Lovely place and wonderful rooms.

The staff was nice and very helpful but unfortunately apparently not a safe location since our vehicle was broken into and one staff member mentioned after the fact it had been happening more frequently.

The in room hot tub is a nice touch.

The housekeeping staff has failed twice during our stay.
the first time I talked directly with the hotel manager about the incident… our room door was propped open and left unattended for who knows how long… but we know for sure it was at least 20 minutes because we sat in our room waiting to see when they would return. We had electronics, medications, etc in our room and anyone could have walked in and taken those items. Today they failed again. We came back to our room after 8pm to find the bathroom hadn't been touched… not cleaned, used towels on the floor, trash still in the trash can. I'm seriously NOT HAPPY with the housekeeping service at this hotel.

A/C doesn’t work correctly, Internet is very Slow.
Room wasn’t cleaned for Two Days, had to ask the front desk to get it cleaned. The Staff is very Friendly.
The place just needs to be updated.

First the good. The staff is friendly and tries to be helpful. However, some things like finding the correct TV station guide and replacement of a missing lamp seemed to be out of reach for one shift on the front desk. The hotel is clean and convenient for traveling in and out of Rapid City. The bar and restaurant are convenient and pleasant. The business center is neat and convenient and has two computers and a printer. Now the not so good. Like many Hilton properties (and we have stayed at a lot of them) the need to conserve energy has made many the rooms dingy. Ours had a suite with a ceiling light in the living room section that you could not read by. There was a light on the desk that was adequate for working at the desk but did little to light up the room. There was an end table between the sofa and the chair that should have had a lamp on it. We were told that the table should not have had a lamp and that an extra could not be found. Walking down the hall on day two we noticed a light on the table in the room right next to us. Two additional conversations with the front desk desk did produce a floor lamp with a bulb that you could barely read by. The walls being painted dark red did not help either. The lamp between the beds had two "energy saving" bulbs that appeared to be at least ten years old based on the amount of dust on them. These lights were inadequate for reading in bed.

I stay at probably 50 hilton properties yearly and this is my 1st bad review ever. There are large 4" deep dimples on both sides of the bed, the matress is completely shot. Simple pushing gently my hand into the frame and one of the legs is about to snap off. I am a 185lbs person, not that large and laying on each side, those dimples show up within a couple minutes. I understand they are completely occupied but no sympathy or sorry when calling down to the front desk and a, "All I can do is call maintenance tomorrow. " Do not fall for the "free upgraded room" like I did. Room 233 is a JOKE!

This is the best hotel ever. Great location in a quiet area. Rooms were exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Beds are Tempurpedic and adjustable… Very comfortable. Best hotel I've ever been in, and I've been in a lot.

I am looking for a wedding reception venue and Hilton Garden Inn looks like the best choice for us. The hotel is very clean and updated. The decor doesn't clash with what we're imagining our reception to look like. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I've stayed here multiple times over the years and have had a wonderful experience every time. The staff goes out of their way to ensure each guests stay is comfortable and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and appointed well. Theeakfast buffet and menu are great. I will continue to stay here when in Rapid City.

Comfortable, adjustable beds, awesome amenities, staff, and facilities. Clean, bright, new. Close to everything! Indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, business center and conference room. Restaurant, bar and lounging area. Enjoyed our stay!

Could not get the room below 72. Rep came up and reset it. AC did not work. Still not working. Coffee maker broken. Outlet to plug iron in not working. No TV guide. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

It’s a nice hotel, but… Cell phone wireless lock worked once at an outside door, but every time I tried my room door the app said my Bluetooth was off, even though it was on. Even tried rebooting my phone. The bed frame sticks out quite a bit and I kept hitting my knee on the corner of the bed. Trash picked up at 6 am Saturday morning. The back up horn beeping, dumpster clanging and banging as the garbage truck lifted the dumpster over head and emptied it. Very poor planning on management’s part. Affects any even numbered room, all floors, x30 and up.

Super clean. Great staff. The bed was comfy. It was a quick visit so we didn't get a chance to go to the restaurant.

I typically stay at Hilton brand hotels when traveling. I chose this Hilton hotel based on the price during my trip and it was centrally located to where I was doing business. Staff when I arrived was very friendly. The next morning during my shower I noticed the drain appeared slightly clogged. To my surprise there was a hairball the size of a tennis ball resting on the drain. When I addressed this with the manager I was told "we'll take care of it". No apology, no offer to make it right. This was a huge let down especially since it came from the manager on duty. When I returned my room was spotless clean which was nice however the lack of empathy from the manager will cause me to stay at a different hotel the next time I visit rapid City.

Great rooms. Wonderful service. In hotel bar is very nice, and inexpensive. Breakfast is amazing. The servers are incredibly nice, and seem to actually care about their customers.

Visited during a winter storm. The room was comfy and warm. Elevator was out due to a water pipe burst, but the staff were friendly and helpful and did everything to make it an enjoyable trip.

My husband and I attended a military Christmas party there. The hotel was lovely. The party room off to the right of the entrance seemed small for the size of gathering we attended. It was split in half with an "outer" location where the buffet table was set up and an "inner" location where the tables were. The food was alright. I'm not sure if the hotel provided it or of it was outside catering though.

The Hilton wow where to start, I worked here for two months and was on time everyday, I got fired this morning for been late twice this week, For two months everyone is late everyday the so called GM does not know what she is doing, If she did she would know that everyone gets high on the clock leaves while there clocked in. "Free pay good job GM" The kitchen is the worse no one wears gloves the like to scratch themselves and make your food, That is disgusting. I will be reporting the Hilton to HR the labor board and The Health Dept. I suggest not going here unless you want to get high or sick.

Warm atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Only one washer and one dryer in whole place, on first floor.

As a handicapped person I found it odd that the handicap rooms were on the 3rd and 4 th floors at the opposite end of the hallway from the elevators…

Very nice hotel. Room was clean with all the amenities including a microwave and minifridge. Bathroom was clean and elegant. Has a pool and gym. Spacious lobby and the bed was even adjustible for softer or firmer which was the first time I have seen that. The price was also very good for the quality.

When we called to make a reservation at this hotel we were told they had one room left with a king size bed. We were traveling with children so I told them that we would take the room as long as they could assure us that we could have a couple cots for our children to sleep on. We checked into our hotel at 8 PM, a good five hours after standard check in time. When my husband opened the door to our room he found it to be completely dirty. The bed was in disarray, there were dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom, full garbage cans, crumbs on the floor, etc. He called the front desk to let them know and they assured him they would send somebody up to clean the room. A young man came by a short time later and swapped out the dirty sheets on the bed, took the towels off the floor in the bathroom and set clean ones on the counter and left. Nothing was ever “cleaned”. There was still a used bar of soap in the bathroom from the previous occupant and urine on the bottom of the toilet seat when we went in to use the bathroom. When we inquired about getting the cots for our children to sleep on we were told that they had just given the last cot away. In frustration, I went to the front desk to ask if I could speak to the manager. I was told that she wouldn’t be back until 8 o’clock the next morning.

Great place to visit. Food wonderful. Workers are pleasent. New Chef has it going on. I had a Lobster and Shrimp dinner and it was the best I ever ate. Two thumbs up.

Excellent adjustable beds, better than most breakfast buffet. Cocktails early evening. Nice location. What's not to like?

Do NOT stay here. Worst experience ever! We checked into our two rooms late last night 6/8/17. We were shocked upon entering one room. It was filthy! Wet towels everywhere, beds unmade with dirty sheets, garbage in the room, and it smelled funny. I went to the front desk and complained. They moved us to another room and apologized. Well now we were separated from our second room but oh well. The second room had some sticky drips all over the wall, a tear in the wall paper, and the wall was damaged in the bathroom. The room they moved us to had a faulty air conditioner and also smelled bad. The lady at the front desk didn't even apologize. We only stayed about 5 hours. I'm the morning we found out the manager had quit. Also, my son ran into someone in the hallway and they too were complaining about their dirty room. Unacceptable!

Friendly staff. Breakfast is one of the better complementary ones I've seen before. The pantry had few items, wish they had more to choose from. Overall a clean and friendly place to stay. Oh and the hot tub is a great bonus.

This hotel has a shuttle to the airport and the primary reason for choosing. The staff are friendly and the rooms are nice as well. The adjustable firmness on the mattress was an added bonus however, I did not need to adjust mine. I slept very well and they are very accommodating to traveling to the airport in the van, sort of making it feel personalized. Really appreciated the ergonomic chair and the hotel dining. Had a drink and the bacon chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes and everything tasted great. I would definitely stay here again before catching a flight out of the area. I stayed here December 7th I loved the place very clean comfortable friendly staff and the room service was excellent I recommend the sirloin steak n fries there very good I'll be staying with them again.

A great place to lay your head after a long day of traveling. Very friendly staff and comfy beds. Let the staff know ahead of time your flight number and the shuttle is waiting for you curbside. You can't beat that kind of service!

Rave to Bradley Phillips! He went out if his way to put together a incredible 21st birthday gift basket for my son today! My son is in the Air Force and I am states away. Unable to get him his gifts on time (same day delivery), Bradley came to my rescue! I sent him a list of goodies I wanted, he hit the streets and put it together… all in just hours! He even bought him a cake with his name on it! Incredible! Thank you so much Bradley… it's so hard to be without my Airman on this special day, you made it one to definitely remember!

I stayed 3 nights while travelling with family. The rooms were fairly standard in size. The beds were adjustable and were ok. The room included both a small refrigerator and microwave which were handy. The room was clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

Everything was perfect: comfortable bed in a roomy room, HD TV with HBO, complementary Wi-Fi, friendly staff, and a short drive to Main Street. I wish more hotels were at this high level of quality.

Rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel is generally quiet, but I usually stay on the 4th floor with nobody above me. The breakfast is awesome. Staff is always friendly and helpful. One negative is that the "heated" pool is ice cold every time.

It's a nice hotel. The pool is a little small. There was a mixup with our room and we walked in on another guest sleeping. But they took care of it and upgraded us to the Presidential Suite.

This place is brandnew, staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Food is fantastic and room are very spacious at a decent cost! Would stay here forever if I could :) 5/5

Great hotel, food is excellent, beds are a little hard but there is a button on the side for adjustment.

Very modern hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice bed, large walkin shower, good exercise facility.

Somewhat difficult to find, the area is still being developed. People were pleasant. Blankets weren't large enough for two people to share. Room otherwise was nice: adequate water pressure, clean, plenty of towels.

Very nice hotel! They have adjustable comfort king beds and it was the best rest I've ever had in a hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in August 2014. Very beautifully decorated and many areas to relax and read. The staff of the hotel and restaurant/bar were always courteous and friendly. Breakfasts were wonderful. I would highly recommend it.

Recently stayed here and enjoyed every minute. We were on top floor and had a double room with queen size beds that were very soft and comfortable. (You can adjust softness/hardness to your liking). Rooms, bedding and towels cleaned daily. The staff, especially reception, were amazingly friendly, which one needs if staying for three weeks as we chose to do. Thanks to you all for making our stay a home from home experience. Pearl, Chrissy, Angie, Meg, Shannon, Gene, Al and Davis, our lovely shuttle drivers) and all staff, you were amazing. The free shuttle was a life saver for us because neither of us felt confident enough to drive. Walmart is reasonably close-by, as is a shopping Mall.
The breakfast was wonderful, help yourself, as much as you could eat, fruit, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles. Etc etc. And no problem in ordering exactly what you wanted. Although we didn't eat in hotel much evenings, what meals we did have were good. After days out we were happy to return and use the microwave in the room and just chill.
Thanks again to you all for making our stay and trips out so successful. I will certainly recommend you to others and hope to return some day.

Best hotel for rapid city.

Still has the new building smell, so hard to find much to complain about. Food from room service was just ok.

One thing that could have turned into a major problem: I had specifically reserved a smoking room and we were inadvertently put into a nonsmoking room. I didn't spot that at first, and when my husband called a staff member about something trivial, they pointed it out and got us transferred to a smoking room. They said if we didn't get moved we would end up being fined, and that would have made us very unhappy campers. We got into our smoking room, which didn't smell of smoke at all till my husband lit up, so I used the air filter I bring with me on trips. The had free Wi-Fi, and it was wonderful! Didn't make us jump through hoops, just sign in and you have your Wi-Fi. Also, their TV (unlike most hotels) offered MSNBC. Yes, they also had Fox if you are conservative, but fair is fair and most hotels offer only the conservative option. Breakfast was paid only, with a buffet that offered a lot of variety. But when I wanted to get just some yogurt and a bagel, the staff was very accommodating. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
