This place is very comfortable, professional and clean. No problem at all with any people. The rooms were clean and ready during check in. They had free breakfast ready at 7am in the morning. The beds were very comfortable. Wifi worked very well. The employees were very nice and helpful. I recommend anyone looking for a nice priced hotel. You get what you pay for and this place is clearly worth the money.

Huge clean room, friendly staff, breakfast was good, overall a great place to stay! I love that the staff was knowledgeable about great local places to get dinner. :)

Nice place to sleep over when traveling, to Lancaster, Ohio. On line reservation booking. Respectful check-in clerks. Room and bath were clean. Fresh bed linen. House keeping maintained well. Wake up call service. Early raise continental breakfast, self serve. *** Pets Allowed, non-returnable deposit per pet. Was nice to find Pet Friendly when traveling. *** Retiredwelder.

They pass were it counts the most for me in a hotel… COMFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOWS! All the cookies, hotdogs, and popcorn cannot make up for a hard bed. Very clean and staff were SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful!

Love this Holiday Inn Express location. They are pet-friendly and the staff is SUPER friendly too. Free breakfast is also great. Also, it's very clean. They may not have the newest building out there, but we can say it's clean and well-kept. My husband has dust allergies and he didn't have any problems here! Highly recommend staying here.

We had a decent stay overall. This location is easily accessible right off the main route. The service we received was excellent. The cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved, but was acceptable.

I've stayed at all hotels in Lancaster and this is the best. Books up quick. I pray I get a room Here compared to the other options.

Rooms were very clean. Fresh pillows two types, pool was warm breakfast was very good and fresh. Overall the hotel was comfortable staff were pleasant and willing to help.

Room was clean and the overall stay was really nice. Price for one night was a little expensive for what you get which is why it wasn't 5 stars. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Best hotel breakfast I've ever had.

This is an exemplary property. The rooms are clean, well decorated; the breakfast is very good, and the entire staff goes out of their way to make each guest feel special. We always stay at Holiday Inn Express when traveling, and this is the best we have stayed at. I would highly recommend it.

I will never stay at this hotel again. They quoted a price for two rooms for two nights, promised to email the quote (never did), then doubled the rate when I arrived. The amenities on the web site are not correct. The staff treat you as if you are stupid when you question why the rate changed. I will never stay here or any other Holiday Inn anywhere. I only left one star because not to leave a star at all might leave you to think I forgot to rate it.

I have been staying at the Holiday Inn in Lancaster during the week for the past year because of work and overall it has been a great experience. The staff is very friendly and makes sure that all of my needs are met. The facility is always clean and I always come back to a clean room when I return from work. The rooms come with a keurig, which is a nice touch. Breakfast is really good, especially compared to those offered at other hotels I have stayed at, and the kitchen staff are also very kind people. They do offer a small fitness area which includes a treadmill, elliptical, bike and some dumbells. There is also an indoor pool. The only complaints that I have are that the Wi-Fi could be faster and, since my staying there I have had my vehicle broken into twice, however, both times were due to me forgetting to lock my car.

I arrived early, before my check-in time and they did everything they could to have a room ready for me. They were able to find one that was clean and got me in well before I should have. Really good service.

My girlfriend and I decided to stay here while visiting hocking hills. They accept pets and the price was about what we wanted to pay (not too cheap and not all that much money either). We were totally impressed with how nice the staff was as soon as we walked in. There was a young man training a girl although she seemed like she had the hang of things. They were both super nice and offered us a bottle of water after we had finished checking in. Our room was honestly nicer than some of the 3 and 4 hundred a night rooms we've stayed in. It was super clean and had everything we expected and more. It's nice to have a business exceed our expectations. This place definitely earned its five star review. We will be back. PS the breakfast is pretty good too!

The beds are comfortable. The pool is nicely heated, and the breakfast is nice and hot.

The hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. My room came with a fridge, mircowave, and a kureg. I think the Holiday inn Express is a great hotel for overnights and serveral day visits. My one complaint is that the curtains did t block out the sun very well.

Fine hotel. Had an interesting mixup where I lost one of my rooms for the second night after a process of trying to get a refund for the first night when certainly people in my group didn't show up but that might be an unfortunate situation. The lobby is built a little strange and it's confusing where the elevator is.

The staff was great and the room was great. Location was in a good area. Only down fall was pool was not heated. It was very cold and no hot tub.

Reservations were made weeks in advance. Good thing I kept the confirmation information. We were told there was no rooms and when we presented our confirmation they "found"one. When we got there the key didn't work and someone came out stating it was there room. We had to go back to the front desk to get it sorted out. Our rooms were reserved in a block for a wedding and every member of the wedding block had a similar issue. None of the rooms were near each other. It was horrible. After sorting out that mess the stay wasn't bad.

Decent place, clean, did not have all the road noise like other hotel in area. Breakfast ok.

My opinion is based upon the construction they had going on during the time that I was there. The construction workers are some shady looking characters. I was nervous to leave my stuff in my room with them in the hallway. The guy at the front desk has either had a battle with meth or is currently dealing with it. The skin and the teeth are dead giveaways. The rooms are okay. Like I said, the hotel was under construction so a lot of the common areas weren't in great shape or clean. I did find a droplet of blood on wall in the bathroom. No bed bugs though. The location was good. It was right next to the mall and several nice restaurants. The didn't require much from the service staff so I can't really comment on that. The free breakfast was average. The pancake machine didn't work right.

Stayed for three weeks nice rooms nothing fancy but clean. The staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was really well run and stocked. They have extra help just to keep it up to standards. Will stay here again when in Lancaster OH.

Were stopping here on our way from Detroit back to our house, and let me just say, I was impressed. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, etc. The rooms were average size, but whatever. We were expecting to stop somewhere in Columbus, but we found a location called Lancaster just south of that, and we looked for hotels. Because of the earlier reviews, it looked like an average to pretty good hotel. But it was good. They also had free breakfast, and free internet acess. I highly recommend it for a hotel in the Columbus area. Would be nice if they made the whole hotel smoke-free, because somebody was smoking in their room, and it traveled into ours.

Great hotel. Clean rooms, great breakfast (especially the cinnamon rolls) and the hotel staff were extremely friendly.
