This location actually deserves ZERO STARS, but since I had to select I’ll choose ONE! Very rude! Upon my family and I arrival, the front desk clerk stated we had no booked rooms and sent us to another location! I proceeded to pull up my email confirmation, and indeed we did have 3 rooms booked! We called the clerk and she had given one of our rooms away to a group of people in front of us! She even proceeded to tell us that we didn’t have to stay there and she would give all of our rooms away. This is not a way to conduct business, especially for people who are traveling from out of town! Thankfully we found another hotel that had availability! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I travel a lot. This is my first stay at a Choice Hotel chain and have mixed reviews. Hotel was clean, room was more modern and staff friendly. I came during kids baseball season, so lots of families with pre-teens. The noise between the rooms (not hallway) is vastly louder than other hotels I have visited. Needing to increase volume of TV to offset kids. But not many chain hotels are configured to offset kids joy and laughter. Breakfast is free. Can't judge it due to lack of ability to truly sample with the ball teams in house. My stay was nominal, without needing much interaction from staff but when I did, they were very professional and friendly. My bed rivalled other chains for my comfort. Plenty of pillows in varying support levels so finding the correct one for my body/sleep pattern wasn't difficult. Close to train tracks but not a show stopper. I travel for business and would gladly stay here again, either before or after sports leagues are complete.

Was a nice uneventful stay. Never did get any breakfast. It was always gone by 9

Great beds and bathrooms. AC is the kind that cuts on and off all night which sucks. Other than that, great stay.

The first room we were placed in smelled like mold, so we requested a new room. The second room appeared to be better. After being in the room for while, we noticed the toilet had hair, urine and bugs behind the lid!

Small it very warm pool. They have super good breakfast too.

I was totally amazed at every aspect of this hotel. Starting with the front desk lady, Mary. She was absolutely fabulous with getting me to my room in a professional and courteous manner. Great lady! My room was just like home, very clean and the bathroom was more or less overstocked with towels and hygiene items. I liked it so much I put off leaving to stay another night. GREAT service Mary! Thank you.

This hotel was cool. I like how the rooms were clean, spacious and has good breakfast to eat. My friend and I were visiting from Austin, TX to go sleep on the way to Panama City Beach, FL for our week-long vacation. We’ve arrived here at this hotel at night time. The location was pretty cool with some casinos around and a nice bay area too. We were here in Gulfport, MS on August 2017. It rained when we were living, but didn’t stay for long. Gulfport was ok, but the hotel itself was cool. I liked it and I hope to stay here again if I were to drive to sleep along the way to go to like Florida or whatever state on the east side of the USA.

Breakfast definitely could have been better! The whirlpool tub was luxurious after walking around New Orleans all day! Clean, Comfortavle Bed!

The room was clean the front desk clerk was polite. The parking lot was VERY lite up. Really good experience.

The staff was really friendly. That place was super busy people coming & going like crazy in the lobby. Rooms were well kept but there was a linger of pee on the carpet floor. Pool area was well kept too. Breakfast was well stocked when it was packed with guests.

I gave the hotel 2 stars because the staff was super nice. However, the hotel is quite run down. The beds are uncomfortable. The breakfast was bad… dry eggs, partially cooked sausage, old pastries. Rough-ish neighborhood. And I could overlook all of that for a few hours in the heated pool, which was advertised. But the pool was FREEZING cold… so, we definitely won't be staying here again!

We were traveling and it was perfect place. The night crew was wonderful and room was great and the bed was awesome. Breakfast was very good also.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. Food seemed to be not fresh and pastries tasted like they were old. Room was very nice and comfortable.

The room was very nice at first glance, and checkin was great. Unfortunately after checking in we had to leave the hotel so I never got a chance to check the room until we returned that evening at approx. 9:30pm. Upon entering the room I noticed the AC was very noisy. I used to work in a hotel, so I know that these types of units make noise, so that's expected. What I didn't expect was the AC sounded like a diesel engine. When it would jump on, the noise was jarring. I went down to the FD and was asked what room I was in and was told someone from maintenance would be up to check the AC. I went back up to the room and then realized my TV wouldn't change channels. I went back down, and was told there is a sensor on the TV that must have fallen behind. I went back upstairs and found the censor was broken apart behind the TV. I pieced it back together enough to be able to change channels for the night. During this time, I waited an hour for maintenance, and no one came. I went back down to check on it and saw a sign saying the FD employee was helping another guest away from the desk, which I completely understand. I waited another hour and still no one showed up. I drove to Walmart at 11:30pm and bought some earplugs to be able to get any sleep. Upon waking up, I went to sit in the desk chair and I saw the leather on it completely ripped apart. Not even a small rip, but completely ripped across the entire bottom of the chair. This was a $100 a night room… this isn't ok.

Great place! Had my daughter's party there. Staff was very helpful amd even sung happy birthday to my baby. Place was clean and looked nice. Will be going back. Look foward to doing business with them again.

I would live there if I could. The rooms are immaculate, the staff are very helpful. The beds are to die for, they're so comfortable. I love the indoor heated pool, it's warm completely not just in areas like some other places. I really enjoy the jacuzzi, I stay in until I'm wrinkled lol. Comfort Suites is truly my favorite place to go.

Great Wi-Fi. Cable sucks only one channel Spike TV. Clean. Comfy. Good breakfast. Loved the omelette. Served it's purpose as stay over for fast access to Ship Island next day. Eat at Hooters best service in town.

Since we went in we had a great experience. Krystal was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean. The beds were a dream. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here 2 nights. Upon arriving, room was extremely hot! Thought it may have been because it was closed up all day. Temp on wall thermometer read 88. Unpacked, showered and adjusted ac to 66 so that the room would be cool when I returned. Left for 3.5 — 4 hours. Returned and the room was hotter than when I left it. Called front desk, management came up, she called Mr. Gary to come and see about it. Took 30-45 minutes after he "fixed" it for room to cool. Saturday, woke up to a warm room. Didn't worry about it too much because I was leaving for a few hours. Left at 9:30, adjusted temp to 66 AGAIN, left. Returned at 4:00. HOT HOT HOT! Called management again. Mr. Gary returned to "fix" a. C. Took 20 minutes for room to cool. He "tinkered" with unit but didn't replace thermostat (but had one with him). Showered. Ordered dinner, retired for the night around 11:00. Woke up at 6:05 to a HOT room. At this point, I was disgusted. I showered, packed and left way before check-out. Turned in my room keys and let the attendant at front desk know that a. C. Went out AGAIN and to inform management. He was talking with another gentleman at the counter (but not a guest). He barely paid any attention to me. ) Not the best stay… very inconvenient. Not at all what I expect from "Patel. " A refund for my stay would be appropraite.

Enjoyed staying here. The hotel was very clean and new. We stayed here two nights and it was definitely worth the money. You will not find a better hotel at this price. It is the best bargain for your money. The hot breakfast was good. The room was very clean. The pool was crisp and clean. I'm picky when it comes to a hotel now; I prefer to stay at a newer hotel or a well maintained hotel. This fits the bill.

Awesome Hotel very clean great breakfast beautiful customer service.

My car was broken into and over $5000 of items were stolen. While speaking with the police, I learned that this is a very high crime area. The hotel refused to allow me to watch the surveillance video of the break-in and refused to compensate me for the loss even though it occurred in the front parking lot. The general manager even refused to provide me with the name of the owner of the hotel franchise. The hotel has a security guard bit he was not working that night. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Everything was great. Low pressure in shower but everything else was great!

Have stayed at this place several times, and have always had great experiences. Rooms are always clean, and the staff is friendly. Whenever in the area, this is my choice in Hotel.

I attended a family reunion during July 29-31, 2016 at your Gulfport MS Comfort Suites on Hwy 49. The General Manager was Amanda Medley. I brought an issue about the pull out sleepers in the room. I explained how uncomfortable it was and asked if they had any paddling to use. Ms. Medley stated she had told the family reunion representative that the sleepers were uncomfortable. I explained no one mentioned that to me. She proceeds to state, if I was not satisfied with the room. I could check out. I was really taken back about the response. I also stated that the pool was not clean, because you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. The water was really cloudy and the pool water didn’t look safe to swim in. Ms. Medley customer service was below average for a General Manager. If she has that type of attitude what do you think the people who work for her attitudes are? Customer Service starts at the top — down. My opinion, her attitude was totally unacceptable. If she is the best you have for General Manager, I will take my business somewhere else.

The accessible room is a great value for size of room and features. Nice large breakfast room and couch/TV sitting area. Pool is currently a weird green cloudy color, girls were not even tempted to try it. Very nice and helpful housekeeping staff, thank you Rhonda & Stephanie!

Very nice motel for the money. Well pleased and recommended.

Upon arriving, the front desk clerk never greeted us and had us standing there 10 mins while she engaged in a conversation on the phone. When we finally got our room the linen was dingy and the floors were stained and chips were left on the floor from lack of vacuuming. The next day returned to our room around 3pm and housekeeping hadn't cleaned our room yet. Due to us being tired we told her don't worry about it just give us fresh towels, not surprised that she didn't show back up with our towels. My husband had to haul our dirty linen downstairs before we could get new ones. On top of this terrible stay, our car along with three other cars where broken into and no one cared but the police. I would never stay at any choice hotel again.

Friendly staff, however, their "king suite" was nothing like a suite. Literally walked in, looked at the room and left. Stains on the pillows, only lamp lighting — nothing over the kitchen area or whirlpool tub, making both dark where you could barely see. The air conditioning panel did not work. The bathroom light had a buzzing sound when on and a squeaky floor… more like a motel than hotel.

Standard fair for Choice. Pleasant service associates, clean bath, quiet. Room may not have been vacuumed previously and defunct room key had to be exchanged.

Wonderful hotel! still just a short drive from 1-10, far enough not to hear the planes fly over. Super clean, very comfortable, wonderful staff, roomy, good shower, everything is great not one complaint. Stay here you won't regret it!

My only main complaint is the walls were very thin, I was able to hear the people in next room talk even with my TV on high volume. Walls so thin I could clearly hear every word said, felt like I had no privacy. Besides that, staff was very friendly and helpful, room was very clean and large size, no crazy vending machine prices thankfully, very good prices. The neighborhood is sketchy, even prostitutes out in day time, not exactly what you want to see when with your child. Either way, still felt safe and would stay there again. Pool is small but nice, breakfast was good. If they had thicker walls I'd give 5 stars.
