Spacious room but the staff not so friendly.

It's a alright hotel, but wish they offered/allowed earlier check in accommodations. Sitting in the lobby until 3pm is aggravating after traveling to get here.
They do offer shuttle service, but its limited. There's no place to eat or shop around
The price was great based on what is offered and what they do.

Awesome place to stay clean hotel.

I stayed here 2 days prior to going cruising and it was the easiest and quickest check in I have ever had. The lady at the front desk was welcoming and friendly. I also stayed one day after getting off the cruise and it was equally as wonderful, in fact the manager made sure our room was clean and we got there 2 hours before check in time! Wonderful place to stay!

Worst customer service experience from a hotel ever! One of our employees was double charged and It has been over a month with no resolution. I've called and emailed several times, to no avail. Completely unprofessional, and we will no longer use this hotel — in any state — for our business travel.

It is a very well maintained hotel. It looked new but is ten years old, employees are friendly. It pool is outside with minimum decor, the size of a big hot tub. But the inside rooms are spacious and above basic standards.

Booked last minute. Nice room for me and my buddies who didn't want to stay at the Airbnb in the ghetto with No AC… This place has the best AC…

The hotel was very clean, modern looking, and had a very nice room. The staff member was very nice and helpful despite our extremely late arrival. Breakfast was satisfying. I enjoyed it stay and would definitely stay here again.

The best western plus new orleans airport is a great little hotel far enough away to not hear the airplanes but be close enough that it's only a 3 minute drive. They offer a free shuttle to the airport however it's not 24-hours which is a pain for an early flight but not a star killer. The staff at the counter is a little rude but some training would greatly improve that. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is adequate. Great place to stay if you are flying out of the airport. You can also leave your vehicle there while out of the city for an extra fee.

Brand new hotel behind the airport is very nice and comfortable. It's a hidden jewel amongst eyesores. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are adequate size and the thread count was amazing. I highly recommend. Toy can also use your reward points.

Don’t not stay here! Horrible service and very bad housekeeping. (This review is showing up Under my mom’s name but my name is Jasmine) Stayed at the hotel after a long day of traveling instead of driving back to Jackson. After checked into the room, took a shower and crashed. Room had an odor to it but I was too tired to care. Woke up early to close blinds so I can sleep a little later. Moved covers from the other side of the bed to get out and noticed a dark spot. Once, I cut the lights on I realized it was blood. I was not bleeding in any way, shape or form. The blood had a strong odor which was what I was smelling the night before. Went down to the front desk to complain and was blown away by how rude the manager Lake was. He acted as if I had no reason to be upset. Decide to throw a pen down and not talk to me anymore. A woman was sent to help and she was just as rude and asked why I didn’t notice it that night. When she went to the room she saw the blood and started to act nicer. Still, I had to pay for th room. A manager was suppose to contact me but never did. Sid is suppose to be the GM but when I followed up with him and he told me he was not the GM and could not help me a front desk manager would call me. Never received a call, called corporate office for a follow-up and they told me they could not refund me, only management at location. Also stated that they manager put in notes that they offered me a discount on my next rental and I accepted.

Better HOSPITALITY! The only reason I did not select 1 star is because I did encounter certain Hotel staff who were very pleasant. The young lady who checked me in (short, African American) & House keeping lady (tall, older Caucasian) understands hospitality. It's pitiful when you have to encounter "management" who is rude, unpleasant and possess NO hospitable attributes (Mr. Lake). To have stayed at other Best Western properties/locations & receive not only EXCEPTIONAL service, but also EXCEPTIONAL hospitality, only to stay at this location & experience this type of treatment, makes a customer regret spending their money there. To state that Mr. Lake is curt would be a compliment, but he wasn't even that. He has a very horrible disposition which would reduce any quality of stay at this location. Service during breakfast was horrid. Like with any hotel, you will have those who come w/n the last few minutes of complimentary breakfast. But to see how management treated them & the nasty attitude Mr. Lake had was just despicable. He basically snatched items as customers were attempting to grab a few things to take to the table. Rather than stand there as they finished using or selecting whatever they needed then taking it away, he grabbed it very abruptly & threw it in the room /kitchen area. He even slammed the microwave after 1 customer opened it b/c she had food on the inside. I understand that it was 9:30, but the way he handled the situation was truly uncalled for.

Hotel looked nice and clean from the outside. First room we were given when we checked in had not been cleaned. Beds were still a mess and towels were on the floor. Second room was much better. The elevator had a sign that it was out of order but the representative said we could still use it just not to the 3rd floor. The hotel is about 5 minutes away from the airport which was a plus.

Very impressive facility. Clean, good amenities, very helpful staff — Lake and Sid were great. We'd stay here again. So convenient to the airport.

The desk clerk was not very friendly in my opinion. She seemed like I was interrupting her and not really willing to assist. I was not given simple details about the property, such as where told get ice upon check in. I had to call the front desk for the location as it relates to the 3rd floor. Also MOST IMPORTANTLY, I booked this hotel because it is close to the airport and has an airport shuttle, however I was advised the first shuttle is not until 5am and that's when my flight starts boarding. Very inconvenient, the time should be posted on the site. Otherwise the rooms are really nice and comfy.

Absolutely welcoming, modern, clean and so affordable. The continental breakfast is excellent. And the staff, management and owners are friendly and helpful in every way possible. It's definitely the best "airport" accommodation I've ever stayed in. And, as it's still close enough to the attractions of New Orleans to make it a nice efficient place to stay regardless of the purpose of your trip.

Central and comfortable for business trips.

The hotel is really close to the airport. The room was very spacious and clean. They provided coffee maker in the room which is convenient. Breakfast is included and quite nice. They have pancake machine that allow you to make it yourself! It's a great place for a short transit before your next flight.

Terrible experience with this hotel. Booked this room well in advance then found out due to some unforseen hardships that we were unable to make this booking. Emailed this company twice well in advance to ask for refund due to our circumstances. No one ever answered. I was still charged and now my family is in more financial strain then before. The holidays will be hard this year. This hotel does not have the customer in mind and we will never stay there on our future trips to New Orleans. I am very disappointed. I would have been more understanding if someone would have at least responded to my emails. Hope others take this into consideration before booking there.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel and found great value for the money. The rate was very affordable, and while it's not very close to downtown, with a car it's not far away from downtown, restaurants, or shopping. Quick drive around the corner from the airport makes it easy to start unwinding after landing. Breakfast was included, room was very clean and modern (hotel just recently built so it's all relatively new), and parking is free. No airport noise despite how close it was. Don't expect any great views — overlooks a truck lot on one side.

Decent place, most are really great staff except for the lady who was supposed to pick us up in the airport shuttle. We didn't know we had to call (here's a lesson when traveling folks) so we called and asked for the airport shuttle to come pick us up. An hour later we call again because she still had not shown up. The desk clerk said "well she's been there and back a few times". Let me tell you now, she wasn't. So again we called, and asked for her to take the phone number incase she was unable to find us. 35 minutes later she finally shows up and proceeded to tell us we were not the people she was supposed to pick up. :/ After we were already in the shuttle. :/ Really! Then asked us twice if we had a reservation or going to pick up our car? Then had to call in to the desk clerk to ask who she was supposed to be picking up. The hotel was clean and the people were so nice, except that lady.

The hotel we stayed at was a decently nice hotel. But when we asked for something at night the Night service was very disrespectful to us and started calling us names. When we asked to speak to the manager the person who we spoke with says that she was being "playful". I will do whatever I can to make sure people don't go to this hotel due to the bad customer service.

Awesome customer service and so convenient to the airport with a very reliable free shuttle service. Kayla was the front desk person who was very friendly checking us in for the night. When we told her that we had an early morning flight and needed to be at the airport at 4:30 am she told us that she could arrange for the driver (who usually starts at 5:00 am) to take us at 4:30. She prepared a grab to go bag for breakfast that we picked up the next morning. Tina was the staff person in the early morning and was pleasant to talk with as we easily checked out and waited for our ride. This hotel staff is one of the most accommodating and friendly we have experienced. The hotel rooms are clean and we loved the larger than average rooms.

Good Hotel, Since this is new hotel rooms, pool, corridors are very good. Breakfast is delicious. Room service can be better. Our bed is not so clean. We can see hair.

The bed was comfortable and spacious. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms was loving. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the housekeeping performance. The first day we got in the room the ice holder was filled with water from a previous customer. The second day the housekeeper did not clean our room because the same paper was on the floor the second night that was on there the first night. Also the housekeeper didn't change our sheets. Our bed was remade with the same sheets. Which we were told our sheets would be changed daily. We stayed on the third floor and had to go to the 2 floor to get ice because there wasn't a ice machine our floor. Over all the location was convenient and we would stay there again.

This hotel has been nothing short of great. The rooms were clean and had very comfortable beds! The staff has gone above and beyond to help me with various things — dining suggestions and extending my stay! Raquel and Tina were so welcoming and helped me very much. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling or even just visiting NOLA as it's close to many things!

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. One of the front desk ladies that checked me into my room was EXTREMELY rude. She didn't even acknowledge me, she simply handed me a room key and hurried me along. I wasn't even informed of the breakfast time. In addition to this rudeness, an hour after check in, the power went out 3 separate times in the entire hotel totaling about an hour of time in the dark. It is 90 degrees in Louisiana. If you weren't in your room, there was NO way to get in, nor was there any way to leave because the keys are electronic. After expressing my frustrations to the hotel I was given the number to the ELECTRIC company and told that they would issue me a refund. After calling back 3 more times I informed by the manager that there is abosultely no way that I could be compensated for this inconvenience. There are several hotels near the airport and I will be sure to book one that hires professional individuals.

At the time of this review (6.26.17), the hotel was approximately 6 months old. With that in mind, the hotel was great. Clean, modern design, comfortable. Location was perfect for the airport. In all, surprisingly great stay, influenced some by the age (new) of the facilities.

Clean nice room. Will stay here again if it doesn't get run down. Easy access to Laplace & New Orleans.

We stayed for five days, then returned the following week for four more days. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had more to offer than many hotels I have stayed in. Stacey, who works during breakfast, was extremely nice, she kept asking if I needed anything. She got me sugar free syrup for my waffle. She also helped me load my car, which is not even her job. She was always smiling. The front desk was super friendly, they shared recommendations on food and shopping, Sid even helped me with framing advice for a print I purchased at the mall. Tina and Kayla were so very sweet, would remember us and ask about our day. We had many laughs and shared some funny stories. Tina fixed my husband a grab and go breakfast because he left very early for work, before breakfast time, some fruit and a chocolate chip muffin. He was surprised and thankful. Housekeeping was very friendly as well. They not only cleaned the room well each day but seemed happy and cheerful. I never once saw anyone grumpy or bothered to help with anything. The only thing is it is not really close to much except the airport. But we had two cars so it was fine, it's not that far to malls or restaurants or to New Orleans if you have a car. We were very pleased with our stay. We will stay there again.

Great hotel if you have an early morning flight. The breakfast was what you would expect at a hotel like this. I am a fan of the waffle machine. The airport shuttle was prompt. I wish there were more food options nearby. Overall a great value and if in the area I will stay again.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn't absolutely need to be in downtown New Orleans. Located just a quarter mile from MSY and about 30 minutes from the French quarter, it's a very comfortable hotel and the breakfast option is good for the price. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Got stuck at the airport and needed a place to stay. This hotel was recently updated with modern finishes, was comfortable, and had a free breakfast. The gym was pretty minimal (only a treadmill, bike, elliptical, and cable machine). Highly recommended if your accidentally stuck in the area.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. Very very clean. Super comfortable beds along with a bunch of room to move around. Service was also very very good. They also had so many things to choose from for your free breakfast. I will defiantly stay there again when I am back in the area and need a place to stay for a night or two. :)

Brand new hotel with A+ staff. Very comfortable rooms and a 5 minute (complementary) shuttle ride to the airport. Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Definitely recommend.

The rooms are beautiful, the daytime front desk workers was polite and helpful. But the woman who worked the overnight shift, was very rude, nasty unwelcoming with lots of attitude! She went as far as arguing with me about, something she thought she heard! She knocked on the door with a very nasty attitude to confront us about! How are you all the way upstairs arguing with a guest and the front dest was left unattended! The hotel itself is beautiful, but they have to do better with there staff! We spoke to the manager in the am and he seemed very unconcerned with our issues! So I would not recommend Noone to this property! We only went there because Holiday Inn hotel was all booked up! Very Unhappy Costumer!
