Wonderful place to stay! Owen, the first desk clerk is wonderful! Full of energy and has a great welcoming spirit! We chose to stay here on a whim and we are so glad we did! Way to go DT!

Clean rooms and comfy beds, Cheyenne at the front desk was very warm and friendly.

The staff here is awesome! They were all so kind and were very helpful whenever we needed anything. I highly recommend this hotel.

Paid the additional rate to have breakfast included with our room. I’m now being told that its an additional charge, even though I pulled up the website to show them the room rate and breakfast option. We travel through Hattiesburg often and will no longer stay in this hotel. With children, having breakfast included with our hotel stay makes it just a little easier.

After fire alarm being pull at 10:15 pm. By some kid and everyone being out in the parking lot for an hour with employees running around not giving information then the all clear and we can go back to our rooms there was so much noise in the room above us that I called the front desk and complained. Sounded like someone fighting and beating on the doors… not happy or relaxing. We were comped breakfast and it was terrible. Also the water pressure was terrible on the 4th floor. Also found rat poop in the room.

My truck was broken into and there are no cameras in the parking lot. Also, I found out that, a week prior, a truck was stolen from the parking lot. Get some cameras Doubletree Inn.

It has great new rooms. A very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is out of this world.

We liked to have never found this place because it is Doubletree by Hilton now. It doesn’t look like the picture. None of the Hilton Honors are “honored” yet but the IHG are. Our room smelled like smoke and lots of things not finished from the renovation. The drain didn’t work and there was a hole in the shower wall. Very large hotel (looks like they put two together) and was hard to find places. They ran out of coffee at 8:30 am as well as breakfast items. Pretty clean but the whole thing was odd.

Rooms were nice. Internet was very slow. The pastries I. Downstairs market had flies all over them. No one tried to through them out either. The breakfast was good, not great, but good. Staff was a little on the douchey side. I had checked it already by same person. Came right back to ask for internet password and had to show id again. I was like seriously. Maybe they had issues with me being black; but I definitely didn’t feel very comfortable.

The employees are awesome, so friendly and helpful. Nice big rooms with small kitchenette. Great free breakfast buffet for every member of your party. The only problem is they are changing from Holiday Inn to Doubletree by Hilton, so they are still doing alot of construct.

The place is being renovated and remodeled to become a Doubletree. The staff was very helpful. The coffee station in the lobby was nice, however the trash can needed to be in a more accessible location. Other than the smell of paint fumes in the lobby everything was very nice.

Recently been renovated and updated. In door and outdoor swiming pool, and basket ball court. Rooms are nice, but could of found a better carpenter. We had to work the bathroom door to get it to shut properly, nd just minor details the contractor could of done better. Overall a good experience.

Rooms were extremely nice. I like my room dark when I sleep. The curtains closed tightly so there were no lights shining in. Staff were very nice and met our needs. Would highly recommend stating here! Will stay agsin!

I wish I could give negative stars. For the hurricane in late 2017, I made reservations well ahead of time to anticipate the surge of people that would need reservations. These reservations were for my crew and I… 4 rooms. We are working out of state and made plans based on the confirmation of these rooms. Despite having my confirmations numbers and everything else, they only booked 1 room under my name. Cost us a lot of time and money because of the front desk clerk's incompetence. The entire reason I called a week before the hurricane was even a hurricane was to avoid this. Never again.

Rooms were clean and recently renovated. Lobby in final stages of renovation. Front desk staff friendly and extremely helpful. Read reviews about highway noise at night, but never heard anything. Suited for an overnight.

Driving through, we stopped here for the night. When checking in, I asked about military discount, they changed the rate from $109 to $93… or so they told me. Was running late at check out, and didn't notice they didn't give the discount. The room would of been nice if the toilet didn't constantly run, bathroom door didn't even latch shut, and have a bright spot light shining right at the window.

Interstate noise is bad for sure on the 5th floor. Very loud. Roaring cars and trucks all night long. Room was updated and nice. Dresser missing large handle but the rest of the room was nice. Seemed newly updated. So not sure why the dresser was missing a handle. Beds are very comfy but with the interstate noise you probably wont get to sleep all that much. Just bring some ear plugs or a sound soother. I have never stayed in a hotel with so much traffic noise.

Very pleasant staff and atmosphere. Very pleased with my king sized bed. Would also recommend the breakfast. Even though renovations are being made, I know I will be back in the future. Thank you so much for yourhard work to make this hotel a 8 star rating to me and my family.

I was just visiting a guest for a business meeting but once the meeting was over my car battery was dead from lights left on. The man at the desk took time and searched out a set of jumper cables. This was above and beyond his job duty. Thanks! Oh yeah, I snuck a piece of their breakfast bacon, superb.

Staff exceptionally courteous, beds and bed linens were awful, rooms were clean.

We enjoyed our stay, but the hotel is under construction. We couldn't use the gym. It would have been nice to know before booking. Though overall, it was a good experience and the staff was great!

No hot water in the showers on the third floor. Staff was aware of the issue before we checked in and still put us on the third floor. I ended up having to use a co-workers shower on the fith floor. Apparently all the shower cartridges on the third floor are starting to fail and replacements have not arrived yet. Staff was unwilling to move us to another floor. It's really my fault because I have had issues with this hotel in the past. I was hoping with all the money they have been dumping into this place they would have the basic necessities figured out by now. I will be going back to the Hampton for my future trips to Camp Shelby.

Recently remodeled. Very nice place. Still smells like fresh paint. Love it. Excellent bartenders and restaurant.

Great and friendly staff. The rooms are so elegant, spacious and so relaxing and gave me the feel of paradise. Will definitely return again.

The bartender Nick is the best part of this hotel. He's great fun and makes some damn good drinks.

Such a nice place. Everyone is super helpful and amazingly kind (though that just seems to be the way of Hattiesburg). The hotel is currently under some construction. They are updating the rooms. We stayed in an updated room. They are very nice and big. Comfy beds, big bathrooms, nice shower with good pressure. It's nice and quiet even though there's construction.

Hotel was amazing. Very nice spacious rooms. Everyone there is extremely nice and helpful. I would gladly. Stay again.

Hotel is very close to where I59 and Hwy 49 intersect. Rooms in the newer wing are larger and nugget, but even the old rooms have been updated nicely. Sound proofing could be better (noisy neighbors). Very friendly staff and they were all wearing Southern Miss gear the weekend of the Homecoming game.

Truly one of the best Holiday Inn's I have stayed in. The foyer is beautiful! The staff were so nice: Lillian, M. J. Housekeeping and maintenance crew and more. The rooms were very nice. Keep in mind, they are renovating to upgrade their rooms even more. The price is reasonable too. Highly recommend this hotel to all going to Hattiesburg for any occasion… 8 stars!

The room accommodation and Facilities were great, especially for the price. The breakfast was adequate but not overwhelming. Front staff was courteous and helpful, although I wish they exhibited greater concern for my security.

I would stay here again if visiting or working in the area. The suites are well laid out, finely decorated, and spacious. The bathroom is a bit smaller than I am accustomed to in a Holiday Inn. The service is top notch. The amenities are well thought from the pool to the outdoor entertainment areas (including a fenced in basketball court. The hall noise was a bit more audible than expected and the hotel reatraunt lacked the atmosphere of others I have experienced at Holiday Inn across the country.

Staff was very professional and accommodating, especially, Jessica and Lonny. I was fortunate to be in one of the newly renovated rooms. I will be returning on my next trip to Hattiesburg. Thanks for a pleasant stay! :-)

The rooms in the hotel are very nice and modern looking. My largest complaint is the lack of necessary towels. It would be nice to have four to a room. The lobby is gorgeous and the halls are very nice. However, the breakfast is only alright and the pool is not very amazing.

Stayed here last year… Disappointing… Got checked in and took forever, guy on personal phone didnt have time for customers I guess. It stunk on the 3rd floor like a fumigation was in process (Bed bugs? ) Most likely. My coworkers bedroom door was open when we got back from work almost every night. Asked the receptionist to please close it, but they failed. They dont wash underwear/ socks… Lasted about 4 days and we checked into the Residence inn over by Mugshots. This hotel needs improvement bad!

Room and lobby very nice. Slight issues with things like faucet knob leaking around handle when using hot water, 1 jet in tub broken, and bag of trash was left in cabinet under the sink from the last guest. But an overall very nice stay. Pool nice, room pretty clean, and staff very nice.

It's ok. It's getting dated and things are broken in the bathroom, like the shower door and tile falling apart. It's a nice room but I do not like that I had to pay extra for breakfast and it wasn't very good. The French Toast was cold. The only thing good was the waffle. I will try another hotel next time.

Pee stain on pull out couch mattress. Cabinet bottom in kitchen molded and nasty. Phones didnt work in the room. Tried multiple times to get help in my room and it didn't work. Had to go downstairs several times requesting a roll away bed. Then multiple times had to go downstairs to get them to give me linens for couch bed and roll away bed. Ugh!

Don't expect much from this hotel. I stayed here for several days. I found a toothbrush in my bathroom, the water was yellow, and housekeeping left the same sheets on for several days. We paid 10 dollars a day for a breakfast of cold eggs and burnt bacon. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Beautiful hotel. 99% clean to my standards. Horrible restaurant. We paid for breakfast vouchers and were informed it was open until 11 on the weekends. We came down at 10 and the chef takes our vouchers and then tells us they are closing up early and we can pick at whatever is left. When we mention a refund, he looks at the bar and says there's enough for us left. While attempting to scratch up some of the food that was "left over", the staff was standing all though the small area. The rest of breakfast we spent listening to the kitchen staff stand in the buffet area and complain about how bad their job is, talking loudly across the small area. The front desk was super nice about it and took care of us, but there was no manager on duty at the time. Both pools were nice. Indoors was a little warm and dirty, outdoor was perfect. No towels in either area though.
