Everything! ❣❣❣❣❣it was very nice. Comfortable bed. Loved it!

The location is great, but it ends there. The rooms were not maintained properly. The exhaust in bathroom was broken and the carpet was ripped off in the main room entrance. The widows were full of spider webs on the outside. Luckily not on inside. The complimentary bf buffet, is not great either. They didn't have waffle maker, and were out of pancakes by 9 am even thought the BF was available till 10am. The people outside were dancing and playing loud music in stopped car and they didn't bother turning it down when they saw me approach towards my car (), with my 3 year old. The management is not worried about calming the guests or posting some signs to maintain proper conduct. I will not recommend this place to any one.

Our room was clean and beautiful. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. Only issue was the lights in the elevator were out but that wasn't major. Otherwise very pleasant stay.

Stayed here for my birthday with family. We had a double suit. The room was super clean. Beds are comfortable I could have slept all day. Staff nice and and friendly. Breakfast could be better it was ok though to be free. Loved the pool.

Finally — a hotel that lives up to my standards. The room is very clean. I always bring my own Clorox wipes and wipe every surface. This time, unlike other hotels I've recently visited (extended stay Hilton brand), all the wipes were clean — like I wasted my time because it was SO CLEAN! The kitchen is stocked — all the expected dishes are present — unlike the other hotel where multiple dishes and silverware were missing. I even found a dish brush hanging on the door of the cabinet under the sink! And dish soap, dishwasher detergent, kitchen towels, rags and paper towels. I am so happy! I also love that the room door closes slowly and quietly. My only recommendation to make this great hotel even better is for them to replace the toilet seats/lids with the kind that lower slowly and quietly. Otherwise — this place is great. Very responsive staff as well. Lesean and Debra have been great and very accommodating to my specific requests. Thank you ladies — Marriott is lucky to have you representing their brand!

Very friendly staff at the front desk (especially the operations and general managers), but only o. K. Hotel. Rooms could have been cleaner, and the breakfast left much to be desired — very poor selection and food quality. The person in charge of that area needs to learn how to provide customer service (and courtesy! ) and was obviously overwhelmed. Not all sheets were available in the room for the pull-out bed, so we had to get additional supplies from reception. The 2nd bedroom did not have a phone for a wakeup call available (the wakeup call in the other room was missed entirely). This hotel definitely needs some upgrades to reflect the Marriott brand. Location is very convenient to dining and shopping.

Clean property and rooms, friendly staff, just about anything you could want nearby. Convenient to Memphis but about 15 minutes south of downtown, so less hustle and bustle.

Enjoyed my stay, Receptionist was nice and polite. Bed was soft but I didn't mind. Lady in charge of breakfast was not all that nice. Over all nice place to stay.

Good accommodation with large rooms and well cared for furnishings. The breakfast offered is simple but satisfying. In the hotel there is also a small gym and a swimming pool. The location is not particularly convenient for those wishing to visit Memphis, but it is close to the airport.

Hotel and rooms were very clean and nice. The complimentary breakfast was stocked and had many different options. The hallways were dark and the room numbers were laid out weird. I’m not sure if it was because the rooms had kitchenettes, but EVERYWHERE smelled like food. It was incredibly strong and unpleasant. The smell reminded me of a nursing home. Even in our room, where we cooked nothing, the smell was very strong. We’ve never experienced that before.

The hotel was neat and clean, with beautiful lobby decor! We enjoyed our suite. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the complimentary breakfast was good! It was conveniently located near the highway, gas stations, restaurants, and other stores. We would definitely stay again and recommend!

A modern facility and great staff with very clean rooms and wonderful breakfast and convenient to Graceland and downtown Memphis.

The staff was nice and very helpful. Plenty of places to go and eat near by hotel. Would recommend staying here.

It is cosy place to find quiteness and for long stay. Housekeeping department is very great. I like the ample parking space here and free of charge. Restaurants and shops are near by. Overall, it is accessible.

Well kept up. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast left a little to be desired. Scrambled eggs inconsistent from day to day.

Great employee interaction, clean room and close to many locations. Awesome breakfast too! Bathroom fan, stove light and garbage disposal were inoperable. Would definitely return.

The stay at this hostel has been awesome. The hotel staff is wonderful.

If I could give No stars I would… we booked the last available 2 bedroom suite and management was unable to open the door because of a mechanical glitch with the keyless door… it took over an hour to solve the problem… after 11pm… first… the night person fiddled with door for over 20 min unable to open the door and then disappeared for over 40min… she should of had us come downstairs… she should have known that it would take maintenance close to an hour to come… instead my tired 3 kids with all of our luggage waited in the hallway on the floor… there needs to be training on how to deal with guests under these situations.

I gave 2 stars instead of 1 due to the below being my only gripe about this hotel. It was clean, I loved the room and location. But its not great when your things are stolen by the staff. We were referred to the Residence Inn by a funeral home in Memphis as we had traveled in town to attend funeral over the weekend. We left a couple of items in the room and when we returned for them a couple of hours later, they were no where to be found. Nothing had been turned into lost and found. We were floored, we expected more from Marriott, more from a hotel with such high ratings and not mention this hotel was not cheap! We were told that we had to wait until Monday to speak with the Manager about the issue; we informed the staff that we were leaving that day and they gave us a grievance form to complete. We had to leave without our possessions. If you decide to stay please double and triple check your room before leaving.

The air conditioning shuts off at night and then it gets really hot when trying to sleep.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were extremely comfortable and my only complaints are that we didn't have a hairdryer (even after requesting one) and the breakfast foods were taken away as members of our party were reaching for them and we had to eat at McDonald's instead since there was no food left out.

Definitely not what I expected from a Marriott brand. While the evening employees were friendly, they were unable to provide assistance when asked. The morning employees by comparison treated my wife as a bother when she was checking out. Not likely to stay here again. Will drive to the next one in any direction even if is 100 miles out of the way.

I only stay at Marriott brand properties when I travel, and usually I always pick Residence Inns if available. At this location, it was not a typical level that I was expecting. This location seemed to be more of a Fairfield Inn with a kitchen. The breakfast selection was pathetic, with the sausage being burnt or dried out. The cheese was old and dried out also. The front desk staff at night was very nice, even though they did not even have an extra pillow since they were out and I had even requested it on my reservation. The morning staff was not as nice and even seemed annoyed that I came up to check out. Overall, I will not go back to this one, save your money, there are enough other hotels to choose from.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, free daily breakfast and newspaper. Within walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. They even serve complimentary dinner a few nights a week. The suites are spacious with two bedrooms and two baths as well as a living area and full kitchen. The only downside is there is no pool on premises but you are allowed to use the pool at a neighboring hotel.

Good for business travelers. Ideal location with both restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Courteous and helpful staff.

This hotel used to be awesome we have been coming here a few times a year for over 5 years they changed management and things have went down hill poor room service poor customer service it's not very clean it's sad what it has turned into.

This was one of the worst Residence Inn that I have visited. The housekeeping staff with the exception of 1 refused to clean the room because I had my Shiba Inu with us. She's about 30 lbs, quiet and laid back… no threat to them in the least… I'm thinking the majority were just lazy and used it as an excuse since we either left the room or I baby-gated her in the bathroom… on multiple days we had to call the front desk just to get towels because housekeeping would leave the floor without even knocking. The hotel itself was ok, no problem with the furniture or kitchenette.

Good breakfast and snacks in the evening.

Wonderful stay… near everything! Clean comfy rooms, very spacious. Friendly staff. Had a minor issue, brought to attention of mgr and it was settled asap! I was treated like I mattered, not like I was the problem, and for that reason I will return and Southaven RI. Is one of my favorite hotels. Special Thanks to A. C. Smith, the hotel general mgr who knows how to right the wrongs and handle customer service professionally. Great job, my family and I thank you.

I was traveling with my children for a couple of days and decided to stay in this location, we knew the area and the thought of staying at a new Residence Inn was exciting. When making the reservation I requested a room on the upper floor. When I arrived I stood there waiting to be at least acknowledged. Justin came out a few minutes later to help us and gave us directions to our room. We parked by the stairs because that was the only place to park but guess what? Or room was the very first one by the stairs… Not good if you're a woman traveling alone or with children. I asked if we could be moved and Justin was very willing to accommodate us and promptly moved us to the 3rd floor to a room that had fleas, a barking dog next door and a barely working air conditioner. After scratching my skin off for 20 minutes I called and asked that we be moved back, at least the air worked, right? I didn't get any sleep because we were by that door. I decided to cut our stay short and leave. You know what I found the most interesting? The lack of resolution or even an apology for the stay. Residence Inn has a great reputation and for this one to drop the ball? Sad. We won't be back, we'll pay the higher price and stay in Memphis, they understand the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Stay here 2 weeks. My wallet was stolen from the room when I went down stairs in the evening about a week and a half it to the trip.

Room was fair for money, front desk help was awful, and unprofessional.

Room was clean, well appointed, bed comfortable, breakfasts were good and varied. I had made the reservation as a family get together and my daughter checked in before us. When we arrived at 10pm we found the room was a studio and not the one bedroom we had reserved. I had requested that we be near the access as my husband was on crutches. The first room was, but by the time they got us in a room that we had reserved, we were a long way from the elevator on the second floor. They did get us into a one bedroom but it was a lot of moving of stuff after a long day on the road. We were there for 4 nights, so it was a lot of walking for my husband to get to the car and breakfasts. We came with loads of equipment and tubs of photo albums as we were scanning photos for my parents 50th anniversary. The room gave us the space we needed to work.
