Terrible hotel, no hot water or water pressure in shower, the rooms were not clean had a smell, loose tiles on the floor in the bathroom, had to step over a leaky Water hose at the entrance for 4 days, noticed many safety hazards around the pool. And not to mention it’s supposed to be nonsmoking well it wasn’t around our room. Lesson learned!

Great location and very clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. I say here every three weeks.

My co-worker got bed bugs while staying here, which turned in to over $600 in out-of-pocket expenses to mitigate the infestation of his personal property once he returned home. To date, the hotel management has done nothing to compensate him. They've actually taken to avoiding his phone calls altogether. Think twice before you stay here, it may end up costing you a lot of money.

I love it here it really nice at a great price and the staff is top of the line!

The room was very dark and the view was of a wooden privacy fence. The toilet did not flush well. The pool was dirty. The only reason I give them a three is there breakfast was really nice and the hospitality was good. We stayed on the bottom floor. Maybe the other floors were better. I would not stay there again at least not on the bottom floor.

Had to get a new key card 2xs while we were here two days because they quit working, elevator was slow enough that I could take the stairs to get to my room quicker, beds uncomfortable, nothing more than a sheet and thin "blanket" on beds, paint chipped off walls, floors in elevator and hall stayed wet from the pool, had to park in the back at night (because parking in front was full) but was nervous because apparently the back parking lot is also a meet up for people going out to leave their cars and carpool, complete with women in tiny/tight clothes (they looked great though! ) and men with loud music blaring. Very clear our room at one point had water damage-floors were uneven and tile in bathroom was lifted. Two phones (oddly) in the room and neither worked. Had to ask for blankets and they were more like a throw. Found three hair clips in our room that were not ours, so can only assume it was not cleaned very well before we got there.

There were four of us sharing a double room from Thursday night till Monday morning. The whole time we were there housekeeping NEVER came to get our trash, give us new trash bags, new towels, or wash cloths. Never came to give us toilet paper, never came to get our dirty linen, tissues for the bathroom… nothing! Everyday I had to go "find housekeeping" if we wanted anything. The last day we were there housekeeping said they were gonna clean our room while we were out. When we arrived back at our room we realized NOTHING had been touched, replenished, our dirty linen was still there and so was the trash. I had to go downstairs to the main desk and ask for EVERYTHING we needed and carry it all back upstairs myself. The breakfast waffles were nasty, they had a sour taste as if it was old or someone had put sour cream or "something" in the batter. Everyone there at the hotel said the waffles were nasty and didnt taste right. Who knows what they might have put in the batter.

Disgusting hotel! VERY dirty, stained furniture, stinky room. Hotel staff was extremely rude when we informed them about the room. They did not care and never once said I’m Sorry to us. Please save yourself from having to experience this place. There are several nicer hotels in the area for the same price. They also lied to the hotels dot com representative who contacted about our stay. This place is horrible! Watch out!

House keeping doesn’t do their job, never got fresh towels on a 2 night stay. They never made the bed or took out trash. There was old food in our mini fridge and the mini fridge would not stay closed so my drinks never stayed cold. Called front desk for fresh towels and they told us to walk down and get them. The only thing good was the breakfast. Manager needs to test co-workers on hospitality.

Wingate use to be real nice but has gone down hill, I had to keep putting the chain on the toilet so I could flush it, and the rooms carpets are not as clean as well.

The accomodations were well done for a handicap room. Plenty of w/c room. The beds were firm and comfortable, with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was good and easy for me to get to in my w/c. The evening staff were excellent and very helpful. The downgrade is based on the lazy and impolite desk staff on trying to checkout. You should only checkin and checkout in the evening.!

This is not worth $153.00 hands down old, dark and dingy. Smells musty. Very disappointed!

Large room with medium soft bed. The pool was ok but hot tub was cloudy and nasty looking. I was looking forward to a nice soak after long day driving but didn’t happen in that hot tub! The 2nd night was a long night due to people in the pool with loud music (we were on the 2nd floor also! ) until after midnight. I know we saw signs about pool closing at 9pm and was told definitely by 9:30. I didn’t bother calling front desk, since there was no way they were unaware of this happening. Very disappointing customer service.

The staff was absolutely horrible and rude. They NEVER greeted you when you walked in the hotel. We showed up 17 minutes early for check in and they said our room was ready but refused to let us check in. They wouldn't answer the phones when we called over and over to get more towels. My husband went downstairs to ask them for towels and they told him he could carry it up himself. The toiletries were not full and looked like they were used before we got there. The pool looked filthy and the hot tub was green. We will NEVER stay here again!

This has to be the worst hotel in this area. Shriners patients stay at this hotel weekly. The rooms are NEVER NEVER cleaned for the family and patients. We get the same room every time. And tonight my 2 year old granddaughter found A PAIR OF SHOES NOT BELONGING TO US. I guess they feel like as the Shriners have a contract with them they do not have to clean. So disgusting. They need better training and certainly better housecleaning. check the room before you pay.

This place is really beautiful we loved it clean nice up to date we will be back.

Grat rates. Brother had 12 day hospital stay. They had great service nice rooms.

Nice hotel in area. Rooms clean and staff friendly. Pass on breakfast for me but its okay if in a hurry an hungry.

Check in was great. Staff was friendly. Elevator had what looked like urine in the corner. We dropped off luggage and went to the casinos. Come back around 10-10:30 and there was 0 air conditioning in the room. Went to the bathroom and there was hair in the sink (looked like shavings). Called down to front desk and was told there was no maintenance man on that evening and they had no other rooms. So at 11 at night my husband and I had to find another hotel to stay at.

This hotel is a joke, upon arrival they double charged for the room, the hotel has 4 floors, 1 elevator, and only 1 luggage cart. The maid supervisor was super rude and threatened to give us dirty towels. Some people got stuck on the god awfully slow elevator last night. The room almost smelled like mold and mildew. I would rate them — 50. Such a shame! Oh the breakfast food was pitiful they served frozen biscuits for u to warm up.

Honestly, pretty dumpy and dirty. Kind of like a cardboard shelter they just threw a few coats of paint on. Had actual cobwebs in my room. Definitely not in the nicest neighborhood either. Staff is friendly but you will never EVER wait less than 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk if you need something. Housekeeping didn’t stock toilet paper for 3 days so kept having to go down to the front desk and wait to be helped and then have them fetch some. Thermostat in the room only worked off and on. No hot water from the sink no matter how long you let the faucet run. Free parking, free breakfast and free Wi-Fi though so…. That's where the 3 stars come from.

A little older but we'll maintained. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is usually very good with pancakes and waffles.

First the good, the hotel is extremely well situated in convenient to get to. The rooms are also a good size and laid out well. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast options are reasonable for a hotel of this class. But this hotel also has some cleanliness problems. During our one-night stay it looked like the dust had not been cleaned off the hose that goes to the toilet tank since the hotel was renovated. There was mold in the caulked joints of the shower No towels were to delivered to the room so we had to go get some. I saw a small roach crawling on the granite counter above the mini fridge and microwave.

Front desk at night is rude. Careless attitude when ask questions concerning hotel. First rooms toilet was not working properly. My friends room door was not locking properly. Called down to front desk and requested something and they had an attitude.

Stayed here Monday thru Friday for 4 weeks, from Nov — Dec. Everyone was friendly. It's close to several casinos, shopping, boardwalk, an restaurants. Its clean an quiet. I would come back.

The location was easily accessible from I-20 & close to the casinos, retail, & restaurants. Our room was nice but the walls & switch plates appeared to have not been cleaned recently. We did not receive maid service after our first evening. They knocked on our door before we left the room for the day but did not come back. The front desk staff was friendly & helpful.

I stayed 3 nights on Thanksgiving weekend. Although the hotel looks new on the outside, it looks about 10 years old on the inside. The shower backing around the tub looked very old and beat up like they tried to save it from an old hotel. The caulking job was terrible and there was mold and mildew under the caulking. All of the finish work with the tile, painting and detail stuff is very sloppy, I know it seems minor and petty but it lets you know there's no pride taken in the work done on or in that hotel. After the first night they never brought a bath mat back for the shower, the did not replace the wash cloths and I'm pretty sure they kept rolling up my same used towel and putting it back on the shelf. In an attempt of making the bed, they threw the covers back up but didn't actually make it or even touch the pillows. Any 5 year old could have done a better job. There's also a lovely smell of sewer gas that would fill the room in the mornings. My impression from the over all care of this hotel is lazy and apathetic. They even double charged me and the manager insisted it was my bank not them. It might look nice in the photos but avoid this place.

Great place but on my upper limit of cost and THEY ACTUALLY HAD GOOD LIGHTING IN BATHROOM but sucked everywhere else AND JUST WONDERING WHY NO ONE PUT a light above the coffeemaker area? NO ONE CHAIN that we have stayed at has this. The breakfast was a no go everybody waiting on waffles cause only meat was sausage and probably turkey no bacon was seen had a helping of runny eggs and a yogurt and 1 ufo sausage and got to say coffee was great the personal was also great.

This hotel had the nicest staff and cleanest largest rooms with amazing decor, we were so pleasantly surprised.

My second stay at Wingate was as enjoyable as my 2st time. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was very affordable and the continental breakfast was delicious!

Disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The threshold to enter the bathroom was extremely dirty. A roach was found by the bathtub and the entire room smelled like mildew. The drawers on the credenza that holds the tv, flies open whenever you close the front door, but they have tried to nail it and place folded paper in between the drawers to hold it shut. The lobby and hallways are decorated beautifully!

Oh my gosh I love this place very clean all the things I needed. Great beds rooms was calming loved towels coffee in room go on. Love the work out room small but was good pool was great breakfast was very clean and good l hope this hotel keeps it up.

Would be 5 stars if room door would have shut properly and not have to be slammed shut and shoved open. Bathroom door was the same. Customer service was great and beds were very comfortable. Overall, everything was pretty good.

I stayed at bossier city LA 71111. The room was nice and clean. I did not enjoy sleeping on the pillow, not enough for me was too soft. The deadbolt lock could not lock. Bathroom door would not close correctly. Cold water knob leaks water. The morning breakfast was wonderful. 4 stars.

Pretty decent hotel for the area. For some reason you could only flush the toilet once an hour it would not flush again unless you waited. The room phones were not connected, one didn't have a telephone jack. Other than those 2 issues it wasn't too bad.

This hotel was beyond words. Out of three rooms, none of them were clean, but our original room was by far the worst. It was as if the linens had never been washed or changed. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Even though the environment was absolutely repulsive, the front desk clerk, Greg, was very nice and helpful. He apologized profusely for everything and allowed us to reverse our transaction without any trouble.

Room smelled of smoke and mold, we were moved rooms three times, and when we called the front desk for help they said there was nothing they could do and hung up on us. We did not stay more than 40 minutes, we ended up leaving for a better hotel with some actual customer service. Would not even sleep in this place for free.

Nasty hotel! First room we walk into was moldy. Mold on the ceiling and around the outlets on the wall. We asked for a different room and that one had a roach crawling on the lamp. The next room they showed us still smelled of some mold. We asked for a refund but were told NO REFUNDS!

Pros-Friendly staff, clean room, location. Cons-Room wasn't ready, elevator quit, breakfast sausage was gross.

The room was spacious and inviting. Everything was clean and modern. Exactly what was expected with a Wyndham hotel. The breakfast was decent and the pool area was good, but needed to be cleaned a little. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean room, curious staff, great location. Some construction nearby made travel rough but obviously outside of the hotels realm of capabilities.

Location was decent. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Stagg friendly and helpful with check in and replacement keys after we lost the ones were had.

Booked 2 double bed rooms a week in advance to leave Texas and stay in Louisiana. Upon arrival I was issued 1 double and 1 room with a king size bed. My credit card was charged for 6 rooms. My funds were tied up on my card. I could not spend my own money. After explaining I needed my money for my trip I was told that there was nothing that could be done until Monday. When I called back on Monday the hotel would not make accommodations for their error of inconveniencing me financially.

Room, location and the service was top.

A) wrong number, takes you to a hotline type thing that includes several different hotels apparently, so didn't book where I wanted to, but didn't know this until I arrived at the hotel without, B) the emails confirmation I'd requested 4 times: once two weeks prior when originally booked, once a week later when I realized I didn't have it, once ON THE WAY to the hotel when I STILL didn't have it, and last standing in front of reception making an idiot of myself on the phone with the number for their hotel, telling me I had C) booked two rooms with two queen beds each. Which was not what I got when they finally clarified I was booked for the Microtel. Customer service is terrible, booking was completely wrong on several fronts. Don't do it.

NOT PLEASED AT ALL I booked ahead of time online a room for 1 month, received a confirmation email and was looking forward to my stay there. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told there was no record of my reservation! This was very distressing, because after a long day traveling expecting to be able to go to the hotel and relax, I was left with nowhere to stay. The receptionist was not very helpful, and actually laughed at the situation and said I was probably scammed (even though the reservation was made off of their official website). I left the hotel and found somewhere else to stay. 3 weeks later I receive an email from Wingate saying that my reservation is confirmed (again) with the total charges listed. I called the customer service number and was told that there was an error with my previous reservation (which was still on file — — so no I was not scammed) and that they didn't know why this happened. I had to notify my credit card company to not authorize any charges from this company because clearly there is something wrong here. This was an unnecessary headache and I will definitely not recommend doing business with this place to any of my family or friends.

Very clean! Very friendly and helpful staff! Comfy beds. Good breakfast. The breakfast lady was extremely kind, very good at her job, and very helpful. Great experience.
