The whirlpool barley works in the deluxe room the beds are hard as cardboard. There were tons of kids and people in the pool area all day I had kindly asked if we could go into the pool for a little after because there were so many people. She had scolded me saying when the pool closes its closed until 7 am no exceptions. I used to work as front desk in a americinn and one other hotel you do what you need to to keep the guest happy so they can come back and enjoy another stay. I will not be coming back.

The room we booked had not been cleaned when we checked in, they said we could stay in another that night and get into our booked room the next day. Day staff were very rude and made it seem like an inconvenience to them. The last 2 days the hot tub was once again not working. Typical since 12 out of our last 15 stays the hot tub and or pool have been out of order. Complained the first day it "broke" but was never repaired while we were there. Time to find a new place to stay.

We were very pleased with our room. It was absolutely spotless and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was wonderful and also the Hot-tub. There are several good restaurants close. I will definitely stay there again. And Breakfast was great!

They are very helpful. The pool is open until midnight! very clean. Decent breakfast.

The rooms were pretty nice and the breakfast was great as usual. The only issue was the A/C unit in the room was so loud we could not run it during the night, which would have been nice considering it was 100 degrees out. It still managed to stay pretty cool at night with just the fan running.

Room is clean, breakfast nice/filling and good price. Pool/hot tub area clean the kids enjoyed it.

The AmericInn in Bismarck was in a great location near the highway and food options. The pool was great and the hotel even had pool toys for the kids. The Continental breakfast offered a wide variety of food, including an omelette bar.

The staff are so friendly, pool, hot tub, sickies garage and Applebees in walking distance. Rooms are clean and has fridge microwaves and coffee makers. Breakfast is awesome! Biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, muffins, donuts, cereal, bagels… etc.

Not a bad place to stay. TVs are definitely outdated. Beds are decent.

Were extremely helpful with allowing us to stay 2 hours longer than checkout which helps a lot because of working.

I always enjoy these hotels. This one has major management issues. There was a disagreement going on first thing in the morning and the language was not something any paying customer should've ever had to hear. The breakfast was mediocre compared to other americinns I've stayed at but the gave me a good rate. Like all americinns the bed and pillows were nice. The bathroom and towels could definitely use some work.

Stayed about a month ago on business. They gave me a complimentary upgrade which was nice. The whirlpool tub and fireplace are heavenly. This place also had one of the best complimentary breakfasts ever for a hotel in this price range — bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoes, waffle maker, make-your-own omelet… very nice. My room was nice and clean; bed comfy; internet and cable TV worked great. The desk lady (Kirby, I think? ) was very nice.

The front desk manager was great, along with the head housekeeper. She cleaned my room so that I could check in early. The rooms are excellent. All the hotel staff are friendly! Thank you for your service!

Staff was wonderful! The whirlpool tub is showing its age. Room was nice.

Friendly staff but the place has paper thin walls and doors, basically. We were up all night (close to 1am) because kids were running back and forth upstairs and we could hear people in the room next door talking. The pillows are awful too. Felt like a lump of rocks honestly. Generally, we like staying at AmericInn but this one wasn’t as good as previous ones we’ve stayed at.

It was a nice room and they were very accommodating for my handicapped fiancee. I thought it was a good experience. They need to fix the leak in the ice machine though.

Great place for all ages something for everyone worth the money would recommend it to all families since the reopening it is my families new favorite place to stay while in the cities.

Nice and quiet. Friendly service. Good rates. They let you use the Anytime Fitness nearby to workout. Would definitely stay here again.

Prices are right and the room is always nice. When I leave the oil fields for my time off this is my first stop before I fly home.

Cozy place. Good breakfast. Pool, hot tub, fireplace in lobby, fireplace in some rooms, and friendly staff. Only downside is no elevator.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and the best hotel of our 8 day trip by far. The lobby was warm, cozy, welcoming, and inviting. The staff was kind, helpful, and respectful; they were eager to bend over backwards to accommodate us. The only draw back was THERE'S NO ELEVATOR! However, the rest of the experience made up for it 100%. Breakfast was incredible! The cook was so friendly and you could really tell he loved his job. He definitely pushed our experience over the top with his undeniable big heart and kindness. We had an amazing experience at this AmericInn. Do Not judge a book by its cover, the hotel looks uninviting from the outside; it's surrounded by numerous big name hotels that are gorgeous on the outside. The AmericInn Bismarck is a great great great place to stay, do not hesitate!

Easy access off the road. Clean rooms and good breakfast included.

Very quiet rooms and comfortable beds. The only downside is the location isn't all that great. The breakfast was good.

I've always liked americinn.

The room we went to the event in was small for the occasion, bit there was a good number of people. The room was located next to the pool so that was very convenient, and there was also a room to change with a shower right next to the pool. That really helps us since we have a two year old. The pool was a bit colder but the temp in the pool room was rather warm.

I really liked our stay, we had a cozy anniversary getaway and it was a perfect room to stay in with the suite. The bed was a bit lumpy and hard. So not the best bed to sleep in. Also the breakfast wasn't the best but it was continental so I wasn't holding out. But for the price we paid, I wanted a bit nicer. Overall it was a nice stay.

Everything was very good. But some times the lights did not work.

Hotel was decent looking, clean from what I could tell. Stayed In a Jacuzzi suite. Pretty nice. Found a plastic cup in room, but other side clean. Friends stayed in another Jacuzzi suite and they found a condom in the drawer on top of bible. Overall it was a good nights sleep. Didnt hear any noise.

Best. Hot tub. Ever. Ever! If I had one word to describe this hot tub it would be the word "magical. " Magical! Every muscle in my body relaxed and I was whisked away to a fantasy island filled with clouds and wizards that zapped every muscle that hurt with their little electrical wands and then millions of tiny unicorns came and poked my muscles with their miniature little horns. It was an amazing experience and I urge you to try it out! P. S. My skin only suffered 2nd degree burns in the process!

Have booked here in the jacuzzi sweet multiple times for a small getaway with my wife. Service is always pleasant and the room is always well kept. Great little hotel.

I wish I could do 3.5 stars. It was a very clean place, very well kept up. The staff here was incredibly nice. Our ac wasn't working when we fist checked in, and the front desk lady came right up and got it going again. The breakfast was OK. They had a waffle maker and some hot eggs and breakfast meat, but that was about it, maybe some cereal. Overall it was a solid three star hotel, and the staff made it four.

If I could, I would give it half a star. Only thing that I liked was the bed. We had several rooms and we're there for several weeks at a time for work. During our last stay they decided to open all of our rooms to do work with no notice! So we couldn't pack our valvaluables. When we went to complain the person on staff that day decided we needed to leave. We finished out our scheduled stay and weren't allowed to extend. Complete disregard for customers. Other issues include bad maid service, couldn't even check rooms on a regular basis. Keys had to be reprogrammed irregularly with a whole host of excuses. Do not stay here, you're just a cash cow!

The stay was ok, we had to reset our key almost everday. And I had my medication sent to me in the mail and asked the front desk to return to sender because I had to leave before it arrived. Needless to say It never got sent back and the hotel won't do anything about it! Don't have anything important sent to you because you won't get it back!

Checked in here on 8/20/14 and the lady at the front desk was very helpful after a 14 hour day at work. Real nice room and breakfast. I'll come back.

It's an americinn — always a good experience. The location was excellent: a couple of blocks off the highway.

Staff MIA, dingy, stifling hot room. Breakfast was only redeeming quality, mostly because of relief to be leaving this dump. We arrived late July 5th, 2014, around 10 pm. Other guests could not locate front desk staff for check in. Staff finally came after telephone rang in back room. He appeared to have been sleeping. Our guest suite was stifling and dingy. Kids had difficult time falling asleep due to heat. Sub par a/c never did cool adequately. Stained nasty mattress on pullout sofa in front room. No portable crib was available, despite previous assurances that one would be in our room. Stay at new motels nearby instead.

I have stayed in this location several times and never had a problem with the staff or other inappropriate behaviors. It is a new building, well built, and quiet. I prefer to stay in Americinns whenever possible.

DO NOT stay here! We were robbed by hotel staff, not offered any compensation! Not even for our room! Severely understaffed, which is a good excuse for them when they rob you! Absolutely awful.

I was absolutely blown away by the incompetence shown by the owner. This is by far the worst place to stay in Bismarck and I strongly discourage anyone from doing so.
