I was charged a smoking fee! I have never smoked a cigarette in my life! I have been back and forth with this hotel and their General Manger Machaela. She states they use a 3 system check but none of the 3 people are managers. This is not my first time staying here but it will be my last. I will be submitting you to the better business bureau.

Very helpful, my wife just had surgery and they are going out of their way to help us. Greatly appreciated.

The breakfast is good, it has beacon, eggs sausage home made. The rooms are clean daily. Everyday in the afternoon they have fresh bake cookies for everyone.

Very average Holiday inn. Very dissatisfied with the front desk clerk that lied to me after I asked 3 times if my rewards # was added. It was not added. I came back later and spoke with the other clerk and he ensured it was added and he offered me proof! He did a good job. She should be fired. There was no confusion or misunderstanding, she flat out lied to me. Breakfast omelets are good. Elevator is extremely slow. I stay at hotels about 75 nights a year and this is the most disappointed I have ever been with front desk clerk.

Great experience overall with this location. Its located downtown in Shreveport, LA so with this location it puts you right near all the night life. You'll be within walking distance of the casinos, many bars, restaurants, and clubs in general. You'll be able to party all night and stumble your way to the hotel. Only issue with this location is the driveway leads right into a street with people exiting off the interstate. Sometimes people aren't very nice and you can get stuck here waiting to exit the hotel. Other than that, you get what you pay for when it comes to the hotel. Great views, friendly staff, centrally located.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Pool and complimentary breakfast which was ok. Friendly staff. Towels at pool could replenished more frequently. Trash could be emptied more often. Pool needs backwashing and deck cleaning. Cigarette butts in abundance. Foul odor from one side of the pool. Signs are contradictory. Smoking? No smoking?

The hotel was nice but we had a view close to the pool area and the pool look like it wasn't touched for year other that that it was nice.

My friend accidently left her wallet in a rental car so she did not have her ID. She did have a picture of her passport and her CC numbers. I called this hotel specially and spoke with a lady who was not very helpful. I told her the situation and she said there was absolutely nothing she can do. I understand that people need their ID's however sometimes it is not always black and white. I asked her what she thought I should do and what she would do in this situation if it were her and she said "that question is not appropriate. This is the hotel industry. " I ended up looking up air BNB's for her. The air BNB ladies were super kind and helpful. She didn't need the air BNB in the end. She was able to find a hotel (comfort Inn) I believe who was able to help her. She stayed there instead. I will never stay at another Holiday Inn based on principle alone and I will share it with everyone I know…

Great comfy beds. Friendly staff. 4 floors and close to youree drive with loads of food options!

The location is very good and the staff was excellent. We had a newly renovated room which we truly enjoyed. The mattress made me feel like I was sleeping in my own bed. The breakfast was good enough to start you on your way.

The rooms and breakfast were nice. I've definitely had better service though.

We enjoyed our stay. We had an Executive King room. Loved the roominess and mini kitchenette. Very convenient to where we were traveling too. Appreciated the breakfast. Friendly staff.

Most out-of-date Hilton I have stayed in and I have stayed in many older and rural hotels. Pretty much everything is not as nice as you would expect but not horrible. The noise level from adjacent rooms is much higher than other hotels. Day shift employee I talked to was okay, but there was a very rude employee at night. I asked him a question and he responded to me as if I had walked in off the street and needed to leave. Best thing about the hotel is location, but would absolutely recommend people to just stay at the Bossier city location which is on a higher level than this location. This was the first Hilton hotel that put stars on your door to label if and what level IHG club kemeber you are. This was kind of weird.

Excellent staff and service with a clean/neat environment. Quick and easy access to the interstate, shopping areas, and great restraunt. In the center of downtown Shreveport so if your here for the casinos it's the perfect place to stay.

The rooms are much better than we expected. Very big and very clean.

Room was clean, breakfast was good, staff is friendly. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, tasty pastries, cereal, make your own pancakes, and oatmeal.

I love this hotel. My company paid for my stay and my second week the management upgraded my room to a Jacuzzi suite free of charge. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here for a vacation experience.

Pretty typical HIE. Clean room, friendly staff, decent breakfast, good coffee. Our only issue is that the hotel was at max capacity which resulted in electrical issues with the elevator (multiple times over 3 days) and the fire alarm going off (at 1am, of course). Additionally, there was a handicapped person in our party, and they were put on the 3rd floor which was very concerning considering the issues with the elevators and fire alarms. The general manager needs to address this issue immediately. I would be concerned with a potential fire in the future given what happened last weekend.

The building was a little difficult to find. A sign indicating which road to take would be nice. The hotel was quite good. The room and hallway were clean. Free Wi-Fi. Complementary breakfast was a lot better than I had expected. The main complaint keeping this review from 5 stars was a mix-up in the reservation. The young man at the desk was helpful and it was resolved.

The people that worked there were very nice but they were low on staff and after a night, we came to the pool to swim and discovered a piece of poop sitting in the pool, we were utterly disgusted. The maintenance man came and he did the most shocking thing, he scooped up the poop and left. I have never been that disgusted in my life. I would not recommend this hotel.

Traveling for work puts a lot of wear and tear in you. The staff at Park Plaza changes that and makes it such an enjoyable experience! I couldn't live without Shatima and Beverly at HIE Park Plaza!

Despite being completely booked they where very accommodating in whatever way they could be.

Nice for a quick weekend stay. Very liberal with the towels. Breakfast was a bit hectic though.

Due to my flight being cancelled I was not able to make my 2-night stay here, and Holiday Inn refused to waive their no refund policy because I booked through expedia. I will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Shreveport from now on.

Dirty room, food left in icebox, room smelt like dog pee, beds were damp, towel were dirty, found a lizzard in yhe room, do not recommend for anyone.

The Hotel Staff was very nice, and the rooms were large and very clean. However, the pool was outside and not heated and no Hot Tub. It was super disappointing that we couldn't swim. Also, I needed a Sewing Kit to repair a dress that was burned with the Hotel Iron, and the Hotel didn't have any sewing kits. The lady at the front desk said that they didn't even have Mouth Wash any more, that the Hotel decided to cut back on items like that. Also, the Elevator was super slow, there's only 4 floors I don't understand why it took so long. I used the stairs unless I had luggage to carry.

UGLY! I stay at ihg properties 50-100 nights every year; so I have good point of reference. 150 nights last year. This place smelled like sewer, I had to make my own bed 2 of 4 nights, the AC was so loud, and to top that I had my dollar stollen by the vending machine. This was the stay that cause me to move my loyalty account! Trust me, find another place.
