If you are looking for an affordable hotel that is clean and has a friendly staff, this is a great place. If you have high standards go across the bridge and pay the high dollars over there!

We recommend a room next to the indoor pool. The outside of the building and immediate surroundings seemed a little sketchy when we first arrived but the interior was inviting. It seemed they went through a recent room renovation. Tina in the breakfast room was awesome staying on top of everything.

Had a great time here, really nice rooms very clean!

Upon arrival were told room wasn’t ready (was well after check-in time), then minutes later told it was ready. Get to the room and immediately see it wasn’t cleaned. Floors dirty, stains on the bed spread, couch was disgusting. Went to front desk to notify them and the front clerk didn’t know what to do. Finally the manager stepped in and came to take pictures of the room for the housekeeping manager. We decided to take our kids to the pool while we waited. Housekeeper was sent back in the room only to be standing outside of it minutes later crying and gossiping with another housekeeper. Pool was cold and dirty. Could see food and garbage all around the floor by the pool. Tables and chairs say to sanitize before and after use but no cleaners provided. Meanwhile this entire time we can hear a dog barking and scratching at the door! Some workers wearing masks, others not.
When we returned to the room it wasn’t in any better condition. We packed up and went to the Hampton Inn down the road and had a wonderful, clean experience!

Bugs! I was bit all over the body by some type of bug. I think fleas. Really hope I didn’t bring whatever bit me home with my infant.
for $150 a night I feel totally ripped off
All front desk did was say “sorry we’ll clean the room” like ok never coming back.

Hotel experience was very nice for three night stay manager reception every evening breakfast is mediocre price is average parking lot is small however rooms are clean big and fully remodeled rating recommendation on this experience give five stars of five stars.

Always my go to stay in Superior for 15+ years and more when I was a young child. Wonderful staff and even mailed something to me when I had forgotten it at the hotel.

I was very pleased that all the staff were always so upbeat and cheerfull. They all would smile and say hello, they would ask if there was anything we needed. The hotel room was wonderful. It was clean and housekeeping was great at coming back to do the room. I would strongly suggest a stay at this hotel.

Run down, broken a/c units, drunk naked men passed out in hallway, uncomfortable old beds, stained sheets and curtains. Very poor experience.

For the price, it wasn't bad. The rooms are decent, the beds are comfy but the bathrooms are tiny. Our air conditioner didn't exactly work the best and there wasn't a fan in our room. The hallway was at least 20 degrees hotter than our room and stunk of chlorine. The location is nice because it's only a short drive over the bridge to Duluth.

We found this to be a good value. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Minor point is the one-way street that requires a trip around the block to leave, but it's a short, easy block. Would definitely stay here again.

Despite the definitely aged outside, this is a modern, clean hotel that competes with the surrounding hotels in the Duluth-Superior Metro Area very well. The room was up to standards of a 4 star hotel, with clean beds and bathroom (although the bathroom was a bit crammed, but still definitely usable). Very similar to something you would find at a Hilton or Marriott. If you're looking for a hotel on an endeavor to the Duluth-Superior area, this is most likely your best bet in the overinflated hotel market that this area hits visitors with.

Easy to find, convenient location, with indoor pool for families and breakfast included. If you want quieter spot, ask for room away from pool, though it is quiet when pool closes at 10pm.

Awesome place to stay, the breakfast was better than expected, great Wi-Fi connection, fitness center actually had free weights with a view of the pool, everything was clean and well kept.

Easy check in. VERY Very spacious room with comfortable beds. Place doesn't look like much on the outside, but the room seems recently updated and was wonderful. Nothingg bad to say this stay. Very well recommended.

Car was stolen from the lot. Separate security firm notified the front desk employee of suspicious activity, and that the car was running. TWO HOURS later, they noticed the same activity and that the car was still running. Employee did nothing. Her response in the morning was, “Did you expect me to go through all 90 records to find the license plate? ” Very defensive, wonder if she’s in on it. If I could give negative stars, this would be the time.

Customer service is exceptional. We booked a room that didn't work for us and were able to get a refund without any hassles. The hotel is in good condition and the pics on their website are accurate, except that it isn't obvious how small their rooms are. I would paying a bit extra for the suite of more than one person is staying per room unless you are on a budget and willing to sacrifice comfort for the savings. It is a decent hotel, regular rooms are just very small.

Hotel fine but counter staff absolutely awful. Was driving through looking for hotel, saw on Expedia they had rooms for $104. When we arrived the woman behind the counter (Alex) was leaning against the wall and looked extremely put out that she had to help us. I asked ifi the pool and hot tub were working and open for use and she snapped "I just got here, how would I know, probably. " When I asked for a room, and she told us it would be $120 plus tax. I mentioned that online it was listed at $104 and asked if she could price match. She gave a very loud sigh and mumbled something I couldn't understand so I said I was sorry but I didn't catch what she said. She then angrily yelled "I said if you can prove it I'll see if I can match it! " I was rather taken aback by this, but I pulled out my phone and showed her the price. She loudly sighed again, and I apologized for inconvencing her and asked if it would be easier in the future if I just reserved online and brought in the receipt, and she just snapped "Do whatever you want, I don't care. " We took our room key and got away from her as fast as possible. Unfortunately later that evening the hot tub stopped working, and I went to the front counter and who should I see but Alex again. I told her I was sorry to bother her but I thought the hot tub wasn't working. She gave another of those extremely put upon sighs and told me that it was just the breaker and she just needed to go flip the switch.

Hotel was a nice General Hotel. A little dated but staff were excellent. Prices seemed a little bit high for a Best Western but overall experience was good.

We've stayed here a few times and have had great experiences every time. This is the perfect hotel if you're visiting Duluth. It is right over the bridge and cheaper than any room you'll find down town. The rooms are big and clean, and the beds are comfy. They have a food selection for breakfast that tastes great. And the pool is the perfect size.

Good corporate rates. Nice, clean rooms with a happy hour that included today:crock pot type tator tot hotdish, carrots, pickle spears, cheese dip, dill dip, salsa, 3 different chips. Nice happy hour. Was told last nights chili was good enough for some to make it their only dinner. Alex at front desk volunteered to go the extra mile and all without prompting!

It is a very old place and small rooms. The pool is small and has no real place to hang. But they do have a store and a computer anf printer you can use.

Had a really good time staying here the last time we were in town. Hotel was nice and was clean. Not the nicest of rooms but pretty good for Superior. Would stay here again.

Excellent staff and clean rooms. Very nice pool area. Hot breakfast and evening snacks and drinks offered as well.

Wasn't bad. Lobby area very small. Only seating for 2. Breakfast was the usual. Pool area was good. Housekeeping bad. All I ever ask for is clean towels and garbage removed. We were sitting in the room just relaxing. (very early hockey game in Cloquet) Went out in the hall and my neighbors told me she had already been done in that hallway. She never even knocked on the door to see if we needed anything.

We stayed one night as we we're going to go to Bentleyvill in Duluth, check in staff was very polite and quick. We didn't have any issues and would definitely stay again & also recommend this hotel. Cheaper than hotels in Duluth, and you get free breakfast, & they also have happy hour. Very friendly people.

We went up to the Duluth area for military appreciation week. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Great service, and an extensive breakfast buffet.

I stay here as often as I can. Fitness center is great, price is decent, and the breakfast is really good. Plus the happy hour is a nice perk. I rated the survey a little low because the heat didn't seem to work during my last visit. I would have mentioned it during checkout, but the clerk (who may have been a housekeeper) seemed pre-occupied and was a little short with me.

Hotel full of people attending a bike race who need to leave before 7 a. M. Sun. Morning. The directory in the room says there is a grab and go breakfast EVERY day 5 to 7:00 a. M. We were given a paper on check — in that says grab and go breakfast is 4:30 to 5: 00 Mon. — Fri. When I told the front desk person nicely this was an issue he stated " It is not my problem".

It was in a convenient location. There was a steak house across the street from the hotel. The pool and hot tub were in good condition. It was cheaper to stay in Superior than in Duluth, is why I stayed there.

Air conditioner is broken and makes terrible noise all night. Like a chair being dragged around. Night staff is rude. Don't forget your key. They won't let you into the hotel. My husband was locked out for 30 minutes at 12am and his name was on the room. He finally called me and I got up to get dressed and let him in. The night staff didn't see his name on the room and were not going to let him in. I said to the lady to check the name it's rented under. No apologies for her behavior either. My closet at home is bigger than the bathroom. Breakfast was good. Won't be staying here again.

Great stay! Awesome evening staff Jordan and Morgan. Morning staff not so much. Good breakfast selection and nice customer appreciation happy hour. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy walking distance to eateries. Would stay here again.

I will say this is a pretty decent hotel. I had no issues, the room is comfortable and clean, the breakfast is good, the staff is friendly. I would have no problem staying here again.

Had few issues but it was a fairly decent place to spend the night. — Pool smelled weird/tasted weird. We were all swimming and all noticed it. — Lady at the counter didn't seem knowledgeable. — NO Elevator so it your on second floor plan to carry all your stuff. Wish they told us on the phone. Breakfast was decent, room seemed clean.

Best Western Bridgeview hotel was a down to earth comfortable hotel with a fabulous staff in a great location. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Super great comfy beds, wish the pool was open later. The eggs seemed to be powdered, but still flavorful enough and the rest of the items were great. No elevator that we knew of, but we got a handicapped accessible room on the 2nd floor (? ). Our traveling companion had bad knees and really would have liked to have that access. Other than that, we were pleasantly surprised by this older property in Superior.

No fault of this place. I had called best western to use my points and was guaranteed two joining rooms with 2 dbl beds. We were originally given two separate rooms one wth two dbl and one with queen. They finally were able to give us two dbl bed rooms not connected. Not happy with arrangements.

We had a wedding block and was advised that we could check in at 12:30 to get ready for the wedding… No one communicated to the other staff… The hotel reap of chloride… The night auditor she was really rude as we return to the hotel from reception. The room keys did not work to open door and she just stood there looking at us for a good 5 minutes until I knock on the door… We asked her to check the cards and she was all of them. I will not use this location again…

Rooms are nice and clean bathroom a bit small. Pool area is awesome! Breakfast was very good! Staff are super friendly and courteous! Great location for shopping dining etc.

This motel is not a classy hotel, and to large extent there are 'regular ' working clad folks that stay here. But that being said, outs got a decent pool, a nice, up — to — date exercise room that is open 24 hours, and a nice hot breakfast area. The added bonus is that from 5:30 to 7:00 on weekdays they have a happy hour in the breakfast room with snacks, meatballs and almost every beverage option one would like, as complimentary to and for the guests. It's got two thumbs up from me!

Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Inside pool. But, the noise from that pool is impossibly loud. And, if you have a room away from the pool, it's likely you will be facing a very busy street. Pro tip: there are 10 rooms with king beds. But, only rooms 230 and 231 have a king bed and second privacy door. If you close both of the doors, it effectively eliminates the noise of the indoor pool.

When we checked in, all we got were two room keys, no info about Wi-Fi or password, we were not told about the cocktail hour and appetizers and by the time we found out it was over Was not impressed with dogs in the pool area and the Breakfast area. Young kids under the allowed age were left in the hot tub with float tubs while their parents got shitfaced and were loud and obnoxious. Walls are and always have been paper thin. Definatley a change from the old management who did a great job catering to all. Things have really changed here.

Room was great. Pool was nice. Breakfast was good. The front desk was always busy, for such a big hotel there should be more than one person at the desk.

The service is always good at best Western bridgeview. I like this place and I have visited several times. Pool area is loud do rooms away from pool are much quieter.

We always stay at Best Western in Superior, because it's consistently clean and inviting. This weekend we stayed, and I accidentally lost my new Tervis cup cover down into the ice machine, and was unable to retrieve it. After I got home, I called back and talked to Tom, who asked me to call back in 10 minutes. Sure enough, he was able to get my cover and is mailing it to me! I am so impressed with him going above and beyond, that we will be staying here every time we visit Duluth. Thank You Tom! We appreciate your kindness!

Room was spacious and comfortable, I have no complaints.

The rooms were nice and clean and provided all the necessary amenities. It was nice to get drink tickets. Pool area was nice.

The room was pretty nice, and had everything I needed and expected with the exception of a freezer with the fridge. I figured it would have the top section as a freezer and it wasn't so a piece of food I bought that needed to be frozen thawed and I had to throw it away. The staff was nice and was able to help me with any question I had and the room was very clean. Other than the freezer thing it was a pleasant experience and I would stay again.

Husband travels for a living, and he always stays here. So when I vacationed w him, we ended up at the same place. Great location, super friendly and enthusiastic. Spotlessly clean, although dated. Beds were soft, and rooms are quite large. Pool area does get a bit nosey… but hey, children's laughter doesn't bother me… I'd recommend anyone (that doesn't go based on looks) to stay at this hotel…

We always love this best western every year for our family. The manager is easy going, and the staff is always helpful. It's a place where you can relax and have a great time. If you want quiet stay in a room away from the pool it's called fun. Love this place.

I stayed for one night with my family. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The pool and hot tub are a nice bonus. We came to the area because of Bentley ville. A sauna would have been better than hot tub in my opinion.

The rooms are dated. Nothing particularly bad about the place, but nothing is great either.

Always consistent, clean, and reasonable. We are always welcome and so is our dog.

Stayed there 3 times now It is a bit older but well maintained. 2 times now have been birthday parties with children and both times they were in hot tub and pool up to closing time. It's always good to enjoy an adult beverage in a hot tub or pool area but I refrain from doing it in front of children. It would be nice to have children hours up until 10 for noise and give other guests an opportunity to relax in pool area or fall asleep if staying in pool area.

We were having car trouble and decided to get a room for the evening rather than risk it and push on for home. We paid $186 for one night. At that crazy price, I can see why this hotel still had rooms available. I am grateful to have had a place to stay for the evening as my car did break down the next day, however the price was extravagant for the mediocre type of hotel this place was.

This older motel has been well maintained through the years. The rooms, common areas, and pool are in great condition even for a new property. This is a rare gem found in Superior, friendly staff, up-to-date accommodations, and reliable, high speed internet. Oh, and HDTV too on what appears to be new flat-screen televisions. I have stayed at hotels, motels, and inns worldwide and would rank this BestWestern as one of their better locations. In closing, all I can say is that I have no idea what must have been the cause of the 2 bad reviews. From the manager on down the list, everyone was friendly, attentive, and ready to help with just about anything. There were NO problems with the lodgings so their help was only for local matters. Good job Bridgeview. I'll certainly stay with you again when in the area.

Good price, friendly staff, and no problems with the room. The breakfast had plenty of variety and the pool looked nice (but didn't have time to swim in it). Would DEFINITELY stay again.

Horrible staff. They were beyond rude and had the a bad attitude that they had a full place. We were up there to the see Tall Ships last weekend so it was packed to capacity, and they seemed flustered and upset with all the people. Plus paying 180.00 for a Best Western Motor Inn is down right insane. Waste of $$ and the staff is awful.
