I really don't think you do that interested when I went to cash in my ticket at the casino cage the casino people were really nice. The rooms were nice it was a very calm setting I felt cozy like I was at home. The bed sheets were clean your remote control to the TV worked and the AC was able to be adjusted at any given time. It was a good experience.

For the price, it was just great. German standards were also met.

Rooms are a decent size. The view is almost decent, I can see the strip skyline in the South tower but most of it is parking lot/railroad. Staff is friendly and helpful. However, the rooms stink — literally. The wind makes the doors and windows "scream, " the AC struggles very loudly, the bathroom fan doesn't work, and the blankets/sheets are scratchy and stained. Every time a door closes in the hallway it rattles ours. It's a good place to adventure to Fremont. Given the choice, I'll get a motel off of Fremont — half price, same quality.

Went to the hotel for Hash House! It was a fantastic time with phenomenal food. The bacon was thick the food was fresh and the corned beef was house made! They always have good portions so you feel like it's definitely worth it. One of my favorite restaurants in Vegas and now they have a new location in the Plaza!

Partied there many times and got faded! That's before top to bottom remodeling. And it sucks they got rid of there Lucky $7.77 buffet. It wasn't great but good especially for the price. Golden Nugget charges almost 40 bucks a head, so dies Main Street stations but their food is far more superior to the Plaza, featuring Prime Rib, New York's, Filet Mignon and shrimp, crab and lobster. Salmon and Halibut also served.

You definitely get what you pay for. The pictures are deceiving, the tub was corroded and the fiberglass was chipped off all along he bottom, there was no fridge in our room or a microwave, and the hotel smelled like smoke from the casino mixed with chorine and air fresheners. That is the best way I can describe it. The lamps in our room weren’t working and we called to ask if they can fix them and they knew what we were talking about, so they knew they weren’t working. Seriously? Granted they fixed them for us, but don’t book a room if you know of stuff isn’t working. The bathroom was terrible, the lighting made it impossible to get ready. It’s just old and run down. I probably won’t stay there again. But, if all you want to do is party and have a place to sleep and shower and get back to partying, then it is a good place for you. For me personally, it was a dive. Will not stay there again.

Very good but I lost all my money.

The Hotel is simple, I stayed 8 days, the very basic toilet, shower kit only Shampu and soap forget that there is the conditioner, when entering the hotel charge an additional value of 15 dollars a day, who attended me I charge 19 more dollars without explaining, to make my process of Departure from the hotel asked to verify what was charged and indeed I had charged a little more, who attended me returned the 19 dollars and could not explain why that charge. Also on entering asked someone to help me with the suitcases they said no, I had to request room change because the bathrooms are covered.

This hotel has newly been renovated in the last few years the playing area is not very large it's a little bit more of a quiet Hotel I've noticed they do have some great food options they have Hash Hash House there and they have some other little shops for just going to take and go type meals the pool areas on the rooftop it seems to me that it gets son most of the day which is nice looks like there's a food truck up there by the pool as well it's in a good location right at the end of Fremont Street. I'd say I haven't had the best luck in gambling at this hotel it is a nice area if you just want to be in a more quiet area being that it is smaller it doesn't seem as smoky. My biggest complaint is I can barely get in the door without someone harassing me to get free show tickets, free vouchers to a hotel or restaurant, just kind of bombarding you. One time I actually did stop and speak with them and I was not impressed with what was actually offered in free show tickets. Doesn't mean any show of your choice it's usually these ones that are not that great. I just want to go and relax and Gamble, and sit by the pool, I don't need somebody bugging me continuously about going to shows… if I want to go to a show I know where to find you.

Classic downtown hotel at the top end of Freemont Street. Become known for Back to the Future II, as "Biff's Hotel" please be aware of the "Downtown" a few kilometers from the Las-Vegas Strip. It is comparatively quiet and leisurely here. I liked it mainly because everything here is actually a little cheaper than on the Strip.
I found the large covered pedestrian zone to be very pleasant, in contrast to the bustling Las-Vegas Boulevard.

I’d HIGHLY advise against staying here to anyone considering it. We had numerous problems throughout our brief stay, and will certainly not be returning. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a huge cockroach that jumped on my arm as we were waiting in line to check in. Minutes later as we checked in, we were told that the pool would be closed to guests beginning at 1:30 pm each day because there was an event going on. We’d intended to spend a lot of time at the pool, and when we expressed our disappointment in this were not offered anything to make up for that or even so much as an apology. We paid to upgrade our room and unfortunately this didn’t make things better whatsoever. Our water in our shower was cold ALL WEEKEND and there was huge amounts of construction going on right outside our windows, preventing us from being able to relax in the room. So… couldn’t go to the pool, wouldn’t be eating in facilities that could have cockroaches roaming around, and couldn’t even get peace and quiet in our room or even so much as enjoy a hot shower. We asked for a late check out so we could at least enjoy the pool until it was closed off to guests on our last morning, but this was essentially not accommodated as they hardly gave us any extra time. Upon checkout, we were not asked how our stay was or any sort of follow up questions, so I didn’t even have a chance to express this awful experience to the staff. What kind of hotel doesn’t ask about your experience?

A nice reasonably priced Hotel and Casino near the Fremont Street Experience. I enjoyed the stay, the staff were friendly and they had a "How To Shoot Craps" lesson every day I was there. And they were excellent! I did OK at the craps table after I went for the lesson. It was free, the lady giving the lesson was really excellent. If you take her advice you can shoot craps with the best of them. Great time.

1st timer at the Plaza. Nice big rooms (bed pillows can be bigger though). Large casino floor, lotsa slots. Decent $$ returns on game play, however I didn't play the tables here, for no particular reason. Hotel sits at the head of the Fremont Experience, so everything one needs is in walking distance. Could use more food court space, and more restaurants, hence the 3 stars.

The Plaza Hotel and Casino in old Town Fremont Street is very up to date with the complete remodeling that occurred a couple years ago. 100% modern machines a. D modern everything. They have a sports booking area, they have interesting Restaurants, and they have bonus days where points count at a multiple of the original settings. So it's beautiful, it's on Fremont Street, it's historic, it's new, it's great. A must if your going to Fremont Street anytime on your visit. Located at the end of the street, can't miss it. Go have some fun. Cliff.

For a Las Vegas well located hotel, right on the Fermont experience. The casino at the hotel offers everything the gambler needs. The room was very clean.

Room looks clean. Bed is comfortable. You think you got a great deal but be prepared to pay 3 times the listing price when you check in. Lmited amenities, no coffee, tea, conditioner or mini fridge. No toothbrush at front desk, no laundry. Curtains cannot fully close. No extra pillows. Poorly design bathrooms with no place to put extra towels or cloths. Air cooler is loud to keep the room breathable. Just to sleep and go is fine. Food court downstairs with inexpensive food. Leave with cigarettes smell.

It's pretty clear once you get to your room that this hotel has seen better days, but it's fairly cheap and has quick access to Fremont Street. The elevator from the parking garage was malfunctioning, and forced us to use the stairs with all of luggage. It was quite windy on the night we got there, and the doors to the stairwell have nothing to soften their swings close, so it slams violently behind us, so much so that the door literally warps from the force. The casino and lobby are pretty desolate even on a Friday and Saturday night. The room smelt strongly of what I can only describe as shampoo that has dried in an isolated room with no ventilation for a week straight with a sprinkle of bleach. It was unpleasant, but after running the air conditioner for a couple days it became tolerable. The sink in our room was plugged up and water barely trickled through, it also had a bad smell, seems like it needs some work. Also, the hotel seems fairly cheap, but they hit you with a "resort" charge for each day when you check out. Seemed pretty shady.

My wife and I had a great time at the Plaza. If you are looking for some super fancy hotel then it wont be for you. We are just middle class people who go to Vegas once a year. Check in was easy and we got our room at 10am instead of having to wait til 3pm. Our room was in the South Tower, it was clean and good sized. The bathroom was a little small but worked fine for us. The food selection is good and if you don't find something you want at the Plaza there are multiple choices up and down Fremont St. We ate at Oscars at the Plaza and it was amazing. The casino is nice and has plenty to keep you entertained. Drink service is a little slow while you are gambling though. Having Fremont St. At your door way is a great benefit of staying at the Plaza. The down side are the walls are thin and neighbors can be loud, only happened to us one night. Plus the people trying to give you free or discounted shows/ dinners to listen to a time share presentation get annoying. All in all the Plaza was great and we will be going back again and again!

This was my second time staying here. No frills but usually pretty cheap. The bed didn't seem to be is comfortable in this room, but for 3 nights and not going to bed until after 2:00am about anything would work. We did have fun downstairs in the casino. It's not as busy so the cocktail waitresses are around often which is awesome. They also have some awesome table dealers… even though they still took our money.

Me and my family stayed here for a while. The rooms are good, there is good space for the machines and games, and it is very close to Fremont Street.

I ate at the house hash and I was rich and the service good.

I love this place. I had a grate time my favorite one thing if I had to choose was the craft beer. I love beer and the selection was out of this world. The food was great the service was outstanding. Everyone was firendly and helpful. I would definitely come back for the drinks, food, and good times. Thank you plaza for the best time ever.

Rooms have a vintage vibe. Wasn't a 5 star hotel but the service was good, amenities were abundant, casino and rooms are clean. Great place to stay off the strip and relax. Plenty of food options for every budget. *This year was our second visit where a breaker went out in our room.

Location, Location, Location. The casino is dated since I think they originally opened the doors. It does have a huge selection of slot machines and many of them to choose from. The rooms were surprisingly clean and nice. It definitely gives you the feeling that you have stepped back in time when you walk thru the front doors. The staff are extremely nice and security is EXCELLENT very friendly and helpful. If your on a budget or just want to get a taste of old Vegas this is the place. The restaurant Hash House A Go Go is definitely a must. The portions are enough for 2 to split and the quality is outstanding. If you don't stay at the hotel or visit the casino you have to have a meal at the Hash House. You will be thrilled that you did.

I stayed a week at this hotel and three times the bathroom had plumbing issues, not working drain and flooding the bathroom.

It's really not a bad place. The price is good and with surge pricing in Vegas, it becomes one of the few options available. The staff was very friendly and made sure that we were taken care of. The room was clean. They gave us bottled water in the room as well at no charge. The TV was a small set, but allowed us to hook up HDMI cables for a different device. The distance is quite far from the strip, but bus access is easy when it is running on time.

Walk down here for breakfast at Hash House A Go Go, twice because it was so awesome! I had been to the one in Orlando previously and this one was just as good. Humongous portions of very good food. I had breakfast one of the days and lunch another, both excellent. Was with a vegetarian and another person with special diet needs and they accommodated both easily and happily. Really a great way to start out our day! Definitely recommend this place for breakfast or lunch!

We are staying there as I'm writing this. The room is terrible, tiny dark and no storage space. We booked thru Southwest vacations and the picture was definitely not the room we received! I went back to the front desk and asked what the availability for the hotel was the next 5 days we are staying and I was told 65%! So I immediately asked for an upgrade which we would of covered the difference on. All of the sudden there were no rooms to upgrade to! We generally stay at Golden Nugget there rooms there are bigger and newly remodeled. Stay away from this joke so far we are not enjoying our time here in Vegas. I want to feel like I'm on vacation and be in a room that is advertised even willing to pay for it. We may cut or loses and head to the Nugget. My wife is not allot of fun right now.

I had such a great and unexpected 3 nights here. My room faced Fremont so there was a pretty cool view and super easy access to the entertainment of downtown but it was loud in my room till around midnight (not sure about weekend though might go later. ) Luckily the room has a good fan/AC/heat unit that helped drown out the sound. The bed was huge and comfortable. Plenty of space and, most importantly, clean! Loads of free parking and very helpful staff.

Got a great room for a reasonable price. They have pretty good customer service. Room was clean and had comfy beds. Casino was great and very exciting. Had delicious tacos in the food court.

The rooms are spacious, the bathroom a little less. It is convenient to get to the fun places and take a taxi to "modern" Las Vegas. The staff is qualified but a little aloof. Good price.

Stayed there recently with a friend. When I returned home I discovered my jewelry was missing. My friend and I searched our thoroughly before checking out so I know I didn't accidentally leave it behind and it had to have been taken from my room by someone who had entry access to our room. Hotel security staff insisted I'd lost it and it wasn't in their list and found. They claimed to have no responsibility and I was just out of luck and out of my jewelry. I've traveled world wide over the past 50 years and never had anything turn up missing. My next trip to Vegas will not involve me spending any time or money at the Plaza.

I like to stay downtown instead of the on strip, and this hotel is always affordable and convenient. Located right at the end of downtown, our room had a view of the Fremont Street Experience. I thought it might be too noisy, but a little before midnight, all was quiet! I also won on the slots here (unlike most of the strip casinos). Great room also with comfy bed and pillows! I recommend this place if you're going to Vegas!

We ate lunch there. The service was friendly. The food is good.

The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the late night food in and nearby was great. Love the beer selection in the area. Only problem for us as non-smokers was the high level of cigarette smoke near the late night restaurant. Other than that it was a great stay.

Comfy bed, great service at the front desk. Unfortunately, the room amenities are slim. Don't expect much better anywhere in a town designed to take money from you: coffee for sale downstairs? No coffeemaker. Food available downstairs? No fridge, no microwave. Only complaint (so far) : even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door, housekeeper took the sign down, hung it inside, came in, changed towels out, and took the trash out.

Best casino host in Vegas. Has super odds on video poker. Has a 10-7 double double machine with all your basic 96 regular jacks or better they have a great breakfast starter at the hash house for about ten bucks. A little Insider tip, take a one-way shuttle trip from the airport to the plaza and they will take you back to the airport in their vehicle for free. They have a great pool and workout room.

Let see where should. I start. First the place is not bad. We bad to chance rooms three times. Since. Arriving here yesterday but the staff has been great. Had to attend a time share presents but that wasn't bad I know my husband and I will be getting a time share in the near future for you our family. Can go on more family vacations. Fremont street us a blast and we will be back again.

The service is very good.! The rooms a little simple. For me they need to have a small fridge because with the heat it does you can not keep cold drinks inside the room.

The price for the rooms was fair. My room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a quick stay in Las Vegas. It had a bed and shower, what more do I I want? At check in I had a small problem with one of the desk staff. He was rude when I had questions about the resort fees and he just refused to help. I didn't take his attitude personal. I accepted my room keys and moved on. Later that same evening I returned to the lobby to have someone else help me. All the other staff was great. I'm sure I will consider the Plaza again in the future.

The rooms are nicely refurbished, close to the world market center which was nice. Not the nicest casino area, a bit run down and old school. If your looking for a cheap room in this area this is a good deal for the price I would book this. If anything other than the room is important (casino, pool, etc) I would look elsewhere.

The hotel offered some of the best pricing for the value. The downtown location is surprisingly very convenient, in close proximity to a lot of the walking activity on the Fremont strip. When you get there, beware of the timeshare sales pitches that will swarm you upon check in. Also, there was a strange smell in the hallways. The rooms look and smell clean overall. The customer service after 11:00 is not as sharp as you would like, but once morning comes, order appears to be restored. This is a good value for the money. Not the best, but certainly not the worst that Vegas has to offer in lodging.

I love to play bingo and gamble here but will never stay there again. Last time I stayed there I was 7 months pregnant and maintenance barged into my room without knocking and I was naked, not only was I scared to death, I was so embarrassed. I told the manager and never received an apology from her or the men that did it. All she said was "well what do you want me to give you" as if I was lying for free stuff! This last time I was there, the line for the elevator was backed up and I moved out to let a lady and her mother who was in a walker in and this older man that was extremely intoxicated pushed both the ladies trying to throw them out of the elevator and kept cursing and pushing them for no reason. There was tons of witnesses in the elevator and it ended up closing on them while they were fighting and I heard them all yelling and screaming all the way up. I saw the two ladies later on that day and I asked them if they were okay, and they told me that the manager nor hotel security did absolutely anything to the man even though multiple people witnessed him pushing and hitting them. I couldn't believe they just let him away with that. This place does not take care of their guests at all!

I stayed at the Plaza for 7 nights because I had to work a trade show. Don't listen to all the negative reviews. Yes the Plaza is somewhat dated but in a nostalgic time warp kind of way especially the casino. I personally loved it. For the money it was worth it. The front desk was great! Hat's off to Fidgi the girl that helped me with my reservation. She was so helpful and kind and put me into the perfect room. The pool was perfect and the rooms were clean. The location couldn't have been any better. I will personally recommend the Plaza to all of my friends. You can't beat the price for what you get!

I went to the plaza specifically to gamble with a friend visiting from out of town. Within 5 minutes she won $2, 000 on a poker machine and left with almost $3, 000 more than she came with. Obviously our experience was positive. :-) while it is one of the old hotels in downtown Las Vegas, they maintain the gaming area very nicely and it was quite crowded. Overall it was an excellent experience.

4 out of 5 because I got a smoking room which I wanted but they should at least put an air freshener in there. The restaurant Hash a Go Go was amazing! Perfect service amazing food n drinks! The pool was very nice but wish they could have all the ingredients needs for drinks they offer. Pool time should be longer. The front desk was very fast and sweet. Spent my 1 year anniversary with my hubby here and loved it for being right there on Fremont! I will be coming back! Also the valet was wonderful very friendly and knowledgeable! Also quick! Thank you!

Stayed for a few days in June. The check in process was long, but the MOD was rushing things. We were glad to get things expedited, but this lead to our check in being botched. We all had to leave a $50.00 deposit. There were three of us checking in under a package deal, but my friend extended us by reserving our rooms an extra night. We all paid AT THE DESK for that 3rd night. There's a month of data I could leave here, but long story short, the MOD of the Plaza botched our check in, the accounting got skewed, and we never got our deposit back. My wife, my friend, and others have called about it and get a different story every time. My wife finally got the MOD on the line today to see if they could just hash it out, and he/she hung up on her. I enjoyed Vegas as a whole. I won't be going back to the Plaza.

Hotel location to everything was GREAT, my wife spent two days at the North Premium Outlet. Room size was great, bed slept comfortable, sink was clogged and hot water took a little time to get hot, not enough lighting in rooms and need additional mirror. Small fixes, but would definitely would recommend it to others. Customer service is hard to fine, but at Plaza they were Superb. Thanks Anders, Don and the staff at Plaza Hotel & Casino. Those who go to this hotel will still see the real Las Vegas, down town. Little high gloss, a bit noisy but honest and affordable. In addition to the very nice and priced fair hash house on the ground floor, there is a small McDonald's, Subway, a small café and a Mexican food take away + a small pizza restaurant. There is also a steak house and a well-stocked bar. Something for everyone.

Hotel is OK, casino is now nice and fuller, staff is friendly.

I used to be a regular here, it is not worth staying here anymore. Rooms sinks plug, employees seems to not know what's going on. Ice machine is broken on my floor. Was told to go to another floor to get ice. No coffee in room. Because they want to hold you to buying coffee downstairs. Just bad experience. Non smoking room stunk like weed everyday. Save your money. I'll never waste money here again.

My experience was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! for starters I got a non smoking room in a non smoking area and yet my room and the hallways reaked of marijuana! The pool was very small for a newly remodeled hotel, also it closed way too early 7pm! When I went to get my gamble on down on pool side one of the dealers was Very rude. Talking trash to me while dealing. The plumbing in my room was awful, sink and tub wouldn't drain for hours on end. Also the rooms didn't have refrigerator's or mirrors! The service over all in the hotel was awful, they did not make me feel welcomed all employees looked miserable like they hate their job! With this said… I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

Really good service for the most part and nice location downtown. A bit lacking in amenities and the casino is a bit sparse, but I'm here on a promotion and it's great for a free room.

Great location, decent gaming but a lack of other entertainment options. The location really makes this hotel a good place to stay at. Also, the bartenders downstairs and Hash House are awesome. The pool is only open until 7pm, though. So those of us who are in town for work rarely get to take advantage of it.

A good option within the Fremont St.

This was the first time being in Vegas. We did try to go on a lower end of spending money for a hotel since you're not in the room but just to sleep for a few hours before going back out. The staff was great. Only had a few issues. The toilet in our room was dripping from the back connection to the bowl part. We had water all over the bathroom and sink area. We put all of our towels down and got a few more towels to soak up and control the water. We did call for maintenance, he came up to look at the problem, said he wouldn't be able to fix it right then but he did offer to get us moved to another room. Since we were leaving that next morning we were not worried about it. The Casino was nice, even though it was under construction. We had never played Craps before and the guys and lady that was running the table was very nice and helped us play until we got the hang of it. They were probably helping the house make money, but we appreciated their help and we made $100 out of $20. We do plan to go back to Vegas sometime, and we will stay at the Plaza Hotel again because we loved it there so much and because Fremont Street was right at the front door. Thank you Plaza Hotel for great staff and service and a very nice hotel.

The Plaza hotel and casino seems perfectly content to be the Motel 5 of the Las Vegas downtown area. The building is increasingly "old Vegas", which is great, but the rooms themselves are sparse, with uncomfortable desks and chairs, beds with a firm hump along the spine and no refrigerators which seems like a move designed to encourage spending $2 a bottle at the hotel's food counters to beat the oppressive summer heat. Fortunately the staff are friendly, the linen clean, and location great for Fremont Street.

All the good reviews are written by them! Don't believe them. It's worse place I have even been to. The place smells from the moment you walk in. The Room is like you are in 3rd world country. The employees are like robots. Don't care. JUST SAVE YOURSELF Headache and avoid this place. You can actually find better deal in First class hotels around, Don't settle for this Trash. AND Casablanca Express will promise you that this is a remodeled great place to stay. It's a Lie.

Very cosy place. It is more old fashioned looking. They offer OK looking rooms but there buffet is the best of the best. If you stay here of just visit here you must eat at there buffet. The are some what expensive but it is worth it. They have some special buffet days.

The smell of skunk 24 hrs, a day no mirrors in the room, not enough outlets the sink smelled like the pipes where rotting not a clean hotel looks r deceiving the pool was the only good area! Skunk means MARIJUANA! In a no smoking section. We pay the price and the extra 20 dollars for service fee… will not be returning to this Hotel any time soon… we stayed 8 days.

Good, not super upscale Hotel at a cool place on the North Strip. The checkin is extremely slow. Recommendation: Come between 11 and 13 o'clock and go to the rooftop pool.

The Plaza is on the "good" side of the old Las Vegas strip. A block or two away, the old strip gets seedy and scary. That being said, the Plaza has a rep-roaring casino of the old design (tighter spaces, thicker cigarette smoke, cheap drinks) with many floors of comfortable, clean rooms upstairs. We stayed in a room that had been recently upgraded (we heard that most of the hotel was already upgraded) so the decor and bathroom were modern and the bed was SUPER comfortable. The walls were not made of paper so we did not get any 3am entertainment from the neighbors (which is more than common in LV). The Plaza is also very close (5min walk) to a lot of the shows and to Fremont St where the Zotzilla zipline is enjoyed by many. All in all, it was a great stay. We would definitely stay at the Plaza again.

My husband and I went for Punk Rock Bowling. Although we didn't stay at the Plaza, we attended the pool party. Mind you we are from NC and and 50 years old. Not drug users and mild drinkers. (We are an elementary school teacher and a Nurse) My husband became severely dehydrated and hypotensive. He passed out. The staff was incredibly wonderful as was all the people around us. I love punk rock family atmosphere! We called the rescue and they checked him out. Same conclusion, dehydrated… thank goodness that was all. I want that staff to know how much I appreciate them being there and being quick to respond for me. Kudos to the Plaza, kudos to Punk Rock Festival families! Thank you.

Clean and nice staff, and thats about it, nothing spectacular. no downtown hotel should be charging this absokutely pointless and greed supplying resort fee especially since even the few thay do have resort style service. They are stull smack in the middle of a noisy, polluted, congested metropolitan area.

My husband and I attend Punk Rock Bowling every year this year the Plaza redesigned their pool area and did not wait for the concrete sealant to settle and open the pool before they should have, as a result my husband developed SECOND DEGREE CHEMICAL BURNS! Concrete sealant has lye in it and is incredibly dangerous. We reached out to the Plaza three different times including leaving detailed messages about what happened and contact information on how to reach us and still have not heard any response. That pool was open to the public including young children all weekend long. I am truly disgusted with the ignorance and lack of concern shown by this establishment. I hope others that attended the pool parties walked away unharmed my burn was minor compared to the suffering my husband received but at least I am now well versed in cleaning wounds and applying guaze…

Mold, Smoke, and Construction Dust left me SICK for days after my vacation. Sewage was backing up through my sink. Blood stains on the sheets. Rude staff. I know it's really really cheap, but please don't risk your health (or your dignity) by staying in this hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights in April 2016. ROOM — I actually liked the room the best which is why I am starting with it. The bathroom was kind of small but not an issue. The drains and hot water worked well in my room. The A/C, TV and lights all worked out well. Bed was very comfortable we had a king. I did hear one guy mention all the ice machines were not working but ours did on 20th floor. We did have noisy neighbor one night but after I called downstairs front desk they seemed to calm down rest of weekend. The view was not great overlooking the pool deck which I will get to. Being close to the elevator I was scared about noise but the elevators were quiet. Room service did a good job cleaning up. SERVICE — I had good service the whole time at the hotel. The front desk was quick and helpful. The cleaning ladies did a fine job everyday. The bartender was nice but our drink wasn't great. CASINO — Loss some pts here since there was some construction. See pool comments. It did either smell like paint or water damage. Since the construction and smell I didn't gamble much there and maube lost $20 bucks in the slots. It didn't smell too bad of smoke. POOL — Have to say most disappointed the pool was closed for construction. They did not seal the pool correctly and when it rained it flooded the casino which is why some of the slots were closed. I would have gone to the pool. It should be open summer 2016.

The following happened to me two weeks ago. I have emailed the casino and they asked for more info so they could "look into it" and I havent heard anything else. I feel that people should know that this casino does not value the safety of their patrons at all. This is the email I sent them: That evening, while my husband was gambling at a table, I used the ladies room on the casino floor. While I was in the stall, a woman in the stall next to me reached over the top of the stalls and took a photo of me on the toilet with her phone. I immediately began yelling, and once I exited the stall I spoke to a female employee of yours who was in the restroom cleaning. This employee offered no assistance, and continued with her work, ignoring me. I waited in the restroom for the other woman to exit her stall, as I wanted to make sure the photo was deleted from her phone. While I waited for her to exit, her friend entered the bathroom and began threatening me. They laughed and insulted me when I asked to see the photo be deleted. I exited the restroom, and immediately found a security guard on the casino floor. I told him what happened, and pointed out the women as they were exiting the restroom. The guard called a second guard over and relayed what happened. The second guard shrugged and said "We can't do anything about that. " My husband and I left the casino immediately. I cannot understand how three different employees offered no assistance whatsoever.

Very fun, with all the services, very well located although the place is somewhat old, needs remodeling.

Went to Oscar's for a nice steak dinner with friends. Steaks were well prepared if only a little underdone for my taste. My medium rare rib eye wasn't just pink in the middle it had a good portion that was very rare/raw. Seafood sampler was very large but would have preferred the king crab legs and lobster tails to be warm/steamed. While platter is served chilled. Had 2 Manhattan's w dinner. Very good and very strong.

The rooms are small but clean. The biggest problem was the front desk clerk who not only lied when we checked in but he was extremely rude and condescending. Location was great for being on Fremont Street but the repairs on the pool make the casino an eye sore and the casino smells terrible. I recommend staying at the Golden Nugget if you want to be on Fremont and have pool access since there is no pool at the plaza.

The hotel is old and poorly maintained it was flooding with a little bit of rain.

Room and halls smell of sewage. No fridge in the room. Very small bathroom and toilet is slow to flush. The house kerping staff is great but the front desk staff is not. They are severly understaffed making for long lines and wait times to check in. They also treat you poorly once youre in as they make feel its a burden to have to assist you. In short its the worst stay ive had at an off strip hotel and I wont be returning.

I checked in on February 9, 2014, for four nights. At first everything was fine, I got to my room and took a shower, then watched the news. When I went downstairs to the internet kiosk in the food court and sat down to attempt to read the instructions, I saw someone charging up to me on my right in my peripheral vision, then I turned my head to the right to see who it was, it was a Plaza security guard. He told me to leave and asked for my ID.

I love this hotel 2nd year we've been here my husband and I spent our anniversary here and we won't go anywere else. The food at the hash house go go was the best omg the best we'll be going back next year for our 8th year anniversary.

We'd never gone to The Plaza before. We had only been to the four main casinos on Fremont on past visits to Vegas. The Plaza's game floor was pretty nice. Not very crowded in the middle of the day, much less cramped than Binions or Golden Nugget. I walked out with $50 more than I walked in with, so I'll go back next year.

The Plaza hotel and Casino is a casino good and the hotel is not bad but for the price, I wanted more.

I actually wanted to see the Casino from the movie Back to the future, then went in and had an entertaining evening at the Play.

Horrible Casino Host, referring to Jim Carribis. After 15 years of loyalty group of 16-20 members staying here 4 nights in Feb. … first time not comped for all nights. He states there's no record of me staying there… how do you charge my credit card without me staying there… then I tell him I'll give him the last four numbers of the credit card billed… and then he starts talking about 911 and if I know what that's about… this he where I got pissed… I'm a retired Navy Chief, served this country for 21 years between 1981 — 2002. I think I have an idea of what terrorism and identity theft is. When you start referring to me as a Terrorist trying to get $220 room comp, … good luck getting our business back. And by the way we stayed in North Tower 9th floor hallway smelled like a sewage dump!

Went to a Timeshare meeting. The hotel is nice. Kind of lay back. Mostly an older crowd. Ate at Hash House a Go Go and the waiter was cool. Food was excellent!

Well located, the service is good and it is a very limpo.

Very unsatisfied. I won a trip and it let me stay in this hotel. It said that check in was on Friday and we arrived early at 5am on Friday. We knew we probably couldn't check in then but went in to see when we could. The man behind the counter said that check in wasn't until 12pm but said he would talk to his manager and see what he could do. He came back and said that the manager would let us come back and check in at 8am. Seemed reasonable. So my group went back to the car and slept for 3 hours. At 8am we grabbed all our bags and headed back inside to check in only to find out that new people were at the counter and wouldn't let us check in unless we paid $66 for Thursday night or make us wait an additional 4 hours to check in. The manager that promised us that we could check in early had left and the current manager on duty refused to hear our case. So in the end they made us pay for Thursday night even though it was 8am Friday morning. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone unless you like having staff members make promises they refuse to keep.

Well I went to the Plaza for a Presentation and ended up Loving the Hotel and the staff is Amazing, Food Great, Rooms Huge, and it was my first time there so I had know Idea its Was that much to do off of Freemont St! Maybe its the Vibe but for some reason I managed to stay around the Hotel more than usual. Last thing it was a BlackJack game outside that got Pretty interesting but probably because I almost won. But either way im Going Back when the times right thats for sure.

Got here on a Monday (yesterday) check in was perfect even got an amazing view in south tower. Room is beautiful but the bathroom is a huge downfall… being the toilet and shower or in their own closet is nice but a closet it really is… can't even close the door to use toilet unless you step into the shower. Huge downfall also was the fact that our car was broken into and stuff was taken out. Hotel security was notified and statements and pictures done… evidence was also taken when the police should have it. We were never given a report number apology nothing. Told to check back in few days. Nothing about the video in parking ramp even. I'm guessing it's because their shift was over and didn't care. I recommend using valet parking since it's free anyways. Other than that hotel is nice.

Horrible! cockroaches, fart smells, food poisoning from oscars resturant. Hotel manager was rude when my husband got food poisoning from Oscars resturant. She said take it up with the resturant. They are seperate from us. But when 25 guest with 12 rooms all complained about the plumbing she said " that happens in all hotels" about the bad smelling drains and dirty bathtubs that fill half way up while showering. When Oscars resturant manager was confronted with the food posioning he blew it off and didn't believe us. He said "It takes 14 hours to get food poisoning". We told him that one couple with our group was served a cockroach on the appitizer plate, he acted like it was common place and was not shocked at all. This place is disgusting — do not stay here!

I made my reservation like two months ago when I got to the hotel from Los Angeles to check in and I realize I didn't have my current ID because I went to the bank the day before and by mistake I left it in my pants. They treat me like if I was there enemy the manager told me with a very bad attitude that there was nothing he can do even when I told him that I can give him $500 deposit he told me that no one in Vegas will accept that. Terrible customer service I would never ever would make a reservation there. I just went to cross the street explain my situation in the Goldengate and they made an exception and rent me a room… I don't know what this people talking about good customer service. They are rude and careless especially the manager.

I recently stayed at the Plaza for a conference with my sister and mother. We were quoted a very low rate for the conference. We thought about changing to another hotel upon arrival, but decided to stick it out at a sub-par hotel due to the cheap rate. We were charged an additional fee for a third person, which had not been quoted. We had also been told that the cheap rate applied to our whole stay, and it did not. I spoke with an individual on the phone when booking the room, and with another individual upon checking in to the hotel. Both confirmed the rate for each night. We checked out and the rate seemed high, so we looked the bill over carefully and realized the mistake. I spoke with several people, including manager Taj, and they agreed to take off $57, but not the whole amount extra that we were charged. We were also charged a $15 daily resort fee. I know that this is pretty standard, but you would anticipate some sort of resort feature for a resort fee. The pool equipment was stacked haphazardly around basketball and tennis courts. There were broken items out as well. These facilities looked as though they have not been used in years. We ate at several of the restaurants, and never went back to any for a second time. Our waiter at Hash House a Go Go was very nice, but he had to bring our food back several times because it was cold to the touch (not even luke warm. ) Even when he had it brought out a second time, the food was not super hot.

Located across from action alley or better known as Freemont st. Well kept, wiffi was fast, great price. I stayed three days and would stay here again. Negative side no frig in room.

A hotel & Casino in iconic Las Vegas, a host of world tournaments of poker and Hollywood movies. Newly renovated in 2011 with modern rooms, the casino is very extensive and in my opinion the best of Fremont st.

I stay in a lot of hotels/casinos in Las Vegas. So I know a good one when I see it. This was my first time staying at The Plaza. It is now one of my favorites. The rooms are large and spacious and clean. The Wi-Fi is screaming fast. I look forward to staying here again.

Overall was OK for cleanliness, staff was alright. But went to the room and turned on the AC and the fan was making a horrendous noise. Couldn't even stand it. Thank God it was cool and not dead winter.

The Plaza Hotel is located in the heart of downtown, at the start of the Fremont Street Experience. The tower closest to the valet is mych nicer than the tower near the front desk. There is a food court with McDonald's, Subway, a taco place, and a pastry counter. There is also Pop up Pizza and Hash House a Go Go in the lobby. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel that's downtown at a reasonable price, the Plaza is a great option. Aside from the standard rooms they also offer suites.

Pros: cheap and clean. Decent view of fremont and mountains. Friendly staff. Comps a plenty. Hash house a go go is great and oscars was one of the best meals ive ever had. Close walk to all of downtown and walking distance from o face doughnuts Cons: shower wouldnt get cold, no roulette machines, TV was impossible to navigate,

Place is a dump. Good luck with getting a "non smoking" room (aka smoking room with ash trays temporarily removed). Called to ask for an extra pillow and blanket, waited 30 minutes… nothing, called again… another 30 minutes. Horrible food selection, no in-room movies. Stay elsewhere.

Fast check in, clean rooms, Great low rates on the rooms, just keep in mind that they are pretty dated and some even need remodeling. You might recognize the front entrance from TV shows, movies and music videos. Parking is strictly just for hotel guest and you will get towed if you don't stay there. If you get a room facing the front you'll have a great view of Fremont street as well as walking distance to all the area.

I had the worst service at this hotel. It was not my choice of hotel but I bought a deal. I will now never pick a hotel near fremount st. While the view from the room was nice the sound was not, which I heard on the 20th floor even past 1pm. The hotel switched my room the next night saying it wasn't loud south tower, it was still loud. The worst service was when I signed up for the rewards club they went over all the rules except the most important one. The service here was so bad even though the room was nice I'd never be back. I'd seriously rather stay at a marriott hotel. I won't be spending any more money here. While I liked the pizza place I'll go somewhere else for breakfast and lunch.

The good: We were able to get a pretty good deal on a room, and the room was decently sized. As its off of Freemont, there was no outside noise you could hear from the room. You can get to the north tower from the parking structure through the 3rd floor so you don't have to walk through the casino, which was fantastic. The bad: There were lots of broken things in the room, such as the towel bar. It wasn't very clean, we found trash all over the room. The sink was filthy, full of hair in the drain, and reeked of sewage. A lot of the hallways also had a strong sewer smell. The parking was a long walk from the north tower where we stayed.

I made a reservation at this hotel the rooms were super clean n nice the only thing I did not like was that when my family n I went to eat out side n housekeeping came in to clean the room they did not change the bed sheets I notice that when I undid the bed because my grandson ate chocolate n it stain the bed. I ask my self a question if they do this all the time. Watting time to check in was about 30 to 45 min also this hotel needs more pools other then that my stay was how I planed it.

My Wife and I stayed here this last weekend and I loved it. We stayed in the North tower with our 2 kids and the room was updated and clean. Check in took about 10 minutes and the lady was extremely nice and gave me tips where to gamble, get my drink on, and where to take the kids. The Hash House Restaurant was excellent and went there 3 times. Just across the street from downtown and had a great time. If you are really conservative I would not recommend bringing your kids to downtown on a Friday/Saturday night but my kids had fun. A lot of drunks out but my kids liked having their pics taken with DC/Marvel characters working for tips on the street. Saw Toad the Wet Sprocket performing live on Saturday night and it was wild. Everyone at the Plaza was nice and got some good information from the bartender of where to go for some adult entertainment once the kids goto bed. Will stay here again. The check out process took about 15 minutes on Sunday but the line moved quickly.

There's nothing special about this hotel. The reason why I stayed at The Plaza is because of a seminar. The ice machines never works from the fifth floor to the eleventh floor, the beds are like laying on cinder blocks with sheets. When we need extra pillows it will take over three hours and we have to call again to get what we want. And just trying to check in is such a chore. I rather stay at the Gold nugget and pay the differents.

I have allways enjoyed my stay at the Plaza, the rooms are big clean beds are comfy. I realy love this hotel and love staying there when I'm in downtown vegas.

I'm staying here less and less. After the remodel, I had high hopes for this hotel. Oscars Steak House is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas and the atmosphere is amazing. Too bad the Hotel is already goinng down hill. Notice to management: I'm pretty sure I can get a 20 year old to be rude to me but not when I'm a customer. I stayed there the 11th and 12th of April and I'm not hard to please but if the bitch that checked me in worked for me, I would have fired her for such poor customer service.

Ive stayed at the Hotel many times. Great place, awesome rates and in the heart of downtown. Its not perfect but your not overpaying like the strip hotels. Comfortable beds and great views. Remember its not the Ritz were you pay for that kinda of service but it is very nice, clean and affordable so you can have more money for the tables or machines.

Stood in line for an hour and a half to check in. Two people working and then one was gone. At least 40 people behind us. When he finally came back I was informed they were "union" and required to take a break. But no one relieved him while on break? Very rude when I questioned him and I then told him I certainly would not be back and his reply was "no problem". Hotel states all remodeled. Do NOT stay in the South Tower. New sinks in the bathroom but a sewer smell coming from the sink was disgusting. The rest of the room was worn and the view horrendous and I was probably given that room because the front desk CSR was mad when questioned. I could go on and on. Will NEVER stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a vacation club package to get us to buy into the program. I did not have a choice so I I could do was read reviews and try to get a feel for what we were going to expect. I can honestly say that we were expecting the worst after reading through a variety of reviews. None of what I read was close to the experience we had during our late March 2015 visit. The staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. The rooms were quite large for the money and I would agree that the shower/toilet room was small (30" from tub to door), but it was not so small as to warrant a complaint. Many people complained in previous reviews that the hotel parking was connected to the bus terminal and that vagrants were a problem because of it. Not true. It is connected to a Greyhound bus terminal and not a city bus terminal. No issues at all You cannot beat the location being right across the street from the entrance to The Fremont Experience. I would recommend spending the extra $10 to get a Fremont Street view room. You will not regret it. We were on the 6th floor and it was perfect. Noise from Fremont was also a common complaint and I feel that that to be someone needing some expectation management. We slept with the window open and did not find it to be bad at all. Yes there was music going to 2am, but you’re in Vegas. We really enjoyed the visit and would stay again.

First of all, the check in process was the worst ever. I arrived at 12:30 am, thiinking it would be a breeze to check in. Far from it — in front of me were two sets of people from other countries. One lady had a very strange looking I. D. (looked like from a third world country. ) The lone person at the desk disappeared for a good seven minutes to go "check on it. " Then when he would not let them check in the girl was crying. Then for the other customer, they gave them all sorts of additional fees they were not expecting. Speaking of expecting, the woman behind me was very pregnant and not expecting all this hassle either (especially at this hour of the night. ).

We have stayed here several times in the past few years. Their staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms were just great. No complaints.

Went for business. Rooms were modern, roomy, and clean. Had access to many amenities. The plaza felt like a resort. I will definately go back when I am in the area. The only reason I gave the hotel 3 stars was because the lines for check in and check out were excessive. There was only one person at the desk at night. The wait to check in was more than 40min. However the staff at the desk was very nice.

So I recently stayed here for four nights on vacation. I read reviews on the terrible service, but I figured I'd give it a try anyway since it was relatively cheap. Wrong. I won't ever be staying here again. When my fiancé and I first got to the hotel on Friday night, the line to check in was to the door. I figured it wouldn't be long, so I stayed patient for the first THIRTY MINUTES. There was only one person working and the people in front of us were taking a little bit longer. Which was fine and all, it wasn't their fault, but there was ONE PERSON WORKING AT THE FRONT DESK. One. A younger lady showed up and helped two customers check in, then left and let the long line just sit there. Absolutely terrible customer service. The management must not care about customers if they only have one person working the front desk on a Friday night. Once we FINALLY got checked in, it was fine. But it gets better. After the first shower I took the bathroom tub filled up with water and there was nothing we could do about it. Nothing went down the drain that we can think of. Super dirty. Also, the lining of our hotel room was filled with dust and random stained on the carpet. Our room was super small. The pictures they post online are complete B. S. The bathroom is extremely small too. I reserved a room with a king size bed and got a room with double beds.

It was here that I spent 5 of the most memorable days in my life. Liked it very much, well done.

Stayed for 3 nights. Reserved a NON smoking room, was given a smoking room. Wasn't offered anything as compensation for their mistake. They didn't offer to let me switch or put me on a waiting list or anything. Didn't win at blackjack which is understandable, but at least the dealers were friendly. Food at the restaurant was good, service there too. Overall place seems run down. Asked several staff where the shuttle picks up at, nobody knew. Both lights in my room didn't work when I got there. Figured out that one bulb was unscrewed, most likely because there was no switch by the bed. Other bulb was out. Cell phone reception was non existent. Bed had hairs on it which made me think they remade the bed without switching linens. Not impressed. Next time I will spend the extra few bucks to get a nicer option somewhere else. You totally get what you pay for.

We had no problems checking in or out. Very friendly staff and love to stay on Fremont St. Rooms were clean, food was great and had a wonderful time as always. We have stayed at The Plaza for about seven years. Will not stay anywhere else.

We chose The Plaza for our stay in Vegas for two reasons, the first is it sits at the end of Fremont Street and second, I loved Back to the Future and The Plaza was the exterior of Biff Tannen's Pleasure Paradise. This hotel is old, so don't expect the same level of classiness you'd see at Aria or Bellagio. When pulling onto the garage, which will cost you $5 if you don't check in first and get your parking pass (they refund the $5 dollars at check in), the garage is dingy and dirty. The elevators to the casino floor are disgusting. I was having second thoughts as soon as we saw the duck taped carpeting in the elevator waiting area off the garage. The whole casino floor smells like someone got spray happy with the Fabreeze. Once we entered our room, we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was recently remodeled, so everything felt fresh and new, though the use of space was odd and clunky. The toilet/shower area was tiny and impossible to open the bathroom door while standing normally inside. A wall safe was provided, however it was not operating properly so I called down and they sent up a tech and security to repair it. They "repaired" it, however we were told the battery was low, but we "should be ok". Why didn't they just replace it while they were there? The shower stopper was broken, so we had to lodge a tube of the complimentary soap under it to make sure the tub would drain.

Very nice villa room wa really fine have much schlimmerre all lives is good views and many bars. Close.

Terrible hotel on top of central bus sta tion in the dirty area of downtown. A non smoking rooms only on 3rd floor where windows are looking out to downtown shopping area where laud music plays all night or to the service roof where noise from air compressors is too laud as well. In both cases you cannot sleep. Rooms seems to be renovated however have tiny tab with toilet together and small vanity. No coffeemaker or kettle on the room. No fridge as well.

Recently stayed at The Plaza hotel in Las Vegas. As always we had a great stay. My wife and I love this hotel. The staff is always friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. We cannot wait to go back.
