I don't usually write reviews but I couldn't let this one go. If you like terrible customer service, disgusting rooms and a gross eating area during a pandemic, this is the hotel for you. I booked 3 nights but upon arrival I asked to change my reservation from 3 nights to 2 nights, hoping for a refund for the 3rd unused night. The woman I spoke with when I checked in said I would need to speak with Expedia. Expedia says I need to speak with the hotel. At the end of the day I won't be getting a refund for the 3rd night but that isnt the issue. When I was discussing the matter with the operatiins supervisor Lynda Ball she was unneccesarily rude. After going back and forth about the policy I said thank you and walked away. As I was walking away she yelled after me and said "If you want to check out early, you can do that. You just wont be getting a refund" I'm not sure why she felt she needed to say that after I had already accepted I wasnt getting a refund. Just rude for no reason and with all that attitude. Also if you have any concerns about staying in a hotel during this pandemic DO NOT STAY HERE! I'm clearly upset about how I was treated regarding my refund but that just added to the terrible experience. The cleanliness of this place is not what you want when trying to feel comfortable with your family during Covid. I ended up having to go to Marshall's down the street just get new pillow cases. They all smelled like really strong bug spray. There are signs that say masks are required but they let people do what they want. The breakfast area had one nasty available table that needed to be cleared and wiped down. I asked if I could sit at the table with all the unfinished plates and leftover food on it and the lady just handed me a napkin. Even before Covid that would've been nasty. I just took my food back to my room. This isn't a 5 star hotel so I wasn't expecting anything amazing, I would just like to think that the bare minimum would be the safety of their guests during a time like this. Do yourself a favor, pay a few more dollars and stay somewhere else.
