Ppl r so rude no clean bed no towels clean do u own room.

Didn’t have enough towels, and when we asked for more they were all being washed and no ice machine. The room was very nice, bed and pillows were perfect. Very clean. Oh and the towel rack came off the wall, lol.

Friendly service everytime we stay!

Free laundry, comfy pillows, but the internet was down this week and the front desk specifically did not mention that at all, so that was a immediate loss of trust. Do not recommend, especially for corporate travelers who rely on the internet to do paperwork or critical training.

We would have to say this hotel is the best! From the general manager, all front desk personnel, to housekeeping, and even the maintenance man are super friendly (not that fake friendly). The staff makes you feel like you’re their guest and not a customer. They really try to meet your needs. A big thanks to the general manager who gave our kids more space to live, my daughters took her first steps here and is now walking around here. We are so grateful to the staff and having a clean place for our kids to play. Since we are here for a while due to work we could be happier to stay here.

People are nice clean rooms can cook your own meals.

Property was still undergoing renovations Halls were hot. But room was nice. Front desk is the down fall. Very very slow and seemed to not know how to do things to get guest checked in and out.

Maybe it’s a yes and no. The renovations are great. However the internet is horrible. When I complained at the front desk, the clerk said “oh I believe the maintenance man is checking it now”. Really? 8 hours later and it still sucks. Construction workers sitting under the pavilion getting plastered and very loud with their comments. I’ll be checking out early tomorrow and won’t stay here again. IHG dropped the ball with this stay!

I met Mrs. Rosalyn the sales manager in Hattiesburg as I went to put in a bid and she treated me with awesome respect and she is a true sweetheart.

Got to stay in one of the newly renovated suites phenomenal stay bed was a comfortable memory foam.

The hotel is located right off the interstate. The rooms are nice and clean. My room was a king suite with a kitchenette and living room. Feels like a home away from home. I travel full time for wotk so I stay in alot of hotels and this is one of the nicest so far.

This hotel was awful. It was under renovation, plastic on the floors, blankets up in the elevator-hot as heck. There was hair in the sink & tub. The recliner didn’t work, the pull out sofa had no bedding to put on it, the phone didn’t work, the ice maker made maybe 5 cubes all night… I could go on & on. Plenty of other choices near by-I’d skip this one!

Hotel was under remodel. Suite we got was a recently remodeled one. Suite was spacious. I was surprised to see a full size refrigerator, OTR microwave and dishwasher. The king size bed was sufficiently firm and the down filled pillows were a pleasant surprise. Parking was minimal. Only 4 stars because of the non-refundable pet deposit.

The room had just been remodeled and was great. Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean! The front desk people were very nice and accommodating.

Sub par. Never again. Most of the guest are long term guest (they've been there long enough to decorate). The first room I was assigned smelled like a cigarette, and the 2nd room smelled like old sweaty shoes. Carpet was ripped, chair & carpet was from the 1980s (worn that way too). Ice machine in room didn't work well & there was not a community ice machine. I won't be going back.

Wonderful customer service and friendly staff. The suite was close to like being at home. I had to get a room there after having an accident during the snow storm in mid December 2017. Thank God, I had no injuries after a total loss on vehicle.

Had accessories that were really nice, but for my mother, the hair dryer did not work. They did take some $ off the cost though. Overall, I would stay here again.

I must say this experience exceeded my expectations which weren’t high. The front desk was friendly and helpful. I requested another room to have my quietness and I received a free upgrade. The hotel is in great conditions, the rooms were clean, and the staff goes above to provide a great experience. There was a lot of construction people in the hotel sonI dunno what that was about. The floor had plastic on it and the elevator was covered?

I've been here for a week and just now got moved to a room with hot water. The grills are disgusting and are usually without propane. If I had a choice I'd stay with my Ex-wife before I stay at this location again.

The hotel was easy to find last rooms well Organisadas I the service excellent.

Had a good experience. Stay was good. Ambience was quiet and peaceful. They don't have breakfast but they have a selection of items that you can buy. The full kitchen in each room is a great addition.

Large room, decently clean. Known Wi-Fi issues yet they don't have more routers or signal boosters, and don't have ethernet cables like they claim. A terrible place for anyone relying on Internet access. Off putting smells throughout the building. Very funky smell behind refrigerator. Nearly empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls not replaced prior to checking in. Elevator inspection out of date.

Functional and decently priced. We had a number of small complaints, from the internet being really slow to a strange smell in the rooms and some noisy neighbors. Our suite was spacious though and the kitchen was decently equipped, and we didn't have any problems with the cleanliness or the customer service.

Staff and manager were amazing! They were full to capacity with hurricane evacuees, but they remained professional, patient and helpful.

The place is very nice. My only gripe as to why not having the 5 stars was that we were not able to connect to the Wi-Fi at all. Also got woken up at 6am with a fire alarm.

We stayed here for the football game and compared to any other Candlewood Suite this one was like garbage. We pulled up after the game the parking lot was full of thugs, we stayed on the 4th floor someone was smoking marijuana, sheets had make-up stains on them, loud music and noise from next door, then to top it off when I checked out this morning I was double charged then the front desk personnel caught and attitude about it. Definitely will not recommend staying here.

Professional service received by both Karen and Sophia. Our group arrived as guest but checked out as family. Everyone was so friendly and willing to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely place candlewood on our agenda next year.

Great place! Very relaxed environment. Gave them four stars based on the price difference from their website and what I actually paid. Advertised at almost $20 less than what I paid. The young lady at the front desk was a pleasure to work with. Rooms were wonderfully clean and set up well, especially for extended stays. The shower was great, the towels and bedding were so so soft.

Our car broke down for the 2nd time in Hattiesburg. This time we had to get a hotel room. We decided to stay here and it is by far one of the best hotels around. GREAT customer service, CLEAN AWESOME rooms, comfortable beds, place was CLEAN and spotless. We will always if possible stay at a Candlewood wherever we go from now on! Great job!

Our home burned down and the insurance company put us here. We have been here for 10 days already. They are friendly clean and I would recommend to all. Just wish they had a pool.

The people who all work here are very nice my reason for being here is mine and my families house burned down and they have made us feel welcomed and they are also pet friendly.

I had booked my stay months in advance but could not be given the curtisy of a call to let me know they apparently over booked. The receptionist was really nice bit who ever runs the place could have let me know in advance and I could have found something else. Instead I was offered a different room at barely a discount or the option to just go somewhere else. I chose to stay. The place has an odd smell to it and their high speed Wi-Fi could barely be considered an internet connection at all.

The room may be fine but I reserved a 2 beds nonsmoking room and was given a 1 bed smoking room. "I am sorry" was all I was given for the inconvenience. Even with most of a can of Lysol the smell us still terrible.

We are currently staying at Candlewood Suites for a long duration stay and I can't say enough good things about this place. My room is very clean (and I'm a bit of a neat freak) and in far better shape them some far more expensive places that I have stayed. The staff is all super friendly and Bob the manager is very helpful, personable and easy to work with. The hotel is right off the highway so access to pretty much anything is just a few minutes away and despite its proximity to the highway the noise is not bad at all, I have a room facing the highway and as I'm writing this a truck just drove up the on ramp and wasn't loud enough that it would interrupt my sleeping or anything else. There is a pool, shared with the Holiday Inn next store, as well as free laundry, grills outside, a decent little fitness center and a small shop where you can get things that are normally in a vending machine plus much more. If you need a place to stay for any reason not just a long term stay I would highly recommend the Candlewood Suites Hattiesburg, I am extremely satisfied so far.

Apparently the older reviews indicate this property used to have problems. I agree with the newer reviews that it has apparently made a turnaround, because on my recent business stay of a couple of nights, everything went swimmingly. The "suites" (basically extended hotel rooms with full kitchenettes) were comfortable, clean, well-maintained, plumbing/electrical/TV in good working order. TV selections included major networks and a few cable channels and not much else, but the selection was adequate for someone who doesn't demand all of the menu-driven pay-per-view stuff that some hotels have. High-speed internet connection was free, which was VERY much appreciated, particularly since other stays at allegedly "more upscale" hotels in Biloxi and New Orleans charged 11-12 bucks a day for it. Good location for this hotel too means it's very convenient to virtually everything (including the USM campus) in the Hattiesburg area. Staff were very helpful and professional; pleasantly surprised to get a free soda from their "canteen" upon check-in too! I recommend this hotel in the Laurel/Hattiesburg area; for the money, it is a very good value and will provide a highly comfortable if not lavish stay.
