Despicable customer service! I was Refused a room for absolutely no reason I bought this room overnight because I was a falling asleep at the wheel yet she refused to serve me! the lady even call the sheriffs department on me while I was waiting for my refund through booking. Com.

On vacation for Mardi Gras and decided to stay a at this location, the first few days went well, the staff was amazing but sadly towards the latter part or my stay I had problems with the cleaning and evening staff. The cleaning staff failed to services me room 3 of the 6 days I stayed. The last evening the room was simply unacceptable and I had no choice but to request another room, it was 12:30AM on the 29th of February, 2019. My last night in town and I had to deal with this issue. At first I thought the overnight staff was sincerely trying to help me but when I asked for another room on the same floor (1st) she informed me there was only 2nd and 3rd floor rooms available, keep in mind there’s 2 of us and we each have 2 large suitcases, and 1 small suitcase (6 in total) I agree to accept the room on the 2nd floor because there’s no other choice, she then gives me the room at the complete other end of the elevator. I arrive to the room to find that it has a mildew smell, no comforter (it’s 40 degrees, ) the heater doesn’t work well and not even a telephone in the room to call downstairs to complain about it. I call the front desk from my cell phone and let the issues be known, I then ask if there’s at least a comforter so we can sleep “warm” as I’m already sick.

Quiet hotel setting, very comfortable beds and great staff.

Newly renovated, needs hangars in the rooms, there's a light on the wall that doesn't turn off with the switch at the door or anywhere, TV remote doesn't have a sleep timer. Heater/AC is quiet, nice shower, sink is at a decent level for adults, 48"flat screen TV. Fridge and micro work great, coffee pot with career. 2_3cups, rooms are carpeted.

Had family stay there July 2018 and their room was dirty. They were suppose to get 2 queen beds and ended up with a queen and a double. The bathroom was stained (or dirty). The dinette area is very small for the continental brkfst. The only plus is that it is close to the I-10 on ramp. It needs a total renovation.

Okay for sleeping and customer service was nice. No pool as stated and reason for staying. Customer service mentioned that they recently fired the company that service the pool. Room shower door was not the right door.

My visit was excellent. Room clean. Bed Comfy. Front desk clerk Victoria needs a payraise just for having to deal with me. I bombarded her with questions and she was very knowledgeable with her answers to my questions about the area and polite. She never led on that she was running out if patience with me. She held her composer and was overly helpful. Will definitely be staying here when I'm in the area again.

I recently stayed at this property for a week and found the accommodations an excellent value for the price I paid. Here are the positives: Quiet location, with very easy access to I-10. Property was well maintained, all public areas were well lit and very clean. Room was very clean. A/C unit worked very well, not too noisy. Bed was comfortable, TV and free-internet worked just fine. Standard breakfast fare like most hotels, well stocked and very clean. Nice walk-in shower. The hotel is currently under renovation, but we were not bothered by the construction, our room was on 3rd floor and current work is being done on the first floor. The current rooms here are a little dated, but in talking with the staff they will be updated during the renovation. The rooms are a little smaller than your usual hotel room, but not too uncomfortable. If you had a lot of luggage, your room could feel a bit cramped. The staff at this property is OUTSTANDING, very nice, polite and accommodating. Looking forward to staying at this property on future trips to Slidell.

We had a very nice room at the Sleep Inn the staff was very accommodating very pleasant and very polite. They were also able to give us an excellent recommendation for a dinner reservation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

I was in this location but really I was at home with my kids but my husband GPS is connected to mine. So this is only some of the stuff I see and he thinks I don't know. Well I'm with our u small kids 24/7 so everyone knows for a fact I wasn't here. No one wants to give me the proof hard proof they enjoy playing a wife n her kids. The world today just gimme 1 decent person so we can stop dealing with it lol man.

Nice quiet hotel. A good stay for those wanting to be close to New Orleans without being too close.

Comfortable beds, really nice shower big enough for two people. We were on the road side of hotel, there was a fair amount of road or car noise. For a clean place just for overnight we had a nice stay. Also complimentary breakfast was good, food and plenty of it.

The mattress were too hard for me, but the rest of the room was lovely. It was also a bit inconvenient not to have lamps by the bed. The breakfast was tasty.

Front desk staff was nice but. Room was not fully clean when we arrived. Chairs in the room were covered in food and crumbs. There was no hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, or anything in the room. Room smelled of old cigarette smoke. No plugs close to bed. Bathroom was tiny & unclean, no room to change. Looks like they have tried to cheaply update. Bad paint jobs, gaps in ceiling and trim, holes from pictures in wall, old style TV and old style coffee maker which I didn't use do to looking like it wasn't cleaned properly. My son and I both only ate the eggs at the free breakfast. They tasted horrid. We both ended up vomiting several times over next 48hrs. It was a horrible experience and we will not stay here again. We could have stayed at holiday inn cheaper.

The rooms are nice and clean, also the breakfast and the staff are very nice and friendly.

All the staff were awesome. The lobby is clean and organized. But it has a medicinal odor. Our room was comfortable and clean excepg for th left corner in the bathroom, it appeared that some one vomited ion the floor and it dried in the corner and the grout.

We booked a room on points here for the night after the Sugar Bowl. We got the suite and it was fantastic. The people were very nice. We got a nice present when we got in. The location is good if you want to be on this side of New Orleans. All around a perfect experience!

We had car problems and they were located half a mile away and for a reasonable price. Being a Choice and AAA member saved me about $12. I booked online and showed up 15 minutes later. The gentleman was super nice and check in was smooth. We are disabled and have a service dog and we had no issues. The room was clean, the shower was hot and the Wi-Fi worked.

Quiet hotel with comfy beds. Rooms are small and outdated. Bathroom consisted of a sink in hotel room and a small room with a sliding door that had a toilet and shower with old worn out shower door — no room to move around. With towels that were extremely small, there was no privacy to change if I was sharing room with another. Florescent lighting used in rooms makes the room not as inviting and stark. Pool is unheated so if it's cold out, don't expect to use it. Nothing close to the hotel at all except two gas stations and a Waffle House. Great access to I-10. Our first room smelled, had a noisy heater/AC unit and no mini fridge. We brought this up to manager and got a slightly better room. Thought I would save a few bucks and get a higher quality hotel outside of NOLA, with a bit of a drive, but if I had to do it all over again, I would just have stayed at the Super 8 in New Orleans. This hotel is 30+ minutes away from NO. Added one star due to manager moving us to better room, but I can't say I recommend this place unless you just needed to lay your head down for a single night as part of a long journey/road trip. I would not stay here again unless many improvements were made.

Staff ok. Room clean. Furniture shows signs of being in standing water. I wonder what else in the room was in water. Shower door had been caulked and had a magnet catch to keep water in shower.

Great stop off before heading into new Orleans clean and cheap. Wow!

Have stayed here several times the staff was very pleasant and helpful and the rooms was very comfortable great place for the price also a short drive from set down restaurant on the water.

Staff working the front desk were friendly, night and the next morning. The continental breakfast bar was fully stocked. The room was clean. Kudos for fast Wi-Fi. Worked perfectly with my fire stick.

The visit has been food this far. The check-in went smoothly. The staff who did breakfast was friendly. The kids love to swim so I always pick a hotel with a pool however there was to much chlorine in the pool water and their eyes were very red and some what soar.

Nice clean fairly new hotel. Comfy beds and pillows. Only complaint was it was crowded and the breakfast sausage and eggs were a bit under cooked but I could have ate waffles or cereals. As busy as they were they should have had 5 or 6 more tables to eat at and a outdoor smoking area with a bench or table tucked away would have been great.

Checked in at 11 pm and no problem. All the staffs were very helpful and co-operative. Location is great-just after existing i10. There's a Waffle restaurant just next to this hotel. Room was nice, clean and no problems at all. The breakfast could be improved. Very less choice.

Older hotel, I've stayed in worse. But it's not as clean as I'd like. Stains on the bedding, shower icky, corners and baseboards gross. Carpet needs a very good scrub. Walls are cracked. Quiet though, and fair in terms of price.

First I want to apologize to Sleep Inn and to Chris for my recent review. I am currently in my 5th step in the program and one of the most important steps is to stop lying to people and to myself. It is not anyone's fault but my own that I have no life.

Chris. He runs the front desk. Dark hair big belly & rotten teeth. Be warned. He's a stalker. He will take your information and text you nudes & harass you. I've been harassed for over 6 months now from him & have no way of stopping him. I'm tired of asking him to stop so I'm posting here for help. Praying a manager will see it & put it to an end. I would not recommed this place to anyone. Its scary to be stalked & harassed when he's bored & I'm sick & tired of it = (

This hotel is clean & well maintained. The beds are comfortable & the free breakfast is typical. The people are kind.

Nice stay and at a good price, if you're looking for a decent place to hold over for a night while on the road. Look no further.

Whenever I take vacations or a business trip I always look for Choice Hotles in the area. I recently booked a one night stay in Slidell, La and however has changed my outlook on the hotels. I have never been treated so rude and unfairly. My friends and I plan to visit for Mardi Gras weekend and as we were told that the credit card we left on file would only be swiped once we arrived that did not happen. My friend was forced to borrow money for an entire weekend because they swiped money off her card. The dingy front desk girl failed to mention that this would happen being that she assured her we could pay cash on arrival. The general manager wasn't any better the most she could "offer" was a free night's stay anytime she wanted. Who in the world would just randomly stay in Slidell no offense to your hometown lady, but let's be real here. We live five hours away and they claim they can't refund the card unless the room is canceled. Well that was a dumb suggestion clearly we want the damn room. We are all working women and are not trying to get out of paying by no means, but I felt the situation could have been handled with a damn discount or something besides a stay in SLIDELL.
