Beautiful hotel! Wonderful staff! Breakfast was amazing! A heated outdoor pool?! Crazy! People were swimming and it was 30°. Not super fond of the “weighted” quilt on the king bed. I couldn’t breathe and had to use my robe and a car blanket for warmth. Otherwise, nice amenities and perfect being able to walk through Crown Center shops for lunch and over to the Union Station to enjoy the huge Christmas celebration of 2022. All in all, I’d def return!

This hotel is a dump. They let people smoke in the rooms. Meeting rooms are toxic. Late check ins. Don’t stay here.

Our items were stolen out of our room after requesting late check out! The hotel had no concerns! Police report done! Hotel claim supposedly put in!
How do a person get into a locked room and they can’t read the door activity?
They have no cameras for their guess safety, only in the lobby and a few exits!
This was deff a inside job, and I want justice!

The staff were friendly, good food and drinks at a reasonable price for a Westin Hotel. We needed EV charging which was available in the underground car park. You need a Charge Point account which was easy to setup.

It's a nice place and in a great location but make sure you check your bill. I stayed 3 nights. I was billed for 2 days of internet and then also billed for a no-show, which is crazy since I was there. I'm having a hard time getting this issue resolved. Go over your bill at checkout better than I did!

Very friendly staff, great amenities and large rooms. Conveniently attached to Union station and lots of shops. Right in the middle of the city.

Nice comfy beds, with fairly large rooms, and stunning views of downtown Kansas City. Downside, maid service is non-existent when you choose the green option. After two days, had to request clean towels and more coffee.

Apparently having your room serviced by housekeeping is optional. We actually asked twice to have our room cleaned without any response from the hotel. They did finally bring towels, but only after we asked for them. Pathetic lack of responsiveness. It is now Day two and despite multiple requests, still no housekeeping service. Guess how often we'll be back.

Beautiful hotel, luxurious bedding, and pillows. Great drinks, shops, movie theater. Everything under one roof.

Love this hotel. Great location, beautiful, most comfortable beds, great service … and my husband says they have the best fitness center he has seen, that includes his recreation center. I love that I walk out of the elevator into the Crown Center with lots of wonderful shops and restaurants. Walking distance to two of the MUST see sites in the city: National World War I Memorial and Museum and Union Station.

Although my Mom and I both live in KC, I wanted a neutral space that we could hang out and catch up, just us two for Mother’s Day. The hotel is beautiful and offers great food and entertainment options. The rooms are nice and the bed is comfortable… so comfortable in fact, my Mom didn’t want to get out of it. We had lunch and drinks downstairs in the afternoon and decided to spend the evening in the room watching a movie. We ordered room service and all was great! What really stood out to me was how polite and conversational every staff member that we came into contact with was. From the front desk lady to the bartenders and servers, to the room service employees. We had such a great night and it was due to the employees at the Westin making it a memorable night.

My son reserves the same Suite every time he comes in from Dallas and it will accommodate my entire Kansas City Family comfortably. We don't indulge in room service mainly because there are so many interesting eateries in walking distance. From fine dining to Tacos. I found everyone on staff extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is beautiful and we enjoyed that each of the three days we stayed. Actually believe that no matter where you stay the attitude and service that you receive is dependent on the kind of energy you extend yourself. And always when you are traveling and participating in a large group activity, the quality of your stay rests primarily on your internal event organizer anticipating and accommodating your requests. I have been staying there since the mid-90s and I have never been disappointed.

I stayed at the Westin hotel in Kansas City, to the tune of $250/night, and I was shocked to find the Westin was complete Trash! Two tiny Double beds that looked like they came from Motel 6. There was a smear of something brown on the carpet. There were gaping holes you could fit a small child into, in the wall by the outside window, and dirty broken green gunky fixtures with hair in the bathroom. Dirty curtains, dirty furniture and walls. Even the windows were really dirty and cloudy. It was disgusting! I travel a fair amount and when I can afford it, I like to treat myself to a nicer hotel, but the Westin was a complete failure. Not only that, but the costs of everything beyond the really expensive trashy room was outrageous. Room service breakfast was $63. $20 a night for parking, and $14 a day for internet! Stay far away from the Westin in KC if you are needing a hotel in downtown KC. In contrast, today my travels I am staying at budget chain hotel for $99 a night, and the people here have gone above and beyond. Unlike the Westin, everything about this place feels like more of a luxury hotel than it is. FREE internet, FREE parking. This budget room is spacious, beautiful and spotless. I got a mini studio with a nice couch separated by a half wall, with the most comfortable pillow top king size bed with 6 fluffy pillows. Breakfast is yummy and FREE! The AC blows frosty air, and there are lots of cable channels.

I wish I could put negative stars! This place is horrible! They charge for Wi-Fi, over charge for everything, rude as can be. I got room service, took them almost an hour to bring 2 roasted turkey sandwiches. They were ice cold. Front desk told me that's how they served them. Told me I could warm it up myself 6 floors down in the lobby. I have a 2015 f250 platinum diesel truck and they tried making me park it in the tiny parking garage. Their chains scratched the entire cab of my truck. I told vallet about it and he was worried, I spoke to a manager named Bill and nothing was done. He was an ass! Absolutely rude! Actually when he asked for my credit card in case of hotel damages, I asked if I could have the hotels card for my truck then. He glared at me. I mean who cares… It's just a $70, 000 truck
He also tried getting us to downgrade from our workout room with a king size bed to a standard double bed but wasn't going to change the price… I despise this place.
