Booked a stay at this Holiday Inn as part of my vacation. Rooms are clean, and tidy, but what sets them over the top is their amazing staff. First shout out goes to Corey who handles their shuttle service. He was warm and welcoming and shared the wonderful aspects of this part of New Orleans. Next we walked into the hotel and observed the one lady holding down the front desk on what I would consider a code black kind of day. Phone was ringing, customers were going off and Kori was completely unphased, just rolling with it all. She handled herself politely and professionally. This young woman has a lot of skill dealing with the stress and pressure that I can only imagine she has on a daily basis. Finally, our bartender/waiter at the restaurant (missed his name but he was adorable). He was quick with our order and checked back with us multiple times to make sure nothing further was needed. Food was pretty good as well. Hope management sees what a wonderful staff they have. We will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us this way.

Pretty standard clean hotel. Location is definitely convenient for airport and has a shuttle too, so transportation is less of a hassle. New beds (6/18/18) were nice though they're pretty high from the ground. Good hotel though no free breakfast.

Loved my stay at this hotel. Several things, I had an important meeting to attend and the business center was occupied, although I must say their business center is well kept and has everything. The front desk staff was so kind they accommodated me in a conference room for a few minutes to finish my meeting. The gym is great as well they are pretty well equipped and well maintained. I had the whole gym to myself to workout. The pool is really pleasant as well, I wish I had more time to use it. However, they don’t have free breakfast. But I have nothing to complain about. The housekeeping made sure my room was clean everyday.

Had to stay due to a cancelled flight. Booked online and called to confirm checking in at 4am — Stefan at the front desk was very nice and super accommodating! Free shuttle from the airport was so appreciated during this time. New place, super clean, beds were comfy and rooms were nice.

Don’t let the one star fool you this property is a complete disgrace. The employees do NOT change the bed sheets on a daily basis (our bathroom was disgusting), the front desk people are as INCOMPETENT as they come, and the breakfast service is horrendous. Not to mention the flat out rude managers. Yes it’s a new hotel but DON’T waste your time or money here, you will regret it! You are not a guest to them you are just a means to keep them afloat. Will certainly never stay here again and will be sure to tell all my fellow travelers as well as anyone else the same!

If there is nothing else available, yes I will lodge there, but only then. The water in the room never got hot or warm enough so cold shower had to do. Lots of construction with additional noise to an already noisey situation. The room is just. Not recommended unless none better is available. My last choice is this place… better than nothing. And yes, we left immediately as found some better came available.

Decent rooms, comfortable bed. With the exception of one employee I encountered the whole week I was there, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a hotel. Whenever I had questions about services offered or the area in general, they were essentially no help. I could not get into the laundry room on my floor and instead of getting someone to assist me or give me entry, I was told to use one on another floor. To get change for doing laundry I had to leave the property and find a gas station. The fitness center was nice, though.

I was hoping this post was going to be a happy post but it is not. Advise — Please stay on the top floor! Otherwise if you are catching a early flight you will be in for a long night. The Walls are Paper Thin! The people above my room sounded as if they were coming through the ceiling. When I called the front desk after being woke up at 1:00 am to running, stomping and dropping noise, they stated security would speak with the people upstairs. The noise stopped for a few minutes to only began again within 30 minutes. When I called the front desk again to advise the noise had started again they advise they could move my room at 1:30 am in the morning when they are aware I am catching a flight to leave at 5:00 am. I am not a light sleeper by any means! This was my first time here and this will be my last! Buyer Beware!

Check in was easy and fast. Kevin was very personable and informative. Nice new hotel. Spacious parking and away from the hustle and bustle, but close to interstate and airport. As an IHG member the rates were very reasonable. We would stay again.

They put is next to the elevator with a half empty hotel. Booked a king room and told us they didnt have it. Awful sleep when the elevator sounded like a jet taking off all night.

Very nice front desk staff. Clean rooms. Well lit parking lot. 24 hour airport shuttle. Full service bar :)

I stayed at this Holiday Inn for two days during Thanksgiving weekend, the hotel is very clean and reasonable priced, I am happy with that. However, the shower water temperature is too cold to take a shower for me before we went to bed, we waited from 8pm to 10:30pm and still no hot water from the shower and went down to talked to the front desk, I discussed this situation with the gentlemen at the front desk and he told me they can refund partial of my hotel stay expense due to this situation, and I am OK with that to solve this problem, and he told me his manage will call me next Monday or Tuesday to discuss the refund. However, I waited two days without receiving any calls, then I called back, the same gentlemen picked up the phone and told me his manager will call me, then another two days without a call, I called them again on Friday, the front desk lady told me the manager will contact me about that. Now another three days has passed, still no calls… I believe this is just the way they promise to solve the problem, but they never intend to take care of it, they know you will not keep calling them for this issue. Total dishonest hotel staff, I am totally pissed off!

Great clean hotel and staff. Restaurant and bar is also very very nice. The facilities is A1 still has the new smell in it. Definitely without a doubt will book again! Best Hotel without the upscale 5 star price! Did I mention the breakfast was awesome!

OMG! Our stay here was amazing! The service was outstanding, as the front desk crew and restaurant server was very pleasant. I was rather surprised when my husband and I had pulled into the parking lot. My first thought was: Wow! There used to be a Days Inn at this location, but it never recovered after Hurricane Katrina. This truly is a beautiful building, and LADIES… the Apple Martini's at the on-site restaurant are really good! The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but it has a lot of potential, especially for a possible Happy Hour crowd… **HINT**HINT to Holiday Inn.

My wife and I are currently staying at this location. From a lot of the reviews I have read, I must be imagining everything going on around me. The motel is new. Opened in July 2017. Beds are comfortable. Staff at the front counter are friendly and helpful. Location is close to the airport. Food service is well below where it needs to be. A couple of examples: -Yesterday AM there were menus on all the tables but, there was a sign advising only the buffet was available. -Last night I ordered a steak well done but it was served medium rare and after sending back, it was a little more charred on the outside but still medium rare inside. -Also, for the draft beer, there were 6 handles but 4 of those were out of product all three days we were here. Finally, the rooms face either the I-10 freeway or the airport and Veteran's Blvd. There are no "road noise free" options if you were hoping for that.

Nice New Hotel, but had Cockroach and Restaurant issues. This is a nice new hotel, stayed one night, very nice fitness center, very nice outdoor pool, soft bed, clean room, fairly spacious with desk area for doing work, however very troubling to walk into the room's bathroom and see a huge cockroach perched next to the kitchen sink and a second time to see one running on the floor next to the tub/shower. Upon closer inspection noticed there was a sizeable hole in the wall, near the bathroom counter down near base board and there was not complete caulking along the base board tiles. I assume the hole in the wall may be why there is a bug issue. Called the front desk around 11pm to report the issue, they offered to send an engineer up to see if they could do anything, not sure what they would do besides use bug spray so passed on engineer visit (did not get offered to swap rooms, maybe none available? ). The following morning saw another large cockroach on the wall in the hallway across from my room (really not good). I was offered to have them comp my room or receive points. The other issue was sevice in the attached restaurant. Went to grab dinner the evening I checked in (heard the food was good) but saw no server, hostess or bartender to get me seated but around 12 people already dining. Left after a couple minutes.

A great duckoff with excellent service. The rooms are nicer than some 4 star hotels.

There was a hiccup at the beginning. House keeping entered a room into the system as being completed, but it wasn't. Front desk fixed the issue immediately, brought up the key to a new room. Within 5 minutes of the mistake we were in our very clean, comfy room. Very pleased.

Our stay was pleasant; room and bathroom were clean and neat with plenty of towels and hot water til the end on check out. Bed was very comfortable. Nice breakfast presentation and selection even with missing it. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful that would include Kevin check us in. One of my complaint is the I could not even really hear the noise of the planes taking off. We would certainly stay again and highly recommend Holiday Inn New Orleans Airport North. I did not have water to shower with on the day of check out and front desk and head housekeeping said No one told you the water would be off this was just wrong. Over all this was just wrong I can really say that Kevin rocked when I check in to the hotel and because of him I will be back.

Was very impressed by the staff of this Holiday Inn! They were all so very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very nice as well as the pool and hotel I'm general. We had some issues with our hot water, which we understood since the hotel was so new and was still working out a few kinks here and there but the staff, and Kevin in particular, went above and beyond to make it right. We had a great experience and will definitely return and recommend.

Love this place especially bartending Joseph an Trish was so polite an very funny me an my hubby had great time with them my drinks was so good an there company was excellent we will be back every thing was awesome.

Brand new hotel, with the most absolutely incredible, kind staff! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. They are absolutely amazing! The rooms are very nice with up to date plug ins, a huge tv, fridge, Keurig, & microwave in every room. They have the most comfortable beds and pillows. Even the towels are soft! If you are thinking of staying around New Orleans area, close enough to everything, drive past all the other hotels & come here! It feels like home & its a safe hotel! The staff will make sure that you are well cared for. They also have room service, delivered straight to your door or the choice of a restaurant downstairs. If you don't feel like going down for breakfast or dinner, they'll bring it to you with a smile on their faces! Cannot write enough great things about this Holiday Inn!

Beautiful, Brand New Hotel! Very convenient hotel in respects to the Airport and Downtown New Orleans. Outstanding room space from the lobby to the lounge area and each room is spacious for maximum comfort.

Its a great location near the airport and freeway plus a terrific staff.
