We were here 7/27-7/30. Our room was on the same floor as a traveling baseball team. Last night on 7/29, these boys were playing a wiffle ball game at 12:45 am unattended in the parking lot by the pool. I could hear all their noise so I called the front desk. It finally was quiet after 15 minutes, but then the boys proceeded to come up to the 6th floor, where our room was, and had a hallway party until 3:00 am. Not one single parent or coach came out to tell them to be quiet or go to bed. Very sad parenting & coaching skills. I will never stay on a floor with any traveling sports team again. Zero sleep & my alarm was set for 6:30 am. 😫😫😫

The staff not friendly they have bedbugs and mold every where I wouldn’t pay all that money to stay there and I’m telling y’all this because I know what goes on there because I was employed there.

I have stayed at a handful of hotels in the last week and this one has by far been the absolute worst. Our hotel room was very dirty. There was a layer of dust on most surfaces, including our coffee maker and Ice buckets. They do not have coffee past 10 am and no complimentary breakfast. I’m fact, you can’t order any food period past 10 am. Some people do not get in until 2 am and it would be nice if I’m traveling all night to be able to wake up later in the morning to some coffee downstairs. All the hotels that I’ve stayed in, in the last 2 weeks had 24/hr coffee. The girl at the front desk was leaning over with her head resting on her hands and never even stood up when I came to the desk and was incredibly dry and rude. Our shower was super dirty with mildew and even part of the other persons soap still left in the soap dish in the shower. When we arrived last night, it was super late and we were all very tired and it was like walking into a club. The lobby has a restaurant right by the front door and the poor staff seemed so stressed out. It was so loud that I couldn’t even hear what they were telling me and there was no side entrance to bring my children in so they were wide awake once we got to the room. We were also told that we had a river view room and we got a parking lot view lol. They do not offer queen beds, only double beds, so it was a tight squeeze with two kids and two adults.

Spent 210.00 for one night on a room. They had two full sized beds. No microwave, no icebox, no free continental breakfast. Rooms were outdated, bathrooms outdated. Ive stayed in hotels twice as nice for almost half the price in lafayette. If all you have to offer is a nice lobby and an ok pool than ill pass. Overated and outdated.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable; bar is easily assessable and clean, besides good service. I definitely recommend staying here if in the area!

As paying customers we were completely overrun by outsiders. Very unruly crowd took over. Worst hotel experience ever.

Beautiful hotel with super friendly and very helpful staff. The staff here give true meaning to the words "Southern Hospitality" This includes the shuttle drivers who were second to none. Thank you to everyone for helping make my 4.5 day stay comfortable and unforgettable. Hilton Hotels Inc, your employees at the DoubleTree Lafayette should make you proud. They all deserve a raise. Paid a very high price for a room and was Very Disappointed with the stay!
Very loud all-night people cursing, yelling and banging in the room beside us and the hallway. We could not sleep due to the noise. Told the staff at checkout and they said it was our fault because we did not call… We had been traveling for over 8 hours and just wanted to rest, didn't think about calling ANYONE!

Most wonderful hotel in Lafayette, La Staff are all extremely pleasant. Quick service for whatever your need is at the time. Nice pool too! And those fresh hot cookies are waiting for you when you walk in the door! Great prices and services! Clean rooms! I love this place.

Very large and nice hotel. I did not stay in the rooms here. I just attended a company wide meeting here. And the was large enough to hold everyone.

One of the best stays in some time. Wonderful staff, awesome bar staff, clean comfortable rooms, Hilton honors guest room is best. Great happy hour in evening and breakfast each morning.

At first I was impressed as I was travelling with a 6 month old and they had a shuttle waiting for us at the airport. However, once we checked in we had to switch rooms once as the room smelled like mold. Our second night here and I get a knock on the door with two security guards telling me to "tone it down" as they got a noise complaint. I was literally running the bath for my baby while talking in a normal tone to my mother on the phone. The security guards were incredibly rude. At this point I was not happy given I was paying $125 a night. I asked to talk to the manager. The person they sent to talk to me was the shuttle driver who picked us up the night before. He was not very apologetic. I was told they could change my check out to the next day if I wanted to go elsewhere with my 6 month old child. I will never stay here again. The worst doubletree experience I have ever had. If I didn't have a 6 month old and all his stuff I travelled with, I would be ending my stay early and taking my business elsewhere.

I had a wonderful surprise party for my husband. 60th. The bar 337 is phenomenal. The staff was outstanding and the food was fabulous. Perfect place for a party. Please call Arlene in Catering. She is the best.

Very clean with excellent staff. The pool area has plenty of space to lounge with ample sized pool. The lobby is nice to hang out and have a drink before your evening. It's centrally located too with good local food around.

Great hotel! Best perk = the warm cookies at check in. The hotel was very clean, the pool was great and it's right on the river, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is not included and the buffet was like $12. Also, there are 3 elevators for 15 floors of hotel… there was a conference and ball tournament going on when we stayed so we waited a very long time for the elevator.

The hotel is really nice! The shuttle from the airport was fast and easy. And the shuttle took me to an awesome local restaurant when I was ready for dinner. Upon arrival, check in was smooth. The staff was really friendly and helpful (and I got a cookie! ). The room was clean and spacious, and the air conditioning worked great! The only problem I noticed was that I had a neighbor with a rather booming voice, and I could hear a lot of his conversations. But overall, excellent hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

The bedsheets had a blood stain on them from the start and the room had a bad smell. I didn't get the feeling that my room was cleaned properly or disinfected good enough. The only positive was the staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful.

Very good place to spend a weekend. Very clean and fresh. The employees all, everyone I saw, seemed genuinely concerned that my stay was pleasant and genuinely interested in making it better, if they could. It is very close to good restaurants, fast food joints, and well known local eateries, like Blue Dog and Eddie's Biscuit.

The company I work for always uses Hilton brand hotels when we travel. The room was nice and comfortable. Good food for breakfast. Friendly staff. I will be staying here on my next trip.

VideoDj Víctor is first class. His Latin nights are fun and classy. But watch the chick at the door. More than once she has charged $10 when the announcement online says guys $5 and ladies free. We come from baton rouge so it makes more sense for us to pay that kind of price and go to New Orleans. He's great tho. Plenty of room to dance.

Fantastic customer service but everything minor just kept on going wrong with our room. We originally got a king and said they were working on them and placed us in a double queen. Then the ac in that room wasn’t working and the service counter guy said we could move in the king the next day for our second night. Have us the key. Walked in. Another double queen. Went back down with all our luggage and gave it to them to place in our waiting king room while we tour around. 3 thing back to back happened to us. But they’re so friendly and will help you.

I love this place. Every time we stay here it is always a treat. Speaking of treat, you get free cookies :) and they're delicious. Just ask front counter when you get there. The executive breakfast is really good and worth it. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service and conveniently located on the river. We attended an event in the evening and enjoyed the Hotel bar until late. The place was super clean with plenty of parking. I can definitely recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton as a great Hotel that we will be coming back to.

Beautiful Hotel. Food is amazing and Staff is very friendly. Only with the beds were a little softer. I don't like medium or firm bed, but it wasn't bad.

Great hotel, great staff but there are no microwaves in the room but one downstairs. No one wants to go down to the lobby to heat up food especially at night.

It's one of them hotels where: if you arrive late, or a healthy guy like me like to bring his own healthy food, have to get out of the comfort on your room and find the microwave in the middle of the lobby so you can heat your food there like a hobo. It's simply unacceptable. Put a microwave in the rooms!

We used our Hilton Honors points from previous trips to pay for our stay. Our stay was very pleasant. We were put on the 11th floor which doubles as the Hilton Honors floor, which is nice, I’m assuming it is exclusive to Hilton Honors members like us. The rooms are nice, very spacious and clean. The beds are also clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well finished. I was very pleased to see an anti-slip mat in the shower, often hotels have slippery showers and I’m pleased that they have addressed that (even if it was possibly at the expense of someone else falling). There was an adequate number of power outlets, only on the desk, the one of the lamp outlets only had intermittent power (in room 1110). We slept well and departed the next morning pleased with our stay. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel in the Lafayette area.

Decent rooms, quiet and clean. Breakfast is $12 a head, nothing great but fills a hole. Not much nearby but fine as a way stop.

Oh my gosh, we stayed at this hotel this past weekend because we were in town for a concert. I ordered the macaroni and cheese from room service and wasn’t expecting anything spectacular, was I ever wrong. That is absolutely the best macaroni and cheese I’ve ever had. I cannot stop thinking about it. I will never be there again to try it, butI wish I knew their recipe or where they order it from. Absolutely wonderful.

The housekeeping staff is amazing and is always going above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again. The view of the water is quite pleasant as well.

I love the hotel Double tree. My purpose there was for the beta convention and overall my experience was good. The employees are nice and friendly even though the room service isn't all that. I ordered pillows and stayed up all night for them to come and they never came.

The staff was amazing and met all of our needs including placing all of our 13 rooms together! The breakfast buffet was a great added bonus as well.

Employees are super nice and the hotel is fancier than expected. Only issue is the king size room bathrooms aren't very big. Other than that, everything is great.

The DoubleTree Lafayette has adequate space for our conference, but is located on a busy street without many options of places to walk to around the facility. For accommodations rooms are ok, they could be cleaner and more updated. The beds are comfortable with a lot of pillows. The complimentary internet connection is slow and not all of the plugs work in my room.

Only got to check out 337. There was a $5 cover to get in. The "club" area felt like hotel meeting room with a bar in it. I don't think I would spend money to go back there.

Stopped by for a late night dessert with friends. The cheesecake was okay. The brownies were FANTASTIC! Three stars mostly because the wait staff were borderline rude.

This is a very nice hotel. One is the nicest I Lafayette. Certainly the biggest. I can't speak on the rooms, as I only attended a real estate seminar in one of the conference rooms. But from what I could see, this is a very nice place with a restaurant and a bar.

I come here every week because I live in mobile but come here to work. I've done this for almost 2 month and it has been fantastic! Everyone is extremely helpful its always clean wether its the room or other in the hotel. The door person always greets you kindly coming and going the beds are extremely comfortable and warm and everything done by housekeeping is perfectly done. The only reason its not a 5 star rating is there is no mini fridge in the rooms and I'm hoping it will be noticed in my review but other than that it was a beyond 5 star experience I highly recommend!

The hotel itself was nice but the room noise from the room next door was annoying. Especially the snoring. The bathroom was very humid as well. So much so that the walls and ceiling were covered with water and dripping and caused nice puddles on the floor. We had a room with a river view and two queen beds (Hilton has the best pillows). Room service at the DoubleTree had a much better selection than the Garden Inn Lafayette but the steak was better at the Garden Inn. The "wings" were excellent. The breakfast buffet was very tasty as well. It was a nice stay overall. I'll see how the room noise is next time.

We really liked our room — spacious, outlets on the lamps on the nightstands, plenty of space on the bathroom counter, nice coffee setup. Our only complaint is how cold it was in the lobby — the air-conditioning was so extreme we avoided going there for breakfast or even a drink after dinner because we knew we'd be uncomfortably cold. We're not sure if this is a Louisiana thing or what, since we're from the West. It's not really even that hot outside in October. We didn't say anything to management, hate to be that person, but maybe tomorrow.

This gorgeous hotel was a beautiful venue for a friend's wedding reception. There were many guests, but it never felt crowded. The staff was helpful and informative.

We got the Deluxe King room, it was bottom floor with sliding door opening to pool area. Kinda smelled of mildew on 1st floor. Cleanliness was good all around. Breakfast buffet was yummy. Very affordable prices.

Ask for Mya she is super awesome and knowledgeable! Very clean rooms Friendly staff Gorgeous view of the river! Also saw a baby alligator laying out on the bank of the river during our stay! Loved it We will be back again soon. The cookies are to die for Amazing!

Very nice Hotel. Convenient resteraunt that provides room service that doesn't break the bank. Lobby area and meeting rooms/ballroom amenities are great! The only reason for the 4 star review is that the 3 elevators aren't enough to fit the capacity of the hotel on busier weekends. The wait for the elevator can be close to 5 minutes if you use them during the busier times. No free breakfast but there is a concierge floor is you are a diamond member that provides free breakfast and food at night. That being said that is one of the nicer Hilton's that the norm.

Love the chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. Large rooms with comfy King Size Beds. Room Keys through the app are convenient. Nice restaurant and friendly service from the cleaning staff.

Recently renovated. I had stayed here years ago when it was the Hilton, but looks very different now. Right by the river. Lots of parking, but you may have to walk a bit. Lively atmosphere in the lobby in the evening at the bar. Breakfast available, but for a hefty price. Skip the continental option; at $11, it's only $2 cheaper than the full buffet.

My hotel room smelled like mildew upon checking in. The refrigerator did not work properly so I had to throw away all perishable food. The beds that are supposedly queen size barely had enough room for me and my 6 year old. Room service stole money from my room and when I called management they said "she thought it was a tip. " Also, a member of my group had multiple bar tabs charged to his room from another person. There is no check to see if the person ordering is actually the guest. The bartender asked for a room number and that's it. Also, they do not have a self serve laundry facility so you have to pay extra for them to wash your clothes or find a random laundry facility in town. I would not stay there again or recommend to other people.

My boyfriend and I were travelling to Crowley to see my family and decided to stay in Lafayette because accommodations tend to be nicer. The Double Tree was conveniently located close enough to the airport and around nice eating options. My boyfriend is a Diamond member so we had an upgraded room that was incredibly spacious. We also had access to private lounge with complimentary breakfast, snacks, and non alcoholic drinks. There was a pool that we didn't use but we used the gym which was nice and clean. We were very satisfied with our stay and thought it to be a lovely hotel property.

The facility is outstanding! The staff, the rooms, the view, all top-notch! If you're planning a visit to Lafayette, LA this is definitely the place you need to stay!

We couldn't pick up Internet in our room. Room was clean but nothing special. Seemed like they wanted to dollar you to death. No complimentary breakfast either.

15 dollars for breakfast when most hotels do great free breakfast. We had to leave hungry everyday. Otherwise an awesome place to stay. Great pool area overlooking the river and an old draw bridge.

Double Tree hotel in Lafayette LA was awesome. The rooms were clean and comfy, the pool area was tidy and the staff was extremely helpful. They made my family's stay something to remember and we will be going back soon.

Room was large and clean. Proximity to elevators (noise) might bother some people. Staff was friendly.

The only criticism I have for this DoubleTree location is: 1. They do not serve coffee past breakfast 2. The menu options for room service are very limited and there is no fish option as a main course. 3. The outlets in the room are few and far between. If these things matter to you, this will be a challenging stay. For most people, these are small gripes and this is an otherwise great hotel!

The place was nice! The Wi-Fi and Internet was horrible! And all the front desk ladies were very rude! They have a transit bus but it only takes you two miles.

Great staff at this hilton. My wife frequents here while traveling for work and adores it. Also had a block for a wedding in town and got upgraded for free! Nice bar downstairs too.

Attended an event at the hotel, which was catered and staffed well. Lovely night and ended just as grandat the hotel bar and club were the staff was again very accommodating.

We really liked it, but the air wasn't as colas we would have liked it and the bathroom was small. That being said I would recommend this hotel and the staff was great.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times — pre — and post-refurbishment. Before the overhaul it was an OK, but aging Hilton property. Now, it's really nice. Everything I would have criticized in the past has been fixed with one exception — the noisy elevators. In fairness, solving that issue would be expensive and difficult. The rooms have been refreshed, the lobby and bar are very upscale now, and the restaurant is open and the food much improved. Even the executive lounge is completely new. A huge improvement overall and I would highly recommend this hotel when in Lafayette. An above average Doubletree in my opinion.

The entire hotel was under construction! What a nightmare! Hammering and banging began at 7:30 am sharp! no bellhops. No luggage carts. No coffee in the room. Called for it 3 times in 45 min. Finally went to the desk to get it myself. No shampoo or conditioner. I was told because they are changing over to the Doubletree they were putting new bath toiletries in the hotels. So you check people into rooms without any? My "beautiful river view" looked horrible because the pool and hot tub and back patio were also under construction. It would have been nice to have been told when I booked. The service for everything was all around terrible. Won't stay there ever again. After driving around, there are plenty of much nicer hotels all over town.

Room met expectation. Internet was okay for web surfing, but if you're going to be doing heavy traffic items like VoIP or large file sharing, can be annoying. Believe my download speed was in the single digits. Otherwise, room was clean. Minor scuffs on walls, some flaking and bubbling of paint on bathroom ceiling from shower moisture. Room had been redone. Staff was not rude, but did not feel treated special. I am a Hilton Honors member, and no perks were addressed or mentioned. I was never addressed by name. For me, if i'm not at a conference at the hotel, which I was not, then I am paying extra (168/night w/tax for King) for service. Otherwise I can stay at a budget hotel for half the cost with the same level of service.

Filthy and unkept. I stayed here for business and the stained and torn carpet on the way to the elevator was only the first of many offenses. The ceiling in the room's bathroom had leaked from the floor above and was fixed by less than an amateur, and was stained and mildewed. The bathroom floor was unswept and the desk chair looked as though it had been left outside in hurricane Katrina. Some of the staff were not what I would call "friendly", though others were very much so. This facility is NOT typical of the Hilton brands of hotels.

Average Hilton hotel, but they were hosting an MMA fight and there was no parking for paying overnight guests. Separate parking is needed for events. Crowd was also loud until after midnight.

Do not come here on business. I've traveled all over Texas and Louisiana for business and this place has the absolute worse internet service I have ever experienced. Remember the times of dial up AOL and falling a sleep at your computer while it loaded another webpage? Now make that ten times slower and you have the hilton Lafayette for over $100 a night.
