This motel is a hidden gem, in the middle of Eagle River. You are literally right next to the downtown area. Our room came with a kitchenette, but there are no utensils provided. You are only a few blocks from a supermarket, so you can easily supply yourself, and save a bundle on restaurant expenses. The room interiors are dated, but clean and comfortable, and most importantly, quiet. That said, at this price, you shouldn't expect the Ritz. I recommend this motel, if you're looking for a good place to stay in Eagle River. I would rate 4.5 stars, but Google doesn't seem to allow that on the phone.

Dated but clean the inn is a throwback to the 70's but it is clean and comfortable a good value for the price.

Clean room and we got a room at last minute. Man seemed not so friendly. People spell my name wrong all the time so I was not offended at all by that.

Yeah these people are rude, unprofessional, unclean, can't even understand them, didn't even stay there because presentation is everything.

So we ordered a room and we all know that its a 4 person room and we have 6 ppl and we ask for a refund and we got pissed about it nd we said that there is 2 oppstions and he called the cops so 3 of us are in the room and the other 3 are in the car.

This place is aweful. We took a taxi to see a family members sing in a band as soon as we got dropped off by a taxi we had a disgusting middle aged man questioning our where abouts and after paying nearly 120.00 We will stay everywhere. Horrible place. No courtesy whatsoever. Horrible hospitality!

Very unfriendly to other businesses. Targets other businesses with negative advertising. Presents unfriendly attitude publicly which is negative for the entire town. Customers sometimes ask about the negative signage in front of the business.

The room was clean, which is the most important. However, the walls are thin and I could hear the conversations in the rooms on either side of me. BUT the location made up for it, the next block over has all the shopping, food, and beverages! So that was super convenient, and at $75 for the night, just can beat that for a clean, great location, place to stay.

Very mean spirited people the owners I was thinking about using them for my family reunion but the way I was treated before I could even get two cents in I'll take my business elsewhere Edit not a local, wasn't laughing was politely smiling and saying it won't happen again. I didn't see the sign because I parked right behind it if I saw it I would have totally respected it and I was truly sorry cause I saw how upset you were and I don't like having that effect on people there is a right way and a wrong way of going about things.

The price was right, staff very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping terrifficly polite. Location convienent, right in town. Room was simple and comfortable. Others have rated this Inn quite low, we didn't see why. If you expect the Taj Mahal then you should rent it. If you want quality at an affordable price try Travelers Inn.

I first hand have seen people pull in the parking lot and stop to read the huge sign that clearly states HOTEL GUEST PARKING ONLY. This is a huge well placed sign. Simple to understand. Yet people drive right on in and park. When the owners go out to tell the people it is a private parking lot I have seen them get rude to the owners. It is there parking lot. They maintain it and keep it for guest. They have a right to ask you not to park there. I do not know why anyone would find that to be wrong. If were my lot I would not want people parking in it either unless they were customers. If people would only respect his rights there would be no problem.

If there is a work worse than horrible I would use it. I happened to be an unlucky person that parked too close to the inn and was totally bashed by one of the owners. Being new to the area, I apologized but could not get a word out. The lady owner bitched me out with foul language. I never in my life experienced anything like this. Please be warned. Not cool.

Tonight my husband and I went for a walk of the downtown area. I took my camera so I could take some pictures to show friends and family what a cool little town we now call home. I snapped a picture of this hotels front sign and was really enjoying the evening light. Next door is a new hair salon and I was lining up a shot when I heard a voice from the front porch. "get out of here. " I turned, shocked (I was standing on the sidewalk) to see an older lady glaring at me! My husband and I met eyes and looked around… honestly her tone was like she was speaking to dogs. She turned and went back into the hotel. There goes me suggesting any of our out of town guest stay at this location. Honestly if they're this rude to people walking by on the sidewalk how do they hope to have guest?!

I'm figuring that the guy who checked me in (and who cleaned my room every day) is the owner, and he seemed a nice enough guy. He certainly treated me well enough. He's a very laid-back dude from, guessing here, Poland?. The room I got (a 'Deluxe' one) had a perfectly usable kitchen. (There was no dishwasher, but I'm used to busting suds. ) Everything was clean and in working order. That said, I felt as though I was in a Coen Brothers movie set in, oh, 1974. This place is a time capsule. The Wi-Fi allowed me to stream video from both Netflix and DishOnline with no issues. If I have to come back to Eagle River, I'll stay here again. (The fifth star is missing because of the age of the furnishings, etc. )
