Review of Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbus 2*

I highly, highly recommend this hotel. It's seriously a home away from home! I took my 3.5 year old son to stay for 5 nights. I mainly picked this hotel for the incredible pool and we got a room with a Jacuzzi tub. We went on a Sunday and upon arrival were told the pool was closed due to them cleaning it and such. My son was pretty upset. Come Wednesday I ran into one of the managers who made a phone call that allowed my son and I to go to another hotel she managed at to swim! My son was so happy and I was extremely grateful! On Thursday the pool had finally opened! And it's perfect! A great section for kiddos, a section for adult swimming and a hot tub! Plus very nice restrooms in the pool area, and an exposed shower to shower off. The room was super comfy and the Jets in the tub worked perfect! Maid service was always on top of things, even folded the extra blankets we brought. My son overslept one day and we were about 20 minutes late to breakfast. Everything was pretty much put away. He wanted pancakes and the pancake machine was turned off. The breakfast lady over heard him and came out and started the pancake maker back up just for him! I thought that was such a great gesture. My son was so happy. And she was more than happy to get them for him. On check out day, check out is at 11am, however we still got to get in some swim time at the pool! At check out they even refunded us one nights stay because of the inconvenience of the pool being closed for 4 days! I seriously recommend this hotel convenient to such amazing restaurants and activities! Minutes from Polaris mall and the environment and staff are genuinely beyond impressive! Definitely check this place out!
