The one star is for location, which is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. It needs major updating in regards to paint and carpet. The lobby, hallways and elevators (which are painfully slow) are stuffy and uncomfortably hot. We reserved a block of rooms for my daughter’s wedding and EVERY interaction I had with Pat was incredibly unpleasant. She’s rude, abrupt and has no customer service skills whatsoever. I note this was mentioned many times in other reviews and it’s interesting she is still employed here. She was rude to a customer on the phone and after the conversation ended proceeded to talk about that customer to another guest who was checking in. We booked a suite for both the bride/bridesmaids and groom/ groomsmen for Friday night and guests booked additional rooms for Saturday night. We needed late check in for Saturday as check in is at 3 and everyone was at the venue prior to that, wouldn’t be returning until after 1am. This concept was apparently more than Pat could grasp when I repeatedly tried to explain this to her. When I checked in she handed me a gift bag for guests from a different wedding party When I tried multiple times to explain that these gifts were not for our wedding (wrong times/venues) she argued and then insisted “I just take it”. They charged my daughter and her husband for rooms they didn’t book, still waiting to make sure the charges are corrected on their credit card.

Room needed some updates. Lobby and breakfast were good though.

This hotel should be rated a 1 or lower. We visited this past weekend for a wedding, and I stayed with the bride. We came to find out that the hotel has a history of bed bugs and we found multiple bed bugs in our room. We let the staff know and all they said was, "Again"? No apology, no discount. They just moved us to a different room, mind you this happened at 1 am. This situation was so frustrating being that it was the night before my best friend's wedding and this should not have happened. If you have an issue at your hotel with bed bugs, get it taken care of completely before you book these rooms again. I am hoping to help someone else avoid the same problem in the future.

The hotel was easy to find. The rooms were excellent quality and really well priced. The staff was very friendly and quick to answer any questions we had.

On our last stay was 03/2018 Everything clean, staff courteous, wonderful breakfast… the receptionist Pat, was very friendly with a bubbly personality and great smile, wonderful customer service who can go wrong! Best Comfort Inn & Suites hotel I have ever stayed at! We are going back for another visit tomorrow 05/13, knowing our stay will be great once again! If your in the Grafton area I highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic suite, clean and quiet. Courteous staff across the board. Continental breakfast could use improvement, including but not limited to gluten free options other than eggs and sausage ie at least one or two GF pastry or waffle/pancake choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed here on April 1st Easter Sunday because our house was filled with iritatting fumes and we were advised by poison control to leave our house for the night to let it air out. We needed a pet friendly atmosphere since we uave a cat and no where else for him to go than with us at 10 pm. When we were leaving we found a bed bug in his water dish showed the woman at the front desk and she seemed to be more concered we would make a scene than that there was a stage 4 bed bug in her presence. On Tuesday my partner was covered with red welt like bites on his arms and torso, consistant with bed bug bites. When attempted to contact via email I am ignored. This is ridiculous. We litteraly came to the hotel with the clothes on our back a purse and a cat carrier. The purse and cat carrier has had to be discarded along with our clothes since we were not infested with bed bugs prior to this visit and hopefully have not brought them home with us after our less than 12 hour stay.

This place is absolutely horrible. Facilities are disgusting, staff is rude and very unprofessional. I reserved 3 nights with my credit card. They charged it 258 bucks which I knew they would do like all hotels, I ended up shortening my stay, which I was told was fine and I paid for ONE night with CASH. They told me the charges would drop from my card in 3-5 business day. Ok great. Only that was three weeks ago. And get this. There are now two different charges on my card. One for 258, And one for 340 dollars. I called my credit company and told them it's fraud and something illegal is going on at this hotel. These people are ROBBING customers blind. I will NEVER stay at a comfort in for the rest of my life. And I hope they face some fraud charges. Absolutely dumb founded that this happened.

The shower bath needed some work — was stuck in "shower" mode and the plug for the drain had broken off. Not a huge deal if you can stand for a shower, but this lack of maintenance was poor and could be dangerous.

Most of the facilities there were old. The elavator was old, the vending machines were old, and the bathrooms were old. When I went to get a snack from the vending machine, not only did it have trouble accepting my quarters (I had to insert the same quarter about 10 times before it would accept it), but when I finally was able to select a snack it got stuck in the machine. When I went down to the front desk to tell them, I had an interesting experience with the elevator. I got in, the elavator went to the fourth floor and did not open its doors and then stopped again at the third floor and then went down to the first. The bed was very comfortable, but the bathroom toilet didn't flush properly and the shower cutains didn't close all the way.

This was by far the worst experience I had at a hotel. There were a number of things wrong during my stay. The biggest issue I had was when my girlfriend and I went out to dinner. When we came back our door was opened, mind you this is about 830pm so no maids should be working. I brought up this issue to the front desk, and they really didn't care. I requested the manager come in, which of course they wouldn't. They were the only way to see how the person got into our room. I am still waiting for a call back! Another issue we had was with the room. There was a constant loud clicking in the room, every 30 seconds it would click as if someone was snapping their fingers. I did count the seconds in between too, what else are you going to do when the snapping is keeping you up at 3am. The next problem was that there were no blinds on the windows, there were see through netting but that was it. There was absolutely no privacy from the outside street what so ever. On top of those 2 things, the bath tub was tiny. I'm 6'2", I might has well used a 55 gallon drum to bathe in. The last thing I am going to complain about is the bed. For one there were stains all over the pillows and big blotches on the mattress… absolutely disgusting. The bed was also very short. My legs were hanging off the end of the bed on a "king" size mattress. That combined with the clicking didn't make for any good sleep. I would never recommend this place to anyone for any reason.

Very quick check in, nice location right off highway. Very polite staff and well kept rooms. Extremely comfortable bed would definitely recommend.

This was terrible. The room had a huge crack in the wall with paint and plaster peeled off the wall about 5' high by the bed. The toilet had a ring of dirt around the water line, the shower head was pulled out from the wall, the sliding door partition in the room was worn through with holes, the bedding skirt had white stains (you know what kind) on the side of the bed, the refrigerator door was filthy, the phone didn't work at all and I had to use my cell phone to call down to the front desk to complain, and then they sent a man up without asking at 11:20 p. M. When we wanted to go to bed. He spent nearly 30 minutes plugging, unplugging and messing with the phone, then left the room and returned again with a bucket and cleaning supplies with his wife and cleaned the toilet and pushed the shower head back in the wall. I can't believe the condition of the hotel — the hallway was smelly and had huge stains all the way down the carpet in the halls. I stayed here a few years ago, and it wasn't nearly this bad. I would like a refund. I told the front desk on departure and the night before, and all we were told was that the manager wasn't in yet — it was 11:50 a. M. Seriously — this place needs a visit from top management. Another guest told me she was standing in about 5" of water while taking a shower. Something needs to be done. I was also charged $20 more than what the reservation said online through Comfort Inn and given a suite which I did not reserve.

My room was very clean, staff very friendly, TV and other appliances/ plumbing worked fine. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay again.

Pretty standard hotel room. Not that thats a bad thing. Comfortable beds. Clean. Good shower although the faucet was a bit spraying.

Rooms were dirty and smelled of mold, urine, chemicals. Switched rooms to find the same. Stained carpet, furniture and drapes. Drawers had crumbs, sink had toothpaste and bathroom had not been cleaned at all. Broken couch. I would not stay here, and probably not at a Comfort Inn again. We were in a pinch because we were traveling with 2 dogs and this was the only hotel in the Grafton, WI area where pets were accepted. Unusual since everywhere else we traveled on this 3-week adventure had loads of dog-friendly choices.
