Staff was friendly and courteous. Check in was a breeze and I was able to check out on my phone. The included breakfast is always a welcomed plus. The mattress on the pull out couch was very comfy but served its purpose for the short time we were there. Would stay there again.

I highly, highly recommend this hotel. It's seriously a home away from home! I took my 3.5 year old son to stay for 5 nights. I mainly picked this hotel for the incredible pool and we got a room with a Jacuzzi tub. We went on a Sunday and upon arrival were told the pool was closed due to them cleaning it and such. My son was pretty upset. Come Wednesday I ran into one of the managers who made a phone call that allowed my son and I to go to another hotel she managed at to swim! My son was so happy and I was extremely grateful! On Thursday the pool had finally opened! And it's perfect! A great section for kiddos, a section for adult swimming and a hot tub! Plus very nice restrooms in the pool area, and an exposed shower to shower off. The room was super comfy and the Jets in the tub worked perfect! Maid service was always on top of things, even folded the extra blankets we brought. My son overslept one day and we were about 20 minutes late to breakfast. Everything was pretty much put away. He wanted pancakes and the pancake machine was turned off. The breakfast lady over heard him and came out and started the pancake maker back up just for him! I thought that was such a great gesture. My son was so happy. And she was more than happy to get them for him. On check out day, check out is at 11am, however we still got to get in some swim time at the pool! At check out they even refunded us one nights stay because of the inconvenience of the pool being closed for 4 days!

Amazing pool for our daughter and the water felt great. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was firmer than I care for but overall hotel is very relaxing and comfortable.

On April 28, 2018 We checked in for a little mini family vacation. Our kids (ages 3 and 4) have always love the splash pad swimming area. And we have gone there multiple times with no issues but this time was a lot different. When we went down to the pool area there was a smell of poop by the first door where you swipe your card. And after you go through that door there’s another door that goes directly to the pool But in that area in between the pool and the two doors there was feces on the ground. And you could see were somebody stepped on it and spread it onto the carpet. Immediately I picked up my kids and started going towards the front desk. Before I could even make it to the front desk. I saw that one of the workers and a house keeper (who was pushing one of those large baskets that you put dirty laundry in) we’re walking out of the pool area. I turned around and said excuse me do you know that there’s poop on that carpet and it’s being tracked from somebody shoes throughout the hall. The guy responded with yeah we know we’re taking care of it. As he and housekeeping walks over the feces (housekeeping pushes the laundry cart right over it). And I asked them how do you know that somebody didn’t defecate into the pool area? And his response was we looked and we didn’t see anything. My response to him was do you realize there is very visible fecal matter on the rug that you guys just walked on.

The hotel is in a good location near the highway and many food options. The room is a good size and had everything needed. The free breakfast in the morning was ok.

Room was very clean, staff friendly. I chose this hotel because of the pool area. My grandchildren absolutely enjoyed themselves. Only complaint, the chlorine levels in pool area was really high on first day swimming. Not so bad the following days.

The staff is wonderful. The hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed the food, pool and snack shop.

The rooms are nice had a double bed. The pool area looked nice but way to many people/kids. The Whirlpool was packed. Not impressed at all for the price. Would have stayed somewhere else!

Great hotel, friendly staff, great modern room, good free breakfast, good free Wi-Fi. Though watch that their logo on the sign at their entrance is very small! Edit: stayed again on a Monday. Checked in at 4:15, my room was still being inspected. Bags of trash were in my floor's hallway until 7pm.

Recently I made a reservation at this HIE. Due temporary physical condition I required an accessible room. Specifically with a roll in shower. Three phone calls and the best answer I got from on site staff was "I know we have them but I don't know about them or the cost". All three calls were transferred to National reservation. The on site staff was very unhelpful. When I checked into the room I was very disappointed. The AC was running and room cold. The lighting was dim in room and bathroom. The room was not comfortable. Desk had no light, or receptacles for computer. However the coffee maker was on the desk. Carpet was worn through in a number of areas. Stuffed chair but no ottoman. Bathroom was large but very tiny shower, slippery tile floor slopped away from shower to center of bathroom. Impossible to shower without getting most of floor wet. Had charge on CC explanation was checking to make sure card was good.? they said would be removed at check out. At checkout no one at desk waited over 10 min. Had to leave, as did others. Several hours after checkout charge still on card. Worst experience at HIE ever. Never stay here again.

A bit pricey, but the staff is always friendly. Our kids love the indoor pool area. They also have a really solid breakfast. They serve a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage and gravy (my personal favorite) and even have a pancake machine. The location is hard to beat. If you're there on business, Chase is basically next door. If you're visiting for pleasure, the access to 71 is great. It's near two separate huge malls, including Dave and Buster's. It's also minutes away from two really high quality movie theaters. I do love this place. The price is the sole reason I couldn't give 5 stars.

We accidentally booked the wrong date. To our face the employee who was trying to check us in seemed helpful. We went around the corner to sit down to figure out what to do and we overheard him talking about us and calling us idiots from around the corner.

Rooms were clean and the pool was fun! Nice warm breakfast and helpful staff. Would stay again!

My wife and I stayed here for a little get away. Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, great staff. Close to all Polaris 'stuff'.

The rooms are pretty nice. Our first one had a broken fridge and second didn't have all the bedding, but issues were resolved. Walls transmit sound room-to-room and especially from hall-to-room. (We were woken up each morning as the staff was cleaning nearby rooms. ) Breakfast offerings were ok, but multiple items ran out before breakfast hours were over. The kids enjoyed pool/play area, but it's pretty loud from all the water, so don't expect to relax or carry on a conversation while they swim. (We were the only group swimming. I can't imagine the noise level with other people in that area. ) We (kids included) were annoyed with the chemical smell in pool area and lasted an hour before it really gets irritating. The flooring throughout the lobby area gets super slippery when wet, so pay attention to those wet floor signs when they're out for weather/cleaning.

Very nice! Staff very helpful to ensure my needs were met. I am wheelchair bound & disabled so finding accommodations is most times difficult. Area has access Polaris, Ikea, Easton, & Tangier shopping centers. Plenty of places to dine in the immediate area. Will definitely be returning for return visits!

The larger water slide (appears in photos online) has been removed. We still enjoyed this pool area more than a traditional hotel pool by a wide margin. The rooms were clean, reasonably priced and plenty big. Avoid rooms to the west of the building, as they emptied the large steel dumpsters at 5 am, either poor judgement or poor placement.

Nice breakfast selection, friendly staff, rooms are small for price.

Called ahead for early check-in and desk staff said it was likely a room would be ready by our arrival time. When we arrived the same person we talked to said it would be another 45 minutes. After having lunch and returning 45 minutes later the desk person to us nothing would be available for another hour. Poor communication between shift change. Average rooms and breakfast otherwise.

The desk clerk named Will was beyond rude from the first hello. I was shocked by such behaviour. My wife and I have come to think of every holiday inn as a home away from home. And every employee extened family. Not this one. Even as we wished Will well on our way out of the door his rudeness continued. There is a much nicer hotel one exit north.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites was great for our family of 4. The hotel and room was up to date with a modern style. The room, loby and pool we're clean and inviting. One of the perks of this hotel is the pool. It offers a little of everything for all ages. The kids really enjoyed the tipping buckets and basketball hoop; while my husband and I watched from the hot tub. Breakfast in the morning was nice. There were many options for my picky eaters. Over all this was a great overnight stay, I only hated the pillows. Next time I'll have to remember to pack mine.

My experience was odd, but acceptable experience at this hotel. When we first got there, everything seemed pretty normal, check in was fine. When we first got into our room, the floor was littered with various food particles. It was odd to see something like this at a place like​ this, so I mentioned something to the staff. Immediately they sent someone to make things better. Breakfast was acceptable, nothing special. In the end, I slept in a bed, but a few things could have been done better.

Absolutely awesome. We called expecting them to say they were sold out and they had a cancellation. They could have jacked up the price of the room on us, but gave us an amazing price instead. The room was super clean. Bathroom was as well. Chad and Joe, at the front desk, were 2 of the best front desk workers I've ever encountered. Would stay there again in a heart beat!

I have stayed at a ton of holiday inns in my life but never have I been so impressed walking through the doors. Simply put, this property is beautiful. It continued to amaze me as I made my way to the elevator and to my room. Beauty, style, comfort, kind employees… I challenge you to find a similarly priced room with the class that existed here. The pool was another unique and inviting feature. My daughter was having tons of fun on the frog slide! With many food and entertainment options just minutes away, this will definitely be my choice each time I need to stay in the Columbus area!

Pool area was great. All of my kids and I enjoyed it. It has swimming lanes and splash pad features. The room was clean and well provisioned. I would stay here again. Good for families.

Excellent service and great quality.

Room was a little bit dirty. Pillow had black stain on it. Bathroom floor had small pieces of trash. Somebody in a previous stay before me left garbage on the counter from a new cell phone purchase and it was still there. Counters didn't look clean.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The amenities were well kept and room decor was up to date. Complimentary breakfast was well stocked! Kudos to the staff!

The stay was great. Beds were extremely comfortable; rooms were quiet and spacious; and the staff was friendly. Facilities were kept nice and they offered a good amount of incentives (food, beer, wine, etc. ) just for staying with them. Didn't get to check out the pool or workout room, but they looked pristine. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend.

Pros: Comfortable bed (mattress), nice decor, good bfast, pool for kids and jacuzzi. Cons: loud kids in hallway, shower sucks, flat and I do mean FLAT pillows, poor Internet service, phone in room not working, refrigerator not working, housekeeping not that great. Length of stay: 2 nights, weekend stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful overall experience while staying one night at the Holiday Inn Express in Polaris! The room was comfortable and large enough that we didn't feel cramped at any point. We opted for the king room with whirlpool tub. The tub filled quickly, was very clean, and surrounded by a tiled area so you aren't soaking the carpet when exiting. We'll definitely be sure to make our next Columbus getaway to include staying here again! Pros: Courteous and friendly staff Clean feeling throughout the property Numerous breakfast options Modern and up to date furniture and fixtures Plenty of towels and extra for use of whirlpool Location makes it easy to avoid traffic entering/exiting property Cons: Our room's heater (304) made a noise that resembled dripping water hitting a metal floor. We personally investigated after being woke up various times throughout the night and could not locate the issue. (This is something you wouldn't notice without being an overnight guest so we don't count it against the hotel, or staff, but it did reflect upon our experience. ) Attempted multiple times to inquire about an early check-in, but told earliest would be one hour before the 4 pm check-in before the receptionist even attempted to look into. Maybe she was aware of the status of all rooms prior to my calling, but I felt imposing just inquiring by our conversation. She was a very friendly receptionist in all our personal interactions.

I like this hotel. They could use a couple more employees on hand though. This hotel has a nice idea of offering guests breakfast in the morning, but because a nice portion of our population is super terrible at life, they seem to ruin it for others who do know how to act around others. For example, I don't like eating breakfast and looking at people's ugly feet. For some reason, people think it's okay to come down barefoot to eat their breakfast in a hotel among others. It's bad enough they'll wear their ugly pajamas down to eat, but I DON't WANT TO SEE YOUR FEET! I even saw kids come from the pool to eat breakfast who had only towels around their bodies. There is a sign on the wall that states shoes and shirts required, but none of the staff is willing to enforce it. The breakfast bar gets crowded quickly, and because many people aren't conscious enough to realize that there are others around them trying to live their lives too, they cause a cluster of selfishness and ruin it for others. It could function better if one of the staff members kept the flow of people moving now and again, but it seems like they're understaffed and none of them wants to step up and lead. So if people understood that they're not at home here and to simply consider others, it might work much better. But it will only happen if staff enforces the rules and doesn't allow guests to be rude.

The hotel is very nice, a little pricy but the amenities are very impressive.

Awesome hotel experience! Clean, comfortable, and well kept room. Beautiful indoor pool and hot tub. Newly renovated, and we'll designed. Affordable price in walking distance of the Polaris Shopping Center.

It was nice, rooms small for the price we payed. Breakfast was good. Way to serious about the arm bands for the pool area.

I will never stay at this or any Holiday Inn express again the service was terrible they never change the large comforters I ask for them to change it and the head of house keeping stormed in the room with a nasty mood and said she will not change it because the house keepers left for the day (we checked out early) if you do decide to stay make sure you check the bed really good before you unpack your belongings. The head of house keeping is Terribly rude, It was a waste of $300 dollars.

I stayed at the hotel for one night and was very happy with the room itself. It was clean and the bed was comfy, however the staff was not very helpful. The Wi-Fi was not working so I called the front desk and the lady was rude. This hotel is a little on the pricey side but the hot breakfast was good.

Terrible! chucky cheese of hotels! roaches, bloody bandaid. Room not clean. Hair on the bed linens. Grime in the Hot Tub. Looks like a beautiful hotel, but germ ridden. TERRIBLE! OVER CROWDED from a Million kids who have PARTIES at the POOL. BUFFET is Dirty and Swarmed with PARTIES, SPORTS TEAMS, and a million UNATTENDED CHILDREN. terrible terrible! this is like chucky cheese of hotels. They were going to credit us for our whole stay, when they came and got the roach that I squashed, but they lied and wouldn't do what they had said.

The staff is awesome and super friendly. Treated like family for the 8 total weeks I was there. 5 weeks straight on one stay. Great pool for kids and adults. Lap lane and slides.

Stayed here last weekend. It was clean and modern. Very well kept. The staff were nice. I originally was suppose to stay one night but due to the weather we decided to stay an extra night. I had one issue. The room above me (505) was really noisy. I complained and the noise did not die right away. It went on for a while. I stayed another night on the condition that those people checked out otherwise we would have left and found a nearby room. However, I had the same issue the following night. The walls and floor do not block out sound at all and I could litterally hear the conversation of the people next to me.

Its a very nice hotel. Of course it better be for the extremely high price that you will pay :-).
