Clean and spacious. I was working while traveling for pleasure so it was nice to have a somewhat separate area to work and have a desk. The desk was very unstable even though it should have been. Other than that the couch was so comfortable unlike most hotel furniture. Great breakfasts! We always use Hyatt and this one didn’t disappoint either.

My stay has been amazing. This hotel is super clean, quiet and the employees are great. The breakfast can't be beat! They offer free travel to and from the hotel within a certain distance. I highly recommend staying here.

She knew nothing about the area. They advertise 24 /7 food so not true and could not recommend a restaurant we could get breakfast at. First and last stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean and very comfortable. The only problem was that I called in February to make reservations and asked for rooms next to each other and they were the whole length of the hallway apart! I would think that 6 months notice should be adequate to reserve that request.

Third time staying. Great hotel. We are Hyatt members and I will usually take a Hyatt place over the Regency. Rooms are bigger, couch, bar and desk. The front desk has always been extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast is a plus as well. Nice little bar downstairs at this location.

Really nice area. The hotel has lots of trees around the hotel and rose bushes. Really peaceful. There was plenty of shade to take a stroll around the hotel. I was at the hotel for a seminar. The bathroom was clean and well stocked.

Very nice and quiet. The rooms were a bit dated but still very nice and the pillows were very thin. The food in the bar area was delicious and very reasonably priced. I am deducting one star because of the shuttle service. It was very difficult to find out information about riding it and it didn’t run early enough on the weekend for conferences.

Stayed here for a work conference. Very close to everything. Very clean and quiet. Felt very comfortable in the room and had a great breakfast. Will stay here again.

Even though I hold Hyatt in very high regard as a corporation, I regret to give this Hyatt Place only four stars, as opposed to the usual five stars for every Hyatt Regency I had the pleasure of visiting. Then again, Hyatt Regency can be found at a vacation destination or strategically located downtown or near the airport of a major city. I just found everything about this location to be very basic, not bad, but little better than any common American hotel (Marriot, Hilton, Courtyard, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites…), such as you would find on the road or in a college town. I found the room and the continental breakfast to be somewhat disappointing. To Hyatt's credit they do set the bar high, so I guess my expectations were too high. As the name implies, this hotel is conveniently located near Ohio State University, a point in favor, so I imagine it would be crazy-booked during graduation season or some sporting events. Also, there are some excellent restaurants and bars nearby including Eddie George's and Jason's Deli, which more than makes up for the lack of eateries onsite.

Perfect place to watch Red, White and Boom, but make sure you're room is facing east! Great parking, clean hotel, friendly service and breakfast was delicious! Only downfall was the cable was too basic. But still a 5 star to my husband and 1!

Very comfortable rooms. Great service. Very nice lobby and lounge and breakfast areas. Terrific parking, covered. I needed maintenance for a thermostat problem and they moved me to a new room in minutes. Cool, comfy, no blasting music, quiet halls, option to not have your room serviced every morning. Love it!

Big room and very comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and the hotel overall was very nice. Will probably stay there again next time I am in Columbus.

We come here everyyear for Origins, and as usual, the service is great. The rooms are always quite clean, and the breakfasts are usually pretty good. The shuttle is super convenient for getting around town from the hotel (and for free), so make full use of it if you stay.

The hotel itself is very well put together and wonderfully comfortable to stay in. While not overly luxurious it was very pleasant to stay and sleep in with a desk allowing me to do a bit of work as well. The beds are comfortable and the living arrangements do their job and do them well.

We visited Hyatt Place OCU for Rock on the Range May 2018. Very nice clean with a very knowledgeable staff about the surrounding area stores and restaurants etc. Rooms were clean and comfy. We were in town for a Rock and Roll weekend music festival. Me my wife and Grandson. Being middle aged this was perfect for us. And only approximately 6 miles from the venue. Mapfree Stadium. The reason I say perfect for us is because we could rock roll at the festival and have peace and quiet at Hyatt for rest at night. This Hotel is basically used by business people that need to come in town to work etc. So it is a good atmosphere. For is. No loud party scene. Although you could party if ya wanted. And the breakfast in the morning man. Hit the spot. Fuel for the day. With several cold juices, milk, coffee. Pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, yogurt fruit, etc. I gotta give it a 5 Starr rating.

The manager could have refunded my reservation, but chose not to. I have frequented Hyatt Place in recent years but will avoid the brand in the future, the focus is not on customer retention.

When we first arrived to the hotel, it was very beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Our hotel room was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in, and super clean. I would definitely stay again.

Interesting location in an outdoor shopping center. Parking was across the street in a garage, but it was free. The room I was in was large and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Located in a convenient spot, next to two restaurants and near Central Columbus, Hyatt Place was a nice hotel to stay in. Our room was spacious and the amenities were top notch. A free buffet style continental breakfast was provided in the A. M.

Great price, free parking, and still very close to the downtown convention center and Nationwide Arena. The rooms are clean, and attendants very nice. They also have free breakfast in the morning.

Overall it was a nice hotel cleanly with a good continental breakfast. The pillows however were weak, I had to stack three of them just to support my head. I would stay again but probably bring my own pillow.

I stayed after a wedding, the room was large and had a big tv. The beds were a bit stiff, but the fold out bed was much more comfortable than expected. There is no fan in the bathroom, which is a bit hard with multiple people showering. Breakfast as good and had a good variety. It's in a nice area and provides free parking.

Great place to stay! The staff was awesome and we were able to get something to eat after 1 AM! Room was clean and comfortable. Not the best hotel mattress ever, but I didn't wake up too sore. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just woke up to bites on my fingers, face and back. When I called the front desk to tell them that they probably had bedbugs m, their only reaction was that they will speak to the manager and get me some points. I had to ASK for another room for them to even begin exploring that option: you would think that a new room would be the first thing they would offer in this situation. After being placed on hold several times as they looked for another room, I finally asked them to call me when they have one ready. Still waiting.

Very nice, comfortable, and affordable prices. The breakfast in the morning was delicious too! They were very accommodating about giving us early check in, to the tune of 3 hours early, and put us in a more spacious handicap room.

We stayed at Hyatt Place Columbus OSU for the 2017 Wizard World Comic-Con. It's about 1.5 miles from the Columbus Convention Center, so not quite as convenient as the hotel adjacent to the Convention Center, but it definitely made up for the slight inconvenience in other ways. The two biggest things are that the room rate was cheaper, and the parking is free. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The free shuttle service made getting to and from the Convention Center a breeze, and our driver, Scott, was awesome. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance, as well as a gym and a spa. The hotel itself offers a fitness center and a pool, though we partake. Our room looked into an office building, which was kind of odd as we checked in on a Friday afternoon, so people were still working. However, the nighttime view of the city lights was fantastic. All in all we had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Great stay. Nice, clean rooms. Breakfast was very good, and parking was free! Shuttle service was helpful but hours were limited and some front desk staff not well informed. Most of the staff were excellent and were hustling at multiple tasks!

Stopped in to visit relatives staying here while in town. Very pretty, clean hotel. Surprisingly quiet considering it's so near highways and high traffic areas. The room they are staying in is really nice and surprisingly large.

This was our first time in Columbus. The Mrs. Took our daughter to a concert while the lad and I explored. Friendly staff; clean rooms with efficient use of space; variety of options included in the complementary breakfast; walking distance to many other destinations & a shuttle for the not so close places. All in all, a great trip and wonderful stay!

Great location, spacious room and even the pull out couch bed was comfortable. Only complaints are that someone pooped in the pool so it was closed the whole time, and the "bar" was staffed by the receptionist and they didn't know how to make a proper drink! Doesn't matter after a few though I guess.

Staff were amazing and helpful. Room was clean a d comfortable. Only thing that kept this from being a 5 star was that they were out of a lot of things. Not the staffs fault. Just a small inconvenience.

This is my favorite place to stay when visiting our office in Columbus. The rooms are very nice, the continental breakfast is great, and the price fits the corporate budget. I would highly recommend this place.

I was there for a work meeting. Upon arrival the employee at the desk was on the phone, she did not acknowledge my entrance in any way in fact she turned her back to me and the other staff that were arriving at the same time there was no one else around to direct us to the meeting room that we were to go to what we did eventually find our way there on our own. Besides that though the facility was very clean the room that our needs they had the projection and everything set up ready to go I would use their facility again.

We have stayed her numerous times and always had an excellent experience! I'm pretty picky and I typically don't ever eat at the breakfast buffets they offer in hotels but gotta say the eggs were really yummy! They actually cook it and have it setting on a stove with a lid to keep it warm and bacteria free! We get hospital rate bc that's why we stay with them! The staff is amazing! Great room for a great price! Starbucks always a plus!

Great and big rooms! Pillows and beds are extra comfortable, breakfast is good, Channel selection is a little lacking, but you can hook any video medium up to the big flat screen in the room. You won't go wrong here.

1 night stay, booked via Priceline. Staff were very friendly and helpful, check-in was fast. We stayed in a king bed room which was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Free breakfast in the morning was good, but more protein options would have been nice as it was mostly various bread/cereal/pastries. I like that checkout is at noon instead of the usual 11 at most hotels, as we had an extra hour to sleep in after breakfast. Overall a wonderful, relaxing stay.

We meet for church on Sunday at 11am at the Hyatt. They treat us wonderfully. We are blessed to be in a business relationship with them. They make us all feel very welcome!

We moved from Texas and hopeful we would only be staying for a day or 2. Due to a glitch in our planning, we wound up staying for a week, which turned out to be the best week ever. The staff and managers were accommodating and ensured we were taken care of. The rooms are really classy and hip. The cleanliness throughout was impeccable. Morning breakfast is like no other. Clean pool. Great little bar along with a cool seating area. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a great hotel in Columbus!

The free parking was nice. For a new hotel this place seems cheaply made. The walls are thin and the decor is very plain and basic. The free breakfast is lousy. You could get better breakfast at a fast food chain and I don't like fast food. We paid $300 on a Friday for 2 double beds which seemed high considering the atmosphere and location. I thought a Hyatt meant something but this location is no better than an average hotel chain.

Had a great stay here back in Jan. They had free parking which was great, but our rental had an issue. Nonetheless, the Front Desk were very helpful with getting us a car to take us into town other than directions. Clean big rooms and very comfy beds. Best of all we got a great deal last minute and all. Our first hotel wasn't as good as we expected. This Hyatt is near a decent Bar-n-Grill, Shops, and if need be, OSU. It will definitely be our pick the next time we're in town.

Nice clean hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms nice and clean. Food was a bit pricey in the hotel.

It's easy to check in and leave. The parking is covered. My parents stay there when visiting me at college, and the rooms are always extremely nice. The breakfast every morning is varied and usually delicious. My parents say they will continue to stay there when they visit.

If prices are $130 or under, can't get a better room in Columbus. In the past my breakfast experiences frequently have been lacking at Hyatt Places, but I think they are taking the feedback and improving. The room sizes are great.

Well appointed, comfortable rooms (if a little wonky with the layout) allowed my family to easily have separate bedtimes. The warm water indoor pool (but no hot tub) and the decent complimentary breakfast are great features that move Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU to the top of my list when I come to Columbus again.

My stay at the Hyatt was great. The room was spacious with a nice sitting room when you first walk in. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was really good and more than just the standard cereal. They even had free parking, which was nice.
