Great hosts and clean well prepared room. Kids on same floor but it was still quiet in room. Truly enjoyed it, simple on the go breakfast but for the price it's well worth it. Enjoyed the updated wood floors very nice touch. Building is clean and inviting. Folks here have all been sweet and down to earth good souls. Will definitely return hopefully soon for more cracklins.

Extended Stay America is say five star hotel to me it has the same you caring staff you would find in a much fancier Hotel Plus it's completely furnished right down to the pots and pans and that's luxury and what we have here.

No attention to detail rooms could use more clean expertise, clean tables, chairs, refrigerator/microwave inside and out, remote control, door knobs and handles, light fixtures, mop floors, wall spots, under the rim of toilets and deodorize. A good clean hotel room should requires attention to all these areas of your not practices good safe housekeeping than you're rooms are not clean and putting the public at risk. It takes less than five minutes if done on a regular bases. Patriots check all these areas before renting.

My husband and I frequent this hotel often because he works on the road, normally the only issue we have is housekeeping repeatedly asking are you checking out? Before check out time. But this particular time, we check in and the first thing I noticed as soon as I went into bathroom was, a fully molded toilet on the inside very visible, and urine still on the toilet seat. I go up to the front desk and tell them the issue, and she finds us another room. So the girl proceeds to check out the room first to make sure everything is good, but then when I go in and check it out, it's the same as the other one. I didn't want to go down and complain again so instead I went down and asked for a manager, she then stated to me that she was the GM, which I didn't believe because of her attitude. My husband started speaking with her at this time because of course I'm frustrated now, and he tells her it's the same problem. She then proceeds to "grab another set of eyes" to find another room, this time she gives us a room with a seemingly brand new toilet only to find urine drops on it. I give up! Never again.

Ladies at the desk really nice, but the rooms not that clean. We had four rooms and one family member had to move. Door wouldn't lock, and the second room was not cleaned. Best was used. They had to coma and clean room. I had hair in the tub and a big in the towel. Very old and even the luggage cart had a flat tire. I will never stay here again and wouldn't reccomend it either. I've stayed at extended stay before but they were more updated, cleaner, much nicer, and better.

Rooms were clean and nice. Pretty much you get what you pay for. They did have good coffee in the morning, which helped after a late night of partying.

Very nice hotel. Very affordable and clean. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again and again. If only they had a pool tho. ☺

This hotel gets an F. I booked a King Suite room. When I arrived, I received my room key and proceeded to my room. Room had never been touched by housekeeping. I called to front desk, and was told to come back down so that they could give me another room. Told that there were no more king suites; i'd have to get a standard queen room. Very disappointed. I received $5.00 back for my inconvenience. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Extended Stay America Lafayette Airport.

This hotel/ motel should be immediate remodel. It has a stale, damp, wet smell (like 2 wet dogs) as you walk in the door. Outdated decor, yellow hue to light bulbs, dark parking lot. I just did not feel safe… strange layout… But the most important reason you should think twice about staying at this place… Their policy is to make a xerox copy of your credit/debit card to put in your file to cover incidental charges. I laughed when the clerk asked to make a copy of my card. There was no way I am going to allow you to copy my card and put in a file. Whose to say you don't destroy the copy? … whose to say you did destroy it?. How do I know you only made 1 copy? Obviously, that shows the caliber of this business. My information should not be in some file cabinet or a drawer at the front desk. Higher quality hotels, and inns do not use this practice. They just swipe it and give it back.

Great place to SLEEP. BUT the Wi-Fi is slow and doesn't load any sort of videos and they try to make you pay for a higher speed which wouldn't make much of a difference AND they have like 20 channels no Disney or Nick for kids only News channels. Oh and please don't expect breakfast they offered a granola bar, oatmeal, and coffee which wasn't even made. He claimed they were low on food which was a lie because 3 months ago it was the same excuse. I stayed two days and called when I noticed my room wasn't clean when I returned I was told that I have to stay 6 days to have a housekeepmer clean AND would have to pay $10 a day for it. I said I would then she told me no housekeeper was on duty which wasn't the truth… Had to bring my own towels and sheets down and make the bed. Watch your surroundings.

Stayed in one of the pet rooms for two nights. Aside from two of the lamps not working we really enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely recommend to others.

I have been staying at ESA for several months for work and the staff is always friendly and very helpful when I need anything. The rooms are spacious and newly updated. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place was great… staff was really nice and had a great sense of humor… friendly! Room was awesome… I stayed on 1st floor… internet worked great! No complaints here.

The rooms where nice everything was clean until I layed in bed and my boyfriend woke me up saying they have a bug on your pillow so I put the light on and to my surprise it was a bed bug so disgusting. I couldn’t get a refund because I booked it on the website so the next morning I told the morning he was very nice and he come up to the room with gloves and a housekeeper and checked the room he didn’t find anything but I showed him the stain on the sheet where my boyfriend killed the bed bug. After I checked out I went to the hospital to see about the little red bumps on my arms and legs and in fact it was bed bug bites. The rooms where nice but the bed bugs just had me at aww because I would never expect that from them.

This hotel is terrible it deserves — 5 stars it smells of rank pets and smoke despite no smoking regulations. The carpet is saturated with smelly pet funk. They have a huge disgusting bed bug infestation and pretend that they dont to insult customers intelligence and to save money instead of replacing their disgusting 1980s mattresses that are covered in bed bug feces and blood from previous victims. The fixtures just like the mattresses are dated raggedy broken and the amenities that you pay for included in the room like the stove toilet tub dont work properly (clogged tub/toilet). The staff is rude and does not help you at all when you address them on these issues. Do not stay here it smells like dog fur and dope.

Seemed like a clean, quiet and safe hotel. Loved that the vending machine took cards, what a life saver! Nice hot shower with good water pressure too.

Would not recommend this hotel. 1st room they give us wasn't cleaned, they had dirty towels and trash everywhere. The 2nd room was pretty clean but the a/c and heat did not work. After a trip Back down to the lobby they finally got a room we could stay in which was a regular double room with really small beds which sucked because I had booked a deluxe king room. Oh… And don't count on them having any breakfast either.

Great hotel room that's nestled in a nice, quiet area. The room (314) was very comfortable and spacious. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who is visiting Lafayette for business or leisure.

Super friendly staff, and clean, comfortable room. Had a problem with the air conditioning unit in my first room, but was quickly moved and upgraded. For the price, this was a great stay!

There is no 24hr desk clerk, the security door was left unlocked for 3 days and 2 nights. Not feeling safe at the hotel. Also I didnt find any water fountain in the lobby. The good side it was there were rooms available considering there was a lagco event, and the room was clean, and smelled clean. The hall way was humid considering the security door was left open. Also good note, it was affordable.

Zero! There were three of us in three rooms. The first problem was that the person at the front desk told us that we could not get three rooms together, put one of us on a whole different floor, then checked the next person, who expressed that he did not care what floor he was on, in the room across the hall from us! Then I discovered I had feather pillows — gross! The quills stuck in my face all night. Then there was a light over the stove that shone directly into my face all night and the on/off switch didn't work. Ditto the fan over the stove in my friend's room. I finally got the pillows switched out, and we got the fan and light fixed the night before we left, but I woke up with an itchy rash on my arms and legs. I went to the doctor — oh, yes, BED BUGS!

If 0 stars could be given, it'll be it. I had a late check in (2am on 9/9/17) and the lady told me to leave my information and credit card info that they'll check me in later in the morning. That same night (around 9 or 10pm), the room above kept making noise (jumping and stomping). I called the front desk and complained about the problem. The clerk said he would call them. After 30 mins of waiting patiently and the noises increasing as though they were retaliating due to the complaint, I went to the front desk to complain. There was already a lady there complaining about the same room. The desk clerk said he would see again and asked for my room number. He found out that I still wasn't checked in and probably wasn't going to be checked in for the entire stay (5 nights). I packed up and left because of the noise and the inability for staff to handle the situation. Poorly organized, dirty bathroom, a non-smoking room that smelled like cigarettes and the clerk said they wouldn't charge me for the inconvenience. Next thing I know, there's a charge on my credit card. Good job, Extended Stay America. I'm going to extend my stay the hell away from this hotel.

Staff was great. Everything else is horrible. I work in Lafayette and have to travel there every week. They don't tell you but they don't clean the rooms and the "free Wi-Fi" they boast about is the speed of 1999 aol dial up. They throttle the speeds to. 5mbps and you'll only get half of that, then try to get you to pay for an upgrade to 1mbps. If you have to work a lot remotely stay far far away. These are no where in their terms but this is a hidden policy of extended stay America. Needless to say I'll never stay at one of their hotels again.

We arrived at 4am. It took over 20 minutes to check in. We had to sign a form stating we would not smike in the room and our room smelled like the home of a chainsmoker who quit smoking a week ago. The room in and of itself is just okay, kinda not. The toilet has not been cleaned in a while which was upsetting given our arrival time and after driving for so long we had no fight to get moved to another room in the moment. The soap was melted to the wrapper so bring your own. No conditioner, thank goodness we brought our own. You have to request a coffee maker and everything you expect in an extended stay hotel. I would try the newer hotel for the same rate down the street, Woodspring Suites. I would not stay again. Definitely not a place I would choose for an extended stay knowing what I know now.

Great price for what you get. Friendly staff and cozy rooms. Very clean and modern. Getting on Wi-Fi not user friendly. You must call tech support to allow them access to your IP address. Security problem?

The hotel is great! It's nice, clean and comfortable. The pool was wonderful. I came here for a conference, and my family was pleased! Visited the Omni, and the rooms looked the same! We got this room for a steal! Can't ask for anything better!

It was a better hotel than what I was expecting so that's good but sadly they gave away the room type I made reservations for. When I arrived at 8pm they said they tried to call.? They didn't have the deluxe 2 queen beds with sofa sleeper only a room with 2 queen beds. They made up for it on price but the kids who had to sleep together weren't happy. The sheets had cigarette burns in them and the blankets were very worn. Bedding needs to be replaced. Good location though with super friendly front desk staff and they accept dogs for a reasonable fee. Yeah!

Decent rooms not 5 star but if you need to stay in a pinch for cheap this great spot. Free internet slow as dialup or you can pay.

Very disappointed. We couldn't access our room the battery was dead on lock the worker had to change battery in order for for us for us to access our room. Room smelled like smoke and there's no smoking. The worker gave us, a free night. When pulling sheets back I discovered sheets were dirty mattress covered had dried blood on it. Called and complained we were given clean linens had to change bed ourselves. The TV in living area didn't work there were no remotes or wastebasket in room. Totally disgusted. I will contact mgmt. Will not recommend this hotel!

Nice place, but god forbid you leave anything behind. The staff will pocket it you will never see it again. Partner left behind a pricey pillow with an obvious neon blue and white pattern in a red pillowcase and the maids took it home. It is impossible for it to have been mistaken for a hotel pillow and reused. It was straight up taken by the maids. This place can piss off.

There were dead roaches in the air conditioner vent area. Bugs and stains on the bed sheets and dead bug bodies on the walls. The fact that they were all hopefully dead was the only ok part about this room. Needless to say I barely spent an hour in the room before leaving.

The worst, nastiest hotel I have ever seen in my life. The sheets were soiled. The bathroom was nasty. There was food in the room. House keeping never cleaned that room, nor looked at it for that matter. The front desk clerk was so rude and not helpful. She told me it was not her problem and she doesn't clean rooms. The clerk stated that there was no other rooms available. Worst service ever. This place stinks and is nasty stay away.

Horrible place to stay in the room was just horrible.

Our A/C went out last night in our home. We booked a hotel through Expedia close to my work, to lessen my drive time. When we checked in at 10:44 pm, we were given a non smoking room on the third floor. The hallway smells like years of smoking had been going on and the air was acrid and gross. Someone had burnt popcorn in their room and was airing it out into the hall, the alarm was going off and no one came to look into this. Our room smelled better, so I kept telling myself that it was OK. We found a half loaf of bread in the cabinet but the room looked OK aside from that. At 11:00 pm we had dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings, as it was one of the few places still open. We came back to the hotel and showered around 12:00 am. After a 30 minute shower or so, when I pulled back the blankets of the bed, there was grass, pubic hair and beetles in the bed. One started flying around the room, I killed it with a shoe and called the after hours line and informed Lilly that we would be checking out. She was the only nice person in this place. We turned in our key to the room and left, choosing to stay at our hot house over this gross room. This took place over the course of 2.5 hours! When I contacted the manager she didn't care why I wanted a refund or what the problem was, she just said to contact Expedia. When I called them, they placed me on hold to speak with the front desk and were told that because we had OBVIOUSLY stayed in the room they would not refund our money.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

It was only 1 of the guest service members that displayed Excellent Customer Service. The staff treats you like U are a bother to them.

I had the pleasure staying at the Extended Stay America a few nights on a business trip. The location was very convient and quiet. Close to alot of eating places, close to airport, and not far from I-10. The rooms where clean and spacious,, The laundry room was a big plus it was clean and all machines worked very well. The staff were very courteous, and professional they give good advice on surrounding attractions. The manager of the property called more than once to make sure I felt comfortable. And she let me know whatever I needed she was only a phone call away. For the price this is a really good deal for a hotel. I would recommed this hotel to anyone just passing through Lafayette.
