Review of Comfort Inn East Pickerington 2*

I recently stayed at this location due to traveling for sports for my son. There are a few things that I found REALLY important to review as I would have liked to know in reviews. ANTS! There were ANTS everywhere in our room, which certainly beats the alternative type of bug but still ruined any food or drink we kept in the room. The floors were GROSS. The carpet was so dirty that my sons socks were black and ruined from walking around the room on the carpet. The desk associates were RUDE! We made a few requests to the desk and they were all really rude each time we cam in contact with them. The only nice person we encountered over the weekend was the man who was attending breakfast, who was nice enough to even leave out a tip basket… The first night we stayed we were starving from our later arrival — we called Grandma's Pizza number that was advertised in our room (we have a Grandma's local and knew it should be quality) but when we got a total of over $60 for 2 large Pizza's we discovered the number was for the hotel to place the order and have it delivered. NO THANKS! So we called Grandma's on our own only to find out that not only was a large pizza only $13.00 normally, but because we alerted them that we were staying at the hotel, because of the deal they have set up with the hotel — they would have to charge us MORE for the SAME FOOD! The pool was about the only thing that was clean but our keys NEVER worked to get in there… of course we then had to speak to the not so polite attendant. Who also kicked us out of the pool earlier than it closed, but also didn't want a small group of us (6 of us) gathered in the lobby quietly chatting.
