My husband and I recently took up a highly recommendation and we where very much wowed. Wonderful owners I had to remind myself this wasn't dream as everything was perfect to a T.
We both agree to make it our annual birthday tradition.
The breakfast was more then perfect and the rooms are very cozy. Within walking distance to the famous downtown.

Amazing place, ran by amazing people. Beautiful decor, tasty breakfast, great accommodations.

A most beautiful home and wonderful, informative hosts!

We’ve stayed at B&B’s all over the country but this one is our new favorite! Special owners who greeted us as if we were old friends. Very quiet place for 122 year old home. The ambiance was perfect. We will definitely stay here again and we highly recommend. We stayed in the attic suite and it’s perfect!

A must do. Not your typical Bed and Breakfast. Nyla and Tom are AMAZING and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast is just WOW. Home cooked by someone who takes pride in what she does. We will be back for sure. Both Tom and Nyla have authored many books, have lived an amazing life, you will want to find a few minutes to chat if possible.

AWESOME! I loved this place. Stayed in two different rooms due to availability, whatcha was perfect. Can’t wait to return.

I cannot recomend the 1899 Inn enough! It is a beautiful Victorian building with modern amenities. The hosts were fun and welcoming and in the morning we were served the most delicious breakfast ever. Their cat Kepler personally saw to it that we were comfortably situated in our room. Downtown Deadwood is just a short walk away. Our stay at the 1899 Inn was absolute perfection, and we will definitely be coming back some day.

I cannot recommend this property enough! Everything from check in to check out were PERFECT! Our room was Gorgeous! Dustin and Laura were so kind and accommodating! The Inn is beautiful and homey. It was the best sleep Ive ever had away from home and breakfast was amazing, it felt like I was eating Sunday dinner with my family. We will definitely be back! If I could give 100 stars I would.

Didn’t expect too much, but turns out I love this house and breakfast are all my favorite. Highly recommend to all my friends!

What a gorgeous place to stay! Every detail was considered. Breakfast was delicious, the place was spotless, the room was extremely comfortable, our hosts were friendly and thoughtful, and the inn was just a short walk to the historical cemetery and downtown area. An absolutely wonderful experience!

Gorgeous historic home within walking distance of most attractions in Deadwood. Laura and Dustin were wonderful hosts… they were very friendly, welcoming, courteous, and attentive. The room had been remodeled very nicely and the whole house was clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. It's hard to define a "best" part of our stay since everything was amazing, but the breakfasts that Laura made were creative and delicious. I'd go back to Deadwood just to stay at the 1899 Inn again.

Beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous! The bed was so comfortable, the building historic and grand. The view off the front porch was beautiful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing! The music played during breakfast made me feel like I was thrown back in time. It is within walking distance of any place you could want to go. If you want a smaller, more personal place to stay with charm and class, this is the place to go! The people are super friendly and amazing too! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Definitely want to come back.

Outstanding home and rooms, meticulous attention to detail in the rooms, this B&B is truly fantastic in its old world charm and posh rooms.

Our stay at the 1899 Inn was outstanding. Everything from the personal service to the homemade breakfast exceeded our expectations. We have normally stayed in chain hotels and this was one of our first experiences with a smaller place to stay. It was the best hotel experience we've ever had. The house was amazing and super clean. We enjoyed learning about all of the history and the local area. The location is close to the main town and you can easily access anything you want to do. The experience was extremely personal and even though others stayed in the house as well, we had plenty of our own space and you felt as if the visit was all about you. I would highly, highly recommend staying here out of any local choices for accommodations. The decor was outstanding and the cats were super friendly and made the experience amazing! Hands down it’s the best place to say in the area!

This was one of the most beautiful and welcoming B&Bs we have ever stayed it. Gorgeous home with very kind hosts. We will be very eager to come back next time we come through Deadwood. Loved it!

First time at a b&b and we really enjoyed it! It was a great new experience! House is full of history, owners were super sweet and helpful people, and the breakfast was delicious! We stayed in the music room and we were very pleased. Bed was comfy, view was beautiful and had an attached bathroom. Over all, we had a very good experience for our first time at a b&b! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We took a girls weekend and got to stay in the attic. Such a nice room, great customer service. The breakfast was to die for. Laura and her husband were amazing hosts. I will for sure stay again. PS… I have allergies to cats and you would never no they had cats in the house ever. They are very sweet.

The historic house is magnificently articulated with beautiful decor, vintage appeal and modern amenities. This was my first time in a B&B. It's a different experience than a hotel as there is a communal element; a shared bathroom with other rooms and a common area on the main floor. We got in and up a bit late so we didn't interact with many other guests. Our host, Laura and her family were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. The late arrival was no problem. We met the house cat outside down the street who led us to and in the house, quietly accompanying our exploration which began once we entered with one of the most amazing chocolate chip cookies ever to have entered my mouth. Perfect balance between salt and sweet with a wonderfully soft texture and slight crunch on the outside. Upon waking, a shower, cup of coffee and a quick perusing of current events ended with some pleasant conversation and a fantastic home cooked meal consisting of a fluffy, rich scallion frittata, home made sourdough bread, real butter, and some fresh fruit on the side. We only stayed for one night, but given the chance to spend more time, I would not think twice. The hospitality and environment made this quick Deadwood visit nourishing and left a lasting impression. Thank you!

This was a great place to stay. They were so accommodating even with short notice. We had the third floor room and it fit my daughter myself and two cats. They gave some wonderful recommendations for dinner in town and served a straight up amazing breakfast.

Laura was extremely kind to provide a room for us at a last moments notice. The Inn is very nicely maintained and the other guests were a pleasure to have met. Well worth the small expense considering the other options in town. The breakfast was to die for and I would not hesitate to return here on my next trip to Deadwood or even passing through. Kepler, their cat, was a joy and is the friendliest cat I've met. Truly a wonderful Inn to stay in.
