The Remington Suite Hotel & Spa hosted my October 11 nuptials. I see why this is the premier venue in Shreveport, LA. The venue is beautiful! The staff was patient and professional from beginning to end. We appreciated the attention to detail and the cleanliness. With COVID precautions The Remington provided guests with the confidence that the Royale Ballroom would be safe and clean. The venue smelled heavenly, the floors shined and the bathrooms were spotless. The staff was amazing! Thank you to the young lady that helped when I lost my earring. Lastly, don’t forget to book the Penthouse Suite. The decor is awesome. This boutique hotel is top notch.

The staff and newly remodeled rooms on the 4th floor made out girls’ get away weekend PERFECT! Sharon Berthelot and everyone in the spa and hotel made everything magical! We can’t wait to go back! The 4th floor suites were incredible!

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff!

Literally the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed at in my entire life. I would’ve rather slept under the shreveport barksdale bridge than slept here. There’s an elder woman (not the one with the cute glasses) that works the front desk and she is an absolute roaringly unhappy human being. Our room slept four people and there were only three of us and there was a $20 dollar charge on each person that didn’t rent the room. So if you have a wife and child, bring some extra cash.

Always such a perfect pleasure! This is one of many vists and I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I stayed here for our 8th Anniversary. We loved it! Great staff, the suite was awesome, and the bar was fun. I absolutely recommend The Remington Suite Hotel & Spa.

Simply Beautiful and with the Sweetest front desk help and very comfortable, clean room.

It’s probably the best hotel in town. It’s definitely unique and stylish. I like their atmosphere, especially the bar area and the rooftop.

Let me start by saying I love staying here. I have been coming for years. I have stayed here to many times to count. Management is its biggest downfall. The front desk staff are so sweet & helpful. No complaints at all! The valet guy is great. I love the rooms & love staying here. On my second most recent stay, I accidentally left a $200 facial cleansing device, the night my husband had a procedure in the hospital. I immediately called the next day and “they never found one”. So disappointed that someone would take this at such a classy hotel. I sent them a message on fb messenger, which was read by management but ZERO response. Not even “I’m so sorry that happened”. They NEVER contacted me. This most recent 2 night stay in a VIP sweet, we asked for an extended check out. The sweet helpful front desk attendant apologetically told me “they put in our request but it was up to housekeeping’s discretion”. So housekeeping makes these decisions? Not the manager? So I called this morning to ask and the housekeeper who was rude & uneducated told me “no, uh uh… we gots a full house and only 3 peoples here to clean… no way”. Unbelievable. As I said management is ruining this beautiful boutique hotel. This is the only place I stay when I come to town (a lot). Looks like we will be staying elsewhere. So disappointed.

This place is amazing. Me and my wife spent the weekend there for our anniversary. It’s a old build but beautifully did. The staff is the best I’ve seen. When I stay in Shreveport again this will be the place I stay. 100% satisfied with this Hotel and staff.

My family decided to stay at the Remington Suites based on the route of our roadtrip for the summer. We booked our room based on the photos on the hotel site.
When we checked in, they staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
That was the ONLY positive thing.
The room we booked and prepaid for was a suite and upon entering our room (suite number 7 on the second floor) we were disgusted. Not only was the room outdated, but it had an unclean smell, the carpet was disgusting and unkept and the bathroom was among the worst condition I have ever seen in a hotel. The entire bathroom was unkept. The bathtub and sinks were disgusting and the overall smell of the room was very unpleasant.
I did speak with the attendees at the front desk and they offered to move us, but at that point it was too late and my daughter had fallen asleep.
The staff apologized and made a note for the General Manager to contact us in the morning. Upon checkout in the morning, I spoke with another attendee and they made another note for the GM to contact me.
It has been 2 days.
I will NEVER recommend or return to stay at the Remington Suites.

Great people work here in this super hotel. They are just so thoughtful and gracious. We will come back here for sure.

The 4th floor suites are amazing with an incredible common space. It was so awesome to have our family all together and have plenty of room to gather for all the wedding festivities before and after my daughters wedding. The 3rd floor event space and rooftop are the perfect venue for any party or wedding reception. Gorgeous as is and takes little decoration to really make it your own! The staff is very hospitable and the building is fantastic. You just can’t go wrong with The Remington Suite Hotel and Spa.

I can not brag enough about how great our staycation was at this hotel!
We chose The Remington for our “Girls Trip” for the location, the opulent comfort, and abundance of amenities. We will undoubtedly return, because of the impeccable guest service received from Chad and Chris, plus all that other stuff. Chad at the front desk, in my opinion, only made our visit 10x better. I know my expectations and he went above and beyond everything I asked, he very much made us feel welcomed and at ease. We are already talking about “next time”.

Went to Tacos and Tequila, we paid $7 in advance and showed up early thinking it was going to be an interesting and popular event. We got in and paid $18 for two drinks. The tacos were good but I think would've been a little cheaper at their own place. For the atmosphere, their was a rooftop bar in august (too hot and humid) and only two or three tables inside, it was not worth the cost of admission. I'm glad we only paid $7 in advance instead of $10 in person at the door.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are so well done. The fact that all the rooms are individually decorated to look like a specific artist, was amazing. I was there for an event that had been advertised and it was a terrible bust. What they charged was not worth what they offered. Even when the event was coming to a close and they still hadn't had any attendees we ask if we could buy shots of the left over infused tequila they turned us down and said it had to be thrown out. Other than that the Hotel is phenomenal.

Wonderful service, great staff, gorgeous rooms, relaxing pool and hot tub, Jacuzzis in every room! Not to mention how wonderful their breakfast and bar are! I’ve almost stayed in all of their rooms because I never stay anywhere else when I’m in Shreveport. My mother started staying here when she would visit me, when I lived in Shreveport. They took such good care of her after her surgery while she was recovering! I never knew this place was here, because I normally use to stay at casinos. Casinos aren’t really my thing, I am more of a botique hotel kind of girl and each suite is different and has a different theme that reflects the style of different famous artists! Fabulous interior design and not as pricy as a place like this sounds! Actually a better deal than most casinos and better service with just as many amenities! We checked out this morning thinking our stay in Shreveport was over, but we ended up having to stay one more night so we checked back in and we’re able to get another room last minute. I probably could’ve gotten a little bit cheaper room elsewhere since we are leaving so early, but paying just a tad extra is worth it! Especially when you need a day nap! Why? Because their beds are the MOST comfortable. Thank you Remington staff for always taking great care of me when I come to stay! It truly feels like my home away from home!

We loved our stay at the Remington! Our low waste, travel family loved the beautiful decor, attention to detail, salt water pool and the delightful staff. The location was perfect and the kitchenette in the Grand suite was incredibly helpful. Our son loved the salt water pool 3 times a day and the huge "Baymax bed". We will definitely be back!

The Hotel was amazing and so was the staff at the front desk as well as the valets. However, the cleaning staff stole my money. On the day of checkout, I left my room (empty-handed because my fiance had a room key). Two members of the cleaning staff saw us leave our room. When I got back to my room, my wallet was missing out of my purse on the bed. My wallet was later found outside of my room in my fiance's SHOE without cash my inside it. I did file a police report, and, "coincidentally" there are no cameras that point to my room, and there's a new system, so you cant tell who entered my room during the time we weren't in there. If the cleaning staff was replaced, I'll recommend the Remington to anyone.

My wife and I wanted a weekend away. The Remington was refreshing and centrally located to everything. It has all that you would expect. This hotel leans toward the upper end of a 3 star. I have stayed in some 5 stars that were not as good. Very clean rooms and friendly staff.

There were no pens in the room, which is hotels 101. So I go ask for one at the desk, and they don’t have any… so I have to borrow one from the front desk and RETURN it to the desk. Again staff was great but come on. Must be terrible management.

Fantastic hotel with great local ownership. Recently renovated rooms with a unique feel. Fantastic drinks and breakfast too.

It's a beautiful hotel. The rooftop is a beautiful happy hour spot. The hotel os small enough do that the staff can be very attentive. The hotel has a subtle art theme. Each suite is named for an artist. Books with different artists' works can be found scattered throughout. The rooms are furnished in a way that felt like a guest in someone's home. The room was fresh and clean. Robes were provided along with plenty of towels. The beds were very comfy. Beautiful artwork by the artist my room was named for were displayed in the room. I only suggest an update on the tubs and remove the carpet.

I cannot recommend The Remington Suite Hotel & Spa enough! After another hotel called and canceled my reservation when I was only 10 minutes from town, I made a last minute reservation at this location. Dominique, at reception, was so helpful and welcoming. She assisted me with taking all my stuff up to my room so I would not have to make more than one trip. Her helpfulness and politeness helped me to relax after being on the road all day and then dealing with the other hotel fiasco. The room is very large and the bed is amazing. I will definitely be staying here again when I travel through Shreveport.

We went to the Remington to meet friends for drinks at the bar downstairs. The service was amazing. The bartender and the front desk concierge were very friendly. The inside of the hotel where the bar is has several nice lounge chairs and couches the decor is beautiful.

Attended a banquet there, on the 3rd floor. It is an attractive venue. Service was great. The rooftop patio was charming.

Great stay, Very nice rooms, small hotel so not a lot of foot traffic. Great view from the roof top of downtown. Great service, close to everything. Will be staying again.

Staff at the hotel is fantastic. Customer service like you will see no where else. Hotel is older but would highly recommend.

I booked the roof top/ The Grand Suite for my proposal this past Thursday and my experience was wonderful! Not only did the staff do everything in their power to make sure my day went well various employees from different departments helped out effortlessly. The Amazing Event Coordinator — Kameron overdid her self helping me even after her shift was over to make sure everything was in place and I was comfortable! I highly recommend this hotel and their southern hospitality to anyone that needs great customer service in a time when their life changing moment means everything.

They are very accommodating and professional. The environment is kept extremely clean. I would recommend this place for an event.

A fabulous hidden gem is Shreveport, LA. Among all the large casinos and hustle — is this beautiful — all suite property that feels like you are "comming home" not "checking in". Friendly, attentive staff — warm surroundings and truly 5 Star service make this a destination not to be missed.

The room was nice But At 7 am they started moving Furniture above us. When I called the front desk Her reply was oh We had an event and they’re moving the tents, she did not ask them to stop. SO RUDE to pay for a room to rest but be Disturbed first thing in the morning, I asked to speak to a manager she was not here until 10 AM.

So, the rooms are beautiful — it's a boutique hotel, so it's got a classy, non-corporate feel. But in addition to the rooms, the place has a *beautiful* indoor saltwater pool, a really good lobby bar with daily happy hours, and a wellness spa complete with masseuse, barbers, etc. It's actually kind of the best place to get an affordable men's haircut in Shreveport. I've stayed — and have enjoyed my stay — but the little amenities are terrific. The place is first-class.

Myself and my wife booked a room at the Remington to check in for this Friday night. Unfortunately we made the mistake of booking the room for this past Monday night instead of tonight. Naturally, we were very upset, but realized it was our fault. After speaking with the front desk, the young girl that was working was very quick to let us know that they were fully booked for the evening and gave us direction to call the hotline to see if a refund would be allowed and came off very snarky. After contacting the site we made the reservation through, they informed us that they personally contacted the manager of the hotel and that the manager on duty refused to reimburse us or allow to book another stay on a different night. It was a terrible experience and I hope no one slips up and clicks a wrong date of check in because the Remington has a zero empathy style of management and operation.

I visited there twice on a two trips to Corpus Christi Texas. This place does not disappoint it is a beautiful and the jetted tubs in the room excellent.

Staff was incredible! Very accommodating to our needs. The hotel was cute and quaint. Great location, near many attractions. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. All they need to do is shampoo the carpets and make sure they are cleaning better.

Spa tub did not work in room they claimed to not have another room with working Spa. Would not recommend they would not discuss or issue a partial refund and only thing the offered was free breakfast for my trouble. I just wanted to soak in the Spa Tub. Stay Away!

This is by far the worst experience I have every had with a hotel. The view from the window is a brick wall 2 feet out side. The honeymoon package consists of rise peddles made of paper. Cheep valentine stuf. The bathroom room floor had a black film on it the towel that was on the floor had black stains on it. The cold water on the vanity did not work. The noise from hall way was loud from the 2 in Crack under the door. The wine was giving to us when we check out. They for got. The was several items ok not the package list that was not given to us. The pictures of the hotel on the website is not the same place we stayed. I gave them 0 star's. I have called 4 times to speak to manager she not returned my call.

So beautiful, and staff are so nice. Drink specials almost every day, nice and unique rooms, and pretty tasty breakfast options. If stay here every time I came to Shreveport if I could.

The food was excellent and the aesthetics in the lobby were stunning. If the rooms are this nice, it will be my new go to place to stay downtown Shreveport!

The event room was very beautiful. I loved all the chandaliers and brick. The balcony had a great view to my surprise. It seems like the perfect place to hold a wedding and reception here. The atmosphere was perfect for any kind of party really very elegant and chic.

Really nice suite (we were in Gainsborough), though some noise from the roof and the club next door did trickle in, quite late at night. Turning the A/C fan on helped with that. You should also know that the valet service is nearly essential, since there is only metered parking in that area. But it was very nice and well-decorated, friendly staff, breakfast was tasty (and reasonably priced), and if you use the pool and spa services it's very convenient. Within walking distance of several nice restaurants and pubs and bars.

This place is really nice. Rooms are all unique, and nice, the pool is great, and everyone is super friendly and helpful. The downside is you have to pay for valet parking, but it's not a big deal because the place is pretty inexpensive to start off. Definitely recommend if you are staying in Shreveport.

What a lovely hotel! It's situated in the middle of downtown Shreveport, in the middle of the action. Loved the pool, they have these neat bean bag floats that we loved! The room is huge! Can't believe the price for a massive suite. The downside is the parking situation, it's $22 a day and its valet only, which is a little frustrating.

I have never spent the night at the Remington but it's lovely for drinks and events! Wonderful rooftop with a nice view of downtown Shreveport. Friendly staff.

The Remington Suites is great hotel. We experienced fairly poor accommodations at a nearby hotel so we moved. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Tyler, the bartender took care of us and kept the mules mixed right. Tiana at the front desk was the best and she really made our transition from the other location seemless and made sure the accommodations met our family needs. My wife also really enjoyed the spa services.

The service was a little slow.

Stayed in the Tiffany room. It was fantastic and very comfortable.

Unique rooms and overly kind staff.

Such a charming hotel! Gorgeous on the inside as well as the out. The staff is really, really kind and helpful. The the top floors are a perfect space to rent for a party or event.

This place is incredible. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The service has been above and beyond. From the moment we walked in to each interaction with any of the staff, the courtesy and respect has been wonderful. They have made our trip very relaxing and somewhat enjoyable in spite of the reason we had to come. We came for a funeral and we stayed for three nights. We have never stayed at a hotel like this and we will always choose this one when we come back.

We love this hotel. We stay here every time we come to visit family in Shreveport. Friendly staff large clean comfortable rooms.

We stayed for four days three nights! It was fabulous! The hotel staff was respectful, trustworthy, and very heart felt! We will definitely go back! The spa was wonderful! My husband had never experienced a spa, but after the package I got him he will be having spa services often! Go see for yourself, contemplaterly drinks, the whole works and lots of romance and spa packages available!

This hotel is simply wonderful. Such a unique and beautiful place. Everything was clean, pleasant and comfortable! Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to stay there again.

The staff is very professional and the rooms are gorgeous. Very nice amenities as well. It also has a good central location close to everything. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Shreveport area.

I travel quite a bit and am able to stay at the hotel of my choice. When I am in the Shreveport area, I always choose to stay at The Remington Suite Hotel. The architecture of the hotel is brilliant, and non-existent at many other hotels. On top of that the staff is amazing and always able to give any assistance required. I rate this hotel 5 stars.
