Very friendly and helpful staff. I only needed a place to shower and change my clothes before heading on and this was perfect. Parking area could have more signage but overall it delivered on it's expectations.

Great service clean rooms friendly staff. I'm so impressed with this hostel. Service and facility is better then half the casinos in vegas. And the price was excellent no casino can beat it. Will stay there again.

Love this place because it's affordable and the staff is great. If you do not want to spend tons of money while in Vegas, this is the place for you. They have a pool which is great because it's so hot here. They also have small movie room with 16 seats, the pool table, and the kitchen where you can cook your own food. Absolutely love it here.

The best hostel international that I have been. Good deal, cheap, the people are very sociable and pool. All this close to old las vegas.

Booked here after 6 days at Sin City Hostel. Didn't stay for more than 10 mins. It is smelly and cramped. Rooms/dorms are nothing like In the pictures. Room I was allocated was dirty and claustrophobic. The lady who checked me in and out was friendly and polite which is the nicest thing I can say. Pool was dirty, again nothing like the photos. Area is not one I'd have felt comfortable with. Most definitely would not recommend this hostel to anyone, nor the local wildlife. Do yourself a favour, find somewhere else.

My stay at the hostel was awesome. Met some cool people passing thru and had a chill time. Best of all Jem at the front desk clerk was the greatest. She was so sweet and accommodating. She helped me out a lot. She was very detailed and a delight to be around. There is also free breakfast in the morning total win! And a nice pool and there is a restaurant on both sides of the hostel. Thanks for the stay. Will return.

I liked the place for the price, the only downside was the air conditioner that sometimes did not work well, but from there on out the truth is that for the price you pay this very comfortable and quiet.

The hostel is a nice place. The people who work here are very Friendly. Thank you Jasmine and Derek for your great service. There is also food right next door. The pool is clean. They have a pool table lots of space to relax… I would definitely stay here again.

The hostel is OK but the staff is not very attentive and does not show much desire to work. The cleanliness is not very good.

This is a nice place to rest and shower. Clean sheets. 6 to 8 beds in a room. Crystal blue pool to relax and slam beers. Fully equipped kitchen with 3 refrigerators. Meet people from all over. Highly recommend it.

I stayed there for 2 nights. This is very nice place to stay. Staff is very humble and its tariff is very reasonable. Also its location is very good as it is closed to walking street in Las Vegas.

A central location where you can stay at a cheap price.

Sharing room with strangers I'm more of a privacy person 32$ for tonight isn't bad at all but the fact being in a room full of unknown people isn't comfortable especially if your a couple… I mean they have a private room but 100$ especially the area wasn't suite for me but maybe for others.

Don't stay here if you can afford to go elsewhere. Really rundown and lights in the rooms don't work most of the time. Doesn't feel safe to stay here.

Great staff. Love the cultural Flags on the doors & walls. Bunkbeds are surprisingly comfortable. Pool & hot tub area clean and inviting. Pool was chilly but hot tub was perfect. My stay was in January. There's even a barbecue grill here if anybody wants to grill outside pool side. Pleasantly pleased.

It's a rather nasty place in a rundown area with dilapidated vacated motels and homes. Crack heads roam the streets. Homies hanging out at the corner liquor store. Looks like a scene from a gangsta rap video. I held my breath as I walked from the lobby up to my room on the third floor because of all the marijuana and tobacco odors… The good points about this place is the staff which seems fairly friendly and there is hot water readily available… If it's winter, I suggest bringing your own blanket. The hostel only provides a sheet to cover with… Have fun!

No hand soap in the bathrooms, no baths allowed, we're lucky they supplied half a roll of TP. Oh and if you check in after dark good luck turning lights on. The lamps needed to be plugged in to work but you had to do it in the dark lol. Besides that the sheets were clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was… dirty dishes, bad coffee, one stove we just went to starbucks.

A little further away from where most of the other hostels in the city are, but only a few blocks away from the downtown area known as Fremont East, which happens to be a nice artsy hip area filled with restaurants, cafes, bars, the Container Park… and a little further away the Fremont Street Experience. So a better location to stay at if you're looking to be closer to that area of Las Vegas.

Good value. Staffs are kind. Needs to go outside to get coins and detergent for laundry. Could hit your head a lot at bunker bed.

More than a hostel looks like a homeless hostel. Drunks, dope, fights and noises are a continuum in the building. Common Areas dirty and neglected.
The only good thing, the parking closed.

Hostel is good. Even has a pool and hot tub. The location is not so great, unfortunately. Outside are a lot of weird people. Old Vegas is about a 15-minute walk away. The cleanliness according to most hostels rather not present in the rooms. Kitchen is so far clean. Even Billiard table available, TV room, washing machine etc.

Fair price, but bare basics. You need to ask for blankets. No soap provided, just a bed to sleep in. Hot tub is nice, but jet switch is a long walk from the tub to turn back on. Breakfast runs out fast and is only pancake batter or oatmeal that you can make yourself. No soap to wash dishes.

When we got close to the hostel and parked on the street, two cops pulled up and told us that we shouldn't be parking there because someone will break in. After they left TWO homeless men approached us and would not leave until we got in the building. Thankfully the hostel has gated parking! Check in was quick and service was great! Once we got to our 6 bed shared room and opened the door, the heat hit us in the face. Absolutely NO AC in this room. The bunk beds were very noisy. Top bunk only a couple feet from ceiling. Next morning we paid to upgrade our room to a single sleeper. This room was PERFECT. Big bed, clean sheets. Please be warned before you go — this hotel does not offer certain aminities such as; hand soap, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, lock for locker, or any Advil or other headache relief.

Pretty typical hostel experience. Friendly staff that did tend to take their time, fairly clean rooms, fresh sheets, good pool, inexpensive stay.

The Overview: Awful Customer Service and Basic Amenities, Don't Waste Your Time The Good: There was a kitchen that guests could use. The other guests that I met were friendly and interesting. The Bad: I stayed in a mixed gender, 8 bed room during the Life Is Beautiful festival. The service at this hostel is awful. Primarily, the employees were rude and unprofessional. Also, there was no soap (hand or body) in the bathroom. The room itself was not clean; they didn't seem to perform housekeeping in between guests. I had to tidy up the room before I was able to settle in. I let a male guest in my room use my personal body wash, since the hostel had none. I let another male guest (who transferred into my room after his suitcase was stolen from another) use my socks as a substitute for washcloths, as the hostel had none. I went to the 7-11 and the convenience store nearby to purchase a washcloth; they were both sold out. Why should I have to do that if I was paying for accommodations at Las Vegas Hostel? I went to the front desk of the hostel to file a complaint; the desk attendant, Annette, tried to get me arrested and refused to get me a refund for the trouble. I have a squeaky clean record and was polite and complied with the officers. The police agreed with me that the situation was ridiculous. The property manager, Juan (real name later discovered to actually be Gerardo Ojeda), even got in my face. Very unprofessional.

Decent place to stay. The area around it sucks, but hey, it's America. The hot water worked and their is A/C in the rooms and that's all that matters to me. The beds we're good too.

The overall atmosphere on the end of staff and business relations was perfect. The young man I Check In with at 11:30 PM was quick, friendly, and gave me any tips I'd need while handing me my sheets for the night. The Bunk Bed was well built enough to with few squeaks hold my 6'1" 185 lbs frame. The bathroom was orderly. There were lockers for bags, they weren't necessary. The pool offers a nice common area to gather at seemingly all times of day. Then there was breakfast. Coffee and Pancakes on the house. The only catch is you have make these things yourself. This process can be like morning television. Check Out was smooth. The young woman behind the counter was just as great as the young man the previous shift. You get the kind of room you sign up for. You are gambling accommodations with people. This is a cool experience for someone just floating around. It can be a very great base of operations to meet new people to go do things with. Every Individual is allot 14 Days to stay here a year. This isn't the place for someone that NEEDS PRIVACY. You can get a better deal at a casino if you're trying to spend more than $40 a night.

The pool was fun. I did not stay overnight nor would I want to. The staff is very friendly and they have a lot to offer. It's basically an old motel that is now rented as a hostel.

Well worth the price. Shared room is What one would expect. Comfortable bunks. And very clean grounds. I arrived at 3am and they were still able to check me in. Very nice staff. Very cool room keys.

Very poor management! I stayed 6 nights and TWICE, my bed was sold to a new guest. When trying to get my stuff back which was removed by the house keeper by mistake, I got NO help from the desk! 2 girls had to share one bed with paying for 2. The floor stank and bathroom was filthy! The photos the business shows were probably taken quite some years ago. Also~there was NO breakfast as the business claims on the website or over the phone! You pay to discover disappointments…

5 star experience. The sensible and approachable staff did a job above and beyond the call of duty, and seem to work in this manner at all times, effortlessly. "Another day at the office" for employees here amounted to flexibility and accommodation that made my stay a memorable experience. A special thank you to Matt that worked hard to ensure a fantastic and comfortable stay during my time in Vegas. As a writer still I struggle to express in words the value of my time here. Simply put — many thanks!

I fully believe these guys should have a higher rate! Kitchen was nice & staff was amazingly helpful! I have stayed here a few times now and it is my go to place! Off the strip (so fairly quiet! ) but close to Fremont and the bus system is good! I am looking forward to being there again later this year! The area of town isn't fabulous but if you are street savvy you will be just fine! Viva Las Vegas!

Wow just wow if you are having a hard time and need a place this is the place you go this is the place. The workers were very kind and polite the rooms were clean and the locker were great and safe (bring a small lock) the location a a small walk but worth it and finally the prices were very wallet friendly and finally remember how much your paying for (don't expect to much luxury from this place is to give you a helping hand not a HOTEL) WILL COME BACK IF I COME TO VEGAS AGAIN.

Calm but no television even in my private room. You are cut off from the world except you play the radio on your phone. Wi-Fi doesn't work with my Samsung tablet. Still the room is decent and comfortable. A TV in the room will revolutionize this quiet and cool hideout.

This place is an average hostel but I think it's one of the cheapest you can find in Las Vegas. The dorm rooms are simple with 4 bunk beds but the room has its own bathroom with a bathtub; so that's a very good point. Most of the hostels I've been to have public toilets/showers for the whole floor. The Wi-Fi's a bit slow-ish but good enough to do regular work-stuff with and the common areas are big. There's a pool table, a big TV-room with 20-something seats, a pool area and a jacuzzi; not bad for 13 bucks a night. There's a kitchen anybody can use and the free included breakfast is unlimited (tasty) pancakes. The staff is friendly and they don't overdo it.

I was asked for a passport… Since when is a passport required within my own country? How come my state issued driver's license isn't good enough? Social Security doesn't require a passport to verify me. Hospitals don't require a passport. Hell, even the police don't ask for a passport. Glad I didn't waste my money in this cheap, and not in a good way from the reviews I've read, location. Really appreciated that subtle racism.

I was passing through Las Vegas solo, and had a great time going out with other people at the hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed. Location was a 5-10 minute walk to bars and casinos. I also appreciated the locked gated area to park my rental car.

Really nice at the reception! the rooms arent that nice for the United States! I have stayed in Mexico in better ones! (and they cost 7-12 dollars a night)

An amazing place for living. It's really cheap around 10-12$ including tax and everything. The staffs are really kind. All the people staying their are like you and me looking for cheap but secured hostel. U can even drop ur bags after u checkout even. In the dormitory a girl also stayed with us, it's perfectly safe and nice environment. If u really trust me just ignore all other remarks and stay their. U will definitely then agree with me. 5 star for them.

The female clerk has a great smile and she's hot.

Hostel location to "life is beautiful" was top notch! And the receptionist was super helpful and knowledgeable, will stay again. Love you Vegas Room was spacious "6 bed dorm" with ensuite, nice pool free pool table. Downside is a bit of a rough location but we never had any troubles.

I like it :) the buildings are a lil run down but not really ghetto fo real with no bad vibe at all. Cool counter people. They mustve had some characters here like big kids cuz the rules are interesting but understandable. Bed is ok in private room. Good temporary place before finding a weekly. Close to Fremont experience and markets for food. Cute pool and jacuzzi which is sweet for a hostel. Use the sheet not the blanket on bare skin cuz a lil scratchy. All in all after one nite, cool and chill. :) total happy camper ♥.

This is an awesome HOSTEL (not hotel! ). Everything you want in a hostel experience with an awesome staff. The neighborhood is now patrolled by police 24/7 and everyone here says its a million times better then it was. Great place to rest your head, and have a great time while meeting new people.

Stayed there with two friends (and shared the room with 6 more German guys) for two nights around New Year's Eve. It is a hostel, so do not expect the hotel experience. We decided to stay in a hostel so that we get to know people to party with on New Year's Eve, and it was the right choice. All you can make pancakes for breakfast (just like the other hostels of the USA Hostels chain). We could park our car in a closed yard, and the staff was really helpful. The neighborhood did not look safe, but common sense helps (not walking alone at night flashing money and looking like the typical victim). Don't go there for wellness or honeymoon. Go there to meet travelers like yourself or people to hang out and share a drink with.

Total crap hole in horrific hood (unless u like crack/meth/getting robbed). Took one look at the area and left. Went back to the area under the Fremont St. Experience and got a safe, private room for 30$. Avoid this dump there's lots of better cheap places in Vegas. Don't wreck your trip by fearing for your life in this crime infested dump. Ever watch CSI and hear them talking about E. Fremont St. Having murders and drug dealing? THIS is the hood they're talking about. Nasty.
