If you could give anything below a 0 inch hats what I would put! So let’s start this off 1st I was double charged for my room. I have been fighting with them since we left for a refund. 2nd during our 4 day stay they had no room service nor did they tell us they would not provide room service. No amenities. 3rd we found out our door would not lock. The front desk clerk told us we could
Just use the dead bolt. When I told him that would only work while we were in the room. He disappears calls my wife in the room and explains he could move us to another room
He would have to get ready and that the lock is messed up in that room as well. When I call about it the AGM tells me we opted not to move rooms. I tried to explain to her that why would you move from a room where the lock doesn’t work to another room where the lock doesn’t work. She told me that was not true when I tried to explain it to her that was the information her employee gave to us she told me I was wrong. (Because that’s something I would lie about)

If I could give negative stars I would. First off check in was horrible. Granted a lot of people were checking in for the World Series, but that’s called planning ahead. Second we could never could get clean towels and even had to purchase toilet paper cause we couldn’t get that either. The trash in the hallways and outside on the patio was always over flowing. Just trash sitting around. A member of our party offered to take the trash that was sitting outside to the dumpster and was never told where it was. On the last night the trash had been sitting outside all day from the guests. The trash can was full and 2 other black bags just sitting there to the point we ended up having mice crawling around on our feet! Gross! Called corporate to complain and was told I would get a call back yesterday. Guess what never got a cal back! Called this morning and a rep came in the phone and the call dropped.

We Stayed There Christmas Night and Our Room Was Dirty I Took Pictures Went Back and Forth With Staff And Nothing Was Done About It. I Was Told That I Booked Through A Third Party They Cant Do Anything. Wow! So The Appearance Of Rooms Are Not Hilton’s Responsibility Ok Not A Good Representation For Hilton — Unprofessional At An All Time High.

No parking, had to park behind the Hilton Garden Inn that they supposedly share a parking lot with which was also full.

Excellent hotel. Recently stayed there for a weekend trip to see Ole Miss play SELA. I will stay here again for sure!

I’ve stayed here for almost 3 months cause of work. I’ve had an ant problem, my room was not cleaned for a week and today my change was missing off the dresser that had been sitting there for 2 weeks for me to wash clothes. I’m a diamond member and this is not acceptable. Some staff is friendly and some are not. And the parking is horrible.

Have stayed here at least once every year for a week or more at a time since they opened. Always clean rooms and helpful friendly staff!

Very nicely done. Clean, comfortable, and great staff. They even held a little Super Bowl gathering complete with wings and snacks.

This place is NICE if you need a place to stay check this place out. Outstanding staff over the top. Will stay again. The kids love it.

Rooms are very clean and spacious, I was here for a week on a business trip and it was nice to have a kitchen. Pool is mineral not chlorine which is cool. They gym has nice free weights and a few cardio machines, very clean. Breakfast was good, wish there was a non dairy milk option though. Bummed about the lack of parking. Overall good stay but the staff are incompetent. It took two people to check us in and no one could troubleshoot our Wi-Fi connectivity problems. Side note, the town is depressing.

We enjoyed our stay here as we were passing through town. We didn't realize they were updating the property when we booked, but it didn't bother us. They were doing wallpaper in the morning, which may have bothered some people trying to sleep in. The room and dining area were very clean and nice. The bed was comfortable, but the sleeper sofa absolutely was not. The staff was very nice, friendly, and very on top of issues and keeping the breakfast area well stocked. I also loved seeing the environmentally-friendly shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower, rather than those little bottles!

The hotel itself is a nice relaxing stay, the staff are so accommodating and the beds are super comfortable. Would stay again! The only thing I didn't like was the heavy pocket door for the bathroom.

Great affordable extended stay hotel.

The bed sleeps well. Room was nice and spacious. Large shower was a good surprise. Breakfast was different from other Hilton properties but okay.

The location is great. Restaurants all around. The hotel was a renovated version of an older hotel with minor construction (painting) during the stay. Overall a fine hotel.

Everyone was super nice! Loved the kitchen in our room and when the bed was pulled in there was a good deal of floor space. Breakfast was good every am too!

One of my favorite places I've stayed and largely due to the design of the rooms and building. Cheap laundry machines! Friendly staff and good breakfast, better than any Hampton.

Home 2 is a cheaper version of Homewood Suites! Occasionally, I'll stay there if a Homewood Suites is not available! The employees are great & will help you get whatever you want! The patrons are friendly! Last stay, a retired sheriff asked me if I'd join him to eat the large pizza that he ordered, which led to an hour-long-plus conversation on some of his more interesting assignments!

Hotel is nice enough, little to no parking, and staff are making insane amounts of noise at 0530. Checked in late, so thanks to my non-requested wake up call of trash can caster wheels banging down the hallway, I got little sleep. Would not recommend.

The bed was Uber comfortable, room was very nice. Staff was amazing and being a health inspector I was impressed at the care they took in presenting their breakfast. Can’t wait to return.

Very clean facility. For my week stay I had a kitchen suite. Microwave, dishwasher, and be refrigerated were very clean and almost new condition and worked well. Laundry is only $0.50 to was and dry. Breakfast is your no more than your standard hotel breakfast.

Prior to staying at home 2 suite I stayed at the court yard Marriott couple miles away an I can say it wasn’t enjoyable. The staff at home 2 suite are very accommodating and friendly. Very clean, comfortable, smart suites. The included breakfast was pretty good — decent coffee, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, pastries, pre packaged microwavable breakfasts, and you can make your own waffles. Washer and dryer are available for use right next to the gym. The patio outside has a nice backyard feel with a fire feature. The room was spacious, well equiped, and nicely decorated. In the room there was a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher along with dishes, glasses, and silverware.

First time staying at a home2 hotel. Would definitely stay again. Beautiful hotel and very clean. Staff was willing to accomodate when we asked for more pillows. Highly recommend.

Great location. Stayed on points so can’t testify to cost but it was very comfortable, clean and hospitable. Would stay here again!

Nice, newer hotel. Friendly staff, nice rooms. Showers are stand up style which may not fit everyone's preference. Parking is a pain at times because the hotel shares its lot with the Hilton next door and there are only a few spots adjacent to this hotel. Breakfast offerings were a little less than standard nowadays and there is just one long hightop table to eat at. Overall it's a nice place to stay.

It would be helpful if they would actually answer the phone. When you call the number listed, you get a message that you are being transferred to the operator. Once there, you get a prompt to enter your mailbox number. When you don't, they hang up.

Only first day out of 30 days. Nice so far, glad to see fridge big enough to keep real food in. Disappointed that toilet was not as clean as I expected it to be. Plenty of room but shower is a little small. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful. They have 2 washing machines but during my 2 week stay 1 of them had an out of order sign for preventative maintenance on it.

Room clean. Staff awesome! Bed not quite a queen as advertised. Not sure what that is all about. Call it a Full size bed or replace it to advertised Queen size. Exercise room and laundry nice. Equipment new and works well. Parking is very bad. Not enough spaces, even if only one vehicle per room. No hot plate due to Fire department rules. Electric skillet and Crock pot works for cooking. Love larger frig with great freezer.

The staff were really good, friendly and helpful. They treated each other well and genuinely seemed glad to be helping guests, which is rare. The breakfast was great, love the environmental tone of the hotel and the beds — even the pullout sofa — was comfortable. Really impressed for the price, would go with this chain again.

The hotel and its accommodations are nice and the decor is pleasant. The available parking fills up fast so you may have to park at the adjacent Hotel. Each room is spacious with a queen bed a sleeper sofa and a fully functional kitchen Sans a stove/oven. The water was nice and hot and the water pressure was good. They do have free breakfast which includes the standard Bagels, cereal, microwavable breakfast bowls, yogurt, juice, and a waffle maker, but don't count on it being restocked. I found them out of yogurts two mornings in a row completely out of milk and when I settled for a waffle there was no syrup left. The staff did go across the lot to the sister Hotel and get more syrup though. There's a small seating area next to the pool but at night there were an alarming number of large roaches running all over that patio. Though I saw no evidence of bugs inside the hotel or in the room. There's a small pool, and it's clean. There is no hot-tub or spa. It doesn't have a restaurant, only a little convenience 'store' with beverages and snacks open 24 hours.

With the friendliest staff and the cleanest of rooms, you'll wanna stay here every time you're in Oxford.

Amazing staff, very clean place, saltwater pool, gas grills to use, centrally located, easy access to highway. I love this place.

Cleaning staff was awesome, The reason I gave one star is for two very important reasons, the name says it, its like Home2, but not a full kitchen as in other Home2's I've stayed in. No hot plate. So just microwave fridge. The funny thing is, they have spatulas and mixing bowls and strainers, hell, they even have a chopping block with a long array of knives. So when u prep tonight's meal, make sure you can nuke it all to perfection. Lol. The second thing is the parking. Wow. All I got on that one. Dang it. The Bed. They said it was a Queen, seemed more like a extra medium full size, not sure what I said there but hell, not sure what to call this thing, I just know it was small. Best comparison I would say "Motel 6" are less in quality. I'm 6'5.280. Needless to say, glad I was alone. Two sub standard small pillows. And sit on that couch if u want to, it better be to just put you're shoes on, hard as heck. Oh well. Still in all, prob the best in Oxford. Good luck.

We hated to come home! We enjoyed our "hurrication" away from Matthew so much with a special thanks to Lance! We were so thankful to stay in such a nice, clean, and super pet friendly hotel! My only complaint is that Alonzo actually called my boyfriend one afternoon and accused us of our dog barking and causing complaints — we weren't even in the room and I had taken off that morning with her! Other than that everyone else and everything was great and delivered far beyond expectation. We will definitely be coming back! ☺️

The rooms and pools are amazing. It's centrally located, has helpful staff, and nice amenities. Parking is very limited and the only true negative about the Home2.

We enjoyed our stay because of the cleanliness and style of Homes 2Suites. They were very eco friendly and beautiful. The beds were so comfortable.

I've been staying at this hotel since Feb 7th. It's like a home away from home. The house keeping is top notch and the staff are simply the best. They go out of their way everyday to ensure all my needs are met during this stay.

We've stayed here often, and look forward to every trip. Nice, new facility. Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty Japanese restaurant across the street. Close to Anniston, AL. Not too far from Birmingham either.

Clean, comfortable, and affordable. Parking lot could have been bigger.

Absolutely horrendous experience. The receptionist (Netherland) was threatening and insulting. I have been a Hilton Diamond member for 5 years, and I have never imagined being treated so poorly. There are several other hotels in area with much better customer service.

A quick overnight stay with 2 rooms. The staff was awesome, suite-style rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was great. Easy on/off the interstate too.

PROS: (1) Clean (2) New (3) Friendly staff (4) Proximity to the Hilton Garden Suites restaurant (5) Nice pool area CONS: (1) Thin floors/ Can hear everything from floor above. (2) Mattress uncomfortable. Can feel the springs after 10 minutes. (3) TV signal frequently lags/skips or loses signal altogether for long periods of time. (4) Staff/operations not very competent. Front desk told me the hotel does not offer room service when I requested an item, until I reminded them that their website says they do have room service. Another fiasco was getting a package delivered to me. (5) Parking spaces are scarce. Never enough parking spaces to accommodate occupany of building.

The suite was spacious with a full kitchen. The parking was weird and there wasn't much of it. Also we had ants in our room in the kitchen area. The room was clean and very nice otherwise though. Had there been no ants, I'd give it 5 stars.

We stay in the area frequently as a mid-way stop on our way home from Florida. We usually stop at another hotel due to the prices, however we decided to try the Home2 Suites by Hilton because the price was great and we love Hilton. The positives were that the staff was inviting and friendly, the room was large, the sheets were soft and clean, and there was clean, accessible dishware and a dishwasher. As a Hilton Honors member, we also got little perks which made us feel really special. The negatives were that there were ants crawling all over the kitchen counter, and it wasn't a few ants either. There were also dead ants in the freezer along with a stale, rotten stench in the fridge/freezer but the fridge and freezer were clean. However, the fridge and freezer never got too cold throughout the night to keep our travel drinks cold. The parking was also an issue. There really wasn't a log of explanation about where to park and there wasn't a lot of parking up front. I guess the Hilton Garden Inn parking lot it suppose to be shared. The continental breakfast was nice however, it didn't have what you were typically find at other hotels. But a plus is, there are a lot of healthy options! Overall, it was a good experience but I was a little disappointed in the ant issue, especially for what you pay for and what you expect from a Hilton. We would stay again for an extended stay, but I would hope to not run into these same issues.

I love love Home2 suites and my1st choice to stay. However my last stay in Oxford Alabama was not up to the standards of other Home2 suites or Homewood suites. Service was poor and my room had stains on carpet and a overwhelming smell of disinfectant which I imagine was used to try to overpower the pee smell on the floor. I called the front desk and was told they would give me another room but too busy to bring me a key. I moved myself however same smell. They charge a $75.00 per pet fee so there is not a reason for anyone to get a room with pee on carpet. I have not been able to find a number to contact management.

This is the SECOND sorriest place I've ever stayed in with the Hilton name on it. Hilton miss the boat when creating this line of hotels. Its cheaply built and furnished; only queen size beds that feels like you're laying on rocks. Defiantly made for one night and move on. I gave it one star because most of the staff was friendly. When we checked in deskclerk had SCREAMING child she was taking care of while checking people in. There is lots of other choices in this area to stay. Will not be back here.

Everything about this hotel was great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the floors seem very thin. I could hear every step above me and felt like those below me could hear mine.

Front desk told me the hotel does not offer room service when I requested an item, until I reminded them that their website says otherwise then they promptly brought the item up. I was also awaiting a UPS shipment of a replacement credit card. Staff insisted that I need not ask them daily if it arrived, that they would alert me when it arrived. Days went by and I came to find out they had my package and they never attempted inform me. Finally, (5) Parking is limited and poorly planned. Only 5 designated spots near the entrance. The other 10-15 designated spots are on the backside. Often times must park at nearby establishment and walk over.
