The one star is for location, which is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. It needs major updating in regards to paint and carpet. The lobby, hallways and elevators (which are painfully slow) are stuffy and uncomfortably hot. We reserved a block of rooms for my daughter’s wedding and EVERY interaction I had with Pat was incredibly unpleasant. She’s rude, abrupt and has no customer service skills whatsoever. I note this was mentioned many times in other reviews and it’s interesting she is still employed here. She was rude to a customer on the phone and after the conversation ended proceeded to talk about that customer to another guest who was checking in. We booked a suite for both the bride/bridesmaids and groom/ groomsmen for Friday night and guests booked additional rooms for Saturday night. We needed late check in for Saturday as check in is at 3 and everyone was at the venue prior to that, wouldn’t be returning until after 1am. This concept was apparently more than Pat could grasp when I repeatedly tried to explain this to her. When I checked in she handed me a gift bag for guests from a different wedding party When I tried multiple times to explain that these gifts were not for our wedding (wrong times/venues) she argued and then insisted “I just take it”. They charged my daughter and her husband for rooms they didn’t book, still waiting to make sure the charges are corrected on their credit card. I was so excited when we booked this hotel for our wedding weekend but in the end terribly disappointed with our stay. Would not recommend this hotel Hope the other wedding party had a better experience.
