Our room was not good. There was trash behind the bed, clogged sinks (not only our room), and a hair clot on the roof of our shower. We asked staff if there was any way to fix it and they didn't do anything. We we're also in a sweet… The breakfast was bad too. They didn't have protein foods. All they had for us was waffles, bread, juice, and one of the juices were water. Do not recommend!

Tried to charge us more than what we were quoted. Bathroom had mold in it. Beds only had fitted sheets (wrong size for bed) and comforter. No flat sheets or blankets were used. Only two towels in the bathroom, and when we asked for more (there were three of us), we were told there were no more clean ones. Breakfast was almost non-existent. The breads were dry and the fruits were rotten. DO NOT waste your money!

Very nice place, with a great pool and hot tub. The rooms were very nice and clean, beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helped with anything you needed! Breakfast offers all of your grain options, if you can't eat grain or wheat, you will want to find breakfast elsewhere however… the only thing we really had issues with is the bathroom. The shower curtain looked covered in mildew, the bathtub surround was filthy and stained, water would never get warmer than Luke warm, and the water shoots out at chest level, making hair washing for anyone over 5 foot, very interesting. All in all, we will check into staying here again if in the area! Nice and quiet. Just what one likes on vacation through bike rally week ;)

The room was definitely dated but ok for the price. I was annoyed that they say that the pool is only open for customers from 4-9 PM! What in the world? I have never been to a hotel that has a pool but doesn't let you use it?! When you have little kids that want to swim and are excited for the pool it's hard to explain that they can't use it!

Rooms are very basic, some lights didn't work and the toilet bowl wasn't the cleanest. Decently priced for a last minute booking on memorial day weekend. Wouldn't stay again if given the choice.

We booked this for a one night stay, What we encountered on our visit was the following: the air conditioner in the room kept shutting down and would not cool the room. The mini-fridgerator did not work. There was no hand towels to use to clean up. One of the beds was extremely hard, the other was soft. The room was however clean, we were just looking for a place to lay our down for the night. The price was right. We had reserved a deluxe queen bed suite.

I'm completetly disgusted. I discovered to my dismay, after sleeping on the sheets, that they were grossly dirty. When I complained, they said they'd make sore they changed them tonight! No refunds or discounts are "allowed"! Breakfast was non-existent. No manager to talk to, corporate didn't care. Baymont has lost all my business! DO NOT STAY HERE!

If I could give this hotel a 0 I absolutely would. They charged us $150 for ONE Night. The pool was empty. The rooms have sheets for bedding. There was no toilet paper in our bathroom. There was bugs on the floor. Breakfast room was a joke and juice machine didn't work. Staff were very rude. Absolutely will not return or recommend.

Horrible. Minimally helpful staff. Only half the TV channels actually worked. Fan in bathroom falling out of the ceiling. Shower head falling out of wall. Advertised as having a pool but pool was drained Ns game room was freezing. Will not be returning to this hotel.

Horrible… my husband and son stayed there lastnight… the heat did not work in their room. They had no water in the swimming pool and no one had hot water this morning.

Sitting here in the motel room. I called and reserved 2 rooms a month and a half ago, and was quoted $64.99 a night per room. Cool, right!? Yeah, no we get her my husband goes into check in comes out and we were charged $200+ for the rooms. Say what!? When trying to talk to the lady at the front desk she tried and explains to me how the monthly rates go up per month!? Um, isn't that' the whole reason to book so far ahead of time so you're guaranteed the price. Asked for the mangers number and she gives me the number to the Hampton Inn. Rooms are disgusting. The heater is a joke. I don't recommend this place to anybody. PLUS, the pool is down.

The help when we checked in were friendly. Rooms were not clean, box elder bugs in tub and floor of bathroom. Very out dated and door too room was hard to open due to broken wood at top of door. Breakfast is basic but has waffle maker but no waffle mix. When asked if they had some the lady went to look and never came back to tell us she didn't have any. We only stayed one and checked out and went to different hotel.

This place is not a place to stay. We went in to rent a room and absolutely nobody around to help us. They only people we seen in there was a couple maintenance men working in the eating room. If I could give it a zero I would have.

It would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in my room as well. Other then that. It's a cute hotel. Stuff for kids to do. Decent rooms. And a yummy pizza place that is attached to it.

DO NOT and I mean DO NOT stay at this place… run far far away from this dump! Checked in at 3pm and went to our room and it was a disaster! Beer cans all over… the room hadn't been clean. We went to the front desk and told us they would have it cleaned by 4pm. We came back to the room at 4:25pm and still wasn't cleaned. I went back to the front desk and told them it wasn't clean and they said there was someone up there cleaning it at that moment, I told them no there wasn't as I just came from the room and my husband was up in the room and he text me no one was there cleaning. They finally had someone clean the room but all they did was wipe down the counter in the bathroom and put clean towels in it. He had to request them to put clean sheets on the bed. I have pictures of the food on the floor and the ashes on the tables and it's a no smoking room. I have pictures of the broken toilet seat that is covered in urine. The bathroom light won't turn off. Not a single apology or offer to move us to a different room. I called corporate and filled a complaint. Tried moving to a different hotel but no vacancies or pay $400 to $600/night. It's not even worth the 1 star rating I gave it!

Check your credit card and bank statements! If you got a special deal on the hotel through a third party, they will charge you more once you arrive. You have to report it as fraudulent because they wont refund your money. They are nice people but not very organized. We arrived after check-in and walked into a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. They cleaned it right then, but thats still unacceptable. After eating a quick dinner all I wanted to do was shower. Come to find out the bath tub is filled with water… I called and called and finally walked down to the front desk… funny thing! There are other people down here with issues… well 3hrs later and I ended up showering in the pool.

This place is disgusting. The sink backs up, when we checked in, a guest asked management when their tub would be fixed. Sewage was backed up for two days, and they weren't even moved. The air/heat unit had no knobs. They were all missing so we couldn't cool the room down and it STUNK! Bedding was dirty and whenever we went down to talk to management, no one was there. Three lights didn't work and bathroom fan was hanging off the ceiling. I don't expect the Ritz, but I expect a clean and opperational room.

I will not stay there again double the prices just because they put microwaves in room plus I leave early in the morning cuz I drive through for work usually Ever every other Hotel after I paid cash when checking in will give me a receipt here they won't they tell you you have to wait till you check out then come the morning when I have to leave early nobody is never around just sat around for 45 minutes waiting for somebody so I can check out and get my receipt this used to be a good place to stay but this will be the last time I stay here.

This hotel is bad. We had to move to 3 rooms before we found one. With a working shower. It smelled really bad had to buy. Febreeze so I could stand staying there.

For the price of a two bed, everything was great. Larger sized room with basic amenities like fridge and microwave. Very friendly staff. Really no complaints at all. Beds were a little uncomfortable but not terrible.

It was OK. The beds are hard, and we had no coffee in room, note said they were out? Must have been out of soap and shampoo too. Luckily Walmart was close, folgers singles work well in those little pots and bought bar soap there. Another review said breakfast was "great" hmmmm…

This was a nice and clean hotel. Staff was very excellent. I would definitely come back just because of how friendly and attentive the staff was.

This place was gross. It's very outdated but I can handle that. Hallways smelled like an old church. The part that was terrible was the MOLD. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, mold on the wall, and mold on the floor of the bathtub. Also, the handle to our faucet came RIGHT OFF! My husband was brave and showered and the shower head was so short he had to duck. He also could hardly get any hot water. Hair in the bath tub as well. The TV was nice but everything else was just old and looked dirty. I wouldnt stay here again.

Overall good experience but the room smelled funny (fresh glued carpet? ) and couldn't access the internet from the room. Step out to the hall way, perfect signal, go figure. Pillows were a little hard, but overall would recommend. We knew it was a continental breakfast so we did not even check out our but opted to go to Perkins that was just down the street.

My wife and I and another couple stayed at Ho Jo's here in Spearfish, S. D. This past August for 4 days. The staff was excellent and couldn't do enough for us. The owner even helped us with getting around the area and helped us in every way. We'll be doing the 75 anniversary of Sturgis next year and I will "hopefully" be using their location for our home away from home. Very clean and your just walking distance from beverages, and food. Thanks again for a great stay… See you next year! The Colborns.
