Terrible housekeeping service, management and corporate don’t seem interested in making any meaningful amends for the shortcomings either. Everything that was done to attempt to rectify the situation was nothing more than empty gestures, after the fact attempts, all covered in polite words. Because of this location I’ll not be staying at Hyatt again.

We were in town for a funeral and stayed here one night. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very professional and super nice. If and when we are in Columbus again, I don't have to worry about choosing accommodations. This is the place!

The rooms in the hotel have flooded continuously and no mold remediation has been done. They cover it up with new paint. I would not recommend sleeping in these rooms until the hotel has been
remodeled. I witnessed this first hand. The general manager is absolutely horrible to her employees, guests, and the local community who try to network with her.

Would and WILL stay again. Service was over and above. Angel is AMAZING. The staff is wonderful. Room was huge. Enough room for FIVE ladies and all their STUFF.

The hotel was great. Some trouble with check in but otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful Place staff nice and very professional.

The hotel staff was very friendly. My room was clean. They provide a nice breakfast in the morning. There are several restaurants within close walking distance of the hotel.

The staff was nice and friendly, however the room was pretty basic. The pictures made the rooms appear larger. The fitness center was small and some equipment didn't work. The breakfast was just okay, greasy flavorless bacon, but the cooking staff was friendly and restocked things quickly. Loved the fact that they provided real plates and flatware. The outside pool was nice and clean. I'd recommend this place for a short quick stay, it's close to everything the city has to offer.

Since I checked in yesterday, it has been great. The staff are very professional and courteous. The room is huge and very comfy. Love thes beds here. My room was clean and fresh. I am truly enjoying my stay here and would definetly stay again.

Very very disappointed in Hyatt and especially this hotel. I had planned to stay here on a work trip. Unfortunately for me, after delays and some cancellations my flight never made it to Columbus and I had to sleep in Memphis. The hotel refused to refund my rate as they determined I did not give them enough notice. How absurd of a hotel to say I hadn’t given enough notice — if I knew my flight wasn’t going to arrive before it didn’t, I would have given notice. Ridiculous to not refund my stay, as the cancellation was out of my control. Never will try or attempt to stay at a Hyatt again. Greedy slime bags!

Very clean rooms nice staff good breakfast.

We were traveling across country with our dog and struggled to find a nice place to stay that allowed pets. We stumbled across this fairly new, perfectly placed hotel. The facility was clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, the price was low, the staff was attentive, the menu was impressive and the bar/lounge area was awesome. There were large families staying there: a wedding, a funeral, a reunion… everyone was having fun together. Such an awesome time! We will be back!

The meeting room location was quiet with enough room for a big group and a projector. The staff was courteous.

I love this place. The pool wasnt all that clean. But my husband cleaned it and we had a blast including the other guest. Breakfast was great. Nice and clean staff. I will definitely stay here everytime I go to mississippi.

Hyatt is the place to be! all the accommodations you need! I would highly recommend the place for reunion birthday party! To sleep eat just a home away from home.

My stay was great coming in from a church service late the other night and wanted to take care of my bill the desk clerk was real busy making sandwiches and mixing drinks and other things he was very nice his name was laery what a great person he was to me he took care of my bill and had a great attitude even though he was pulled in different directions that man needs a raise.

Beautiful, clean, quiet. Friendly and courteous staff. The hot breakfast with fresh fruits was great! Upscale rooms. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Highly recommended!

I stay here every time I'm in Columbus. The breakfast is amazing, I've paid for breakfast not as good as theirs and their breakfast is included in your stay. The room is nice with a very comfortable bed. My shower may have needed a deep cleaning but that was only one of the times I've stayed here.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff was courteous and friendly. We had a small issue with our room, and made every attempt to make it right. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I have had at any hotel in a long time. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Hotel was very clean with courteous staff. Breakfast was better than most other hotels too.

The hotel itself is decent but the service at the front desk is subpar. I went downstairs to the bar to order a drink and the hostess (not bartender) had to go ask other employees how to make my drink. I asked for a Whisky sour and got a Amaretto sour. She offered to make it again and explained that this was a new drink menu but still, this is the Hyatt. If your going to have a bar downstairs have bartenders to man it. I cancelled my drink order and walked over to Longhorn.

Very friendly staff. The venue is gorgeous! My family enjoyed the time we spent there and looking forward to doing business and having functions there often.

Stayed here twice now and it has been great. Very clean and well maintained hotel. Staff is courteous and accommodating. Great breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend.

This is just an awesome place to stay very awesome staff, very polite and respectable. Will help you any kind of way why you are staying at the Hyatt Place. There's no other place better in town to stay. Try it for yourself then call someone and let them know how great the Hyatt Place is.

I stayed at this hotel for MSU home football games. It is a new hotel so of course the facility is well maintained but, the desk staff and management is HORRIBLE! I booked a reservation for November 4 during my stay on September 16. I returned to the hotel for my stay on October 14 and asked the front desk clerk to cancel my November 4 reservation and she assured me that it was taken care of. When I checked my credit card on November 7 I saw where I was charged for the room I cancelled. I contacted the hotel several times only for the desk staff to tell me that management would call me back. I never received that call. Only after contacting the corporate office was I able to speak to management. The first manager I spoke with said that I would have to prove that I was there and that I asked the clerk to cancel my room. The second manager I spoke with, Tressa Black sales manager, about my concerns told me that she would call me back concerning this matter never to do so. If you ever need to cancel a room in person at this hotel make sure you record the clerk handling your cancellation.

Very nice hotel. Close to restaurants, shopping, and bars. I will stay here again next time I'm intown.

About 15 minutes from the airport, located with plenty of food within walking distance. Comfy beds and friendly staff.

Nice hotel, rooms are updated and comfortable. Bathroom had an odd layout. There was hardly enough room to use the toilet.

Very accommodating for me and my little puppy. Very clean and upscale. Columbus is really growing! I will stay there whenever I come to visit. The breakfast and meals were Great!

The staff on the front desk was professional and friendly. Though we had a small issue at check-in, it was resolved quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and up-to-date. The housekeeping staff is very friendly. Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, with an ample selection of food. There's a small workout room that served my purposes. Want to do a little shopping, it's next door. Literally! I'll definitely stay again when in the area!

The pull out bed wasn't made up. When asking for sheets and extra towels, instead of staff bringing these things to us, we had to retrieve them from the front desk. The water pressure for showering here is abysmal. Rinsing off in what can only be described as a light mist takes much longer than a regular pressured shower. The Deco of the room is pretty nice. And the breakfasts have a decent selection.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The salesanager Tressa Black left a hand written note in my room and personally asked me about my stay and what could be improved during breakfast. I would definitely recommend it. The service was great.

What a great hotel! I was impressed with the rooms' cleanliness, modernity, and spaciousness. The free hot breakfast was by far the best any chain hotel has to offer. So much variety and such high quality ingredients! It's also so great that they have a full bar and 24-hour room service available. Highly recommend.

This was a very nice place to attend the conference. I give it a 4 star because no matter who you are there is always room for improvement. The grounds were very nice and the staff was exemplary. We need a phone bock to plug in our phone charger where as we could record the event, and one lady searched and searched until one was found. I didn't see the rooms, buy the restrooms and entrance way were very nice.

I love it, I don't think that house keeping should rush you out when you have paid to stay until check out time. Which means you should be rushed all morning until time to leave. You should wake up and relax. Other than that great service, very nice, very comfortable and clean.

The Hyatt Place in Columbus appears to be a newer modern hotel, especially for Columbus. We stayed here for a week and noticed that the entire floor of our room was damp from water damage, with water damage above one of the beds. The rooms are very spacious and could be accommodating if there wasn't a dampness in the air. We were on the second floor and the folks below us informed us of a water drip in their bathroom as well as a completely damp carpet flooring. In the shower, the faucet is about 2 cm away from the tile which was cracked from the hole drilled for the exposed pipe. On our first night there was a very bad leak on the first floor next to the room below us and it was solved by a trashcan being placed under the very heavy leak. The damage got so bad over night that the ceiling tile started to crack. There is also water damage all over the foyer and commons area in the hotel. I wouldn't be surprised if the company that installed the piping system is responsible but it doesn't seem to be taken care of. I would love to give the Hyatt a better review but I fear water damage will lead to black mold or other allergens that may be detrimental to one's health. I would suggest management check out whatever is causing water damage on the second and first floors.

Nice place and staff. Bed was clean. But overall needs a little attention. Tile a little grimey, and water rings on bed side table.

Worst experience EVER in a hotel. Thin walls, yeah the front desk person was nice, but all other workers are very rude. Horrible food in gallery. People walking in and out of room like you didn't pay to stay there and over charges on credit card every stay. Will never stay there again.

From the minute I entered the hotel the front desk staff greeted me and were extremely pleasant. I went there to attend a meeting and the hotel was very well kept.

This is by far the best hotel I've been to. The staff is the best. Everything they do there is with Love. From the food and the drinks it's made with Love. I will be back to the Hyatt hotel in Columbus Mississippi and I will let everyone no back in Louisiana about this small town hotel that shows there GUEST the best hospitality. Very nice stay. The only thing that was a negative — hardly a big deal — is that the staff pulls double duty manning a bar/restaurant counter so the front desk service can be slow if the galley is busy. Staying there again.

Very nice clean friendly hotel. Only drawback was the breakfast attendant. Not so friendly and was removing items and cleaning up at 9:25 when the bar was to be open until 10. She was not willing to leave cold cereal or make more eggs for the guests.
