Dirty, filthy rooms. Bedding had human hair and blood on it and wasn't changed or cleaned by housekeeping.

I give this place not even one star there were condom wrappers behind the head board of the bed, blood stains, other unwanted stains on the sheets and walls of bathroom, staff was horrible, unsafe place to be the heavy marble table fell as I put my bag on it onto my toe and scratched my leg the place smelled like old ground meat that had been out for days mixed with a smell of weed ugh oh and let's not forget the needle found in the parking lot… The first room they gave us had a a person staying in it that they didn't know was in there … 2nd room had a homeless looking man in it … then we finally got a room with no one in it but it smelt like feet and all other what not this place needs to update it's pictures and remodel.

There is a nice outdoor pool in an open court yard which is from 3 and a half feet to 6ft. However, the room needs to be updated a bit. There were a few missing handles on the drawers and the bathroom door need to be fixed.

I've never stayed here, but I walk by it often. It's well-maintained and looks inviting. I'll probably stay here when I get tested for bugs next time around.

Stayed one night. Do not recommend. Found false eyelashes left in the tub and a DEAD MOUSE under the table by the bed!

Whatever you do trying to avoid staying at this hotel. It had roaches galore. Unfortunately when we stayed it happened to be Essence Festival & we were leaving on a cruise the next morning, so this was the only hotel available at the time. I was bit on my arm, & I still have the bump bite. The only good thing is the desk clerk name Tammy. She was nice & friendly.

The manager and front desk were nice but this place was terrible! It was disgusting! Cigarette butts everywhere! Including the inside of the window! The room looked nasty and outdated. Trash was behind both nightstands. The bed looked like the only made it instead of changing the linen. All the towels in the bathroom looked unclean. I even saw smudges on the towels. The chair in the room! Omg! It was horrid! Stained and ripped and old! Only two of the lamps worked! This place looked like something from a bad movie! The pool area was nice clean and updated but not the room!

We checked in around 10am and the lady at the desk was quite short in talking to us. Didn't get a receipt. Elevator smelled like urine. Dresser was missing 2 handles and the door wouldn't close. Chair in the corner had white stains on it. Shower had a used bar of soap (hotel soap in package was white, not green) in it. We used the stairs on our way to grab food, they were poorly lit even during the day and littered with cigarette butts. The pool was cloudy and gross looking. Would NOT recommend. We called the Double Tree across the street and made a new reservation. Walked out of Econolodge without talking to the front desk. Called customer service from our new room.

Stayed here May 5th & was disappointed. After being at the ball field all day in the heat, we had no hot water to bathe, and no ice bucket. The pool was nice, however we were told upon check in (at 9pm) that it was broken, yet people were swimming 1st thing the next morn at 8am.

Will never stay here again! It was filthy/disgusting! Sheets weren’t changed, I’m assuming because we paid for two nights! We decided not to stay the second night, left, and let them have it! Never again! Needs to be shut down!

I won't ever stay here again. 1 star, cause I couldn't leave, no Stars. I wish I had brought my gun to feel safer. Stay away from this place unless you're looking for crime or people that look like they have been drinking paint thinner hanging in the lobby. Staff was rude. Found drug paraphernalia in the room. Slamming doors and screaming outside like there was a street rumble. Will be contacting orbits for some kind of refund. Only reason we stayed cause it was prepaid.

The room is horrible, paint peeling off the wall, no tissue paper in the bathroom and the mattress feels like one from the 80s. Very convenient to the airport. I will not book here ever again no bang for your buck.

Wifi didn't work, but has a pool and is in a great location. 15 minutes from the French quarters. McDonalds is next door and their Wi-Fi is exceptional.

Wouldn't recommend my grandbaby woke up vomiting and when I took the bedding off there was a bug in the bed not sure was bed bug then went to take off a blanket off my bed and saw another bug. The garden area had trash everywhere and by the fence of the pool area. Fridge was dirty and the lil area where you can put the small ice tray was frozen up with ice.

Disgusting, blood on walls, room smelled like booze, ashes burnholss in blankets, dirty wash cloth on floor.

Don’t Do it! Go the other way if you’re thinking of staying here. Our room smelled of urine and mold with various stains around. The shower ceiling had mold with dirty walls. Someone came in to place towels before we made it to the room so somebody obviously saw how bad it was but didn’t care!

SMOKED IN CRACK PIPE INSIDE COFFEE POT WATER REASIVOR… tears in bed sheets … tub bad stained from poor cleaning… dust on headboard at least a 1/8th inch thick part of the light bulbs blown in room. Also missing lamp shade. Did not clean or restock room. Took complete payment at time of booking on credit card 1+ months prior. Very weak continental breakfast. Low security. Very poorly maintained walk way and grounds. The only plus side to this place was a handicapped lift to courtyard pool that appeared clean and decorativly lit. GIVE THIS PLACE A THUMBS DOWN! SPEND MORE MONEY AND GO TO A NICER PLACE! DOES NOT MEET THE STANDARDS FOR THIS CHAIN! Hotel management did not seem to care when they were told of crack pipe. And due to poor lighting did not see pie until I had already drank about 4 cups of coffe… boy did I learn a lesson! … we only book here to pick up one of our group from airport and 1 day sight seeing in New Orleans and depart for cruise.

I agree this hotel does SUCKS! it's nasty and dirty and I will never stay here again. If you come here and stay at this hotel maybe you're used to living in a dirty environment. I seen it all I stayed in room 239 for two nights woke up with bed bug bites. I'm going to post the pictures on here so everybody can see. The manager is very rude and disrespectful he would not talk about the situation I had to contact Choice Privileges. And they gave me free points but that does nothing for me because I couldn't even get refunded back the two nights I stayed in that room. I will never stay here again this place a rundown for sure and not worth the money or the time.

This hotel SUCKS! As you noticed I capitalized the word SUCKS! The breakfast is really a continental breakfast and that sucks! Luckily McDonald's is next door which is the only reason why I gave it a one on the rating. They really should tear the building down because it looks like it was part of the Hurricane Katrina wrath which it looks like they tried to patch it up but did a very poor job. My expectations of the quality of this hotel were flushed down the toilet once I arrived.

The old saying you get what you pay for is not true because I paid a good rate and did not get what I paid for.

It is right by the airport which is a plus. The rooms are decent for the price. I've never any problem there.

Wow this place needs improvement. Saw a review from 2 months ago saying the elevator was out and it's still out. 1st room had dirty sheets. Got switched. As previously mentioned… housekeeping definitely needs improvement. Trash all around, behind toilet, behind and under nightstand. Lights missing lightbulbs. Ironing board but no iron. We'll be moving tomorrow. Surprisingly, this place was great 2 years ago.

The bed was not made up when I arrived. I tried calling the front desk several times and no one answered. I went to the desk and told the agent my bed was not made up and that I wanted it made up before I return from an event I was headed to. I returned about five hours later and it was the same way. I went make to desk and mentioned that it was handed while I was away and the night attendant let me know that it was my fought it was not made up because I arrived after six pm. He became very argumentative and gave me two bed spreads. I asked him would he remain in the room, and he answered that he would not and that he didn't have another room to switch me to and to mention the issue to the manager in the morning. I went back to room and noticed the bed mattress cover was covered with what appeared to be bodily fluid stains. So, I proceeded to pull it back and realized the mattress was even stained worse and has what looked like bloodstains. I opt to sleep in a chair in the corner. I tried to adjust the temperature since it was getting cool and notice the unit didn't have the knob on it to turn it up and just turned it off. I couldn't sleep due to sound of all of the road noise on the street outside the window. Around six a. M. The sound of airplanes from the airport began to drown out the road noise. One elevator was broken and the other one looked horrible like it had not be cleaned in a while. I took plenty of pictures if anyone wants to see them.

Thus hotel proves the old axiom you get what you pay for. My rate was very low and so was my room. There were unidentifiable stains on the easy chair in the room plus the sheet had cigarette burns. The breakfast was very basic and the service was mediocre. It took two requests the get a desk chair. Overall if you can afford better than go there.

The room wasn't that great and mold was everywhere also the maid kept just walking in while I was asleep. The only good thing is it's cheap.

This hotel will never get a star from me. You should be ashamed to even want people to actually stay a second in those awful boxes you call rooms. I encountered trash, roaches, dirty sheets, and the filthiest towels you have ever seen. A complete shame. Do better. I understand that this is an economy hotel, but this is ridiculous!

The pool is gorgeous. Elevator on our side was out of service. Staff routed me around but didn't mention it was out. Room was a little musty but not unbearable. Microwave not in the room. Fridge hidden in dresser. Priceline offered the best rates in the area and it was a good value. Majority of staff not super friendly but did their jobs. Had everything we needed. Check out 11 am.

Worst place I've ever stayed. The first room was dirty when we arrived. Food was on the dresser, the trash had not been taken out, and the bathroom floor was wet like someone had just showered and towels were on the floor. There was no phone in the room and the TV did not work. I called the front desk from my cellphone and was given another room. The air conditioner in the second room did not work and the toilet would not flush. The hot water did not get hot. Do not waste your time here. I will never stay at another Econo Lodge.

By far the nastiest place I've ever stayed in my life. And I have stayed in some very cheap places. But due to reserving on Priceline was not able to get a refund from them or the hotel. Neither one of them wanted to help us out and allow us a refund even after us telling them how disgusting this place was and pointing out all the bad in the room. It was a health hazard, not sure how they are even able to be open for people to stay there. There was mold around the windows on the ceiling. The ceiling looked like it could cave in at any time due to water damage. There was blood in the bathroom and mold all over the shower curtain. There was some stuff on the wall that look like human feces. Im sure I'm missing something. Just downright horrible. Would not suggest staying here unless totally desperate and had no other option even then I would probably sleep in the car.

It was a nice hotel. I enjoyed my stay. It has nice rooms and a nice pool.

This place was disgusting! Avoid it if possible, the first room they tried to stick us in was in the back where we passed: condom wrappers in the courtyard, the ice area/laundry room thats breeding the next plague outbreak, bloody shirt laying on TOP of the overflowing trash can, and at least two drug dealers. The kid at the counter was very helpful putting us into our second room (104) — that was a palace compared to the previous (223).
Unless you're in town to score cut-rate hookers, drugs, and possibly a communicable disease this is NOT the hotel for you!

I'm positive I need penicillin and a delousing after our night there! It was 1am and we had no other options. The first room was beyond foul. The kid at the counter was awesome, and got us a new room (close to the entrance, a MUST for single girls traveling solo). The whole place was sketchy and filthy. I made the mistake of walking by the laundry room/ice area where I'm sure the next outbreak of the Plague is brewing. We won't start on the condom wrapper in the courtyard or bloodstained shirt on top of the trash. Avoid this place if possible!

Rm is the worst dust, dirt, cigarette butts, and ashes in non smoking rm dirty coffee pot from previous guest and fake fingernails in and around rm for our 2 day stay hard to breath in rm. Had to hit door in certain spot to get it open. Not to mention who ever came. In our rm left door open. I have to rate rm yo post bit I give it no stars.

I wish I could give 0 stars, water leaking and algae or slime on the sidewalk going to rooms. Room smelled stale and dank, as well as water leaking on carpet on floor, but didn't arrive with a wet vac til checkout time… awful place.

We chose this hotel because of the price, but you get exactly what you pay for! EVERYTHING was dirty! Shower curtains molded, bathtub dirty, towels dirty, sheets dirty, couch dirty and the smell was unpleasant! Ugh! They don't even deserve this star, I just can't post without one.

Adequate room for the price. Good location. The Wi-Fi was spotty however. They need to have irons in every room. You have to go to the front desk to get one. Other than that a solid experience.

The keys will not work. It took management forever to fix the issue. The guests were loud rude and obnoxious which led to the calling of police. The rooms were not the best. The sheets had holes or cigarette Burns in them. They had no fridge, ironing board with no iron. This is a place I will never go again and I do not recommend anyone to ever book this place even if it's the last hotel around. However the night desk clerk was trying her best to resolve everyone's problem, she was not stressing, she was very sweet, she deserves a raise. A raise up out of that place to somewhere that deserve her wonderful customer service skills.

Overpriced, reserves it's own rooms in advance during events and holidays to jack up rates and push out extended stay guests before they don't have to pay a city tac anymore.

Sleep there over night woke up to 2 big bug bites on my ass bed bugs, nasty not clean. Mildew on windows and. The elevator nasty and a lot of empty rooms in this place but they always acting like they have nothing. Not available to charge more money. Pool still got water in it from the summer dirty. Not a clean place at all.

Good hotel for the price. We knew it was not going to be a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was slim pickings and the room was not the cleanest but it was one half the price of any other hotel during our stay.

This hotel was close to the airport, so I booked it for 3 days. I only made it through one day because the conditions were inhabitable. There was mold everywhere, so much so that it hurt to breathe in our room. The room had not been cleaned well or at all. There were shady characters in and around the building, I felt unsafe. Our ice bucket was full of mild and I requested a new bucket from the front desk, the girl at the front desk made a face and gave me a new dirty bucket. I complained and we were given 2 more rooms to check out and they were actually worse, cigarette burns in the bed and broken furniture. I had had it, I did not want my vacation ruined by this motel, I lost some money by not staying the remainder of my time at this slummy motel but the Comfort Suit is right behind them, so we stayed there instead. I have never experienced a place so unsafe to sleep and people pay to stay here?

1 star is still to high of a rating for this place. We walked into are room to the smell of mold/mildew. After looking around we found mold growing all along the window and ceiling. The ice bucket left in the room for us had black spotted mold all on the inside. They moved us to a different room that smelled like something died in there and still had mold growing on the inside of the window all along the sill. Needless to say we packed up and walked over to the comfort suit next door for a wonderful experience. The health department should really be shutting this place down. I rate it a 0 even though they make me pick at least 1 star for the review. Save your money and your health dont stay here.

The room was not thoroughly cleaned after the last person left and it also had a musty moldy smell. The Wi-Fi does not work. Spend a little extra money and go to another hotel. They have bugs too.

So gross! There were stains on everything. The ceiling was chipping, the lamp shades were all broken it was terrible.

Well, when I first arrived I put on the second floor. Room was pretty bad. Big hole in the seat, smelled like smoke even tho it was a non-smoking room. The Wi-Fi wasnt working on the 2nd floor so they moved me to the first floor. Room was better. Arrived at breakfast next morning around 930am and there was NOTHING! No coffee, garbage cans were full, no worker to be found other than front desk who was busy. So upon checkout, my son apparently left his stuffed animal in the bed. Now this stuff animal has been in my family for 25 years. I didnt realize he left it until the next night, when he wanted it of course. I immediately called the hotel around 9pm the next night and was told housekeeping was closed to call tomorrow. I called the next day and was told they dont have it. Asked them to check the room and they said they would, heard nothing. Called again the next day, nothing. No answers. No explanation of what they did with his stuffed animal. Nothing. I cant even get someone to check the room! manager mentions today that they usually throw stuff like that away. Are you kidding me? you dont even hold stuff for a couple of days for people? Just lack of understanding or empathy on their part, not to mention the sub par hotel. Spend your money somewhere else. And I would suggest that even if we had our stuffed animal.

My expectations of this place was low due to the price, but the walls and windows were so thin I could hear every car, person/conversation outside of the room. A decent nights rest was impossible considering the hotel is 10 feet from the main busy road.

Seriously I was skeptical about the place because all of the other reviews I've read. We checked in at 2 pm and left at 6 the next morning. Pros: — Clean room — Clean towels (minus the pube that was in one towel, but I'm just pulling hairs…) — Room smelt fine. — Friendly desk clerk (Can't remember her name, but she was very helpful making sure my drunk @** got to my room. ) — Close to the airport and lots of shops and restaurants. Cons: — Room was supposed to have refrigerator and microwave and had neither. — Noizey activity at night such as planes and other guest doing there "thing". I highly recommend this place for short and long term stays. I can only speak for my room though.

Way over-priced. Staff isn't helpful. Rooms are disgusting. There's a La Quinta next door that is much better for just a little more money. The first room I was given had people still staying there, and reeked of pot. The second room I was given had no sheets on the bed and two big bags of trash on the floor. The person at the front desk blamed it all on the fact that check in wasn't til 3pm, even though it was already 2:40pm. Then she completely gave up and said I would just have to wait til a manager came in because she didn't know what was going on. I honestly can't believe this place is still in business. I got a refund and went to the La Quinta next door.

Great location with plenty to do around you. Rooms are spacious clean and a bargain for the convenience. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Staff isn't good. Doesn't care. Room wasn't prepared well. Phone didn't work. Internet didn't work. I travel often and this was by far worst hotel. Didn't like it so I checked out a day early. Give it 2 out of 10.
