First thing I notice strong marijuana smell on the second floor bathtub had hair on the walls bed had a brown stain on it the front seat lady says she is a manager is very unprofessional the pool was cold I asked for them to change the temperature I the pool the said we cannot do that then I went out for couple hours came back my room was untouched went to front desk and the told me the housekeeper left for the day the don’t know why my room wasn’t cleaned I even requested it before I left so I am never coming back here.

Arrived last night to check in and my room had been given to someone else. The front desk clerk was upset that the employee before him messed up and he had to be the one to fix it. He did not have another room available. When I called corporate I was told that because I booked through Hotels. Com they could not guarantee a room for me and was giving me a rate for a different room when I was just told by the front desk clerk that no other room was available. I told the guy on the phone thank you for your time, but was not paying more for a different room that was not even available and ended having to go to a different hotel. I called hotels. Com and they told me they guarantee the rate and the room. Not sure why corporate would say different. The guy working the front desk definitely needs a different job as he is not a people person. While standing there, he got a call from the person in a room and had nothing but attitude for that person. It was ridiculous.

It’s not the worst place we have stayed but it’s not the best. The beds are very tall and pretty comfortable. The cleaning staff could use a bit of extra training as, there were some hair in our shower and a set in stain on one of our beds. Since we didn’t need both beds I didn’t ask for a change in linens but I’m sure they would have given them to us had we asked as the front desk manager seemed very nice. It is a college town so the hallways have some odd smells but it doesn’t seem to carry over to the rooms. We stayed in room 310 for being near the elevator it wasn’t too noisy. You can hear the interstate but I mean what do you except, it’s right near the interstate so you know duh. We did have a unique experience in our room. We had our luggage on the bed we didn’t use and my make up bag kind of took a trip off the bed and hit the wardrobe. But hey, if the only spooky thing is a lil friendly ghost, I will take it. I would recommend the hotel for the price, and the location. Thank you for the unique visit while we were in Columbia.

I'm a travel tech and I stay in one place for thirteen weeks. I have been here in Columbia since January staying at best western the hotel is clean and whole staff is very friendly and helpful through out my stay.

3rd time staying at this particular hotel on our way cross country. Once again, everything was fabulous! Clean, comfortable rooms. Polite, helpful staff. Pool temp was a bit chilly, but otherwise nothing wrong! With the location within walking distance of some favorite restaurants it's becoming a favorite stop of ours!

My overall experience was satisfactory. The room met all of my needs, the staff were friendly and professional, and things generally appeared clean and orderly. I only have two complaints/suggestions for changes. One is to be a little more thorough with housekeeping as I found a used hand towel hanging over the shower curtain/rod that was apparently missed when the room was last cleaned. Something also needs to be done about the elevator, which bangs loudly each time it opens and shuts. My room was right by the elevator so I often heard the elevator throughout the evenings when I was there. Thankfully I'm a heavy sleep so it didn't bother me too much and wasn't worth the hassle of requesting a room change but if I had been a light sleeper I definitely would have needed to request a room change.

Great customer service at this location. Breakfast area was extremely neat and food at appropriate temperature. Some in our traveling party felt the highway traffic was noisy but others slept fine. Fitness center was well kept and supplied with appropriate equipment. Hot tub was out of service but hotel website made sure we were well aware that this amenity was not in use. There is an elevator available. Hotel has easy access to 64 West bound and is close to Stephen's Lake Park which is a great place to stretch your legs on one of their trails or to let the kids out on a playground.

Room and hotel were great — clean and comfortable. Convenient location BUT VERY NOISY. Traffic noise — but the worst was the loud noises from the floor above us. Called the front desk — they apologized but nothing changed. Sounded like someone moving furniture and jumping up and down — kept me up for hours.

Overall a very good experience. The room was nice and clean, the shower was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. The pool, hot tub, weight room, and Business Center, were good add-ons.

Had three rooms, were not ready on time nor serviced completely. Poor parking/hotel entry setup, no place to park to check in. Obvious damage to one corner of exterior due to fire or something. No rear entrance where the main parking area is. Rooms were nice, beds comfortable, poor maintenance on showers/handles/drains.

Great location for Columbia or just traveling through. However, try to get on non highway side of hotel, otherwise, there is some road noise noticeable. Parking is adequate but most of it requires a longer walk than normal to reach the hotel and your room. Nice room and inner hallways, average BW breakfast. Internet speed is average (read — a little slow). Electrical outlet for plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles would be a good addition.

Not a good experience. Bathtub drain cap missing — called to report it — brought me a cap to put on myself and it wasn't the right piece or may have been had I had the tools to take it apart and try it differently. Parking lot lighting so bright and window shades so poor that room seemed like daylight was shining through the window all hours of the night making it difficult to sleep.

Location was good. Easy access to highways, but it is a little noisy. Rooms are small and hotel seems a bit dated. Refrigerator was loud and the pool isn't heated but there is a hot tub. Overall, the experience was ok.

Nice Best Western, clean, comfortable and quiet. Google maps are a little off, you have to go past the maps location to see the hotel. Several good restaurants within 10 minutes. If this review helped you, please give me a like!

Exceptional staff and nice hotel. We can not find enough great things to say about the staff here. They went more than out of their way for us. We appreciate them so much.

Easy to get to location. Parking sucked. None in the front. All in the back. I had room 112. Dont get that room. It was nice but its right by the pool and the walls are thin so you can hear everything. Breakfast was good. The best part. The staff was super friendly they were ready to help. Internet was good. Its right next to Steak n Shake that was awesome. Not a bad place. A little pricey but decent. 2 1/2 stars.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. It was very clean and smelled so fresh. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. First of all the room was huge. The room was very clean absolutely Immaculate will arrange the bed was extremely comfortable. The hot water was hot enjoyed the shower head. The hot breakfast was hot and incredible every single day and the breakfast attendant was absolutely one of the sweetest people I have met in Columbia. All of the staff was absolutely incredibly helpful. The only complaint I have about this hotel and that this is not where I live :-)

The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly. Our room looked like it had been cleaned a bit quickly and not vacuumed as crumbs look liked they were still in the ground and toilet paper empty. The pool and gym were good and satisfying for what we needed. We did have some miscommunication amongst staff in terms of check-out payment, but I figured it out myself and moved on. The beds were very comfy and it's right down the street from everything.

What a great bunch of people. They allowed us to check in a few hours early. When we reached the room it wasn't clean. The desk supervisor made it a priority to make sure we got a clean room and she did! Will be staying here again. I didn't have their breakfast or use their gym.

For being a Best Western Plus, I was disappointed at how old the bathrooms were in the rooms. I did not pay that much for the room so I was not expecting the absolute best quality, but I don't think this hotel deserves the 4.1 rating they have based on cleanliness alone. I did not shower in the morning because there was staining all over the bathtub mat and the shower had grime and dirt all over inside it. Breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable, though. They also upgraded my room to a suite for free when I got there so that was really nice of them. Probably won't return, though, unless I was to see reviews that their cleanliness has improved.

I review handicap accessible rooms. I have found this hotel fresh and clean. The room is large enough to maneuver a wheelchair with ease. A problem many hc rooms with roll-in showers have is water escaping the shower and making a slippery mess on the floor. This hotel uses a floor that is tilted toward a drain. It worms well. The only problem is with able bodied people, with bifocals, trying to walk on the floor that is not flat. This will be my "go to" hotel when I am in Columbia.

Definitely 5 stars considering the price point. The details make a huge difference in the little touches of decor. Bed was very comfortable. It was cleaned and well maintained.

The BW Plus Columbia Inn is a very nice hotel. The staff is attentive, the rooms are very good and the breakfast is fine. It is also close to the highway, shopping and restaurants. Although we haven't explored the city, it will always be out stop between Colorado and Ohio.

We stayed at this hotel twice and we like it a lot. Its clean, prices are reasonable, service was good, friendly stuff and good breakfast! Will definitely stay again!

Room itself was ok. However, after already laying on the bed, under the covers, we pulled the sheets all the way back to add a blanket. There was a spot of dried blood on bedsheet. Requested a new bed sheet. Took the sheet off and the exact same dried blood was on the mattress protector. Our sheet had not been changed. Spare blanket in closet had dried liquid on it. Will not be staying again.

A fairly nice Best Western with comfortable beds. Did not have any problems I do feel like the motels in Columbia Missouri are pretty expensive on the weekends but I used points. The personnel were very friendly And helpful.

Easily accessible from the Interstate and near to many popular restaurants. The hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet! The staff were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional in appearance and attire. Definitely will be where we stay when my Vietnam Veteran spouse has appointments at Harry S Truman VA Hospital & Clinics.

I stay in a lot of hotels this place is very clean it has a very clean pool area with a hot tub. No foam! which is rare and very needed for anyone with physical issues. Fibro needed it… felt great thank you! everyone the breakfast was fresh the coffee was good! Walk to several GOOD resturaunts! I will stay here every time I'm in Columbia thank you so much for the hospitality and helping with weird billing. ❤❤❤❤

This hotel has been nicely updated. Right off I70 and 63 so access was vey easy. Rooms were very quiet and clean and bed was really comfortable. Hotel staff was very courteous and friendly.

We've stayed here twice, it's a wonderful hotel, very comfortable bed and quiet room. Convenient restaurants nearby, and friendly staff. Can't ask for more than that, wish I had had time to work out in their fitness center, maybe next time. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Staff quoted wrong price upon check in. Said they would fix it only to be charged more. Reached out to customer service for help and they seem to care less about how poor of service I received. The area manager has even been contacted and she just blows you off as well. The lack of concern for your customers is the only thing this location is excels at.

Our stay cost a lot more than it was worth. Was charged three times by the hotel which caused issues with the bank. Was told by the staff it would be one price and was charged a completely different price. Called and tried to talk to customer care and the area manager patty feels I guess nothing was said wrong. So I am out. I would suggest to use a different hotel to start but if you do I would suggest a prepaid card because they really screw your account up. I stay at a lot of hotels so I know all about the holds. Never had this issues with any other one and they don't seem to want to make it right even though their staff gave wrong information. Will steer clear of Best westerns.

Very good location, just off the highway. Bob Evans and steak n shake in essentially same parking lot. Full breakfast with eggs and breakfast meat. To go bags at the reception desk for those who wish to eat breakfast on the road. Hotel and room both clean. Our room sis not have hot water. Hotel staff offered to either reassign our room or give us access to a nearby empty room. Half of the group were already asleep, so we opted for a different room. It was taken care of immediately and without hesitation.

This was a very nice and clean hotel. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. It was a bargain for the price we paid. The only complaint I have is they need to work on the breakfast bar. Our first morning there the bacon was burnt and inedible and the boiled eggs were covered in ice. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Everything about the hotel fit our needs. Great price. Spacious room. Nice pool. Good variety of breakfast options. Location. However, we booked in advance to get a better deal and lock in our date (fourth of July weekend) and were charged days before our stay (like normal). Upon arriving the hotel tried to charge us again, but after showing them our bank account where it had already been charged, they agreed not to charge us again. When we checked out, they did charge us again and locked up our bank account for the remainder of our trip (we were headed to St. Louis). When my husband called, they said a manager would call him back. He ended up having to call again when the manager did not call back. They finally credited it back it our account but it takes a few days to show back up. All this to say, we would stay here again, but if you book in advance and they charge you in advance, be ready to show evidence of that and make sure to keep an eye on your bank account so they don't charge you double.

The hotel staff is very friendly and responsive. We had an issue with the outdoor light shining directly in our room, causing us to lose sleep. While the staff couldn't move the light, they gave us clips for the blackout curtains and made sure we were taken care of. Luckily, we had painter's tape with us to completely seal off the light. Otherwise the clips wouldn't do much. We found a roach crawling around our room. It was only one so I'm not sure if it was a hitch hiker or a hotel resident. The breakfast was good with better-than-average foods (ie. Not just muffins and bagels). The pool was clean and well-maintained.

Nice hotel. Great room. Good water pressure in shower. Comfy bed. Pool and hot tub looked nice but I didn't use them. Friendly staff. Will stay again.

Room is very nice. Unfortunately after receiving a key to our room, we had to go back to the check in desk because our room had a king size bed instead of 2 queen size beds as requested. The dark curtains in our new room do not close, so lights from the 24/7 Steak n' Shake shine in all night.

A great place and great people to stay with them if you are in that area. Good eatery places are at walking distances. Larger rooms that most of places, good bed with great mattresses that you need a sound sleep after a long tiring day. Even a great place to enjoy weekend with our family.

My room was so spacious, they could have fit another king bed in there and still had plenty of room. Very clean facility. Excellent location right off the highway, and smack dab next to Steak 'n Shake and Bob Evans Restaurants. Free breakfast a plus and free coffee all day long a bonus! My only complaint was the bath towels weren't soft. I'll stay there next time I'm in town.

My family and I checked in Friday evening before heading to a concert. The associate working the front desk stated I did not have a rewards account and she would automatically set me up with one. I stated that we would never use it and there was no need, yet she still created one. I'm not a fan of being pushed into something I won't use nor did I want my name & information associated with. I figured I would unsubscribe on my way home. We made it back to the hotel rather late, but when getting ready for bed my daughter yelled at me. When washing her hands the sink just had all of the water going out the bottom onto the tile and splashing up on her. Literally, you run the sink and that water just goes onto the floor. I call the front desk & make them aware as we now have towels under the sink to collect the water & prevent a bigger issue of possibly falling on wet tile. The gentlemen at the front desk stated it wasn't right and that he would note this on room 311 and speak with the morning manager about either some reward points or a discount on the room. Let me point out that he did not offer a different room & spoke of points on something I didn't want set up for me. My family continued to brush our teeth, wash hands and faces all as the dirty water went onto the floor & even splashed up on our legs as the towels can only absorb so much.
